“I highly recommend Lorena for pup-boarding! My jack-chi Philo stayed with Lorena and her family while I was out of town for 6 days, and - like someone else had mentioned about their dog - I feel like he had his own little vacation. My previous go-to sitter had moved out of town and I was a bit worried about finding someone who could meet the needs of my sensitive little boy. After reading Lorena's reviews, I had a very good feeling, and she even offered a meet and greet in person or phone beforehand. The care was excellent, with lots of pics of Philo out walking and updates. Their house was a great place for him too, with room to explore, get outside, and enjoy nature. And he even made some doggie friends while he was there. As Philo does sometimes, he wasn't eating all his food at first. After checking with me (I'd mentioned chicken is his favorite) Lorena gave him some chicken and he got a healthier appetite. The whole trip, I wasn't worried about Philo and knew he was in good hands which was a relief. Thank you Lorena!”

About: Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with all kinds of dogs: farm dogs, little dogs, a Great Dane in a studio apartment, and now our Mini Australian Shepherd. We have learned and refined our dog ownership skills over time, finally investing in professional training for both our dog and ourselves in 2025. That experience shaped the kind of care I offer today. I believe dogs thrive with clear structure, consistency, and calm communication. I strive to provide the kind of boarding experience I wish I could find for my own dog, where training, routines, and boundaries are respected while you're away. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, daily walks, and a very friendly Mini Australian Shepherd who enjoys canine company. Your dog won't be left alone for a typical workday. I do leave the house for school drop-offs and pick-ups, errands, or weekend activities. Dogs should be comfortable being alone for a few hours. Because I have both a young child and my own dog, I only accept dogs that: -Are friendly with children and other dogs. -Are up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. -Can comfortably settle into a family home.

About: I grew up on a farm and have cared for many different animals. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, rodents, chickens and goats. I am comfortable giving animals medications and caring for senior pets. I am a student and I run a hair salon but because I am my own boss, I have freedom with my schedule. I am able to take pets into work and they can spend the day with me! I love walks, and know lots of fun trails and parks in the area. I have 3 friendly cats at home, they have been around many dogs and other animals with no problems at all. I do live in an apartment but it’s clean and 1000sq ft with an area outside that your pet can be let out on a leash.

I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 4-month‑old black kitten I adopted in late May. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.

About: I work from home and love dogs and cats! However I cannot have my own at this time. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, having had both. In my free time, I used to volunteer taking dogs from a nearby shelter for walks, I find it personally just very rewarding (and great exercise)! Because I work from my home, I can be more flexible with my schedule. I live next to the Burke Gilman trail and love to take walks. I am active as a person (swimming, running, water polo) and can help get those energetic doggos get moving! Since I work from home I can manage my schedule (more flexibility) and can either walk dogs in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends can be more flexible depending on the weekend. I adopted a dog that was going to be euthanized because he was very aggressive. He only allowed me to feed him. After that I helped him become more friendly. About: I am the first to say “pick me!” when a friend is in need for a pet-sitter. I feel very comfortable around animals and love to be in their company. We, I and my husband have a 2.5 years old Miniature American Shepard, Iris. We have grown her up since she was about 2 months old. We live in a house with fenced backyard so your dog will have a good space to run around during the day time. I am not working and stay at home mostly so I can stay close to your dog so that they don't feel lonely during your absence, of course Iris is here for your dog too :). I will follow a specific schedule or your dog's needs like feeding time or walking time, or anything for making your dog feel as comfortable as possible. Drop-ins are always welcomed, but I don't drive so cannot come to pickup your pups sorry... My day starts with letting my dog go to the backyard then give her breakfast. After having a coffee I usually walk around with Iris and do some shores. play with toys and fetch in the backyard a few times during the daytime and go for a walk again in the evening. Feed dinner and do the last short walk for the potty around 10:30 pm before going to bed. We have a fenced yard so your dog can run around during the day. And living in a peaceful residential neighborhood allows us to walk around with pups safely. I care your dog as I care my dog for sure. A lot of plays and walks, and hugs. I will not leave your dog alone usually, but I will ask you first if it's inevitable. I also have a lot of toys in the house and different style of beds so your dog will find something fit for them! if they want :)

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I am active as a person (swimming, running, water polo) and can help get those energetic doggos get moving! Since I work from home I can manage my schedule (more flexibility) and can either walk dogs in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends can be more flexible depending on the weekend. I have a fenced yard with a great outdoor space. I also live close to the Burke Gilman trail and love walking to Matthews Beach park or Meadowbrook park. I have a car so can drive to other destinations.

About: I have recently been volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter, and am a foster parent to puppies, kittens and Adult dogs as needed if I can. I've been around all kinds of pets my whole life. I have worked at Dog Day 2 grooming and self wash in Everett, Burien Veterinary Hospital, and Mission Veterinary Clinic in Renton. About: I am patient and fun. I can go for long walks and will endeavor to keep your puppers engaged and entertained. I can accommodate to your furry babies needs, just reach out. I am a college student, so my schedule changes with the quarters. But if you reach out we can see if my schedule works or does not for your furr babies. I am happy to follow whatever schedule your family member(s) need. For my dogs I often take them for at least one walk a day. I carry treats around with me for good behavior. And I play and pet each dog equally, despite how cute one might be acting over another 😂
