Emily has been a care taker for my dogs and even fostered for several months a large breed dog that my family eventually adopted. About: I've been a dog & cat mom my entire life, and I've never met an animal I didn't immediately love. I have a pug and a cat, but I love dogs and cats of all shapes/sizes/ages/shedding capacity/etc. Fun fact: I saved one of our pugs during a heat stroke, so I can think on my feet in a high pressure situation. One of my girls is a sassy 10 year old, so I also know my way around a senior pup. As an avid runner and hiker, I will happily exercise your best friend as much as he/she needs. I am the one my friends turn to when they need a pet sitter; not only do their pups have a blast, I am super attentive and always provide updates and status texts so they don't have to worry. I currently work full-time remotely from home so my schedule is very flexible! At home, pets go out several times a day - if dropping by your place for a checkin, let me know a few days in advance when you need me to be there and I'll make sure to clear my schedule for that time. My townhouse does not have a fenced in yard, so any outdoors time happens on leash. I'm close to Green Lake for long walks or the dog park. In my house, the pets have free range of the house - since I'm almost always home, I always have an eye on them.

About: I've been taking care of my reactive husky since we got him 5 years ago as a puppy, so I know what it means to deal with dogs, especially when they're being more difficult than not. I have a tech role at Amazon, but I'm extremely passionate about dogs. I even have a startup in the dog space. You can depend on me for being professional and reliable. The main reason I'm joining Rover is to learn even more about the pet space. Can't wait to meet your doggo soon! I work from home full-time, so my schedule is flexible. Please let me know you're preferred times so I can accommodate your schedule as well! My main goal will always be to make sure your dog is safe. Having an escape artist of my own, I'll make sure your dog doesn't run out of the house or gate. I'll make sure to give food, water, and, of course, pets and rubs as instructed and then leave as if I was never there! You can always let me know if you have any special instructions, and I will be honest about whether or not it's something I can handle.
