“Carl is an amazing sitter! Very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and I could tell our boy was very comfortable and having a great time while we were gone. Carl’s space is fantastic for any pets, our dog loved being there. I will absolutely reach out to Carl first in the future for any sitting needs.”

“Laila’s love for pups shows. She was extremely caring with our pup and kept us informed with photos. We were so nervous, as we’ve never left our pup with anyone but she really put us at ease. We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone trustworthy, caring and professional to watch their pup!”

“Sarah is the absolute best! She and her son treat our pup like family. She’s great about checking in, super accommodating and communicative, obviously experienced and a natural with annimals, and just a wonderful human. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“I’m beyond thrilled with the care my dog received! He had an amazing time, getting lots of steps in and playing in the yard. Vivian was incredibly attentive, ensuring he was well looked after and showing great patience with me, especially since it was the first time I was leaving my boy with someone new. It’s evident that she and her family truly love dogs, and I wholeheartedly recommend her services! Thank you. Orion and I appreciate you, Vivian!”

“Jerica is great! We found her on Rover 3 weeks before our 8-day trip when our regular dog sitter would not be available. I was nervous leaving Archie with a new sitter at first, but she took great care of Archie. Jerica works from home. She has a yard and an adorable corgi so our beagle had someone to play with. Jerica took Archie on walks with her corgi and let Archie snuggle with her at night. It worked out great. She kept us updated every day and sent us lots of photos. We would definitely book with her again in the future.”

“McKenna continues to be an amazing dog sitter! Our Penny just loves visiting her and her dogs, and we always feel confident that she will be well cared for. We’re so thankful to have McKenna close by!”

“Chris and his dog family are so sweet. His house isn’t far from where our dog goes on walks sometimes. If we’re in the area our dog now gets excited and wants to go back to that house. Safe to say, he had a great time.”

“Stephanie did an amazing job with our dogs. They can be anxious when they are away from us, but she was so good with them and made them feel so comfortable. She also responds quickly and provided us with pictures and updates throughout our trip. She is also flexible and was understanding of our possible changes in our trip plans and the delay we had in getting back to pick them up. We would definitely have our dogs stay with her again in the future!”
“Rachael was great. She provided me regular updates on my pup while he stayed with her, which I very much appreciated. She also responded to any and all of my communications quickly and was very flexible. Would definitely recommend.”

“Joe was great! Cory (our dog) came back super relaxed so I know he had a great stay. Joe sent lots of videos, and had a quick response time. We had a last minute change in plans and needed to stay a day early due to covid and he quickly responded and helped us find a way to make it happen, thanks Joe!”

“Lulu had a blast with Olivia and was well taken care of. We loved all the great photo and video updates. Olivia is super friendly and responsive. Thank you for watching Lulu over the weekend!”

“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”

“Kandice kept our labradoodle kids for 5 days. They're not used to being away from us, yet they were perfectly happy with Kandice. They ate normally, had several daily walks and outdoor playtime, and got to hang out with the family. One couldn't ask for a better environment or for better care. We got daily updates and twice daily pictures.”
“Malvika & her family were fantastic sitters! They were very attentive with her schedule & medication & provided ample photos (all whole album worth!) + lots playtime & company for her. Highly recommend & can’t wait to have Momo stay with them again!! 🥰”

“Our dog Ely stayed with Maureen over the long President's Day weekend. We've boarded our pets with the vet before and this is the first time we've used Rover. We were very happy with Ely in Maureen's care! She sent us daily pictures of Ely with reports on how she was doing. This made us feel at ease while we were away, knowing our little girl was being well taken care of. We will definitely book with Maureen again!”
“Elise and James were wonderful! We started with a lovely meet and greet so my anxious dog could get to know them and sniff their house before staying there for a few days. And while my dog was there they gave me plenty of photos and updates as to how she was doing. Will absolutely let my pup have another vacation with Elise and James!”

“Kenny was great about all his communication and took wonderful care of my dog Barney. He came home relaxed! I look forward to future appointments with Kenny.”

“We've left our Australian shepherd with Martha several times and she always comes back happy and healthy. Martha's got kids and dogs to play with our dog in what looks like a very nice environment.”

“Kai was a fantastic dog sitter! He and his wife were excellent communicators and they took outstanding care of our large golden retriever. Our dog is shy at first, and he warmed up to Kai and his wife very quickly because they are so at ease and know how to welcome a new dog into their home. Kai kindly sent us pictures and videos throughout our pet’s stay with their family. On top of providing exceptional care for our pup, they took the time to meet with us and our dog before the boarding began, they were flexible about our drop-off and pick-up times, and they always responded to our messages promptly and kindly, including when we had an emergency on our end. Kai is a true Rover professional. We hope Kai and his family will be available the next time we are traveling and need dog care, because they are the best!”

About: Cats have always held a special place in my heart—they’re more than pets to me; they’re family. I genuinely love everything about them, from their independent quirks to their affectionate purrs. I care deeply about their well-being and treat every cat I meet with the same love, patience, and attentiveness I give my own. Speaking of which, I have two amazing cats—a Maine Coon and a Siberian Forest Cat—who completely rule my world. Living with them has taught me how to be attuned to a cat’s moods, needs, and boundaries. Whether your cat is shy, playful, or somewhere in between, I know how to meet them where they are and help them feel safe and cared for. I’m extremely responsible and detail-oriented when it comes to feeding routines, litter box maintenance, medications (if needed), and playtime. I understand how important it is to follow your instructions closely and to make sure your cat feels comfortable while you’re away. Your cat’s happiness and health are my priority. I’ll care for them like they’re my own—with love, respect, and plenty of chin scratches (if they’re into that).

“One of our cats (yes I know which one it was) decided to wreak havoc while we were away by digging in our plant and completely flipping over his large water fountain bowl and spilling water everywhere. Joe thankfully cleaned it all up without us asking and he did a wonderful job sending pictures and keeping us updated. Thank you so much Joe for going above and beyond!!”

“We’re repeat clients for Mandy for good reason! She clearly cares about our pets, gives them meds, plays with them and takes GREAT photos. We will continue to book her every time we go out of town. Thanks Mandy!!”

About: While I grew up mostly with dogs, I've pet sit for a lot of friends and family member's cats and am familiar with their body language and needs. I also helped care for my past roommate's cat as my roommate was often out of town. I have a calm, gentle disposition most cats seem to appreciate. I can provide plenty of affection, attention, and playtime for cats while also respecting their space (and checking in on their hiding spots to make sure they are okay).

“Sunny was wonderful in taking care of my cat dice! Wonderful communication and a great photographer I could tell my cat felt comfortable in her hands, would definitely book it again!!”
“Chaunecey was absolutely wonderful. Followed directions, communicated well, and always made sure my babies were well taken care of! I loved the little commentaries she’d have with each visit! Would absolutely recommend to anyone! (:”

“Lee was so communicative and sent us lots of updates about our cat when we were out of town! Lee - thank you again for taking such good care of our little guy 😌 you are the best!”

“Stephanie took such great care of our kitties while we were gone. She sent thoughtful and detailed updates for each visit and definitely made us feel comfortable with being away. Thank you!”

“Andy was incredibly kind and considerate looking after our two cats and accepted our request last minute. Andy gave great updates and was super thoughtful with one of the kitties that was especially shy and scared. Would definitely re-book.”

“I’m so grateful to Wing Shan for the great care and attention she gave to our kitty while we were away. She is very responsive and I appreciated the details she shared about each visit. It was a relief to know we had someone reliable and a true animal lover caring for our guy. Will definitely hire Wing Shan again if she’s available! Thank you!”

About: I’ve been a dog dad for 10 years and a cat dad for 15 years. In that time I’ve learned that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs and I love figuring out what makes each one feel comfortable and happy. My schedule is flexible, so I can give your pet consistent, unhurried visits and walks rather than a rushed in-and-out. I’m also comfortable giving medication to senior pets with health needs (both of mine are senior now 😭), and I treat every dog or cat in my care with the same patience and love I give my own. Both of my pets have special needs and quirks as well, so I’m happy to adhere to your precise instructions when caring for yours.

“Clio is a great sitter! Timely responses and great communication with attention to detail and safe, reliable care for the bbs. She knows how to give our old grumpy cat space and our young feisty cat lots of play and cuddles. The young one is especially nervous around new people but he warmed up easily to her when she watched them a few years ago and remembered her and white right back to cuddles this time around. Highly recommend!”

“Brandi did an amazing job with our two young ragdolls. I would give her 10/10 in literally every category - communication, updates, photos, cleanliness, directions - everything was amazing. I am usually very anxious about leaving them, but Brandi put us at ease entirely. Would book her every time if I could.”

“We recently hired Jennifer as a sitter for our cats during our vacation. Overall, we were very satisfied with her services. She took care of our cat with great attention and sent us photos and updates regularly, which reassured us a lot. Our cats seemed very comfortable with her and were in good health when we returned. We would hire Jennifer again 🙂”

“Joesph was great to my pup Zeus. He took him on plenty of walks and even cleaned his paws afterwards! He also brushed him out, which I super appreciated. I loved the report card he filled out, very informative and lets me see how much fun Zeus is having through the day. I look forward to when he’s able to watch Zeus again.”

“Chris has been absolutely amazing. I just moved from across the country with one of my three dogs, and he has been having a hard time adjusting to apartment life (aka screaming his head off). After I got an email from my property manager after my first day of work I was frantically looking for a sitter for the next day. Chris was not only able to accommodate Casper the following day after my request, but also last minute on a weekend for an event I was hosting. I cannot thank Chris enough for his help and for putting up with some of Casper’s antics.”

“Heather and her husband Andres were wonderful! Sammie had a great time and got along with their sweet dog Noodles. Would absolutely have them take care of Sammie again!”

“We are so grateful to have found Todd. He took wonderful care of Kona and made sure she got daily walks and plenty of attention. Kona got along great with Honey, who is such a sweet, chill pup. The two of them did really well together. Todd was always responsive, reliable, and kept us updated. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are so happy to have found him. We will absolutely continue to use Todd in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and dependable sitter.”

“Christina was wonderful with our new puppy! It was nerve wracking to leave her with a “stranger” for the first time, but Christina and her husband were so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Kit had a great time and we look forward to booking again!”

“Michelle was wonderful. We scheduled a meet and greet prior our first day. Albert and our puppy became instant bff. Throughout the day Michelle would send updates, photos and videos. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be back.”

“Coco and I are so grateful to have found Rose!! Rose has been so gentle and sweet with Coco, embracing her into her home and family instantly, and meeting Coco where she's at. Rose is very communicative, flexible, and compassionate. Any dog will be lucky to be in her care.”

“Maureen (and her Frenchie Lucy!) do a great job hosting Bender. She clearly understands dogs and knows how to handle our rambunctious puppy. Flexible and communicative - we highly recommend booking with Maureen!”

“Olivia was amazing! She was very communicative as this is our first time using rover. She sent super cute photos and kept us updated throughout his stay. Ziggy had an amazing time :)”

“As always, Mckenna and her mom Shirley took the best care of my old dog Chewie, and he's not easy! Thank you so much, Mckenna and Shirley! I'm always sure Chewie is happy and well taken care of when he's at your house.”

“Evlyn was so wonderful with my dog Coco and we were lucky she was able to accept the booking despite a last-minute notice. She sent several photos throughout the day and was quick to respond both prior to and during the stay. Communicating with her was so easy and Coco seemed to have a good time with her and her dog Mikey. :) Thank you again Evlyn! We will be returning for sure. :)”

“Ryan was fantastic with my big, energetic dog. I know that my dog enjoyed his daycare with Ryan because whenever we’d get close to his house in the morning, he’d go crazy whining and barking trying to get there faster. He’d barely even look back at me before running up the steps to his front door. Ryan was great. Lots of walks, pictures, and very communicative and responsive. Would recommend him to anyone. Can’t wait for Reginald to have another stay at Ryan’s.”

About: I cared for my own two cats for over 5 years (they’ve since passed), and I’ve always loved being around animals. I’ve lived with dogs (thanks to dog-loving roommates and family) and I’ve dog-sat for friends for many years. I’m an expert cuddler, feeder, walker, and all-around caretaker. Whether your pup loves playtime or prefers a calm, cozy environment, I’ll treat them like family. I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company, we make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. I’m especially great with affectionate dogs and seniors who need a little extra care and patience. Your pet will get plenty of love, attention, and belly rubs while you’re away! (Additional note: I’m happy to board larger dogs, as long as they’re older and super mellow. As a short woman, I just want to make sure I can stay in control on walks, and with small kids at home, I’m mindful about dogs who won’t jump up or accidentally knock them over.) I work hybrid, so I’m home most days, and my husband is also home most days. Between the two of us, your dog will always have company and they will get lots of love & attention. We make sure pups are never left alone for more than 3 hours at a time. Overnight Stays: We have two kids (5 and 2), so we need dogs who are very kid-friendly and can sleep through the night. If you’re unsure about either of those, our family might not be the right fit. Doggy Daycare: Happy to host your dog during the weekdays, and provide plenty of cuddles, company, and walks. In my home, your dog will be treated like family! They’re free to roam the house, lounge on the furniture, and cuddle up with us. We have a large, almost fully fenced yard with plenty of space to explore and play (while we keep a close eye during outside time just in case). We also have great walking paths nearby for daily strolls. Whether it’s playtime, nap time, or cuddle time, your pup will get lots of attention and love throughout the day.
About: Hii! I’m Rya, I’ve had dogs and cats since I was a kid and loved animals since. I love taking care of them as well as learning each behaviors. Please keep in mind I do have a pup of my own, who is fixed and has all her shots. She’s goofy and loves other dogs. I want to be able to help people take the stress off. My dog has separation anxiety and I’ve learned in multiple ways how to help with that. She is also friendly with cats as she grew up with two since she was 6 months till a year and a half. Pet care is currently part of my every day and weekly routine. I have my pup Sage who is an active deerhound/doodle mix. She keeps me on my toes. My availability is Su-Sa at this time. Not every dog is the same in how they are cared for. I would like to discuss with you a little prior to know your dogs behaviors, if there’s any triggers or anything that benefits them the most.
“Erica was incredible with my higher need, anxious golden! She was very understanding of her food allergies and patient when she had separation anxiety! She sent multiple updates & kept me informed throughout the stay. Will be staying with her again!”

“Maria is so kind and caring. She understands dogs and has been extremely patient with our energetic puppy!! She sends photos throughout the day and is an excellent communicator. Would recommend her to anyone.”

“I had an emergency come up and needed someone to watch my dog last minute, I reached out to about 10 sitters and only 1 was available and more than willing. Ro made the entire day about my dog, a day that wasn’t even planned, took him for walks, bonded with him, socialized him with other animals, just above and beyond. An incredible human being.”

We love all animals from giant crazy puppies to shy senior citizens. If we are walking or watching your pet, you can trust they will gets tons of cuddles and attention, and you will get plenty of updates and pics : ) Rachael works from home for a software company and Daniel is an attorney who is currently working from home, so we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to pet care, and we are happy to customize our schedules to whatever your pet needs. Also, we will donate 25% of your payment to local shelters as a way to pass it on. Can't wait to meet your pup or kitty! About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love. I understand that every dog has their own personality, needs, and routines, and I make it my mission to treat each one like family. Whether your pup is energetic and playful or calm and cuddly, I’ll provide the personalized attention and care they deserve. I’m extremely responsible and follow instructions carefully—whether it’s feeding schedules, specific walking routes, or administering medications. I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency, so you can feel confident your dog is in good hands. Your dog’s happiness is my top priority, and I’m committed to making sure they feel secure and loved while you’re away. I currently work from home, which allows me to be flexible with my schedule. I’m generally available after 3:30 PM on weekdays and can accommodate requests during that time. On weekends, I have open availability and am happy to adjust to your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I provide a secure, attentive environment where your pet is never left unsupervised during visits or walks. I closely follow your care instructions—whether it’s leash preferences, feeding guidelines, or home routines—to ensure consistency and comfort. I’m also alert to any signs of stress or health issues and will always keep you informed. You can trust that your pet is in loving, responsible hands every step of the way.
About: I’ve owned dogs since before I was born, and understand the complexity of taking care of all ages of dogs. While I no longer have any dogs in the home, I can still use my wealth of knowledge to help your pet in anyway I can. Additionally I enjoy running in my free time and would be happy to take your dog along if you so choose! I’m a college student home for summer, giving me lots of unused free time and the ability to match your schedule in whatever way needed. My household having dogs in it for quite a while is built around keeping a pet happy and safe. With a balcony outside for dogs to watch the world and relax, and pads on the stairs to ensure no slipping. I’m hands on when it comes to dog care, making sure that play time is done often and safely.
“Lee is the best! Super communicative and takes incredible pictures. My dog clearly adores her and it's great to know he's in great hands when I'm away from home.”

“Mandy is great with my dogs! She was very patient and had good suggestions for meeting my dog who is reactive to strangers. Showed true care for my pup when I was away.”

About: I’ve watched paralyzed dogs, trained my own rescue Rottweiler, cared for injured animals recovering from surgery, and built trust through social issues like anxiety, reactivity and biting. I love dogs and believe any behavioral issues are signs of stress or bad treatment. “There are no bad dogs, only bad humans.” A dog needs to build up trust and structure to be their best selves. And I know how hard it is to find a dog sitter trained in behavioral issues. That’s why I’m offering services. I can read body language, understand appeasement behaviors, signs of stress, and know how to work with your dog on training routines. If you rescued an animal, or haven’t given up on one that has issues, you deserve a sitter who can see their potential too. I work from home with flexible hours, so I do this work on the side. I’m in grad school Monday and Thursday nights, but can walk, feed, and play with your pets throughout the day. I will keep my schedule updated so you can reliably book with me. Animals I board must be crate trained. My house has two levels, so animals are kept separate and safe with care throughout the day. My dog stays upstairs while boarded animals are in a temperature controlled first level bedroom. They will not interact. This does mean your animal will sleep alone in a bedroom they’re not familiar with, so please take that into account. Also, I live near a fire truck route in North Beacon Hill so there will be traffic noise.
“10/10 — We were so worried about our reactive old lady pit bull finding a walker who understood her needs, and we’re SO thankful we found Andy. Sadly, we’re moving across the country, but we would’ve used their services forever if we could have. We did walks and over nights. Andy was always kind, communicative and sweet to Pearl. We cannot thank you enough, and we’re so happy Pearl had such a nice friend. Thank you, Andy!”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for the same family for the past 5 years as their senior dog passed away and welcomed home a new puppy. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds and have plenty of experience with puppies and have no problem reinforcing any type of training done at home to keep things consistent. Bottom line, I love being with animals and making sure they’re well loved and taken care of while their family is away <3 I have a pretty flexible schedule right now! I’m currently working remotely, but still have time for weeknight stays, drop by visits, walks and full care on the weekends. I don’t plan on watching any pets at my home as it’s not fenced, but I always always keep a close eye on pets when they’re at home or if I’m taking them out for a walk. I have experience crating pets as well for their own safety and comfort.
About: been caring for dogs and cats for over 12 years and have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets while they’re away. I grew up with both dogs and cats and have always been a natural animal person. I have experience caring for puppies, including reinforcing basic training, maintaining routines, and providing the patience and consistency young dogs need to thrive. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand the extra attention, gentleness, and care they often require. I’m extremely responsible, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion around, I’ll provide the same care and attention I would give my own pets. My goal is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while giving you complete peace of mind. I currently have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide reliable and attentive care throughout the day. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, midday check-in, evening exercise, or overnight care, I’m happy to accommodate their routine. Because my availability is open, I can dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, enrichment activities, cuddles, and ensuring your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I understand how important consistency is for animals and will do my best to maintain their normal schedule. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I live in a pet-friendly home with a secure fenced backyard, giving dogs a safe space to play, explore, and burn off energy. I’m also located right next to parks and green spaces, which provide wonderful opportunities for walks, exercise, games of fetch, and outdoor adventures tailored to your pet’s needs and personality. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, routines, training preferences, and any special requirements. With over 12 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages—including puppies, adult pets, and senior animals—I understand that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care and attention. I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own and work hard to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can have complete peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in great hands.

Both of my pets have special needs and quirks as well (my pup likes to bark at the tv!), so I’m happy to adhere to your precise instructions when caring for yours. My schedule is completely open right now so I have plenty of time to look after your pets. I would be able to give them all the attention they need throughout the day. I’m typically just on my computer all day anyway. If I’m caring for your pet in our home, rest assured we have a fully fenced yard. We also have a mother in law apartment where I would do pet boarding - it’s completely separate space from the main part of the house, so your pet can have all the privacy they need.
“Hi I just wanted to a minute and talk about how amazing Heidi is! Heidi is so great with Bruno, I've seen such a change in him since she's been in his life. When I get home and take him out he's happier and more relaxed than before. With my partner's and my schedules being so different Heidi has helped us to not worry about Bruno being anxious waiting for us to go outside. His quality of life has gone up and it shows! We love having Heidi we're very grateful at how skilled she is with Bruno, she's so amazing😁❤️”

About: I’m the person who stops mid-sidewalk to crouch down and say hello to every dog I come across! I was fortunate enough to grow up with dogs, but over time I’ve learned that loving them and understanding them are two very different things. Part of that comes from my sweet girl, Remy, an aussie/border collie mix who's been with me since she was ten weeks old. We are truly the best adventure duo. We're outside constantly: parks, forest walks, swimming, camping (but swimming is her favorite). She's extremely well trained, with a calm, shy demeanor and near perfect recall. I don't say this to brag (maybe a little) but to point out that even now, at ten years old, we’re still learning together. That process taught me that knowing a dog isn’t about affection alone. It’s about paying attention. I bring that same mindset to every one of my friend's and family's dogs that I care for. Each one has their own logic and their own way of moving through the world. Fisher, a golden, craves attention, so when she’s with me we build that into the day. She even has a standing date at a local cider spot. Oakley lives for the water, so that’s where we go. And then there are the subtleties, like how Fisher will dodge you if you walk toward her mid-play, but will come straight to you if you ask for a touch. These aren’t things you pick up from a guidebook. They come from watching closely and adjusting. My goal is always the same. Figure out what makes each dog feel safe, engaged, and understood, and meet them there. There’s almost always someone home. My partner works remotely full-time, and I work from home usually 3 days a week, so your dog gets real company instead of long stretches alone if we're boarding or doing a daycare scenario. Our days have a natural rhythm. Mornings and evenings are when we’re most active, with walks, longer play sessions, and time outside (unless it's the weekend). During the day, dogs can settle, move between spaces, or engage depending on what they need. I offer drop-ins, longer walks, extended play time like hikes, and boarding. I adjust based on each dog’s energy and routine. We live on the ground floor with a fully enclosed private patio (not a yard). Dogs can move freely between inside and out through a mesh door, and I’m often outside working in warmer months. It’s a calm, private, low-stress environment. I have a high-energy dog, so we are ALWAYS outside on walks, at the park, hiking etc. despite not having a proper yard. Remy is an easy housemate. She’s well-trained, focused, and usually more interested in her ball than new arrivals. She can be protective of her toys, which I manage proactively to keep things smooth, and I've never had issues with any other dogs. For boarding, I take dogs up to about 45 lbs to keep the space balanced. Walks and hikes are open to dogs of any size.
About: I love pretty much all dogs and enjoy taking them on adventures! I live near lots of beloved spots, including those accessible to dogs with special needs. Whether your beloved prefers intense urban hikes and swims or tender home care and slow movement, I’ve got them taken care of. My heart is especially drawn to the ones who need special care and attunement, such as seniors, disabled dogs, and ornery small ones. My own little angel (recently passed) was very anxiously attached, required medication administration 3-4 times a day, did not enjoy being pet due to pain, and needed to be carried a lot -- but still enjoyed outdoor adventures and had his own ways of showing love. I am patient with dogs that take time to warm up or who have special needs. I have experience with dogs who require diapering, manual bladder and bowel expression due to paralysis, assistive devices, subcutaneous medication administration, and other needs, as well as those with some behavioral issues. I am very comfortable with elderly creatures. Please include information about your animal and their needs in your message and plan for a meet-and-greet. I require either a drop-in visit or a walk before accepting a boarding request for a new client. Thank you! I am a writer and artist who primarily works from home, although I take occasional shifts at a store where I work and some community spaces I support. I enjoy a lot of flexibility and can accommodate most needs with sufficient advance notice. When boarding or watching dogs in the home, I typically take long walks (1 hour) once a day, with shorter walks as needed. I love to take dogs on adventures to area parks, and am familiar with which areas are best for reactive dogs or dogs who use assistive devices. I live in a quiet part of the Mt. Baker neighborhood with lots of parks and trails nearby. I have a lot of experience house-sitting and watching dogs in other people's spaces as well.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and always loved taking care of animals. My first “jobs” as a preteen were taking care of all my neighborhood cats and dogs and babysitting. I have some experience with training and lots of free time in my schedule this summer (especially during the day) as I am a teacher and have the summers off. I regularly dog sit for people in my personal life and love the excuse to spend time with animals. I am responsible, caring, organized, and used to taking care of all kinds of problems and needs in the classroom! My schedule is pretty much wide open this summer with the exception of a few different appointments and social plans. I can be flexible with needs and scheduling. I live in an apartment and would be able to take care of cats and small dogs in my space and would be happy to take care of them in your space that they are used to. I have a car and can easily drive to different locations throughout the day.

About: I’ve always had an unusually strong connection with animals—especially shy or anxious ones. Dogs and cats that are nervous around others tend to warm up to me quickly, often surprising their owners. I grew up with four dogs and have experience reading behavior, giving space when needed, and building trust at the animal’s pace. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. I don’t have pets of my own right now, which means I can give your pet my full attention and treat them like they’re my own while you’re away. I’m currently working remote and part time, and I frequently walk around the Seward park and Columbia city neighborhoods for exercise. I have plenty of time and ability to fit pet care into my routine. I will be unable to host your pet, but when I am welcomed into a clients home I do my best to respect the peace and harmony of another’s space and I always strive to leave the home in the exact condition in which I found it.
About: As a dedicated and trustworthy neighbor, I offer compassionate and reliable pet sitting services, ensuring your beloved companions are happy and well-cared for while you're away. My approach is centered on building trust and providing peace of mind, allowing you to travel with assurance. I specialize in a range of services tailored to your pet's unique needs: Medication Administration: With extensive experience caring for older animals, including my own pet rabbits, I am highly confident and conscientious in administering medications and attending to specific energy and attention requirements based on age and temperament. Expert Cat Care: I excel in dropping in on cats, respecting their often finicky nature, and ensuring they receive the attention and care they desire. Reactive Dog Care: As a reactive dog owner myself, I have a deep understanding and passion for working with reactive dogs. My focus is on positive reinforcement, building confidence, and being highly aware of triggers during walks. I am also flexible and comfortable with various behavior management techniques owners have implemented, having successfully utilized corrective interventions with different breeds when appropriate. Rabbit and Chicken Sitting: I am very comfortable and have over 20 year of experience with pet rabbits and would love to care for yours. I am also comfortable with chicken clients, ensuring all your feathered friends are well-tended. My pet care radius is intentionally small, focusing on clients within my neighborhood, allowing me to quickly and efficiently reach homes, often by bike. This combines my love for cycling with meeting neighbors and fostering community spirit, ensuring beloved companions are happy and well-cared for. I offer compassionate and reliable pet sitting, specializing in medication administration for older animals, expert cat care respecting their finicky nature, and reactive dog care with a focus on positive reinforcement and trigger awareness. I also provide experienced rabbit and chicken sitting.

About: I’ve taken care of a small senior dog, big energetic doodle, and a feisty Pomeranian mix. I am very patient and have been able to teach tricks before. I am currently working part-time but the shifts are short and few. This makes me very flexible for your needs. I am happy to accommodate a regular schedule if needed! I am constantly keeping an eye on the pet. If they seem like they need to use the bathroom, I will be paying attention. If they look like they want to play then I will be paying attention. I will keep them both healthy and entertained!

“Randsell watched Milo while we were on a 7 day cruise. She sent lots of photos and videos, and took him on lots of walks and gave him a lot of attention. We would definitely rebook her when we're in the area again!”

“George was not feeling well, had some coughs and issues and we were informed twice a day on status Net is that Kalyan and Maria are great hosts and really really care for your pets well being.”

“Scarlett took amazing care of my dog Buckley! He is a senior dog and requires medications and she was able to administer his medications and care for him in the way he needs (short walks/potty breaks and lots of lounging and cuddle time). We will definitely be booking with Scarlett again!”

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

“Ponyo and her family treated my beloved rescue doggy as their family member. The heart-warming photos and messages of him nicely settled in, doing things alongside the family is what he and my heart needed. A heartfelt thank you. Highly recommend/”

“Ramon was great with Nito. Drop-off and pick-up were smooth and quick, and Nito seemed comfortable with him right away. Nito came back happy, which always says a lot. I also really appreciated the daily pictures. Would happily book again.”

“Erica was fantastic! She took great care of Georgia. She had so much fun, and was looking for them when she came home. I would absolutely recommend Erica for your pet sitting and daycare needs.”

“I highly recommend Molly for dog sitting in her home. She did everything possible to ensure my anxious Chihuahua was happy and comfortable. He ended up having a great time! We will definitely book with her again.”

“Jennifer and Ken were absolutely wonderful with Scout the week before Christmas. From the very beginning, everything felt thoughtful and easy — we did a meet-and-greet with Ken and Kaiya beforehand, which immediately put us at ease! They took such great care of Scout while we were away, and went above and beyond by dropping her off at our house when we had a late flight, so she could be there waiting when we got home. That extra bit of care meant so much and made a long travel day feel a lot sweeter!! Scout was happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Jennifer and Ken again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring, reliable sitters.”

“Pramukh is an excellent communicator and was flexible with drop-off / pick-up times. He sent daily status reports with multiple pictures; I felt assured my BFF was in good hands and cared for.”
