About: I’ve owned dogs since before I was born, and understand the complexity of taking care of all ages of dogs. While I no longer have any dogs in the home, I can still use my wealth of knowledge to help your pet in anyway I can. Additionally I enjoy running in my free time and would be happy to take your dog along if you so choose! I’m a college student home for summer, giving me lots of unused free time and the ability to match your schedule in whatever way needed. My household having dogs in it for quite a while is built around keeping a pet happy and safe. With a balcony outside for dogs to watch the world and relax, and pads on the stairs to ensure no slipping. I’m hands on when it comes to dog care, making sure that play time is done often and safely.

About: I’ve helped lots of family and friends care for their dogs. Currently i have one dog and 3 cats that my roommates and I all care for. I have a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) which helped me gain a lot of understanding for how modeling positive behaviors can pay off in all parts of life. I’m currently working part time until 2pm. On weekdays anytime after 2:15pm will be available as well as the majority of weekends. I’m very flexible and willing to help however I can. I have 4 pets at home and adding someone new into the mix can be stressful so I cannot host. However, I can pick up and play or take for walks.

About: I love pretty much all dogs and enjoy taking them on adventures! I live near lots of beloved spots, including those accessible to dogs with special needs. Whether your beloved prefers intense urban hikes and swims or tender home care and slow movement, I’ve got them taken care of. My heart is especially drawn to the ones who need special care and attunement, such as seniors, disabled dogs, and ornery small ones. My own little angel (recently passed) was very anxiously attached, required medication administration 3-4 times a day, did not enjoy being pet due to pain, and needed to be carried a lot -- but still enjoyed outdoor adventures and had his own ways of showing love. I am patient with dogs that take time to warm up or who have special needs. I have experience with dogs who require diapering, manual bladder and bowel expression due to paralysis, assistive devices, subcutaneous medication administration, and other needs, as well as those with some behavioral issues. I am very comfortable with elderly creatures. Please include information about your animal and their needs in your message and plan for a meet-and-greet. I require either a drop-in visit or a walk before accepting a boarding request for a new client. Thank you! I am a writer and artist who primarily works from home, although I take occasional shifts at a store where I work and some community spaces I support. I enjoy a lot of flexibility and can accommodate most needs with sufficient advance notice. When boarding or watching dogs in the home, I typically take long walks (1 hour) once a day, with shorter walks as needed. I love to take dogs on adventures to area parks, and am familiar with which areas are best for reactive dogs or dogs who use assistive devices. I live in a quiet part of the Mt. Baker neighborhood with lots of parks and trails nearby. I have a lot of experience house-sitting and watching dogs in other people's spaces as well.

About: James and I started pet sitting and traveling in 2018, and it has been a fabulous adventure. We enjoy taking care of all animals. We love walking the dogs to get our steps in and cats with their uniqueness. We believe staying home with them until they get settled in is very important. We won’t leave them home alone, as they are happier when we’re around. Lots of walks, play time, and snuggles. We have lived in Seward Park since 2003 in a home with a fenced yard about a mile from the park. It is a great dog walking neighborhood. We enjoy puppies and senior dogs. We are also good medicine givers. Call or text us. We are a Retired married couple who throughly enjoy dogs/cats. We have been International pet sitters since 2018, and we have found that bonding is the most important thing about boarding a new animal. Creating a trust and being there with them so they don’t feel alone. Having fun activities to do that they enjoy is imperative. Many times it’s walking and “getting a smell” of their new environment. We have many popular walking neighborhood loops and Seward Park is always a hit. We enjoy them and they enjoy us. We make it a priority to listen to their individual language and gain their trust. Our home has screened windows and lots of light. We have safe hiding places, a comfy bed, and are home a lot, which they really like. Food is very important and we feed them as requested. We listen to what our pet owners have to say about their animals, as everyone is different. Please let us know anything else that makes them feel comfortable.

About: Been a pet owner in some form since age 7, worked at a dog day care in Edmonds facility for 5 years and I am the go-to for all my friends and family for pet care when they are away. I'm very good at reading cats and dogs, adore spending time with them and love the exercise that comes with walks. I am currently a student taking night classes, I have open availability all week especially in the daytime but am open to night walks that work with my school schedule! Currently only have class Monday and Wednesday starting at 6pm. I have dog and cat sat in the past for various neighbors and friends, always respectful will spend as little or as much time as the home as you want!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since adopting my childhood best friend, Lady (like Lady and the Tramp), when I was 10! For the last two years, I’ve boarded a dog for periods of 5 days or longer. I love dogs and I think they love me too, and I’d love to walk or take care of yours! While some mornings work for me, I’m most available throughout the afternoon and evening. I am a lover of all animals. As such, I am very patient and will care for your pet as my own. About: I have taken care of and connected naturally with dogs (and several types of animals) my entire life. Every time I even pass a dog on a lonely day I feel I have passed a best friend and all will be well. I just think they are one of the biggest gifts to humanity. I have a few fields in working with dogs in the past, besides my own who recently passed away in 2023. Speaking of her, I gave her the best life I knew to. We did everything together. We moved to around nine cities across the U.S. together. She lived a very rich life—after I rescued her. I have been a dog musher assistant in a past life, a vet tech intern, and started my working life in high school in a pet shop where I learned a lot about the health of different breeds. On a daily basis I track rescues for dogs in the hardest parts for them to survive in in our country and others, and try endlessly to advocate for them. …As much as they love us, why would I not want to help back? I have full time entry work in finance, but since I have lost my girl, I am in need of a hustle off the clock that lets me keep putting my love for these babies somewhere. Also, if you have a cat or other animals, know I’m originally from the country in Alabama and come from a family of both cat, dog and all animal lovers. I hope to meet your little love bugs soon. -Sarah Flexible currently—My company has me as an “on-call” until they can find a permanent space. Evenings might be best long-term. Company shifts are 9 hours. First off, anything they can ingest which might be harmful needs to be out of their reach. Good sleep, exercise, diet and quality time essential. I will need to see all dogs’ shots are up to date before services so as to not pass any diseases to other dogs, fyi.
