I'm currently working a hybrid job, so I'll have plenty of free time and the capacity to play and care for your fur companion! My daily schedule is flexible and can accommodate most schedules for boarding clients. For weekday drop-ins, I'm able to accommodate early morning or after 5PM schedules.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fully fenced grass yard attached to a townhome style house. I have two resident dogs - a Mini Aussie, Banjo, who is reserved around human strangers, but he happily welcomes well-mannered pets (especially if your pup is an Aussie), and a Golden Retriever, Birdie, who is a high-energy eager to please pup that lives for human attention! If your dog is with me, I'm happy to take them on walks with my dogs and supervised play time. My dogs are fully kennel trained, as well, so if your dog needs a breather, mine will happily comply.

Information Mackensi M. would like to know about your pet
I will want to know: -Is your dog reactive towards other dogs, children, or new people? -What is the typical daily activity level of your pet? -Eating schedule? -Allergies? -Separation anxiety? -Is your dog an escape artist? What to do in the case she/he gets away.
A typical day
We can relax, play in my yard, or go on walks. My dogs will play with your dog as well or respect their space if they prefer.

Pet care experience
I love working with dogs and animals; I've always had my own dog and volunteer with shelter dogs. I'm happy to do whatever your dog's normal routine asks for. I'll play, sit, and even go on a run with your dog. I've attended and trained 3 dogs of my own and have been educated through professional dog trainers and the humane society. Additionally, I've cat sit for many of my local friends, as well. I've worked many years as a Lead Dog Walker and Cattery Specialist for my local Humane Society (tasks include cleaning kennels, feeding, walking/ playtime, potty breaks, bathing, and ethics). I've been trained by the Humane Society regarding dog behavior and appropriate walking skills. I know how to handle unfamiliar dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. My love for animals is huge! When you're not home to be with your dog or cat, I'd love to make your animal feel at home.

Reviews

Kensi did a great job watching Acorn while I was away. Acorn was happy. Would recommend and use again

Mackensi helped us last minute with a check in for our two dogs. Seemed like they couldn’t get enough of her cuddles and attention from the photos. Will be booking again!

Mackensi was very responsive and took great care of our cat!

Mackenzie helped me in a pinch with a drop in for my pups! She was very communicative and took stellar care of both of them (one is a 5 month old puppy). Will be booking again in the future ☺️
