Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I provide a secure, attentive environment where your pet is never left unsupervised during visits or walks. I closely follow your care instructions—whether it’s leash preferences, feeding guidelines, or home routines—to ensure consistency and comfort. About: I’ve owned dogs since before I was born, and understand the complexity of taking care of all ages of dogs. While I no longer have any dogs in the home, I can still use my wealth of knowledge to help your pet in anyway I can. Additionally I enjoy running in my free time and would be happy to take your dog along if you so choose! I’m a college student home for summer, giving me lots of unused free time and the ability to match your schedule in whatever way needed. My household having dogs in it for quite a while is built around keeping a pet happy and safe. With a balcony outside for dogs to watch the world and relax, and pads on the stairs to ensure no slipping. I’m hands on when it comes to dog care, making sure that play time is done often and safely.

About: I’ve watched paralyzed dogs, trained my own rescue Rottweiler, cared for injured animals recovering from surgery, and built trust through social issues like anxiety, reactivity and biting. I love dogs and believe any behavioral issues are signs of stress or bad treatment. “There are no bad dogs, only bad humans.” A dog needs to build up trust and structure to be their best selves. And I know how hard it is to find a dog sitter trained in behavioral issues. That’s why I’m offering services. I can read body language, understand appeasement behaviors, signs of stress, and know how to work with your dog on training routines. If you rescued an animal, or haven’t given up on one that has issues, you deserve a sitter who can see their potential too. I work from home with flexible hours, so I do this work on the side. I’m in grad school Monday and Thursday nights, but can walk, feed, and play with your pets throughout the day. I will keep my schedule updated so you can reliably book with me. Animals I board must be crate trained. My house has two levels, so animals are kept separate and safe with care throughout the day. My dog stays upstairs while boarded animals are in a temperature controlled first level bedroom. They will not interact. This does mean your animal will sleep alone in a bedroom they’re not familiar with, so please take that into account. Also, I live near a fire truck route in North Beacon Hill so there will be traffic noise.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for the same family for the past 5 years as their senior dog passed away and welcomed home a new puppy. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds and have plenty of experience with puppies and have no problem reinforcing any type of training done at home to keep things consistent. Bottom line, I love being with animals and making sure they’re well loved and taken care of while their family is away <3 I have a pretty flexible schedule right now! I’m currently working remotely, but still have time for weeknight stays, drop by visits, walks and full care on the weekends. I don’t plan on watching any pets at my home as it’s not fenced, but I always always keep a close eye on pets when they’re at home or if I’m taking them out for a walk. I’m also comfortable giving medication to senior pets with health needs (both of mine are senior now 😭), and I treat every dog or cat in my care with the same patience and love I give my own. Both of my pets have special needs and quirks as well (my pup likes to bark at the tv!), so I’m happy to adhere to your precise instructions when caring for yours. My schedule is completely open right now so I have plenty of time to look after your pets. I would be able to give them all the attention they need throughout the day. I’m typically just on my computer all day anyway. If I’m caring for your pet in our home, rest assured we have a fully fenced yard. We also have a mother in law apartment where I would do pet boarding - it’s completely separate space from the main part of the house, so your pet can have all the privacy they need.

About: I’m the person who stops mid-sidewalk to crouch down and say hello to every dog I come across! I was fortunate enough to grow up with dogs, but over time I’ve learned that loving them and understanding them are two very different things. Part of that comes from my sweet girl, Remy, an aussie/border collie mix who's been with me since she was ten weeks old. We are truly the best adventure duo. We're outside constantly: parks, forest walks, swimming, camping (but swimming is her favorite). She's extremely well trained, with a calm, shy demeanor and near perfect recall. I don't say this to brag (maybe a little) but to point out that even now, at ten years old, we’re still learning together. That process taught me that knowing a dog isn’t about affection alone. It’s about paying attention. I bring that same mindset to every one of my friend's and family's dogs that I care for. Each one has their own logic and their own way of moving through the world. Fisher, a golden, craves attention, so when she’s with me we build that into the day. She even has a standing date at a local cider spot. Oakley lives for the water, so that’s where we go. And then there are the subtleties, like how Fisher will dodge you if you walk toward her mid-play, but will come straight to you if you ask for a touch. These aren’t things you pick up from a guidebook. They come from watching closely and adjusting. My goal is always the same. Figure out what makes each dog feel safe, engaged, and understood, and meet them there. There’s almost always someone home. My partner works remotely full-time, and I work from home usually 3 days a week, so your dog gets real company instead of long stretches alone if we're boarding or doing a daycare scenario. Our days have a natural rhythm. Mornings and evenings are when we’re most active, with walks, longer play sessions, and time outside (unless it's the weekend). During the day, dogs can settle, move between spaces, or engage depending on what they need. I offer drop-ins, longer walks, extended play time like hikes, and boarding. I adjust based on each dog’s energy and routine. We live on the ground floor with a fully enclosed private patio (not a yard). Dogs can move freely between inside and out through a mesh door, and I’m often outside working in warmer months. It’s a calm, private, low-stress environment. I have a high-energy dog, so we are ALWAYS outside on walks, at the park, hiking etc. despite not having a proper yard. Remy is an easy housemate. She’s well-trained, focused, and usually more interested in her ball than new arrivals. She can be protective of her toys, which I manage proactively to keep things smooth, and I've never had issues with any other dogs. For boarding, I take dogs up to about 45 lbs to keep the space balanced. Walks and hikes are open to dogs of any size.

About: I love pretty much all dogs and enjoy taking them on adventures! I live near lots of beloved spots, including those accessible to dogs with special needs. Whether your beloved prefers intense urban hikes and swims or tender home care and slow movement, I’ve got them taken care of. I enjoy a lot of flexibility and can accommodate most needs with sufficient advance notice. When boarding or watching dogs in the home, I typically take long walks (1 hour) once a day, with shorter walks as needed. I love to take dogs on adventures to area parks, and am familiar with which areas are best for reactive dogs or dogs who use assistive devices. I live in a quiet part of the Mt.
