When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! About: My two cats are my world right now. Between my partner and I, they are very easy cats to care for. They have their own cat wall; auto feeder and litter box; and a water fountain. About: I cared for my own two cats for over 5 years (they’ve since passed), and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve lived with dogs (thanks to dog-loving roommates and family) and I’ve dog-sat for friends for many years. I’m an expert cuddler, feeder, walker, and all-around caretaker. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers a calm, cozy environment, I’ll treat them like family. I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company, we make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. I’m especially great with affectionate dogs and seniors who need a little extra care and patience. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while you’re away! (Additional note: I’m happy to board larger dogs, as long as they’re older and super mellow. About: I’ve taken care of a small senior dog, big energetic doodle, and a feisty Pomeranian mix. I am very patient and have been able to teach tricks before. I am currently working part-time but the shifts are short and few. This makes me very flexible for your needs. I am happy to accommodate a regular schedule if needed! I am constantly keeping an eye on the pet. If they seem like they need to use the bathroom, I will be paying attention. If they look like they want to play then I will be paying attention. I will keep them both healthy and entertained!

About: I’ve been dog sitting for the same family for the past 5 years as their senior dog passed away and welcomed home a new puppy. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds and have plenty of experience with puppies and have no problem reinforcing any type of training done at home to keep things consistent. Bottom line, I love being with animals and making sure they’re well loved and taken care of while their family is away <3 I have a pretty flexible schedule right now! I’m currently working remotely, but still have time for weeknight stays, drop by visits, walks and full care on the weekends. I don’t plan on watching any pets at my home as it’s not fenced, but I always always keep a close eye on pets when they’re at home or if I’m taking them out for a walk. I have experience crating pets as well for their own safety and comfort.

I’m currently working remote and part time, and I frequently walk around the Seward park and Columbia city neighborhoods for exercise. I have plenty of time and ability to fit pet care into my routine. I will be unable to host your pet, but when I am welcomed into a clients home I do my best to respect the peace and harmony of another’s space and I always strive to leave the home in the exact condition in which I found it.

“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”
“Kai was very communicative, always quick to respond, and sent lots of photos and videos of my cat Felicity while he was watching her! He was friendly and flexible with timing, which I really appreciated. My cat was very shy and a bit anxious to be staying away from home but Kai was watchful and did his best to make sure she was comfortable and cared for!”
