About: I am the first to say “pick me!” when a friend is in need for a pet-sitter. I feel very comfortable around animals and love to be in their company. We, I and my husband have a 2.5 years old Miniature American Shepard, Iris. We have grown her up since she was about 2 months old. We live in a house with fenced backyard so your dog will have a good space to run around during the day time. I am not working and stay at home mostly so I can stay close to your dog so that they don't feel lonely during your absence, of course Iris is here for your dog too :). I will follow a specific schedule or your dog's needs like feeding time or walking time, or anything for making your dog feel as comfortable as possible. Drop-ins are always welcomed, but I don't drive so cannot come to pickup your pups sorry... My day starts with letting my dog go to the backyard then give her breakfast. After having a coffee I usually walk around with Iris and do some shores. play with toys and fetch in the backyard a few times during the daytime and go for a walk again in the evening. Feed dinner and do the last short walk for the potty around 10:30 pm before going to bed. We have a fenced yard so your dog can run around during the day. And living in a peaceful residential neighborhood allows us to walk around with pups safely. I care your dog as I care my dog for sure. A lot of plays and walks, and hugs. I will not leave your dog alone usually, but I will ask you first if it's inevitable. I also have a lot of toys in the house and different style of beds so your dog will find something fit for them! if they want :)
“Michelle is wonderful! She does weekly drop-in visits for my puppy and always takes great care of him! She is always on time and gives me updates and pictures after each visit. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

About: I love dogs and am a native Seattle-life who is not afraid of a little rain! I want your dog to feel loved and enjoy fresh air. I have never owned my own but I have several years of dog walking and sitting experience and used to watch dogs for up to a week at a time and even board them at my place. I am very active and am happy to go on a long walk or play time with your dog. I have experience with senior pets and providing medication. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs and I can let you know if I can accommodate them. I am currently job-searching so I am available for all your drop in pet-sitting and dog walking needs and will do my best to emulate your pet's regular routines provided they do not conflict with my other clients. I am not interested in hosting pets at my home or staying overnight but I can stay for long hours at your home as an alternative for overnight stays. My goal is to create an environment that is safe and comfortable for your pet. The first thing I do is take them out for a walk and then give food, water, and medication if needed. I will clean up and report on ant accidents and make sure your home looks the same if not better than when you left it.
“We’ve booked Meri several times now for drop in visits for our cat. She has great communication and is reliable, and will go out of her way to bring in packages/make sure our house is in order. Thanks Meri!”

About: I’ve always had a dog - from growing up with them to now having one of my own. I am good with puppies to older dogs, and love taking long walks around the neighborhood. I’m currently taking some time off this summer, so have a lot of flexibility to help take care of your pup! I would be a available nearly anytime of day, pending your needs I have a fenced in yard and a 2 year old lab who loves to play and make friends. Were big fans of long walks around the neighborhood.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I grew up with pets. I worked in a veterinary clinic assisting with surgery, bathing, feeding and grooming. I adopted a dog that was going to be euthanized because he was very aggressive. He only allowed me to feed him. After that I helped him become more friendly. I believe that animals can understand when I communicate with them. They feel my good energy and good vibes. At the moment I walk with my neighbor’s dogs almost every evening. Sometimes I take care of him on weekends when his mom is busy. I have plenty of time during the day for playing with your babies puppies. I could sitting your pets in my house in the future. Now I am available for take care of your puppy in your home at nights or during the day. I could give him a bath, petting, and nicely walks in the park or whatever places that you want.
“Bethan was absolutely great. I highly recommend if you are looking for a fantastic sitter that will treat your pet well and show it lots of love. Overall very thankful she was available for the 5 days I was gone for.”

“Gina was great during our time away and was patient and helpful when we had a few things go wrong: door lock not working, feeder out of battery, litter box issue… we’re very grateful for her staying with our pets!”

“Erica has been a huge help to us, dropping by to take the girls out to potty I work very long days and she is accommodating. We really appreciate her and recommend her to anyone that needs help with their animals!”

About: I grew up on a farm and have cared for many different animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rodents, chickens and goats. I am comfortable giving animals medications and caring for senior pets. I am a student and I run a hair salon but because I am my own boss, I have freedom with my schedule. I am able to take pets into work and they can spend the day with me! I love walks, and know lots of fun trails and parks in the area. I have 3 friendly cats at home, they have been around many dogs and other animals with no problems at all. I do live in an apartment but it’s clean and 1000sq ft with an area outside that your pet can be let out on a leash.
“Debs and Paul were great for taking care of our 4 cats. Including 2 more difficult to give pill medication to. They sent regular updates and photos. Hell, they even brought in our garbage bins when we needed them to.”

“For the second round, Emmeline was a great caregiver to Aiko! She’s so engaging with her. Aiko requires a lot of mental stimulation which is my reasoning behind hiring a sitter for every trip. I’ve noticed Aiko is more settled once I’m home from traveling after Emmeline has cared for her. Thank you again!”

“Connie, you are fantastic! This was our first experience with Rover and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the service. Thank you for being so responsive, attentive, and kind. We’d love to have you back again soon to hang with our puppy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Jiani took great care of our two cats over a weekend, and she shared photos of them eating and playing. Cats were happy and healthy when we returned. While we are okay with people wearing shoes in our house, I appreciated that Jiani took off her shoes when we did the meet-n-greet with the cats”

“Hannah was wonderful. It's tough leaving my kiddos behind but she totally put my mind at ease and went above and beyond what I asked for. Absolutely beautiful pics as well. Her communication is prompt and she is very easy going. Thanks Hannah!!”
About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 4-month‑old black kitten I adopted in late May. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.

We had a great experience with Madysen! I made the booking extremely last minute, but Madysen was very accommodating and still made time for a meet & greet. She seemed very knowledgeable and followed all of our cat care instructions! It was also great to see our shy cat appear in photos and get some love since he usually hides until company leaves. Thanks so much Madysen!

Kailee was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! Her communication was amazing—she consistently sent updates and photos that always put my mind at ease. You could tell just from the pictures how happy and relaxed my cats were with her. My male cat can be quite shy around new people, but Kailee was so patient and gentle that she completely cracked through his shell, making him feel safe and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her again. Highly recommend!
Kathleen was absolutely wonderful with our two cats, Rosie and Teddy. Her communication was top-notch with consistent, thorough updates after every visit, and she genuinely cared for our pets as if they were her own. We couldn't have asked for a more reliable, caring sitter and will definitely be booking her again!
We'd worked multiple times with Clive, because we* (*including our cats) love him so much. He once again went above and beyond every day, although we had to book on a rather short notice this time. Some of the time coincided with a heatwave too, but he never missed a beat. He always gives our cats quality play time with plenty of pets. One of our cats is a little shy and he never comes out when there is a visitor, but Clive is a cat whisperer, so he comes out and rubs all over Clive (even shows his belly!). We trust Clive with all our heart, and highly recommend him if you ever need someone trustworthy, kind, and fun to look after your fur babies while you are gone.

Annie is so incredibly sweet and great with dogs!! My two dogs really loved her and she made me feel at ease with pictures/updates! Very communicative, understanding, kind, and all around a good human being. Will definitely keep her in mind for future bookings.

Amy has dropped in on my 3 cats multiple times when I’ve been out of town. She is always responsive and sends me the best pictures of my cats. I can tell she spends a lot of time playing with them and making sure they’re taken care of. I will always book with her if she’s available.

I cannot speak highly enough of Darlayna! She went above and beyond to take amazing care of our two cats and our home while we were away. She was in constant communication about how things were going and sent multiple pictures and videos every day, which we loved. She was extremely attentive to the cats' needs and any changes in their behavior, helping to make sure they were safe and comfortable. She was also kind enough to send us updates and help troubleshoot things going on at the house. I highly recommend her services and plan on hiring her every time we're away.
