About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I make it my mission to treat each one like family. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll provide the personalized attention and care they deserve. I’m extremely responsible and follow instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding schedules, specific walking routes, or administering medications. I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency, so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. Your dog’s happiness is my top priority, and I’m committed to making sure they feel secure and loved while you’re away. I currently work from home, which allows me to be flexible with my schedule. I’m generally available after 3:30 PM on weekdays and can accommodate requests during that time. On weekends, I have open availability and am happy to adjust to your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I provide a secure, attentive environment where your pet is never left unsupervised during visits or walks. I closely follow your care instructions—whether it’s leash preferences, feeding guidelines, or home routines—to ensure consistency and comfort. I’m also alert to any signs of stress or health issues and will always keep you informed. You can trust that your pet is in loving, responsible hands every step of the way.
“Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

“Mandy really gave me a sense of peace and security while I was away on vacation as she took excellent care of my dog on lunchtime walks and gave great reports. She was always considerate and responsive, and I will absolutely be using her services again in the future!”

“Lee took such great care of my dog! I'm so grateful for her great care, communication, and fabulous pictures! Looking forward to working with her again in the future.”

“10/10 — We were so worried about our reactive old lady pit bull finding a walker who understood her needs, and we’re SO thankful we found Andy. Sadly, we’re moving across the country, but we would’ve used their services forever if we could have. We did walks and over nights. Andy was always kind, communicative and sweet to Pearl. We cannot thank you enough, and we’re so happy Pearl had such a nice friend. Thank you, Andy!”

“Hi I just wanted to a minute and talk about how amazing Heidi is! Heidi is so great with Bruno, I've seen such a change in him since she's been in his life. When I get home and take him out he's happier and more relaxed than before. With my partner's and my schedules being so different Heidi has helped us to not worry about Bruno being anxious waiting for us to go outside. His quality of life has gone up and it shows! We love having Heidi we're very grateful at how skilled she is with Bruno, she's so amazing😁❤️”

About: I’ve had dogs when I was growing up so I am familiar with puppies. I also helped care for multiple dogs for friends and family. I am familiar with administrating medicine, pill and oral syringes. I ensure it is easy and stress free for your fur baby. I love to be outdoors and get my steps so why not have a buddy to tag along! I’ve cared for seniors and always ensure ways for them to remain active whether physically or mentally. I am here not just to be a sitter, but a friend :)! I make it my mission to provide as much time, if not all my time, to your babies. I do have a fluctuating schedule, therefore, I require a couple days in advance for a booking. I do make sure that your pet comes to me, comfortably, first. I want to become a friend to them, not just a sitter who comes in and just leaves as soon as a task is finished. I ensure your home is tidy after play time, if in the home, and/or after meals, etc. I treat your home and fur baby as if it were my own, I understand the importance of feeling secure in allowing a “stranger” into your home and around your baby.
“Ryan’s awesome and got Lu out of the house asap for us! Luna loves her daily walks and I’ve been out of commission for a bit so it was so nice to trust Ryan to deliver on giving her the best time!! Thanks Ryan it means a lot to us.”

About: I’ve watched paralyzed dogs, trained my own rescue Rottweiler, cared for injured animals recovering from surgery, and built trust through social issues like anxiety, reactivity and biting. I love dogs and believe any behavioral issues are signs of stress or bad treatment. “There are no bad dogs, only bad humans.” A dog needs to build up trust and structure to be their best selves. And I know how hard it is to find a dog sitter trained in behavioral issues. That’s why I’m offering services. I can read body language, understand appeasement behaviors, signs of stress, and know how to work with your dog on training routines. If you rescued an animal, or haven’t given up on one that has issues, you deserve a sitter who can see their potential too. I work from home with flexible hours, so I do this work on the side. I’m in grad school Monday and Thursday nights, but can walk, feed, and play with your pets throughout the day. I will keep my schedule updated so you can reliably book with me. Animals I board must be crate trained. My house has two levels, so animals are kept separate and safe with care throughout the day. My dog stays upstairs while boarded animals are in a temperature controlled first level bedroom. They will not interact. This does mean your animal will sleep alone in a bedroom they’re not familiar with, so please take that into account. Also, I live near a fire truck route in North Beacon Hill so there will be traffic noise.
About: I grew up on a ranch where we had ~20 horses, 6 dogs, and a spectrum of other pets as well. I did competitive dog shows as a kid (AKC and 4-H), and my family rescues and trains abandoned horses. In addition to the training experience, I have lots of veterinary medicine experience. I also love the outdoors, and would love to take your pup for a hike if they would like it! I have a very friendly and loving Poodle named Mae who puts up with anything and would LOVES to help entertain new friends, whether by playing in my fenced in yard, or just by cuddling on the couch. When I’m sitting I work entirely or mostly from home (just the occasional hour to two meeting elsewhere if anything). I care for my own pup deeply, and I structure most of my day around her (and your dog!) I have a fully fenced in yard with a collection of toys/balls that’s great for play time! My dog is my family, so she and any other dogs are allowed on the couch and in bed (if you want off-furniture enforced to avoid undoing training, I can also do that.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for all sizes, from tiny Pugs to large Huskies! Back home in California, my family pets included a Pug/Bulldog mix, a Pekingese, and two energetic Huskies, so I know exactly how to handle different breeds, tempers, and energy levels. I've had all of my dogs since they were puppies and they've grown up with me, so I have experience taking care of both younger and more senior dogs. Since moving, I really miss having dogs around and would love to look after yours during my free time. I love going on long walks and will make sure your pet’s unique routine and needs are fully taken care of! I currently work remotely in tech, so aside from any daily meetings I have, my schedule is pretty flexible and I'm able to care for pets around the clock. I live in a three-story townhome with two roommates and our own fenced yard in a nice residential area with plenty of walking space. My home doesn’t have any hazardous or dangerous things for pets and I’ll ensure they’re safe at all times! If I'm taking care of a pet in someone else's home, I like to ask specific care instructions and what I'm allowed and not allowed to do since it varies from owner to owner. I'm very clean and will make sure to always keep the house tidy for myself and pets.
“Jennifer is wonderful! She took our pup on walks and to the dog park when she sensed she needed some time to run around :) really appreciate her communicativeness!”

About: I have watched a lot of my families dogs while they are away. That includes a 4 year old mini poodle, a home with 3 golden doodles and a Pomeranian, and more. My dog growing up had allergies and I administered medicine to her daily, so that is something I am capable of. I have a cat myself. Also, I raised farm animals my whole life so I am pretty comfortable around all animals and behaviors. I currently teach private swim lessons and babysit off and on during the week but other than that I am home with my own animals often. I am extremely flexible! I have a 4 year old cat, and a 4 year old dog. The cat is super chill and playful and the dog is medium sized and sleeps ALL day, they both love other animals. I have friends in and out who love loving on animals as well. My back yard isn’t much, fenced and small, good for potty breaks but I often take my own dog to the dog park down the road to blow off some steam!
About: Hello! My name is Theo U. I am an experienced caretaker of many kinds of pets, but most of my experience is with dogs of many breeds. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, fish, rats, hamsters, and snakes. I currently have three rats of my own at home! I also volunteered at a doggie daycare for a summer, so I am used to caring for many animals at once if needed. I'm also experienced in caring for the animals listed above both in my home and in the homes of friends and neighbors. I am always punctual, hardworking, and dedicated to caring for your pet. I love all types of animals and am excited to meet and care for yours! I just finished my Master's degree and am in the waiting period before getting a job, so I am free most of the time to care for pets. It’s very important to me that pets are shown compassion and dedicated care. Any instructions given will be followed closely, and I am a very affectionate pet caretaker and I enjoy being around the pet as much as possible if that’s what the pet likes. I’m very attentive to signals from pets and keep close watch on behavior and mood.

About: I’ve taken care of a small senior dog, big energetic doodle, and a feisty Pomeranian mix. I am very patient and have been able to teach tricks before. I am currently working part-time but the shifts are short and few. This makes me very flexible for your needs. I am happy to accommodate a regular schedule if needed! I am constantly keeping an eye on the pet. If they seem like they need to use the bathroom, I will be paying attention. If they look like they want to play then I will be paying attention. I will keep them both healthy and entertained!

About: I bred black and chocolate labrador retrievers growing up in Seattle, and trained dogs until I was 15 years old. I started Rover when I lived in Tacoma during graduate school and really enjoyed the time I got to spend with all the dogs. I recently reactivated my account in 2026 since I have weekends and Tuesdays off and would love the opportunity to help you and your dog(s)! If you would like your dog to get outside for walks, run or swim, send me an message! Cheers!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Baker
Mead did a fantastic job. She easily won over my 5 year old pittie mix and took really good care of her on walks. She was very knowledgeable about dog handling and behavior. She even started to teach my pup a new trick (spin)! Mead was also good with my elderly cat, who warmed up to her quickly. All-around wonderful experience. Thanks, Mead!

Nikki has sat for our dogs many times. She is always very responsible and answers inquiries promptly. She is very warm and friendly. She interacts appropriately with our dogs. One of our dogs has dementia and she gives her medications and takes care of her special needs. We trust her completely with our dogs.

Michael did a great job taking care of my dog Kit while I was across the country. I had never used a service like Rover before, and was nervous initially, but after a couple days I was completely comfortable, and would absolutely utilize Michael’s services when I’m out of the country in the future!
