About: I have many years of global house/pet sitting experience on other sites but am new to Rover. I will be back in the Seattle area from the beginning of October 2026 and will be house sitting until at least September 2027. I have already completed the following house/pet sitting trips: April/May 2023 San Francisco/Bay Area. 5 housesits, cats, dogs, birds and fish, indoor plants, garden. September/October 2023 L.A./Orange County. I took care of 2 homes, dogs, cats, fish, indoor plants, large garden. February/April 2024 Seattle area. 5 housesits, dogs, cats, indoor plants, backyards, garden. July/August 2024 Hvar, Croatia. 1 housesit. Dog, indoor/outdoor plants. September/October 2024. Kailua, Hawaii. I took care of 1 home, 2 cats, 1 very large dog, indoor/outdoor plants. Large garden. February/May 2025. San Francisco/San Diego. I took care of 5 homes, 6 cats, indoor/outdoor plants, backyard and gardens July 2025. Mallorca, Spain. I sat for an amazing home with two large dogs, an extremely large orchard, a very large garden as well as a nursery. September 2025. Corfu, Greece. I sat for a 350 year old original Greek stone home with 8 cats, 2 dogs, a very large garden and exotic plants. November 2025-March 2026. Seattle, Washington. I sat for 7 homes, 3 very large dogs, 10 cats, indoor/outdoor plants as well as 2 large gardens. Confirmed, upcoming sits. July 2026. Estepona, Spain. 3 week sit for a large home. 2 dogs, 1 cat, very large orchard and garden. August 2026. Malaga, Spain. 2 week sit for 2 cats. 200 year old historical flat in the centre of Malaga. October 2026-September 2027 Seattle area. I already have 2 confirmed housesits and am currently interviewing for more. One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. About: I grew up in a house where pets were considered family, and that value still holds true to this day. I love dogs and cats of all kinds, and loving on animals is something that brings me joy. As a current cat dad of two who has used pet sitting services before, I know how nerve wracking the experience can be. With me you can rest assured that your pets will be well cared for and loved on as if they were my own! I currently work part-time and have decent flexibility throughout the week. I tend to have the most flexibility on Wednesdays, Fridays, or weekday afternoons after 2:30pm. Caring for animals has been part of my life since I can remember. I approach caring for pets with a deep sense of responsibility and attention to detail, and find a lot of joy in loving on pets of any kind. I recognize that some pets have specific needs and will always do my best to provide individualized care.

About: I’ve taken care of my own and others dogs for ten years now, and have experience in dogs with food and environmental allergies. I’m very aware of all the little eccentricities that makes each pup unique and I’m looking forward to getting to learn your pets 😊 Looking to care for and bond with dogs in the community. My best friend recently crossed the rainbow bridge, and not being on a pup’s schedule is odd to say the least. I work a usual 9ish - 4ish so am mostly available after work, but can make mornings work with the right fit. Weekends available with enough notice 😊 I love a long list of either needs, schedules, or your pets eccentricities and will follow anything given to the letter! Besides anything written I always will clean up after any messes and put things back where they came from. Communication is very important, and I’m very open and honest so any questions or concerns can be directed my way anytime, my phone is always on me!

About: I grew up with a variety of dog breeds. Some had jobs, like guarding or hunting, while others were simple companions. We believe the dog's personality and inclinations determine a dog's role. I love all manner of dogs. I support zero discrimination against size, age, breed, need, or quirk. I love to adapt my technique to accommodate the specific needs of each dog in my care. I am mild-mannered and nurturing, naturally connected with dogs. I currently am unable to own (or board) a dog as my apartment building has restrictions. Therefore, I have a pretty open schedule. I desire quality time with a pup in need of the same. "It takes a village to raise a family," they say. I am available to be the extra member of support for the health & happiness of your loved one(s). I work from home with very flexible hours. I am happy to supplement my days with some quality play or walk time with your pups while giving you relief, thus allowing you to tend to other matters when needed. In addition, I can build routines around your needs. I can work with your dog in the environment you provide, be it your home, the local dog park, or simple laps around the block. But, ultimately, It is of the utmost importance that trust is established and maintained throughout our working relationship. I understand how challenging it can be to find someone with whom you wholeheartedly trust with the care of your pup, and I intend to be that person.

About: I’ve cared for animals for over ten years, in all ranges of care ranging from veterinary nursing, to running an animal shelter, to training huskies for the Iditarod. I currently have 3 days off a week and every day after work to spend with pets. I live a fairly quiet life and am happy to spend my time with animals :) I have a house that has a yard so am able to provide a space where they can roam, as well as a nearby park to walk to.

About: I’ve always had a dog in my family, and I took care of my own dog for 15 yrs until he passed away last year. I can’t have dogs at my apartment and I love walking. It’s just better with a friend; your pup :) I understand dog behavior from years of taking care of them for friends and family, and I always adhere to the rules of food intake, special medical needs, and general care. I have a disability, but it does not stop me from getting out and going for a nice long walk. I’d love to take a dog along on my adventures. I also have plenty of time to check in on them daily. I treat the animals I care for with respect and common sense. If they are reactive and can’t be around other dogs, I have experience there. If they are aged and need extra help, I’ve done that too. I treat the house I visit with care and respect as well.

About: Hello! My name is Hannah and I am a lover of all four legged friends. I have always had dogs growing up and also have experience in care taking for cats, birds, rabbits, horses, chickens, goats, donkeys, pigs, exotic fish, reptiles, and more! I believe in lots of energetic play and love. I have a combined 9 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I will gladly hike or take your furry friend on a short walk - whichever your preference! I am also available at any time for overnight care. I am a very responsible and attentive person and I will cater to your needs 100%. I have one dog of my own (Fisher) who loves all other animals. He usually will come with me when I stay at other homes, but we can make other arrangements if necessary. PLEASE NOTE - I will not house sit for you if your dogs are not house trained. I work part time in research at UW. My schedule varies but fortunately I am only working for five hours at a time in the mornings which means I am able to stay with your pets the rest of the day and night. Safety, comfort, and open communication on both sides are of the utmost importance to me when staying at someone else’s home. The health and happiness of your four legged family member is my top priority. Should anything arise, you can rest assured that I will be attentive and caring.
