About: Ive taken care of a variety of pets throughout my life. Often I have watched pets for friends and family, mostly dogs and a few cats. Ive owned exotic pets myself so I'm comfortable watching those too if need be. I'm currently on the hunt for a job and I need to earn some money in the meantime, so why not do that with one of things I love most- animals! I have lots of freetime, but I'd rather not start too early or go too late if possible. I have a pretty roomy apartment with two roommates who are all for having pets visit as we don't have any of our own. The neighborhoods near me are perfect for walks! If I'm at your place just tell me what I need to do and I'll do it. Feel free to leave me a list of anything you can think of!

About: We are a loving married couple of 14 years. Animals have been part of our lives for 25 years combined, starting well before we met. Lindsay grew up in a busy household with large dogs and cats, learning early on how to read animal behavior and stay calm under pressure. Zachary brings the same instinct, along with hands-on experience giving medications and caring for elderly pets who need extra patience and a gentle touch. Most recently, we said goodbye to our own dog, Wesley, a Yorkie who was part of our family for 16 wonderful years (yes, named after the hero in The Princess Bride). Caring for him in his senior years, including managing his medications and adjusting routines as his needs changed, gave us hands-on experience with the kind of attentive care that older pets and their owners deserve. We thrive on routine and understand how much pets and homes benefit from consistency. We will follow your schedules and feeding instructions closely. At the same time, we're genuinely flexible and comfortable adapting on short notice, whether that's an early arrival, a sudden schedule change, or a last-minute request. Lindsay is currently home full time and will be able to spend lots of quality time walking & loving on your pets. Zack is also working a hybrid, flexible schedule and will be around to give attention, cuddles and play time. We have a 3 story townhome with a large enclosed patio and a rooftop deck. We have dog gates and a medium sized dog door to allow in and out privileges if desired. We are able to accommodate crates, pets on furniture and pets in bed if that is their preference.

About: I grew up in a house where pets were considered family, and that value still holds true to this day. I love dogs and cats of all kinds, and loving on animals is something that brings me joy. As a current cat dad of two who has used pet sitting services before, I know how nerve wracking the experience can be. With me you can rest assured that your pets will be well cared for and loved on as if they were my own! I currently work part-time and have decent flexibility throughout the week. I tend to have the most flexibility on Wednesdays, Fridays, or weekday afternoons after 2:30pm. Caring for animals has been part of my life since I can remember. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and needs, and aim to provide care that is fun, safe, and dependable I’m currently between jobs, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate daytime, evening, and weekend visits. I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and provide consistent care, walks, playtime, and attention while you’re away. I currently have an 8-month-old puppy of my own, so I’m not offering pet care in my home at this time. I’m happy to care for pets in their own home, where they can stay comfortable in a familiar environment. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their routine as consistent as possible, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and care.

About: I grew up on a farm with all sorts of animals, so I love being around them and can handle a wide range of behaviors and temperaments appropriately. I currently have two dogs; both are 7 years old, and I got them when they were 8 weeks old. One is a German Shepherd/Husky, the other is a deaf Border Collie/Aussie mix. I have gone through positive reinforcement training classes with both of them at Ahimsa (highly recommend). Most of the time we chill at home. We also hike, backpack, and road trip often — I've been all over the country with my dogs! I travel often and am incredibly selective about who cares for my animals, so I am happy to accommodate requests that put you and your pet at ease while you're away. I also have two senior cats. My house is much calmer than most expect, but it is just as full of fur as most expect! Everyone gets along, and we have space to accommodate other friendly furry friends! I'm taking a break from my full-time career, which allows me a lot of availability at the moment. I do have some evening commitments; otherwise, I'm often at home. I am aiming to be back working full-time in January or February. When that happens, my weekday availability will likely be reduced. I live in a larger 3-bedroom townhome with a small patio area that my dogs use to go to the bathroom. I'm comfortable taking well-trained dogs on walks or to the dog park. If they're not good on a leash, I'm still glad to board them, I'll just have them use the patio. Both of my dogs are friendly and very chill. I can accommodate crates and gates (I have one baby gate and one medium crate, if needed). My cats stick to themselves and ignore the dogs. I am comfortable working with medications, special dietary needs, and pets of all ages. I live very close to a 24hr emergency vet (Timberline, they're great). If you have any other accommodations or concerns, please ask and I'll see if I'll be able to work it out :)

I live in a secure apartment community with controlled access and a nearby park, making it easy to provide pets with safe, convenient outdoor time. My home also has a separate den that can serve as a comfortable space for your pet to relax, decompress, or have some quiet time when needed. I’m attentive about doors and entryways, especially when bringing pets in and out, and I’ll follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, and other routines. I keep my space clean and pet-friendly and will always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety. For walks and outdoor time, I stay attentive to my surroundings and keep pets securely leashed unless you’ve specifically instructed otherwise. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how your pet is doing while they’re in my care.

About: Hello! My name is Hannah and I am a lover of all four legged friends. I have always had dogs growing up and also have experience in care taking for cats, birds, rabbits, horses, chickens, goats, donkeys, pigs, exotic fish, reptiles, and more! I believe in lots of energetic play and love. I have a combined 9 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I will gladly hike or take your furry friend on a short walk - whichever your preference! I am also available at any time for overnight care. I am a very responsible and attentive person and I will cater to your needs 100%. I have one dog of my own (Fisher) who loves all other animals. He usually will come with me when I stay at other homes, but we can make other arrangements if necessary. PLEASE NOTE - I will not house sit for you if your dogs are not house trained. I work part time in research at UW. My schedule varies but fortunately I am only working for five hours at a time in the mornings which means I am able to stay with your pets the rest of the day and night. Safety, comfort, and open communication on both sides are of the utmost importance to me when staying at someone else’s home. The health and happiness of your four legged family member is my top priority. Should anything arise, you can rest assured that I will be attentive and caring.

One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example.
