One of our dogs is an adopted dog who used to be on the streets, who has some challenges, but Mackenzie had a great attitude toward working with her. She fed, played with and walked both dogs (which can also sometimes be challenging!) and did great with them. She sent us photos and communicated throughout the day. Finding Alana on Rover was a blessing, she was kind and understanding of our nervousness and put us at ease. She was extremely reliable, making 2 daily visits to ensure our kitty was fed at her normal times. She followed my specific feeding instructions (yes, I am a neurotic pet owner) as well as taking time to give some cuddles. She was very communicative, giving us updates and photos and was also quick to reply to any questions that we had through the duration of our trip. We were absolutely delighted with Alana's drop in visits with our little tabby and we will look forward to using her services in the future. About: I've been taking care of my reactive husky since we got him 5 years ago as a puppy, so I know what it means to deal with dogs, especially when they're being more difficult than not. I have a tech role at Amazon, but I'm extremely passionate about dogs. I even have a startup in the dog space. I know the cost of my services are high, but you can depend on me for being professional and reliable. The main reason I'm joining Rover is to learn even more about the pet space. Can't wait to meet your doggo soon! My weekends are dedicated to working on my dog-related startup, so this is part of it. I'm not currently available on weekdays because I have a full-time job and a start up. If you are trying to book a recurring drop in that occasionally falls on a weekday, I may be able to accommodate. Just let me know! My main goal will always be to make sure your dog is safe. Having an escape artist of my own, I'll make sure your dog doesn't run out of the house or gate. I'll make sure to give food, water, and, of course, pets and rubs as instructed and then leave as if I was never there! You can always let me know if you have any special instructions, and I will be honest about whether or not it's something I can handle.

“I’ve known Jillian her whole life. She’s incredibly responsible and she LOVES all creatures and is a kind hearted and niced person herself. She won’t even squash a spider! She has a lot of experience with caring for a variety of animals with a variety of temperaments. She personally owns 2 cats and a dog. She’s planning to eventually pursue an animal related career (wild animal conservation, veterinary sciences? TBD ) and she is exploring these fields academically. “Where do I even start? Jessica is the most amazing person to watch over your pets. I’ve been using her for about two years now to watch my sweet girl, Mojito-Ray (Golden Retriever). She takes her to exercise, feeds her my very specific meal routine of freshly baked chicken and kibble w/ Brita filtered water, and provides her with so much love.
