About: I was brought up in a rural area, surrounded be many animals the entire time. I worked in an animal shelter for 2 years before I moved to Seattle. I've had dogs since I was born & a few cats - would have had more but 2 family members were allergic. Im very familiar of taking care of.dogs of all ages. Several of the babies I've had over the years lived to be well into their mid teens, so dealing with the blind, deaf, sickly & just old age in general, isn't an issue. Small/large, old/young, low/hight maintenance - im comfortable, exposed & familiar with it all. I work around 20-30 hours a week & live within a 10 minute walk to my job. Im generally a home body & will be particularly when sitting. I live near a large park & have a fenced dog run on my rooftop so can give immediate, short & extended care/walks - whatever is needed by them. It depends on what the animal wants & needs. My home will/can be an open space for them if thats what they want and plenty of room for them to find their comfortable spot. I have an AC & heater, so climate wont be an issue. When it comes to your home, mostly same thing applies - its all up to you & them. I will respect that its your/their space - not mine. During summers, if caring at your home, do prefer housing with AC because I am a bit sensitive towards heat but not enough to turn down a job (unless it gets 80°+ inside).

About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life! My family is filled with animal lovers, and often do public outreach to teach communities about animals and pet-care. I have 2 cats that are both 4 years old, almost 5 soon! I just graduated with my Masters in Legal Studies and I am looking for work while I job search and decide what is next for me. Rover allows me to set my own hours that align with my open availability. My cats have a pretty cushy life. They're both fed 9-11 a.m., I feed them a small wet food can, dry food with snacks on top, along with fish oils. They are fed the same amount in the evening (and extra treaties if they have been good ladies that day). They receive play or enrichment before meals, and otherwise love to cuddle and sleep. It is satisfying to me to brush them, too. The same applies to dogs. I had 5 dogs throughout my childhood, I provided care for them and walked them frequently. I have been stressed in my day-to-day life recently, and I believe dog walking will allow me to be outside while doing something positive and productive. I love all types of dogs, and am not scared of most animals.

About: Hello! I’m 30-years-old and have had both dogs and cats most of my life. While most of us had pets in our childhood, I got my own dog when I was in my early 20s in undergrad. A German Shepherd puppy I named Murph. He was a joy and a handful, but I loved him all the same. He was unexpectedly put down in May of 2025 due to heart failure at 8-years-old (but hey, that’s still a pretty good life for a 100-pound German shepherd!). While I’m not ready to move on from him, I am ready to show your pets the same love he got! I also have two black cat sisters named Clementine and Clover. For the last three years, I’ve been a practicing attorney who has managed immense caseloads and packed schedules. So, you know that you are getting some who is hardworking, responsible, and has the attention to detail your pet may need (whether they’re old, young, fast paced, or slow). I’m ready to make your loved ones continue to feel loved with pet sitting, play dates, walks, or anything in between! I recently moved to Washington to better address my partner’s health concerns, so for the time being I am waiting to start my new job later this summer. Until then, I am able to work my schedule around your pet’s desires! Once I start in my new legal office, I will still be relatively flexible for the people that want to keep me in their pet’s lives. I will be able to be available in the early morning, afternoons, and evenings. I will always be available over weekends. In the event that I’m not available on a given day, I will be very upfront in that and will likely have references for people I think your pets would like to be cared for by. I currently live in an apartment that overlooks a park in the Central District for easy walks and bathroom breaks. I also have my own car and access to my partner’s car for trips to groomers, vets, dog parks, etc. I do live with my two cats, but they are friendly and do not mind company ( and if they do, they have places to hide that they love sleeping in). If I am going into your home, I have no issues following any instructions you have for me. The last cat I pet sat for had a 7-step process for making their dinner, I didn’t mind in the slightest because I knew I was making his day.
About: Cannot own pets in my current apartment unfortunately, so opting for doing pet sitting on here! I will: 1. Send many photos, with detailed notes to you during pet care 2. Respond promptly to your check in texts 3. Ask tons of questions during the meet and greet about temperament, preferences, personality, house logistics, if you are going out of the country/ won’t be accessible, an emergency contact if necessary, etc 4. For house sitting, I will clean up after myself before heading out (i.e. taking trash out, tidying up pet area, giving the pet bowls one last wash, etc) 5. Offer my love to your pet My schedule is the most flexible on weekends, where I can provide all types of care except for having them at my apartment due to apartment rules. On weekdays, I am usually available after 5pm. Thursdays and Fridays are more flexible though. Around holidays or when we have three day weekends, I usually stay in town (greater Seattle area) so I am available to provide all types of pet care except for having them in my apartment. When caring for pets in your home, I always treat both the pet and the home with the utmost respect. I follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any specific routines the pet is used to. I aim to maintain the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and safe. I also keep the home clean—cleaning up after the pet, washing bowls, and tidying up any areas we use.
