“Bethan was absolutely great. I highly recommend if you are looking for a fantastic sitter that will treat your pet well and show it lots of love. Overall very thankful she was available for the 5 days I was gone for.”

“Meriam is excellent!!! She’s so great with my 5month old very active puppy. She goes above and beyond on the walks and my puppy is always in good spirits when I get home.”
“Jiani took great care of our two cats over a weekend, and she shared photos of them eating and playing. Cats were happy and healthy when we returned. While we are okay with people wearing shoes in our house, I appreciated that Jiani took off her shoes when we did the meet-n-greet with the cats”

“Meagan was amazing! I have a very senior kitty that is very set in his ways and hides for everyone but me. Meagan went above and beyond making sure his life was as normal as possible while I was gone. She kept in contact with this nervous mama all along. I would not hesitate to use her again!”

“We've used Debs and Paul for drop-in visits in our dogs love them!! We love getting all the pictures and it always looks like the dogs are having so much fun!”
About: I have loved dogs & cats my whole life! My family has had many pets over the years and all my relatives know I’m the guy to go to when they need someone to pet sit! The photos of me are with family pets, especially Sailor, my/my Grandma’s yellow lab. I really enjoy dog and cat sitting and getting to take great care of local pets. Thank you for your consideration, I look forward to hearing from you! I am currently working part time and am looking to make good use of my free time. I have a flexible schedule and often work from home, so commuting and scheduling are easy for me! I read the pet’s personality. The first thing I do is make sure they feel comfortable around me and then I gauge their individual needs.
About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have close to a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 3‑month‑old black kitten I adopted last month. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.

“Isabella was wonderful! Incredibly communicative and responsive and won Daisy over very quickly! I was so Impressed as she’s a shy and anxious girl and took to Isabella right away. We hope she’s available for our next trip.”

“Caleb was personable, responsible and totally amenable to the specific schedule we needed for our pup and senior kitty. Definitely appreciated the time he took with both animals and they seemed to do great in his care. Thanks Caleb! We plan to rebook for a few long weekends this summer. :)”

“Tori was great with my two senior kitties! Very responsive, flexible, and diligent. She has a calming presence my boys really appreciated. Highly recommend!”
“Julie is such a wonderful sitter! she really cares about your animals and goes the extra mile to make sure that you and your pet are both comfortable! I highly recommend her ^_^”

“Lina is wonderful - she is professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. Our pups are always well taken care of while we're at work. It's nice to know they're in such good hands.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I grew up with pets. I worked in a veterinary clinic assisting with surgery, bathing, feeding and grooming. I adopted a dog that was going to be euthanized because he was very aggressive. He only allowed me to feed him. After that I helped him become more friendly. I believe that animals can understand when I communicate with them. They feel my good energy and good vibes. At the moment I walk with my neighbor’s dogs almost every evening. Sometimes I take care of him on weekends when his mom is busy. I have plenty of time during the day for playing with your babies puppies. I could sitting your pets in my house in the future. Now I am available for take care of your puppy in your home at nights or during the day. I could give him a bath, petting, and nicely walks in the park or whatever places that you want.

Clive took great care of our two cats while we were away. He is very thorough, kind, and caring. We’ve found a lot of people don’t know how cats “play” but Clive does, and took great care. He also sent lots of photos and was very personable to work with. We will absolutely book him again!

Caroline is such a pro and genuinely loves animals. I totally trust her to give my cat with cardiac issues the medication that he needs. She was great at following the schedule needed as well! I loved the pictures she sent with every visit of the kitties enjoying their favorite treat. She updated me frequently and asked questions as they came up. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any special needs pet parent looking for a sitter.

We have booked Ivy several times to watch our two cats and she is fantastic!!! Ivy is so communicative, consistent, and kind. She has so much care and love for our cats and we can feel it in every photo and text update. We feel so safe leaving our cats in her hands.
Sara was a delightful sitter for our little Dachshund! Ollie warmed up to Sara very quickly which is a testament to how great of a sitter she is. Sara left us thorough and prompt feedback for every visit. She even sent us great photos from her sit. We highly recommend Sara and would be interested in having her as a sitter again ☺️.

First time using Rover, and what a good experience! Found Jenica thru the search in my part of Seattle. She was wonderful with both of my cats. First: they're not used to anyone but me, and Jenica made sure that she was friends with them, before I left on my vacation. I loved the picture updates from her, and if she had any questions about the cats, or anything with my apartment, she didn't hesitate to ask. She even put the AC vent back in my window(heated back up again). Highly recommend Jenica to take care of your pets. She cares for them like they're her own, and is very thorough in her care.
