About: I’m an animal lover who has been taking care of and walking dogs for most of my life. I recently became a cat lover too! Learning the unique personality of animals brings me so much joy, and providing them with love and affection in the way they specifically like to receive it is one of my gifts. My day job is remote so I have the flexibility to care for animals through my day and work from alternate locations when needed. Before I moved to Seattle, I cared for my mom’s senior toy poodle, Coco, 3 days per week. Coco (who is more baby than dog and absolutely loves being held) developed some special needs and particularities as she aged so I was happy I could be there to take extra special care of her. I tend to do very well with senior dogs though I enjoy and love animals of all shapes, sizes, ages, and dispositions. My boyfriend has an 11 year old shepherd mix named Jax (pictured in my profile) who is very hesitant around new people. I finally won him over with my enthusiasm for his daily walks and the consistency with which we’d go together. Now we are best buddies and he even wags his tail when he sees me or when I tell him how handsome he is. My approach is different with each animal I meet, and I focus on providing them the love and care they specifically require. I work remotely from 6am to 2pm PST. I am available from 2pm to 5pm during the week for walks. I can also step away during my work day for about 30 minutes at a time as long as your home is close by. I treat my clients homes as if they were my own and will always leave your space better than I found it. I am attentive and reliable and I will follow any special instructions you may have about your home or your animal.

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”
“Alora gave me a scare and stole chicken bones from the trash right before we were going to drop her off with Kirsten! We double and triple checked Alora wasnt going to need a vet visit, and Kirsten kindly accommodated a slightly later dropoff & some fasting + bland food requests the next day from the vet. That's thankfully as complicated as it got and Alora's stay was uneventful, but Kirsten kept this pet parent happy that Alora was in good hands and I was across the country for a few days 🙂 can't thank her enough.”

Throughout the weekend we got the sweetest updates about Fran and her adventures with Maisy (who is the sweetest pup and such a great buddy to our dog!) “I highly recommend Elle for all your dog sitting needs. She was warm, communicative, and most importantly, took great care of our two dogs. She seems to truly love and understand our dogs and is very patient and affectionate toward them. One of them is quite young (just over a year) and high energy and I felt confident that Elle would be able to manage him and make sure he got what he needed and he even made new pup friends while he was there, which is great for his socialization! Our other dog is older and much mellower and was on several medications, and Elle made sure he got them all when needed. I’ve worked with several dog sitters over the years both on and off Rover and I can say that Elle is one who I have great confidence in to handle any situation! Highly recommend!”
