About: I’m an experienced pet caregiver with a lifetime of animal companionship and care under my belt. Caring for dogs since age 11, I have since had experience working with dogs, cats, and rabbits, including puppy training. My approach centers patience and custom care for your pets’ needs. I seek to gain a detailed understanding of what makes your furry friends’ happy and content, even while their parents are away. I have experience with pet transport (I drove cross country with 2 cats and a rabbit!), medication delivery (including for rabbits), and basic grooming. My greatest delight is in giving your pet all the play time and exercise that they need. I find that dogs are quick to warm up to me, as I approach all new meetings with a calm, caring energy. I am comfortable around breeds of all types and households with multiple pets of different species. I delight in helping out busy households maintain the diverse needs of all their pets. I can’t wait to meet your animal companions and give them the first rate care they deserve! My schedule is flexible to accommodate the needs of your furry friends! I am available most days of the week in the morning and afternoon, with flexible availability during the evenings. When house sitting, I am available throughout the day to stay at your home (if required). During the evenings, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I would need to leave the home for a maximum of 3 hours. When house sitting, I treat my clients’ home environment with utmost respect. I ask detailed questions during the meet and greet process to understand the dynamics of the home and the specific needs of your pets. I pride myself on quick response times when communicating with clients about anything that comes up and in providing detailed updates on how your pets are doing while you are away.

About: I've been petsitting professionally in Seattle and the surrounding area since 1990, making it my full-time occupation at the end of 2021. As you might imagine, these thirty-plus years have given me a lot of experience with all kinds of pets and all manner of situations. Dogs, cats, birds, horses, reptiles, fish, turtles - I might be forgetting a species or two! - are in my repertoire, and I am well versed in basic daily care as well as those who need a little extra, whether that's because they're very young, very elderly, or need medications. My service specialty is overnight/"move-in" housesitting, basing out of your home for the length of my stay, keeping your pets relaxed and reassured by maintaining their routines in their own space, and assuring your home is secure in your absence! I'll do my best to maintain whatever schedule your pets have. :-) I am available for basic overnights (dinner through breakfast, with a walk), all the way up to constant (24-hr) care (additional rates apply.) My goal is to provide seamless care for your beasties, ensuring I maintain the same loving care - routines, meals, exercise, snuggles - that you would if you were home, reducing the stress of your absence to the best of my ability. Rover's prompt for this section is "How does pet care fit into your daily or weekly schedule" which seems silly as petcare IS my full-time schedule! Since my schedule allows for maximum flexibility, I can meet any special needs your critters may have. I'm welcoming to all those who need a little extra...something. :-D
