About: Howdy! I’ve been around dogs/cats my whole life and even worked in pet retail! I love animals and can provide all of the love they need/deserve. I have many friends and family members who have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and love their fur babies. I’m an outdoorsy gal so love to go on walks and have a lot of energy for playtime (and of course snuggle time). I have no allergies :) I look forward to chatting and hopefully getting to meet your furry friend/s! I work full time and in-person Wednesday to Friday with Seattle Parks and Rec. Occasionally, I can run home and let the doggos out for a midday potty break and will keep you updated regarding my schedule. Because of my schedule, I am unavailable to do any midday drop-ins or walks on these days. I like to go on walks or spend time outside and would love to take dogs on outings! I like to replicate their schedule as much as possible. I am a clean and tidy individual for home stays and try to leave a small footprint.

About: I love pets and recognize each pet is an individual with unique needs, behaviors, temperaments and interests. I have always had pets including many dogs and cats throughout my life. I have also had guinea pigs, gerbils/hamster's, fish and even a rat! Throughout my life I have studied animal behavior too. I have taken many dog training classes and even pet first aid. My schedule is flexible and I am reliable, organized, and tidy. I also know a lot about greener living because I am an environmental educator. My schedule is flexible and I am available most days including weekends and evenings. I have a lot of time to care for your pets including walks, feeding, activities and lots of pets and lots of love. I have 25+ years of experience caring for dogs, cats and smaller pets too (rabbits, gerbils, and fish). I have lots of experience walking dogs in our local neighborhoods and parks. Your pets safety is my #1 concern and a close second is making sure they are happy and getting the love, attention and exercise they need while in my care.

About: Thank you for viewing my profile. Please read it in its entirety before sending a boarding request, as a lot of your questions can be answered in the text. The two questions i get the most are am I home all day with the dogs and how many dogs do you watch at one time? I am retired so except for running errands, etc, your dog(s) will be supervised at all times.I DO watch dogs from different households at the same time, having had as many as 8 Rover dogs at once If this is a concern I invite you to come down and meet us, to see how mellow and manageable it is, and how happy the dogs are to be in the company of other dogs. I never watch a dog without meeting it first so this ensures that everyone gets along and it's a good fit. My mom runs a no-kill animal shelter in Florida so I guess you could say it's in my blood. I currently have 2 dogs (the last dog i adopted was from an elderly Rover client who could no longer take care of him) but i've had as many as 4 at one time. Always small dogs, which is what I'm most comfortable with. I've adopted, loved and cared for dogs through all their stages of life, in "sickness and in health", so I'm quite aware of the quirkiness that comes with a dog that has a history. At the moment I’m not boarding puppies because my older dogs can’t handle all the high energy of the youngsters. Nothing brings me more joy than watching these little dogs come out of their shell during the stay. Their tail going from tucked, unsure, "what am I doing here", to full wag! Many owners have told me that when they get to the top of my hill their dog starts getting excited, they know they're coming to my house and they are happy about it. They march right up my steps with zero hesitation. They might not sleep with us on day one, but they almost always find their way into the bed by the time they leave. My goal is to have them feel like one of the pack, loved and secure, safe and happy. I recently retired after 40+ years in the hospitality industry so I will be home with your dog(s) day and night. There's nothing i love more than being in the company of dogs, so watching them is my passion. I will treat your dog(s) like my own. I live in the Arroyo's, a private beach neighborhood in Arbor Heights, West Seattle. I have a gate on the front door so the dogs can't run out if the door opens, though there's hardly any traffic where I live. I have a fully fenced in backyard, perfect for potty breaks and sunbathing. Your dog will never be left unattended in the yard .Inside I have dog beds throughout the house that move with the sunspot. I have cameras to watch the dogs when i'm not home (spoiler alert, they sleep), and WE HAVE AC!

I helped build a dog daycare here in Seattle, so I’ve spent years learning how dogs actually behave—who wants to play, who needs a break, and how to make sure everyone stays safe and happy. At home, we keep that same vibe—but way more personal. Our dog Bud (2 years old) is the host. He’s friendly, playful, and great with other dogs—basically the guy who makes sure everyone feels welcome. If your dog likes to play, they’ll have a blast. If they prefer to chill, we’ve got cozy spots for that too. My wife (originally from Colombia 🇨🇴) has been around dogs her whole life and brings a ton of warmth and attention to every pup that walks through the door. What your dog gets: 🐾 Supervised play (no chaos, just good energy) 🐾 A safe, calm environment 🐾 Plenty of attention, affection, and breaks when needed 🐾 A new best friend in Bud We keep things small, intentional, and stress-free—so your dog isn’t just “watched”… they’re part of the pack. Dogs basically run our schedule 😊 We walk Bud three times a day, and since we’re home most of the day, there’s always someone around for playtime, snuggles, or a quick potty break. Your dog just joins right in. In our home, dogs are part of the daily routine—not just “watched.” We provide structured care with three walks a day, supervised play, and plenty of downtime when needed. We do have a partially fenced yard, but we don’t rely on it—dogs are always supervised outside and primarily get their exercise through regular walks. Because of my daycare background, I pay close attention to each dog’s personality—whether they want to play, relax, or have their own space—and make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and can’t imagine life without them. I’ve cared for my own cat through the end of his sickness and regularly helped my neighbor’s chronically ill cat by giving her medication while they were away. I also grew up with dogs, including my family’s very attention-loving pup. I loved taking him on long walks, training him with treats, and playing with him at his favorite spot—the beach. Since my family pets are no longer here, I’ve been able to fulfill my love for animals through Rover, and I am happy to spread some of that love to your pets! I’m at home for most or all of the week, besides having to run errands here and there. Because of this, I have plenty of time and flexibility to provide the attention your pet needs. :) I will abide by the rules of your household and make sure your pet is safe and in my company always, if necessary. During walks, I will make sure they are on leash and cleaned up after! At your house, I will feed them whenever their meal times are and give them the attention they want and love. I will also always keep an eye on them to make sure they behave, and tell them "no" when necessary!

I spent most of my formative years caring for animals, and our family dogs were constant and faithful companions. And now, as a mother of three young people, I am in the business of nurturing, loving, and guiding. I'm a calm, and patient mom, but love activities and chasing around my three boys!
