About: Hi! I'm Ginny (they/she) and I looooove animals. I'm a pet parent to a 2 year old kitty, grew up with black labs, and have many animal nieces and nephews in my life. I get along with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, and I especially like befriending shy animals. My day job is as a career coach with flexible hours, so my schedule can work around your needs. I'd describe myself as patient and warm, and I can't wait to care for your pet! I'm a career coach working fully remote with a flexible schedule, so I'm happy to spend time with your pets whenever is convenient for you. It's my goal to make sure your pet feels safe with me throughout our time together. For food motivated critters, I love to spoil them with treats, and for those with food intolerances (like my cat), I know that being patient and warm makes all the difference.

About: I’ve owned dogs for my whole life and I would love to help you free up some time in your day by walking your dog. I am attentive, reliable, and available without much notice. I’m comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, energy levels, as well as managing typical leash behavior and maintaining safety during walks. I work best with dogs that are reasonably well behaved, with some lenience. I am excited to provide your pet with safe and engaging exercise. I am educated on dog CPR. I am a healthcare worker familiar with administering oral or injected medications, and I have experience administering these to dogs. I’m currently between jobs, so I am available promptly and without much notice, between the hours of 6am-3pm on weekdays. Reach out to me for walks outside of this timeframe and I can work with your schedule. I tailor walks to your dog’s needs based on their comfort and individual needs. I make sure dogs get appropriate exercise based on their age, energy, and physical abilities while being aware of our surroundings. During walks, I monitor dogs for signs of stress, overheating, fatigue, or discomfort.
“Nadiia was an incredible, you can clear see her true love for the animals! She went above and beyond, and made sure we felt at ease with how our dog during his walk. She is very attentive, and will ensure your pets are happy, I couldn’t recommend her enough!! She was able to accommodate us on short notice and work with our tight schedule. But she somehow still made sure our pup’s experience was front and center. Nadiia kept us updated with photo, and a summary updates which made it clear— Mochi had a fantastic time walking with Nadiia. Thank you!”

“Jenae was great with my dogs. Both my 15 year old senior dog and 8 month old puppy were well cared for and had fun with Jenae while I was at work. I’d recommend booking with Jenae for your pet care needs. Thank you for your help! 🙂”

“Sydney responded promptly to a request with little lead time. We arranged for the specifics of the dog care and she was very communicative throughout the entire process. I look forward to using Sydney again in the future. My pups were very happy and content when I got back to them after their walk :)”

About: Although I've been a cat person all my life, I've also always loved dogs. Recently my family members have been adopting dogs into their various collections of pets, including a Manchester terrier who has decided I'm his second favorite person (besides my mom, and I can't blame him there!). I've absolutely loved the opportunity to care for him when my parents travel a few times a year, and will absolutely bring that same level of enthusiasm to caring for your pup! I'm primarily self employed, as well as doing gig work, so I have a lot of flexibility to give your pet the care they need on a schedule that works for you! I'm most often available on weekdays, as the gigs I do usually fall on weekends. I'm very interested in learning your pet's personality, and taking the time needed to get them comfortable with me. I'm particularly good at "cat language", but am dedicated to learning "dog language" as well. I'd also love to hear from you about your pet's likes, dislikes, preferences, and anything else I should know to give them the best experience possible!

“Meredith is so loving and caring. She is understanding of my older dog Luna’s needs and provides just the right amount of TLC. She communicates with me after every walk and sends a picture. I hate being away from my pup, but I’m more at ease knowing that Meredith will be there.”

About: From cats to dogs and anything in between— I would love to take care of your pet! I’ve been around animals my entire life. Currently, I’m an animal foster parent and I’m looking to watch some extra furry friends when I don’t have a foster in my care! I have experience with puppies and kittens, elderly pets, and medical cases. No matter the challenge, I’m willing to meet it and see your animal first and foremost as a member of your family! I look forward to meeting and caring for your furry friends! I’m currently working a full time job on a hybrid schedule. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays which allows me ample time for flexible pet care. My weekends are typically free and I’m happy to sit and care for plenty of furry friends I’m an outdoorsy individual and I typically walk 2-3 miles a day on my own. I’m willing and able to let dogs sniff to their hearts content! For feline friends, I’m adept at reading body language and cues. I will meet them where they’re at whether that means playtime, snuggle time, or quiet time.
About: I have cared for animals all of my life. Friends and family rely on me to walk and care for their animals when they can’t be there, both in my home and theirs. My hours are set for days and times that I am home and able to be with your pet. I will follow whatever routine you prefer. For overnight stays, I am able to provide frequent potty breaks on the weekends and Tuesdays, which is my work from home day. The rest of the week I commute to Seattle and I’m gone for 8-9 hours a day. I also have a teenager that is with me every other week, so if you’re looking for someone to stay in your home, it’s possible my child would also be present. Thanks for your consideration! I have a fenced in yard and lots of places to walk around the neighborhood. If caring for your pet in your own home, we can stick to whatever routine you lay out. I do work an on-site job 4-days/ week so I’m away during the most weekdays.

“Christina was super flexible with a last minute request to walk my very high energy German shepherd puppy. She took him on a great loop around the neighborhood and provided picture updates from the walk. Absolutely would book again!”

About: I’m a Flight Attendant so I am out of town too often to have my own dog, let me take care of yours! I grew up in a household full of daschunds so those are my favorites. In the past 15 years of flying I have also lived with a jack russell terrier a boxer and a Maltese. I love smaller breeds but am happy to take care of larger dogs as well. I love taking dogs for hikes on trails and also exploring new neighborhoods. A trip to a dog park is always a fun time as well. I have a few friends who travel a lot and I am the first person they always ask to be their pet sitter. I’m happy to walk your dog wherever your dog prefers or stay at your place if you need a sitter (unfortunately my apartment doesn’t allow pets). I love taking care of animals and walking them and I would be happy to care for them any time that I am not working I am not allowed to have pets in my apartment but I’m happy to babysit at your home. I will take care of your dog(s) however you like me too.
About: I have been taking care of my own and my friend's pets since I was 10 years old. I have experience with cats and dogs from different sizes and ages. At the moment I live with and take care of my sweet Filipa. I currently work from home self-employed, so I have plenty of time, willing and flexibility to care for cat or dogs, besides my own kitty. I have a spare guest room if your pet needs to stay with me. I will walk them and feed them according to your directions. They will be sharing the house with my cat. I can also visit your pets at your house or walk them as needed.
“Katie was amazing! Always let me know if she was running a few min late. My dogs loved her, and she handled them well (they're strong pullers). Very positive attitude, even when the rain was just bucketing down! Would definitely recommend, and will use her again next time I need a dog walker :-)”

About: Lifelong dog lover. From puppies to seniors, small breeds to large. Olive, my adventure buddy of 12 years, taught me the joy of shared trails and couch cuddles. I see each dog as a unique soul, deserving of sniff filled walks, new adventures outdoors, and gentle care for a well loved life. I work from home so I have flexibility in my day to watch your pup! I work EST so I am off in the mid-afternoon which gives us plenty of time to hang out and get a good long walk in. Your home and your pet’s comfort are priority. I like to leave things better than I found them and respect the space I’ve been invited into.
Alki dog parents share their Rover experiences
Eleanor was absolutely fantastic! She was early to our first meet and greet and went above and beyond to make my timid dog feel comfortable. I appreciated her detailed communication during her care of Penny over the weekend. I could relax knowing Penny was in good hands. Eleanor is reliable, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend her!

Aliye your calm & kind demeanor are perfect to help my rescue dog’s anxiety! I appreciate your listening carefully to my information about her & being willing to jump in and play her favorite game of tug, She is A LOT of dog to play with! But as you saw today, also sweet & loving. I feel confident you two will have a good week while I’m away.

Kimberly jumped right in to help me and my mom walk my sometimes anxious dog. She gave full reports on the potty movements while walking and the exciting times she ran into bunnies. Kimberly has been flexible on the days when we need to changes the times and one day when Millie did not want to walk. Photos and walk routes were provided. I will use Kimberly again!

We adopted our dog two weeks ago and Michaela has been helping with midday walks a few days a week. So grateful for her patience and care. Our pup is still adjusting, but she handled every visit and walk with calm and kindness. She is responsible and respectful of our home.

Joline offered to walk my dog with another companion dog and without. Gigi is very dog friendly and really enjoyed walking with a new friend and I liked having the choice available. Joline brought my dog back safe and sound, and Gigi even gave her a small appreciation kiss! We would easily ask her to walk Gigi again, or even babysit her.
