About: I have had many pets over the years and have a soft heart for all animals. I am communicative, follow instructions, and am very responsible. Currently jobless and could really use the work until I find a new one. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and in home sitting currently. Feel free to message me with questions. I believe that transparent communication and honesty are important to being good with pets. Each visit will get you 2-4 pictures and a detailed Rover card of the visit. Currently, I have a fully fenced in yard, understand leash safety and being a pet owner myself, understand the responsibility of pets.

About: I am the first to say “pick me!” when a friend is in need for a pet-sitter. I feel very comfortable around animals and love to be in their company. We, my husband and I have a 2.5 year old Miniature American Shepard, Iris. We have grown her up since she was about 2 months old. We live in a house with a fenced backyard so your dog will have a good space to run around during the day. I am a full-time Rover dog-sitter so I can stay close to your dog most of the time, so that they don't feel lonely during your absence, of course Iris is here for your dog too :). I will follow a specific schedule or your dog's needs like feeding time or walking time, or anything for making your dog feel as comfortable as possible. Just let me know if you have any concerns or questions about your dogs or their stay! I am happy to talk about it and make their stay happier with you :) My day starts with letting my dog go to the backyard then give her breakfast around 7 am. After having a coffee I usually walk around with dogs before sun warms the ground up. I play with dogs with toys and fetch in the backyard a few times during the daytime and go for a walk again in the evening. Feed dinner around 6 pm and do the last short walk for the potty around 10:30 pm before going to bed. We take dogs to a dog park on weekends depending on the dog's personality, or dogs need more exercise. We have a fenced yard so your dog can run around during the day safely. And living in a peaceful residential neighborhood allows us to walk around with pups without any concern for broken glasses on the ground or someone shouting across the road... I care for your dog as I care for my dog for sure. Your dog is a part of our family during their stay! A lot of plays and walks, and hugs. I will not leave your dog alone usually, but I will ask you first if it's inevitable. I also have a lot of toys in the house and different style of beds so your dog will find something fit for them! if they want :) I wash all the toys once a week, vacuum clean once a day to keep our house clean and comfortable for both humans and dogs. Refresh dogs water 3.4 times or more as needed. Also, I always feed dogs under my supervision so that they can have the proper amount of their own food. I separate dogs to make a separate/safe room if necessary too. I normally take one or two clients at the same time for better supervision and meeting the individual needs. But it can be three depending on the demand likely in the holiday season. But I consider the temperament of the dogs beforehand to keep individuals safe and happy.

About: Saying I love animals doesn't even begin to describe it! I've had dogs my entire life, but have been dogsitting for friends, family and coworkers for the last 13 years. I’m a longtime volunteer at Seattle Animal Shelter as a dog walker and dog behavior team member, so I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and their quirks. I trained with a dog behaviorist to work with more challenging dogs in the shelter environment and use positive reinforcement training methods only, no exception. I was also a foster parent before adopting my sassy old lady, first fostering puppies (and getting really good at potty training!), before moving on to senior dogs who were struggling in the shelter. I've been vegan for a decade and know that animals are sentient beings with their own likes and dislikes, schedules they like to adhere to, and more — and I make sure to meet the pet where they're at. Specific Skills: Reactivity, Anxiety/Fear, Strong Pullers, Stranger Danger, Training Basics I work remotely on East Coast hours — my schedule has plenty of flexibility! I'm happy to accomodate based on your pet's needs and schedule. I would love to use my years of dog and cat handling experience to take your dog out to stretch its legs, hang out with your kitty and make sure their physical and emotional needs are fulfilled.

About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 4-month‑old black kitten I adopted in late May. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.

Lynn was great walking our doodle and poodle. Our doodle loves everyone but our poodle can be pretty shy. Lynn showed a lot of patience with her and got her in her harness and walked each time. She also had no problem with two good sized dogs. We hope Lynn will continue to help us out when needed.

About: I grew up with labs, have had dogs all the way from yorkies to huskies, and have come to love cats just as much. I have extensive experience with anxious and reactive dogs, and am able to bring a careful though and calm to lead the way for them. What You Can Expect: • Prompt, clear communication and fast response times • Consistent routine and thorough photo updates after every session • A free preliminary Meet & Greet to ensure a great fit before booking Reach out anytime—I’m looking forward to getting to know your furry family member! I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to give your pets some extra energy and attention, and with a flexible schedule. I'm hoping to benefit from the opportunity to be present and moving outdoors! After having pets of my own with plenty of reasons to give us anxiety, I'm highly attentive to the smaller things. For example, keeping doors/windows outside closed, administration of medication, or even shooing them off the couch/table.

About: Although I provide pet care occasionally, I have years of hands-on experience with a variety of animals. I grew up with bunnies and hamsters, and I now have two lovable cats of my own. I’ve also helped take care of friends’ dogs—whether it’s feeding, walking, or simply keeping them company. I’m often the one friends trust when they need someone dependable and gentle to look after their pets. I take on pet-sitting when my schedule allows, especially on afternoon, evenings or weekends. I enjoy making time to care for animals—it brings me a sense of calm and joy. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning litter boxes, or just sitting with a shy pet until they feel safe, I always go the extra mile to keep their routine and comfort intact. I’m a clean, tidy, and organized person who pays close attention to detail. You can trust that your home and pet will be well cared for. I’m patient and calm—great with animals who need a little time to warm up or those with particular routines. I follow all instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for in your absence.

About: I have recently been volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter, and am a foster parent to puppies, kittens and Adult dogs as needed if I can. I've been around all kinds of pets my whole life. I have worked at Dog Day 2 grooming and self wash in Everett, Burien Veterinary Hospital, and Mission Veterinary Clinic in Renton. I recently moved back to Burien and am looking to make some puppy friends, and a little income as well..I'm currently available as needed, and can provide your animal child/s with attention, walks, food, h20, play time, loves, and care as needed. A little about me, We recently had to say goodbye for now to our 16yr old Australian Shepherd, And it's been a sad time, but we know "Choco" is in a happy rainbow place. I look forward to meeting you, and your pets. Thanks for considering my help. Sincerely Julie

Jennie is one of the best dog walkers we’ve had! She clearly loves animals and is super thoughtful about the little details. For example, when she came to our house for the meet and greet, she messaged us instead of ringing the doorbell because she knew some dogs don’t like the sound of doorbells. He has been incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful with my dog. He’s patient and kind, as she is a puppy with a loud bark! He is always on time and does a great job keeping me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m not home. What really stands out is how attentive he is to her individual needs: she has a very thick coat, and he goes out of his way to take her to shaded, forested areas so she can stay comfortable and cool during her walks. He’s also been incredibly helpful when she’s had accidents or diarrhea in the house, including cleaning everything up without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend!
