I’ve cared for animals most of my life. I grew up with a dog who is now 18 years old, so I’m very familiar with the patience and consistency required to care for pets through every stage of life, including senior care. A few years ago an orange stray cat showed up at my door and decided to stay. Since then I’ve become very much a cat person as well. Caring for her taught me a lot about earning an animal’s trust and working with different personalities, especially with independent or cautious cats. I also enjoy interacting with pets beyond basic care. I’ve trained my cat to do several tricks and she even uses communication buttons, which has been a fun way to engage her mentally and build a strong bond. Overall, I’m attentive, patient, and very observant of animal behavior. I try to understand each pet’s personality and routine so they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, walks, and any specific habits your pet has. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and body language so I can respond appropriately, especially with shy or anxious animals. I also make sure doors, gates, and food storage are secure and that the home is left clean and tidy after each visit. I provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well. My goal is to make sure pets are comfortable, well cared for, and stress-free while their owners are away.

Yiying was amazing! I really appreciated that she took the time to do a meet and greet beforehand, and she immediately made both me and my cat, Ari, feel comfortable. Ari warmed up to her so quickly, which was really reassuring and made me feel so much better about being away. She checked in on Ari every day and was so sweet and attentive with her. She spent time playing with her and keeping her company, paid attention to how she was doing, and was really thoughtful about her food and usual routine. She was also incredibly responsive and sent lots of pictures and videos, which I genuinely looked forward to and which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I could tell Ari was really comfortable with her and being very well cared for. I’m so glad I found Yiying, and I’d love to have her take care of Ari again!
We had a great experience with Yiying! She took the time to do a meet-and-greet beforehand, which made me feel really comfortable leaving my dog in her care. She was punctual, attentive, and did a great job with his walk, feeding, and making sure he had fresh water. I really appreciated how caring and responsible she was—would definitely book with her again when needed!

Schedule
I work in tech and have a relatively flexible schedule, which allows me to plan pet visits throughout the day. Because my work is not strictly tied to a fixed schedule, I’m usually able to accommodate morning, midday, or evening visits depending on what a pet needs. I’m generally available on weekdays and weekends for drop-ins or walks, and I try to keep my schedule manageable so I can give each pet proper attention rather than rushing between visits.

Care instructions (feeding schedule, where you keep the food and treats, do I need to scoop the litter and where the trash can is, walk routine, medications if any, favorite toys, and anything else I should know). 2. Instructions for accessing your home (key, lockbox, door code, concierge, etc.). 3. How flexible is the visit time. 4. Your Wi-Fi name and password, if possible. Cell service can be spotty in some buildings, so having Wi-Fi helps me send you updates and photos.
