About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent years around pups of every size, breed, and personality. I’m comfortable with dogs who are reactive or who love to pull on the leash, and I stay calm, patient, and confident on walks. I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs for many years, whether that means staying with them while their people travel or stopping by for walks, meals, and some extra love. I know how hard it can be to leave your pup when you’re away, and my goal is to put your mind at ease so you can actually enjoy your time without worrying about how they’re doing. I’m always happy to send photos, videos, or updates whenever you want them. I’m reliable, attentive, and I’ll always put your dog first. I want your pup to feel safe, happy, and genuinely cared for every moment they’re with me. I work fully remote, which means I’m able to hang out with your pup all day and night while you’re away. I’m around for playtime, cuddles, walks, and anything else they need throughout the day. I’m also super flexible with potty breaks and feeding times, so your dog can stay on their normal routine and feel as comfortable as possible. My goal is to make their days feel familiar and happy while giving you total peace of mind. Since I’ll be caring for your pets in your home, I always follow your preferences and routines to keep things feeling familiar and safe for your pup. I’m respectful of whatever rules you have in place, whether that means keeping them off the furniture, crating during certain times, or sticking to specific boundaries. I’m comfortable hanging out with your dog in the living room while I work on my laptop, giving them company and a calm presence throughout the day. If your pup prefers more space or quiet time, I’m just as happy to give them that too. I’m flexible and attentive to what each dog needs, and I do my best to maintain the environment and routine that helps them feel secure and at home. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and understood while you’re away, and to make the experience smooth and stress‑free for everyone.
“We were able to enjoy our family vacation because Holly was an excellent petsitter who kept us informed about the daily routines and highlights. Our dogs received lots of attention and care; the numerous photos Holly shared with us was evidence of her loving care. We are convinced that Holly is the best!”

About: I have been caring for a wide range of pets since I was 10 years old, growing up with dogs, cats, and Guinea pigs. As a kid I would frequently walk neighbors dogs and look after pets when my neighbors were away. My love for animals led me to volunteer at a veterinary hospital when I was 14, which turned into a job at 16. I have 8 years experience working with a local vet and 30 years experience as a pet caretaker and owner. Our family currently has our big boy, Bear. He is a calm and patient 8 year old 150lb silver lab with food allergies and other medical needs, so we have experience in administering oral, topical and injectable medications, as well as dealing with dietary restrictions. We look forward to caring for your dog! We are an active family, so multiple walks a day are standard. I work from home, so we are always around to give your doggo the love and care they deserve. Our home is situated in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street close by multiple parks. We have a secure, fully fenced 3500 square foot backyard with access into the house through a dog door. Our dog is fed twice a day, but can accommodate any feeding/potty break schedule your dog has.
“Timothy always goes above and beyond for us, like bringing in our packages even though we didn't ask (thank you Timothy!!). Our cat Pepper loves him very much, which is saying something because she is a very shy girl. We always feel good leaving her in Timothy's care.”

“Chris did a wonderful job with our senior kitties, particularly our very scared one who warmed up to them almost immediately! We had a really negative past pet sitter experience years ago and haven't traveled since then, and they set our minds at ease with the meet and greet and were warm and communicative throughout the time we were gone. We'll absolutely book with them again in the future!”

About: I love pets and recognize each pet is an individual with unique needs, behaviors, temperaments and interests. I have always had pets including many dogs and cats throughout my life. I have also had guinea pigs, gerbils/hamster's, fish and even a rat! Throughout my life I have studied animal behavior too. I have taken many dog training classes and even pet first aid. My schedule is flexible and I am reliable, organized, and tidy. I also know a lot about greener living because I am an environmental educator. My schedule is flexible and I am available most days including weekends and evenings. I have a lot of time to care for your pets including walks, feeding, activities and lots of pets and lots of love. I have 25+ years of experience caring for dogs, cats and smaller pets too (rabbits, gerbils, and fish). I have lots of experience walking dogs in our local neighborhoods and parks. Your pets safety is my #1 concern and a close second is making sure they are happy and getting the love, attention and exercise they need while in my care.

“Tim did an awesome job! My dog gets a bit nervous around new people and tends to shell herself but around him she warmed up quickly enjoyed him stopping by!”

About: I have cared for cats and dogs since I was eight years old, when I began helping neighbors with their pets and plants. Cocker Spaniels were among the first dogs I learned to care for at home, and I have continued caring for pets throughout my life. As a teenager, I began house sitting while caring for homeowners’ pets, and I have provided pet and home care ever since. I have also spent more than five years caring for two special-needs cats of my own. That personal experience has made me especially comfortable with pets who need patience, consistency, medication, or a little extra help adjusting. One of my cats has one eye and some spatial sensitivities. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she has grown from a very shy cat who hid whenever she could into a confident, playful, and wonderfully talkative companion. I genuinely enjoy taking the time to earn a shy pet’s trust and helping them feel safe. My other cat has diabetes, so I have experience administering insulin injections twice a day and carefully following an established medical routine. I am also comfortable giving pills and liquid medications by syringe to both cats and dogs. I have cared for senior pets, puppies, kittens, and animals with additional needs, and I am attentive to changes in their behavior, appetite, mobility, and comfort. I have cared for dogs with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities—from Chihuahuas, Corgis, Cocker Spaniels, and terriers to high-energy German Shorthaired Pointers and strong, enthusiastic Staffordshire Terriers. I am comfortable adapting my care to each dog’s individual temperament, routine, and activity needs. When pet parents are away, I communicate openly, provide regular updates, and follow each pet’s individual routine and care instructions closely. When needed, I have taken pets to pre-scheduled veterinary appointments while their owners were away and communicated closely with them before and after the visit. During house sits, I am respectful of the home and keep it clean and tidy. I am also happy to help with simple household tasks such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, and vacuuming pet areas. My schedule allows me to be home for most of the day, so I can provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication, and companionship. I am comfortable following detailed routines and can adjust activity and attention based on each pet’s age, energy level, and individual needs. I will always communicate clearly in advance about any periods when your pet may be left alone. In my home, pets have access to a large, securely fenced grassy yard, along with nearby parks and walking trails. I can also provide a private room away from my resident cats for pets who need quiet space, gradual introductions, or separation from other animals. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and supervision instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and never introduce pets without considering their comfort and safety. I provide regular updates and will promptly contact you if I notice any changes in your pet’s behavior, appetite, mobility, or overall well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their established routine and keep the home and pet areas clean and tidy.
“Christina did an excellent job caring for our cats while we were away. She spent a good amount of time with them, playing and cuddling, and she took great pictures. She also took great care of our house - everything was just as we left it. She even took out the trash on trash day.”

“Brandee saved me today when I needed someone to walk and feed my boys at the last minute. She was easy to communicate with and sent me photos so I knew they were taken care of. Thank you, Brandee!”

“Morgan was great for my (shy) cat (Bento) quickly getting him to come out and engage. Morgan made his visits around the same time each May, always sent pics and a report, and spent time keeping Bento company and active.”

“There's not much more I can say about Law! On time, attentive, caring, and COMMUNICATIVE! SO many times I've asked for a visit with short notice, and Law never flinches!”

“Francheska was proacative to set up a meet and greet. She was punctual on the day of service and took lots of photos while caring for my pet. I would recommend her in the future and will reach out next time I need help!”

“Francesca is amazing! She not only checked in on our baby but spent time helping her to learn commands! Cupcakke loves her and we will use her any time she is available! Highly recommend!”

“Molly took great care of our cat while we were out of town! She followed our instructions, gave medicine, and provided daily updates to give us peace of mind while traveling.”

“Jeremy was a great match for our big guy Bruce (90 lb Great Dane/American Bulldog mix with lots of energy). Bruce took to him instantly. Jeremy handled walking, feeding and playing. I'll be calling him again.”

About: I'm a personal chef who works from home. I live with my husband, Daniel, who works in IT and also works from home. We have 2 adorable Westies, Beans and Riso. One of us is almost always home, so your loved one won’t be lonely. We frequent a lot of parks in the area when we aren’t playing “chase the squirrel” in the backyard. We love dogs and our dogs like to socialize. Let’s have a quick “Meet and Greet” initially to see that your dog is comfortable in our home. Let us know if we can be of assistance to your family. We look forward to meeting you. Have a great day!! -Richard, Daniel, Beans and Riso I'm a personal chef who works from home. I live with my husband, Daniel, who works in IT and also works from home. About: Dogs teach us some important life lessons, like being in the moment and doing what makes our tails wag! I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember, and each one has been unique and amazing. Many people say dogs aren’t aware or are even “dumb”. I couldn’t disagree more, and I strive to listen to each dog and meet them from a place of respect. Engaging with a dog is a partnership that I adore. I had dogs growing up and at times as an adult (not right now). I have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I enjoy snuggle time, play time, hiking, taking them swimming, and also letting them relax and do their own thing. I am a Reiki Master healer and work with humans and animals. I am also quite intuitive, which is helpful in understanding cues and meeting animals where they are. I’d love to care for your dog(s), and if house sitting will take incredible care of your home/plants/dogs. I am detail oriented, very respectful, and a wonderful communicator. I look forward to working with you and your pup(s)! I work from home Monday through Wednesday and at a retail location in West Seattle Friday through Sunday. I am up early in the morning about 6:00 AM, and am typically in bed by 10:00 PM. I’m generally around quite a bit aside from my retail job. I will not bring guests over while housesitting. I do not smoke. I do not currently offer pet sitting in my home. I can come to your home for all services and am comfortable with whatever setup you have. If you have a cat, I will need a cat and cat hair-free bedroom to sleep in due to allergies (which I can manage well in the home but just need an allergen-friendly bedroom).
The median cost per visit for pet sitting in Arbor Heights is $25

We asked Karen to watch our cat for two weeks while we were on vacation, and we could not be happier! Bleu is usually very standoffish with new people -- it takes him a while to warm up. But he bonded with Karen immediately. She was great -- on top of everything and very responsive. She sent pictures and updates every time she dropped in, and she was so friendly with both us and Bleu. When you love your animals as we do, it's tough to leave them in the hands of people you don't know. Now that we know Karen, she's Bleu's person from now on when we're not home. We would give her the highest possible recommendation.

Pinar has checked in on my kitties on several different occasions & every time she has gone above & beyond! From all the photos & thorough report cards, it's always apparent that my cats are loved on & very well cared for whenever she comes by. Any furry friend would be lucky to be under her care!

Lisa was amazing! She took such wonderful care of Luna while we were away. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing Luna had someone kind and attentive checking in on her. Luna was happy, relaxed, and clearly enjoyed having the company. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely book with Lisa again. Highly recommend!

Dani is great! We had a wonderful experience with Dan. He was incredibly flexible with scheduling, quick to respond to messages, and consistently send great pictures. Most importantly, it was clear that he genuinely cared about our cat’s well-being and comfort. We would not hesitate to book with him again and highly recommend!

Sarah is incredible! She was communicative and asked thoughtful questions from our first meeting. She maintained communication during the visit and sent tons of wonderful photos of our fur babies. We are so grateful that they were so well loved and cared for while we were away. We look forward to having her sit for us again in the future!
