“I am new Rover user and Katie has been a godsend. She house sat/watched my pup when I was in Hawaii for a bit and did a great job. She's very good at providing details about the day and sending pictures of Biscotti. She also helped me out last minute when I ran up to Bellingham to see a friend. She rules. You should book her.”

“Josh is awesome! He’s got this down-to-earth, hippie vibe, and you can just tell he loves dogs deep in his soul. From the moment he met our pup, he was down on the floor giving her cuddles like they were old friends. Our dog has serious separation anxiety, and Josh totally picked up on that—he used his intuition and gave her exactly what she needed in the moment. She’s gone from lying on the bed all day, sadly accepting snacks like a little ball of depression, to heading out on big, happy walks with Josh. We’re so grateful. Thank you, Josh!”

“I would absolutely recommend booking with Rachael for her quick, clear communication and her absolute confidence in handling animals. We trusted Rachael with our 3 pets over 4th of July weekend. She did an amazing job ensuring the animals weren't too anxious, and taking the pup on long walks to tire him out. My dog is not always welcoming of new people in his life, but gained a lot of trust with rachael through a holiday that makes him nervous.”

“Sydney responded promptly to a request with little lead time. We arranged for the specifics of the dog care and she was very communicative throughout the entire process. I look forward to using Sydney again in the future. My pups were very happy and content when I got back to them after their walk :)”

“Nadiia was an incredible, you can clear see her true love for the animals! She went above and beyond, and made sure we felt at ease with how our dog during his walk. She is very attentive, and will ensure your pets are happy, I couldn’t recommend her enough!! She was able to accommodate us on short notice and work with our tight schedule. But she somehow still made sure our pup’s experience was front and center. Nadiia kept us updated with photo, and a summary updates which made it clear— Mochi had a fantastic time walking with Nadiia. Thank you!”

About: I grew up with all sorts of animals and currently have 4 pets. I have a 2 yo female Siberian husky and had 2 male American Eskimo dogs. I have 3 senior shelter cats that I fostered to adopt when they were kittens. I had backyard chickens before I moved to Seattle and would love to get some later. My cats tolerate my husky and Nova would love to play with your dog! I have a large fully fenced yard with enough space to run around and bird watch. If I were to board your cat, I can put them in a separate room. Your dog will be spoiled like my animals and will get walked at least once a day. I am currently not working so I am available to petsit and spend a lot of time loving on your pet. I walk my dog daily around the beach and take her occasionally to the off leash dog parks for extra stimulation and play. I have a fenced yard for your dog to play with my husky Nova. She would love a playdate! I will walk your dog to provide additional exercise and stimulation. I will provide supervised play to make sure everyone is safe! In your home, I will make sure your house and pets are safe and treat them like my family.
“Has done one walk with my dog and safe to say my puppy is in love with her! We have had hit and miss experiences on Rover in the past but this time feeling incredibly at ease with Emmi. Bonus points the pictures are adorable too!”

“Hilari was so great with my sometimes crazy golden! She met with us before which was great to show her his walking routine and I could tell he had a great time on the walk with her.”

“Meredith is a wonderful dog walker . She is prompt, has excellent communication, and takes lots pictures . She was immediately able to make a connection with our dog Lilly. And took into account the needs of senior pup. Will definitely be utilizing her again !”

That said, I do prefer to accompany all dogs in the backyard to supervise just in case! In the house, baby gates will block off our downstairs so your dog will never be out of site and when left alone, I prefer dogs to be crated or limited to a smaller free range areas. I am committed to keeping your dog safe in and out of the house!
About: I’m a former dog mom who misses the joy of having a furry friend around! Our sweet senior pup recently passed, and while we’re not quite ready to adopt again, we’d love to welcome visiting dogs into our home for snuggles, playtime, and companionship. Because our dog had some challenges with anxiety and reactivity, I’ve gained lots of experience using positive, gentle training methods to help pups feel safe and comfortable. I’m patient, understanding, and happy to give extra care to dogs who need a little more reassurance. Since I work part-time from home, I have a flexible schedule to ensure your pup can keep the same routines. I take care of only one pet at a time to ensure individual attention and make sure they feel safe, happy, and at home while they’re with me. My husband and I have a loving, pet-friendly home in West Seattle with a large fenced yard. We live in a safe, quiet, walkable neighborhood and I am close to Alki beach or Lincoln Park for some outdoor fun! I also made our home senior-dog friendly, with things like pet stairs and a pet stroller to help older pups stay comfy and included in everything I do. I know how important all the little routines and quirks are when it comes to your dog’s care. So feel free to share anything and everything—I want your pup to feel as loved and cared for as they do at home. I work 100% remotely from home with an extremely flexible, part-time work schedule and can cater to your dog’s schedule, needs and wants. I love to go on walks to Lincoln park or Alki beach and even have a pet stroller if your senior dog would prefer to ride rather than walk. I live on a quiet, dead-end street with a fully fenced backyard and I’ll always be outside with them when they’re in the yard. There’s plenty of space both inside and outside my home. I genuinely love being at home—having your dog with me will just make it even better!
