“Katie went above and beyond to help our little dog when he had unexpected medical problem during our trip. She took into the vet and was very communicative about his status. She is a very experience pet sitter and can handle any emergencies your pet may have”

“Joe is friendly, professional and trustworthy. I would definitely hire him again for any future drop-ins for my elderly dog. He was very responsive and flexible with the scheduling which I ended up needing since my plans got wonky.”

About: I have grown up taking care of animals including cats, dogs, birds, and the smaller friends, and have looked after pets in my community for over 2 decades, including dog and cat sitting. I have taken care of newborn kittens that needed constant care, puppies with endless energy, and elderly dogs and cats that require medicine administered and careful play. I am a freelance web designer and developer with my own business, so I am able to make my own schedule, work wherever, and make time for walks and play with cute pets! I am happy to follow instructions to make sure your home and pet are cared for how you prefer. I pay attention to details and am extra cautious about locking doors and windows, making sure water is refreshed, and always have eyes on the pets before leaving.
“Shanna took amazing care of our two cats and sent us some great photos along with a note with every check in. It was great to see them and know they were well taken care of! The visits were longer than expected, which I’m sure our cats appreciated too. Great care, communication, and consideration from Shanna! Would absolutely recommend!”

About: As a lifelong dog owner, my journey with canine companionship spans all my adult years. The joy, loyalty, and unconditional love they bring have been an integral part of my life. While I may not have a furry friend of my own at the moment, I've found a way to channel my passion for dogs into becoming a dedicated dog sitter on Rover. What sets me apart from other sitters is not just my deep understanding of the bond between dogs and their humans, but also my unique skill set. Having trained puppies and cared for senior dogs, I know that different life stages require tailored attention and care. Whether it's helping your new puppy learn basic commands or providing gentle and compassionate care for your senior companion, I'm well-versed in the diverse needs of dogs at every stage of life. My commitment to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for your furry family member is unwavering. With me, your pup will receive not only companionship and care but also the attention to detail that comes from a lifelong dog enthusiast. I'm here to provide the perfect interim loving environment for your dog, making sure they're happy, healthy, and having a tail-wagging good time while you're away. Working from home has allowed me to seamlessly integrate pet care into my daily routine, ensuring that your beloved companion will have a wonderful and attentive presence by their side. With the flexibility of my work setup, I can provide constant companionship to your pet throughout the day. Regular walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks are seamlessly woven into my schedule, promoting both their physical activity and emotional well-being. Additionally, my home environment is conducive to a stress-free and comfortable stay. There's a cozy space for them to rest and relax, and I'm attuned to their cues for when they require a bit of extra attention or a quiet corner to unwind. Having shared my home with a beloved pet for the past two decades, I've cultivated an environment that's not only pet-friendly but also tailored to their comfort and happiness. In my home: Your furry friend will step into a space that's already well-equipped for their needs. With my own pet's presence shaping the layout, there are cozy corners for napping, ample toys for playtime, and a dog door for those who enjoy the freedom of coming and going as they please. I've taken great care to eliminate any potential hazards and ensure a secure setting where your pet can roam freely. Huge Back Fenced Yard: My expansive, fenced backyard provides an ideal playground for your pup to run, explore, and play to their heart's content. From energetic romps to leisurely strolls, the outdoor space offers a safe and stimulating environment that's conducive to their well-being. For client's homes: I extend the same level of care and commitment to pet safety when I'm at your home. If your dog has the penchant for adventure, I'll make sure to adhere to their routines and preferences, whether it's utilizing a dog door or providing supervised outdoor playtime in your fenced yard. Safety and trust are integral to the care I provide. I'm dedicated to maintaining open lines of communication, sharing updates and photos, so you can rest assured that your pet is receiving the best possible care. Whether in my home or yours, I'm fully prepared to create an environment where your pet feels secure, happy, and loved."
“We've just begun working with Andy on a recurring basis and she is great! We get a ton of pictures from each visit and other notes that help us with our puppy! Thanks, Andy!”

“I really can’t stress enough how relieved I am to have found Wing Shan. My partner and I have a very needy and dramatic Siamese cat, and we’ve found that even on longer trips, she (the cat) is less annoyed and desperate for attention when we’re back. Wing Shan takes great pictures, keeps us informed of everything, and does way more for our cat than we would ever expect.”

“sunny is great! she is very conscientious about our cats and even refilled some litter for us while we were gone. she shows very good care of our pets and we’d definitely book again!”

“Veronica was awesome. She took care of Lunita and his space for several days while we were out of the country. She even bought him treats because he was running low! I’ll definitely work with Veronica again 💛”

About: I’ve spent 20 years caring for pets of all shapes and sizes — my own, plus dogs and cats belonging to friends, neighbors, and family. I handle feeding, walks, playtime, cleanup, and lots of attention, and I adapt to whatever routine your pet already knows. High-energy or shy, I read what each animal needs. You’ll get regular photo updates so you always know how they’re doing. I am free every morning for walks and pet care and only work later in the day through the afternoon and evening so I am very flexible. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to the routine they already know — same feeding times, same walking route, same spots to sleep. I follow any house instructions exactly, keep doors and gates secured, and always double-check leashes and collars before heading out. I keep the home clean and tidy, send photo updates after each visit, and reach out right away if anything seems off.
“Cody filled in for us on a last minute need and did a good job working with our rescue dog, who can get scared and aggressive. He followed instructions and stayed calm which led to an even better second visit. Thank you Cody!”

About: I grew up on a ranch where we had ~20 horses, 6 dogs, and a spectrum of other pets as well. I did competitive dog shows as a kid (AKC and 4-H), and my family rescues and trains abandoned horses. In addition to the training experience, I have lots of veterinary medicine experience. I also love the outdoors, and would love to take your pup for a hike if they would like it! I have a very friendly and loving Poodle named Mae who puts up with anything and would LOVES to help entertain new friends, whether by playing in my fenced in yard, or just by cuddling on the couch. When I’m sitting I work entirely or mostly from home (just the occasional hour to two meeting elsewhere if anything). I care for my own pup deeply, and I structure most of my day around her (and your dog!) I have a fully fenced in yard with a collection of toys/balls that’s great for play time! My dog is my family, so she and any other dogs are allowed on the couch and in bed (if you want off-furniture enforced to avoid undoing training, I can also do that.
About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I make it my mission to treat each one like family. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll provide the personalized attention and care they deserve. I’m extremely responsible and follow instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding schedules, specific walking routes, or administering medications. I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency, so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. Your dog’s happiness is my top priority, and I’m committed to making sure they feel secure and loved while you’re away. I currently work from home, which allows me to be flexible with my schedule. I’m generally available after 3:30 PM on weekdays and can accommodate requests during that time. On weekends, I have open availability and am happy to adjust to your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I provide a secure, attentive environment where your pet is never left unsupervised during visits or walks. I closely follow your care instructions—whether it’s leash preferences, feeding guidelines, or home routines—to ensure consistency and comfort. I’m also alert to any signs of stress or health issues and will always keep you informed. You can trust that your pet is in loving, responsible hands every step of the way.

“I have never left my little dog Bella with anyone other than family. My son found Brandi on Rover to housesit for his cats while he was out of town. He called me and said "You absolutely will love Brandi and will not regret hiring her" He was right. Her communication and attention to detail were fantastic. Talia was super great with our senior dog! Really communicative, sent us lots of photos and updates. Spent time playing with him, giving him treats out of his puzzle bowl, and lots of cuddles. Our dog is always a little anxious when his routine changes but she did a great job with him and we came home to a very happy dog!

Have had the absolute pleasure of having Amber as a cat sitter for years now! She is reliable, caring, and the best with our cats. There is literally no better peace of mind when traveling to know that our cats are in excellent hands and to receive photos of them while we are gone!

Carter was absolutely fantastic! He gave Tobi lots of attention and I loved seeing the check-in photos and videos he sent. He was great at communicating before the first visit and made sure that we were all set before I left for vacation. I would definitely book Carter again!

Sand did a great job taking care of our cat, giving him lots of attention, following all of our instructions, and communicating with lots of detail and photos. Will definitely use her again for future drop in visits and would recommend her to other Rover customers.

Clara is amazing. She's very attentive with our cats, their needs and whatever may come up. Her updates are very precise, detailed, and we love the cute pics she takes during playtime. She gives me peace of mind that our cats are well-cared for during our absence.
