About: I’m an animal lover who has been taking care of and walking dogs for most of my life. I recently became a cat lover too! Learning the unique personality of animals brings me so much joy, and providing them with love and affection in the way they specifically like to receive it is one of my gifts. My day job is remote so I have the flexibility to care for animals through my day and work from alternate locations when needed. Before I moved to Seattle, I cared for my mom’s senior toy poodle, Coco, 3 days per week. Coco (who is more baby than dog and absolutely loves being held) developed some special needs and particularities as she aged so I was happy I could be there to take extra special care of her. I tend to do very well with senior dogs though I enjoy and love animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and dispositions. My boyfriend has an 11 year old shepherd mix named Jax (pictured in my profile) who is very hesitant around new people. I finally won him over with my enthusiasm for his daily walks and the consistency with which we’d go together. Now we are best buddies and he even wags his tail when he sees me or when I tell him how handsome he is. My approach is different with each animal I meet, and I focus on providing them the love and care they specifically require. I work remotely from 6am to 2pm PST. I am available from 2pm to 5pm during the week for walks. I can also step away during my work day for about 30 minutes at a time as long as your home is close by. I treat my clients homes as if they were my own and will always leave your space better than I found it. I am attentive and reliable and I will follow any special instructions you may have about your home or your animal.

About: Hi, I’m Rachel! A dog-loving, hybrid worker who needs to go outside more! My husband and I would love to watch your dog! We have a dog named Jane that loves dogs of any size and loves the company! I would love to take your dog for a walk during my breaks or stop by and make sure they are doing well if you need drop in visits! I grew up with dogs my entire life and absolutely love them. My husband and I adopted our dog 3 years ago and can bring her along if you would like (she loves other dogs), but can also do solo walks as well! Excited to meet your pups! I work hybrid (two days in the office, three days at home). When I work from home, I can take breaks and take walks or stop by for drop-ins! In my care, I will listen to your pets needs. I go on walks called “sniff-aris” with my dog where I just let her take the lead and go where she wants to go and sniff away. And I can do that with your dog as well! Sniffing relieves anxiety!

About: I've taken care of dogs all my life. From Aussie puppies to aging 16 year old fosters, I've done it all and know exactly how to care for every dogs needs. I volunteer for Old Dog Haven fostering hospice dogs and have cared for dozens of dogs. I am very skilled with rescues and shy/anxious dogs as well as more fun playful types. My fully fenced yard provides plenty of space for play and exercise with 100% supervision. I love dogs! I'm currently home 24/7 so your dogs will have company the entire time they're with me. I have a fully fenced yard for the dogs to play in, as well as multiple (some say too many) dog beds around the house. There are nearly hundreds of toys around the house to keep the dogs plenty busy. I have scheduled dog walks every morning, midday, and afternoon/evening for the dogs that prefer walks over outdoor backyard time. A typical day will include breakfast and lounging, a walk around the neighborhood, a few treats, some playtime in the yard, and relaxing into the evening with dinner. I have a fenced yard and two very friendly dogs, Beef and Winkle. Beef is a 2 y/o and loves active play, and Winkle is a foster dog from Old Dog Haven who could lounge all day every day and be more than happy. I meet every dog where they're at and make sure they get what they need to have a good time!

About: I have cared for several cats and dogs from kittens and puppies to seniors. I attended obedience training years ago with our dog and learned many skills. I am retired and have a lot of time to devote towards your pets, be it on walks, potty breaks or playing with toys in the house. I really enjoy dogs & cats as they are great company. Our 2 cats are indoor only and get plenty of attention through play daily. Play is an important part in owning a pet as is attention. Our pets are part of our family. I will make sure to secure your home and keep your pets safe.

About: My 4 cats can loudly attest to my animal-whispering abilities. So can my 2 dogs back home. Grew up in a household with dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits (the list goes on!) in all stages of life, so I’ve got lots of experience dealing with pet problems and dishing out love! Currently between jobs, so I have very flexible availability during the day, evenings, and weekends. Happy to work around your pet’s normal routine and can accommodate walks, drop-ins, or longer stays with plenty of notice. I've also got a car so I can drive to you and transport your pets if needed. I prefer caring for pets in their own home when possible, where they're at their happiest and most confident. I can also host pets at my apartment depending on the situation. I have a large balcony and four cats of my own, so we’ll just make sure everyone is a good match beforehand.

About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 4 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work two to three days a week for no more than 4 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 7 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night. I do host up to 3 dogs at a time and have a small pup of my own, so I ask that your dog is well socialized.
