“Jessi has been such a blessing. When I had to pause services for about a month due to an injury, she was incredibly patient, understanding, and supportive. She reassured me that she’d be available whenever I was ready to return to work, which gave me so much peace of mind. She treats my pup with so much love, and I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, and trustworthy.”

“Ryan’s awesome and got Lu out of the house asap for us! Luna loves her daily walks and I’ve been out of commission for a bit so it was so nice to trust Ryan to deliver on giving her the best time!! Thanks Ryan it means a lot to us.”

“Alexis has been such a huge help and was able to take care of a second dog we were caring for in addition to our dog. She is patient and flexible. We are grateful!”

“Justin does a great job walking our two Labrador Retrievers. He is responsive, on time, and flexible - everything I was looking for in someone to walk them consistently! We will continue to use him !”

About: James and I started pet sitting and traveling in 2018, and it has been a fabulous adventure. We enjoy taking care of all animals. We love walking the dogs to get our steps in and cats with their uniqueness. We believe staying home with them until they get settled in is very important. We won’t leave them home alone, as they are happier when we’re around. Lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. We have lived in Seward Park since 2003 in a home with a fenced yard about a mile from the park. It is a great dog walking neighborhood. We enjoy puppies and senior dogs. We are also good medicine givers. Call or text us. We are a Retired married couple who throughly enjoy dogs/cats. We have been International pet sitters since 2018, and we have found that bonding is the most important thing about boarding a new animal. Creating a trust and being there with them so they don’t feel alone. Having fun activities to do that they enjoy is imperative. Many times it’s walking and “getting a smell” of their new environment. We have many popular walking neighborhood loops and Seward Park is always a hit. We enjoy them and they enjoy us. We make it a priority to listen to their individual language and gain their trust. Our home has screened windows and lots of light. We have safe hiding places, a comfy bed, and are home a lot, which they really like. Food is very important and we feed them as requested. We listen to what our pet owners have to say about their animals, as everyone is different. Please let us know anything else that makes them feel comfortable.
“Hi I just wanted to a minute and talk about how amazing Heidi is! Heidi is so great with Bruno, I've seen such a change in him since she's been in his life. When I get home and take him out he's happier and more relaxed than before. With my partner's and my schedules being so different Heidi has helped us to not worry about Bruno being anxious waiting for us to go outside. His quality of life has gone up and it shows! We love having Heidi we're very grateful at how skilled she is with Bruno, she's so amazing😁❤️”

About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, happy, and safe while their owners are away. My background includes walking, feeding, basic obedience reinforcement, and giving medications when needed. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable approach and genuine love for animals. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and personality, so they feel relaxed and cared for just like they would at home. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or quiet company, I make sure every visit leaves tails wagging and owners worry-free. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so my dog gets more than enough time to play and relax with me. He would love more company, too! I always follow their usual routine to keep things consistent and stress-free. I make sure feeding times, walks, and play sessions match what they’re used to, and I give plenty of attention and affection so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I also keep their space clean, send updates and photos, and pay close attention to any changes in behavior or appetite. If I’m hosting in my home, pets have a calm, safe environment with space to relax and play. I keep fresh water available at all times, maintain regular potty breaks, and offer daily walks or playtime based on their energy level. My goal is to make every pet feel secure, loved, and part of the family while in my care.
“Brenda was wonderful with our nervous dog. He is loud and unsure about strangers, but immediately warmed up to Brenda. She always sends us great photos and plenty of updates, even on a short walk!”

“Lyn has walked my senior large breed dog, Olive, several times. Lyn is reliable, communicates well, and most importantly, always takes great care of Olive! I would love for her to continue walking Olive.”
About: Hi! I’ve been a passionate dog lover and caregiver since I was 18. Beyond walks and cuddles, I’m deeply interested in dog training and hold certificates in clicker training and canine freestyle from the Karen Pryor Academy. For six years, I cared for a family’s pack, including a senior pup with multiple health issues and another with a heart condition. I’m very comfortable administering medications and providing thoughtful, specialized care. I’m especially experienced with short-nosed breeds like Boston Terriers, pugs, and bulldogs as well as working breeds like German Shepherds. Each breed has its own quirks and charms, and I love them all! I also work full time as a bartender, but I’m happy to create a schedule that fits you and your pet’s needs: whether that’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. Important: I do not use or support e-collars, prong collars, or any punishment-based training methods. I am fully committed to positive reinforcement, fear-free care, and your dog’s emotional wellbeing. Above all, your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort come first. From playful enrichment to gentle senior care, I’m here to keep your pup feeling loved, relaxed, and right at home. I’m a full-time bartender and typically work 4–5 evening or night shifts each week. That means my days are mostly free and flexible: perfect for walks, playtime, training sessions, or drop-ins. Because of my schedule, I can often give your pup extra company and enrichment during the daytime hours when many owners are away. I’m also happy to work out a routine that fits your dog’s needs, so they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for even when I’m at work in the evenings. I will adjust my care to follow the rules and structure you already have for your pet and your home. It’s essential that you know you can trust me to respect your space, your routines, and your dog’s needs. My goal is always to keep your pet feeling safe, happy, and comfortable just like you would.

About: Hi! I’m Ariana, a lifelong animal lover and an adventure buddy. I grew up with a husky (so I’m very comfortable with high-energy personalities 😄) and have been pet sitting and fostering on and off for the past 10 years. I’ve worked with reactive dogs and scared or anxious cats, so I’m especially mindful about creating calm, safe environments and meeting animals where they’re at. These days, I live with my two fluffy feline friends, Milo and Izzy, who keep life cozy and entertaining. I love being outside and am always happy to take dogs on long walks, hikes, or even runs (just let me know what your pup enjoys!). I’m currently in a career transition and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can be available throughout weekdays and weekends. I’m attentive to changes in behavior or appetite and will keep you updated with thoughtful notes and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away. Whether your pet needs play, structure, or just a calm companion, I’d love to help take care of them 💛 I work from home and am in a career transition, so I am very flexible throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. Safety and trust are really important to me, especially knowing how unique each pet’s needs can be. I always follow your care instructions closely so your pet can stay as comfortable and consistent as possible.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for friends’ and family’s pets, from energetic puppies to older dogs who need a little extra care, loving, and time. Reliable, attentive care with a flexible schedule. My dogs are walked daily, either on trails or at the (off-leash) park and your pup can be part of the adventure too. Your pup will be cared for in a calm, low-stress environment! I have two gentle, friendly dogs, and a large crate is available upon request for pups who prefer their own quiet space.
“There aren’t enough awesome things to say about Alex and her service! She treats our dog like her own and her care for his well-being is so evident! We especially look forward to her detailed post-walk reports and photos - they truly brighten our day and we can tell she gets our furry family member’s personality/-isms! TY ALEX!”

“Adam was wonderful with our athletic two-year-old Golden Retriever! Our pup came back from his walk happy, relaxed, and wagging his tail. We’ll be rebooking as soon as we can. ?”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 5+ years - everything from bathing, training, walking and vet appointments. I truly have a special place in my heart for animals, and would love to meet your pet. I work part-time, so my schedule is super flexible. My only schedule restrictions are Thursday - Saturday late afternoons. I’m open for walking, drop-in visits and overnight stays. I pay a lot of attention to detailed instructions and genuinely will love to hang out with your pet! Looking forward to meeting you and your furry friend.
Leschi dog parents share their Rover experiences
We just finished our first week of having Elise walk our dog Ruby 3 times a week. Elise has been great! Clear communication and prompt arrival. She asked his questions at our meet and greet to get to know Ruby. And has been easy to work with as we adjust to both our schedules weekly. She brings home a pup ready to chill. Looking forward to more!

Haleigh was so great with Mimi while I was out of town. I was a bit nervous as this was my first time letting someone care for Mimi while i was away but Mimi was so happy! Mimi seemed to really enjoy the walks and was very relaxed and happy after her walks. Haleigh also made sure Mimi had ample food and water every time she dropped off and picked up Mimi. I would def recommend her to take care of your pup! She also took the sweetest Polaroid of Mimi and left it here when I got back. Thank you so much!

Beth was great! I have a high energy husky that gets easily distracted. I could tell during our meet and great that he really liked her! She was patient, friendly, and great at communicating. I will definitely plan to work with Beth again, 10/10 would recommend!
