About: My pet sitting experience started after babysitting for families in and around the neighborhood and when the kids grew up or the family would travel, I would house sit or pet sit for them. Sometimes it would be two very active husky’s who walked 3 two mile walks a day, 5 long haired cats with two dogs and a bird, or just 2 cats to look after over the weekend. I love to make sure they are loved and cared for while being away from their favorite person! I have open availability for when you need me! I work from home so if coordinated in advance, I am able to be pretty flexible. I’ve always taken great care of my clients home when pet sitting. I treat their place as if it is my own and always make sure the space is cleaner than when I arrive.

My husband and I fostered seven dogs before and during the pandemic, and have been dog sitting for about 20 years for friends. I did quite a bit of behavior work with the foster dogs, although I am not a trainer. I have worked with leash reactive dogs - note: if your dog is reactive, I will use a prong collar. No pets/no kids/no smoking/drugs. I am doing some part-time remote work, but generally either my husband or myself are home for most of the day. However, if a dog cannot be left alone for at least 4 hours, add $25 surcharge per day. I love to walk and would love to have company! I am also happy to host your dog during the day at my home in West Seattle. I have a small fenced yard, and our neighborhood has lots of green spaces for walks. As mentioned above, I love to walk and walk several miles every day regardless! Dog friendly open-plan townhouse with hardwood floors, pics in the gallery. Note: We live in a pretty dense neighborhood with lots of other dogs that can be heard now and again. If you have a highly reactive dog that barks at outside noises, this may not be the best fit.
