About: I’ve been caring for pets and house sitting since I was a kid, with over 15 years of hands-on experience including formal pet care and training. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and if I hadn’t ended up in tech, I probably would’ve become a vet! I work from home full-time, so your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I also have a fully fenced backyard, which is perfect for safe playtime during boarding stays. I have experience with pets of all ages and needs — from energetic puppies to senior dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. I live with my fiancé and our 2-year-old mini doodle, Bear. He’s about 15 lbs of pure sweetness and loves other dogs, but he’s also very good at giving space to pups who prefer a quieter vibe. If you’re considering boarding, I always want to make sure you’re fully comfortable with him sharing the home. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority! Work from home, daily care with a wide open schedule! Always happy to go on daily walks and keep your pet company throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard and a sweet little doodle to keep your pet company. I also work from my computer, so quick to respond to messages and happy to send photos of your pet’s visit!

About: I am the first to say “pick me!” when a friend is in need for a pet-sitter. I feel very comfortable around animals and love to be in their company. We, I and my husband have a 2.5 years old Miniature American Shepard, Iris. We have grown her up since she was about 2 months old. We live in a house with fenced backyard so your dog will have a good space to run around during the day time. I am not working and stay at home mostly I can stay close to your dog so that they don't feel lonely during your absence, of course Iris is here for your dog too :). I can follow a specific schedule or your dog's needs like feeding time or walking time, or anything for making your dog feel as comfortable as possible. Drop-ins are always welcomed, but I don't drive so cannot come to pickup your pups sorry... My day starts with letting my dog go backyard then feed her. After having a coffee I usually walk around with Iris and do some shores. play with toys and fetch on the backyard a few times during the daytime and go for a walk again in the evening. Feed dinner and do the last short walk for potty around 10:30 pm before going bed. We have fenced yard so your dog can exercise during the day. And living in a peaceful residential neighborhood allows us to walk around with pups safely. I care your dog as I care my dog for sure. A lot of plays and walks, and hugs. I also have a lot of toys in the house and different style of beds so your dog will find something fit for them! if they want :)

We’ll spend the day exploring 4–12 miles on dog-friendly trails with plenty of breaks, water, and updates along the way. I work full-time during the week, so I’m primarily available for weekend adventures. About: I’m a huge animal lover and have been taking care of them my whole life. I grew up around farm animals, with 3 big dogs and now have two cats of my own, who I treat as my children! My ultimate dream in life is to live on a farm with lots of land and adopt all the animals who need a home! I just moved to North Seattle and am new to Rover, but I have many years of pet care experience and was a regular sitter of several dogs and cats where I used to live. One of my clients even had two spotted geckos who I helped take care of while they were gone! They ate live crickets which were interesting to handle and fun to watch when they devoured them! I work six days a week, but they are shorter shifts, only about 25 minutes from home. I am able to provide walks and lots of love throughout the day before I leave for work, and after! We also have a backyard with a deck and an area for them to potty. We like to hang outside a lot in the summer and have some toys that they can play with. I am also happy to administer medications if need be. My cats are older and get meds every other day! Sometimes there is just one dog at the house and sometimes there are five all at once and it’s pretty great! Your animals will be well taken care of because I will also treat them as my own. I am also happy to stay at your house if need be! I also work as a gymnastics coach but mostly during the early evening and night time, typically about 3:30-9:00 most days, I’m off on Sundays. I have the mornings and early afternoons to do what I want. We have a fenced in yard and 3 cats in the house. There are gates to each set of stairs to block them off if needed. We also have space for a crate in the house.
About: Summer plans leaving you in need of pet care? Look no further! I have been home pet sitting for many years and would love to give you peace of mind in knowing that your furry friend is well cared for. I grew up around various animals of differing breeds, size, sex, and ability! From literal day 1, I was thrown into the depths of animal care. Growing up, we always had one dog and at least two cats in home at the same time, meaning animal care was routinized to support our animals’ preferred lifestyle. I truly love being around animals of all kinds but can say that cats and dogs bring me the most joy. They also happen to be the animals I am the most comfortable with :) I am currently working on an extremely flexible hybrid schedule that allows me to choose when I get to go in to my downtown office. I am able to provide care during odd hours and for extended periods also. My services will, without question, include making sure pets are fed and watered, walked and exercised regularly, and kept entertained. I will ensure that pet relief areas area cleaned and changed on a regular basis. I apply sufficient attention to detail to ensure specific care instructions are followed (e.g., for pets that have special needs and/or medications, and elderly animals). I am also happy to: - Provide transportation to pets to and from groomers or vets during stay - Provide transportation to pets to and from parks and/or doggy daycare - Water and tend to in home plants and outdoor vegetation - Collect/sort mail - Routinely clean living spaces to ensure clients return to a clean and organized home.

“Kim has been great to work with. My dog Kona is a little nervous at first but took to her instantly. She’s very communicative and flexible with dealing with changes as they occur. Thanks for taking care of Kona!”

About: My name is Bella! I am truly a dog person and always have been! I love to run and hike and am overall an active person who loves to share those experiences with dogs. I have always grown up with big dogs, but I am very comfortable with all dog sizes and breeds. I currently have a very high energy GSD lab mix of my own who demands daily exercise so I understand that need. I ensure I will give your pup the best possible care! I am happy to walk or even run your dog if that’s what you prefer. I’ve done tasks from exercising, engaging and playing, feeding, and cleaning after pets. I have experience from puppy to senior dogs. My current dog is nearly 1.5 years, so I have very recent experience with puppy training and their habits. I am comfortable and willing to do whatever your special pet needs to be comfortable and happy. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with whatever days you need a drop in or a walk for your pet! I make sure my dog gets at least an hour of exercise a day and gets to run most days of the week. Multiple walks a day as well as mental stimulation is a necessity. I will follow whatever directions owners will give me. I will also take the necessary precautions and steps to build trust with your pup(s) to ensure a healthy relationship.
“Samantha takes Maisey on walks every weekday and does a phenomenal job. She is incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. Maisey is always excited to see her and comes home happy and well-exercised. I especially appreciate that Samantha takes her on different routes to keep the walks interesting and engaging rather than following the same path every day. She is a very compassionate dog walker!”

“Minerva did a great job walking our grumpy old man dog. He gave very thorough feedback and reports on what he was doing and how they were getting along and I couldn't be happier”

“Kathryn has been awesome to work with! She is so communicative and you can tell that she cares deeply about working with animals. Our 2 greyhounds LOVE Kathryn. We appreciate that she has taken the time to get to know both of their personalities/quirks. When our dog, Cleo, got several teeth removed Kathryn went above and beyond to give her treats that wouldn't hurt her teeth. I'd definitely recommend Kathryn! 😊”

About: (They/Them) I have lifelong experience with raising and taking care of various pets. There was never a time in my life where my family hasn't had at least one cat or dog! In my younger years, I have helped take care of smaller dogs like Yorkies and Westies, and in older years, bigger breeds like Pitbulls (I have the most experience with them!), Rottweilers, Great Danes, etc. I'm both a dog and cat person! Cats are also my bread and butter, I love any cat with all my heart. I have also raised several fish and the occasional lizard. I do not mind jumpy animals at all and have a lot of patience with skittish ones. I am experienced with both young and elderly animals. I am familiar with administering oral and topical medications as a recent caretaker of an elderly (19 years old) cat, and 13 and 11 year old Pitbulls. I am very detail oriented and will triple-check any medication dosages or food amounts. I love to spoil pets as well and give lots of affection and/or may sneak a little treat or two if you allow! ;) My parents, roommates, and friends often call me as a first resort to sit their animals while away on vacation. As an introvert, spending time with animals is my happy place! Working for Rover will be my (flexible) full time job! Most of my time commitments outside of work will be band rehearsals, performances, and nerdy activities that fuel my creative side. I am a huge night owl so I will tend to gravitate towards evening needs or overnights, but do not mind a lovely dog walk during the day! SPECIFICS: Wednesdays and Thursdays I have rehearsals in the evenings, so daytime only availability. If I am booked for an overnight, expect that on a W or Th I will be gone for 3-4 hrs those evenings depending on your location. Saturdays are usually busy for me from late Spring - early Fall, but this can be case by case. Lets chat. :) I am very respectful of other's spaces and dislike leaving messes. I operate with a "leave no trace" or "leave it better than you found it" type of attitude. I work best with clear cut boundaries and instructions in order to ensure that I am not invading or changing your personal spaces. The more clarity the better.
“John helped us with walking our Dachshund, Cody, daily for the past week. He was amazing—I will definitely work with him in the future and recommend him 100%. He was willing to come do a meet and greet and was so good with Cody. He is very attentive to Cody’s needs. He also sends detailed updates after each walk that I really appreciate. And took lots of cute pictures of Cody for us! Very reliable and above and beyond care.”
