About: I’ve had dogs when I was growing up so I am familiar with puppies. I also helped care for multiple dogs for friends and family. I am familiar with administrating medicine, pill and oral syringes. I ensure it is easy and stress free for your fur baby. I love to be outdoors and get my steps so why not have a buddy to tag along! I’ve cared for seniors and always ensure ways for them to remain active whether physically or mentally. I am here not just to be a sitter, but a friend :)! I make it my mission to provide as much time, if not all my time, to your babies. I do have a fluctuating schedule, therefore, I require a couple days in advance for a booking. I do make sure that your pet comes to me, comfortably, first. I want to become a friend to them, not just a sitter who comes in and just leaves as soon as a task is finished. I ensure your home is tidy after play time, if in the home, and/or after meals, etc. I treat your home and fur baby as if it were my own, I understand the importance of feeling secure in allowing a “stranger” into your home and around your baby.

About: I have recently lost my 12 year old English bulldog. While I’m not ready for another companion, I am ready to give love to friendly pets. I have experience with special needs dogs, large breeds, and dogs with special medication needs. I am comfortable with dog-aggressive pets as well. I work full time but have a flexible schedule and often work from home. I am available to care for your pet in your home, and mine as well. Looking forward to meeting your pets! I have flexibility and with proper notice I can accommodate most scheduling needs. I have reliable transportation and often work from home. I am open to discussing your pets needs! I have a clean and pet safe home where your pets are welcome to get on the furniture if they are allowed. I will be happy to use a crate if your animals prefer it, but they are also welcome to roam the house if they won’t destroy furniture. I care for animals as if they were my own, and they will be spoiled when spending time with me.

About: My experience includes fostering senior dogs with special needs, raising and training our own standard poodle, walking a variety of dogs with unique traits and proclivities. During house sits I have a quiet routine and would spend most of my time sitting with your pet doing my quiet activities aside from playtime and long walks. I enjoy exploring new trails and am happy to keep to your pet’s familiar routines too. I am experienced in delivering medications and special diets at home. I leave your home cleaner than I found it, practicing ‘leave no trace’. I currently focus on pursuing interests via reading, writing, cooking, painting, and creating botanical perfumes and essential oil blends for friends and family. Playing with my 4 leggeds at home and caring for your beloved pets balances exercise and playful engagement with my solo activities. I am reliable, communicate with words and photos, and will get to know your pet very well. I like to focus on your pets’ needs and spread my time around their care.

About: I grew up on a ranch where we had ~20 horses, 6 dogs, and a spectrum of other pets as well. I did competitive dog shows as a kid (AKC and 4-H), and my family rescues and trains abandoned horses. In addition to the training experience, I have lots of veterinary medicine experience. I also love the outdoors, and would love to take your pup for a hike if they would like it! I have a very friendly and loving Poodle named Mae who puts up with anything and would LOVES to help entertain new friends, whether by playing in my fenced in yard, or just by cuddling on the couch. When I’m sitting I work entirely or mostly from home (just the occasional hour to two meeting elsewhere if anything). I care for my own pup deeply, and I structure most of my day around her (and your dog!) I have a fully fenced in yard with a collection of toys/balls that’s great for play time! My dog is my family, so she and any other dogs are allowed on the couch and in bed (if you want off-furniture enforced to avoid undoing training, I can also do that.

About: I have watched dogs on vacation for many of my graduate school committee members while they are on vacation and have always loved caring for their dogs and giving them piece of mind that their pets are safe and loved with me. I am also a biologist who knows a good deal about animals. My husband is a professional K9 trainer in the navy, so your dog will be in loving and knowledgeable care. I am very active on a daily basis so your pup would be ensured lots of exercise. I am currently finishing my thesis for my master's in biology, which consists of being paid to write my thesis from home, so I will have plenty of time to stay and watch your pups while I do so.

About: I’ve initially started taking care of pets in my community after losing my lovely dog, Layla, to cancer. Doing so was healing in ways that I could not have imagined!! I am so excited to continue this journey of love, support and healing. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I'm currently working from home, which allows me plenty of time to spend with the pets! I'm usually available for daycare & boarding while working, with a few exceptions. I follow the instructions form the caregiver and also listen to what each pet is telling me. I provide a calm yet playful attitude so that everyone feels comfortable.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have experience caring for all sizes, from tiny Pugs to large Huskies! Back home in California, my family pets included a Pug/Bulldog mix, a Pekingese, and two energetic Huskies, so I know exactly how to handle different breeds, tempers, and energy levels. I've had all of my dogs since they were puppies and they've grown up with me, so I have experience taking care of both younger and more senior dogs. Since moving, I really miss having dogs around and would love to look after yours during my free time. I love going on long walks and will make sure your pet’s unique routine and needs are fully taken care of! I currently work remotely in tech, so aside from any daily meetings I have, my schedule is pretty flexible and I'm able to care for pets around the clock. I live in a three-story townhome with two roommates and our own fenced yard in a nice residential area with plenty of walking space. My home doesn’t have any hazardous or dangerous things for pets and I’ll ensure they’re safe at all times! If I'm taking care of a pet in someone else's home, I like to ask specific care instructions and what I'm allowed and not allowed to do since it varies from owner to owner. I'm very clean and will make sure to always keep the house tidy for myself and pets.

About: Alex and I love dogs and have been sitting on rover for over 4 years. We only watch one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family. We don’t have any dogs of our own right now but love to take care of yours. In addition to sitting on rover, we have lived with and taken care of many dogs including a family member’s elderly husky whom we cared for in the last four years of his life. We also helped raised another family member’s second puppy in the first year of his life and raised a shih-tzu once upon a time. We have experience working with dogs that have many types of personalities and dogs who have special needs or take medication. We both work from home everyday and have flexibility in our schedules. We can easily take care of your pup and give them lots of love. We are not home 100% of the time so it’s important that your pup can be left alone for 1-3 hours. We allow dogs on the couch and bed and don’t mind keeping them off furniture if that’s your preference. We can walk them 2-3x/day, 10-60 mins per walk depending on your dog’s needs and energy levels.

About: I have cared for dogs young and old, big and small, sleepy and energetic, fluffy and derpy. I'd love to hang with your pup. I spent all of 2025 using pet sitting to travel around the country and internationally, caring for 9 dogs, 14 cats, and one rabbit. I have been working consistently as a pet sitter since returning. I have been a dog lover ever since I first held my baby pug dog-niece, Beans, in my cupped hands. Since then, I've cared for Beans frequently, as well as for the pets of other friends and neighbors. I'm currently doing a smattering of gig and freelance work, including giving ghost tours, hosting music bingo, and trying to finish my novel. This leaves me with plenty of time to give your pet all the cuddles, pets, and walks they deserve. When pet sitting, I care for any client's home with care and respect. I do my best to follow the pet's routines to keep them as comfortable as possible. I strive to leave each home at least as clean as I found it.
