“Po was well taken care of - daily photos and comments were great, everything was left clean and Po was relatively calm when I got back from my trip (which is saying something.) I really appreciate having Holly become a regular sitter - that I don't have to worry about Po offers me some peace of mind when I'm away.”

“There's not much more I can say about Law! On time, attentive, caring, and COMMUNICATIVE! SO many times I've asked for a visit with short notice, and Law never flinches!”

“DeAnna did an amazing job caring for our pets. She was really thoughtful in getting Phoebe to warm up to her, did a great job playing with both, and sent us detailed updates. Totally awesome!”

“Molly took great care of our cat while we were out of town! She followed our instructions, gave medicine, and provided daily updates to give us peace of mind while traveling.”

“Lucas is the best! Our two big pitties love him, and he went above and beyond to get to know them before his first drop in with us, even though we booked it last minute. Lucas clearly knows and loves dogs and it made us feel so safe being gone for the day. Thank you dude!”

“Chis was amazing. We have a very sick kitten, and she was the most perfect caregiver to her while we were away. She was super organized, communicated well, and gave us very thoughtful updates. It was my first weekend away since our kitten being very ill. There isn’t anyone I could have trusted more. We are beyond grateful.”

About: Hello! We’re lifelong pet parents currently sharing the world with our rescue pup, Olive Butterscotch. We have a home in West Seattle with plenty of room to share. We like the location for pet-sitting because it’s across the street from a park and a waterfront trail which makes it easy to take walks and get some good cardio. I’m a military kid who grew up with several cats and dogs. Jason is a veteran and medic who usually works from home (he used to give his boxer IV’s when she got sick) so your loved ones will enjoy lots of attention and cuddles in a safe home.

“Madeline dropped in on our cats and we could tell she paid good attention to them and their quirky personalities. She also gave our skittish senior cat his medication without a problem, which we were really impressed by. She was great!”

About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve spent years around pups of every size, breed, and personality. I’m comfortable with dogs who are reactive or who love to pull on the leash, and I stay calm, patient, and confident on walks. I’ve cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs for many years, whether that means staying with them while their people travel or stopping by for walks, meals, and some extra love. I know how hard it can be to leave your pup when you’re away, and my goal is to put your mind at ease so you can actually enjoy your time without worrying about how they’re doing. I’m always happy to send photos, videos, or updates whenever you want them. I’m reliable, attentive, and I’ll always put your dog first. I want your pup to feel safe, happy, and genuinely cared for every moment they’re with me. I work fully remote, which means I’m able to hang out with your pup all day and night while you’re away. I’m around for playtime, cuddles, walks, and anything else they need throughout the day. I’m also super flexible with potty breaks and feeding times, so your dog can stay on their normal routine and feel as comfortable as possible. My goal is to make their days feel familiar and happy while giving you total peace of mind. Since I’ll be caring for your pets in your home, I always follow your preferences and routines to keep things feeling familiar and safe for your pup. I’m respectful of whatever rules you have in place, whether that means keeping them off the furniture, crating during certain times, or sticking to specific boundaries. I’m comfortable hanging out with your dog in the living room while I work on my laptop, giving them company and a calm presence throughout the day. If your pup prefers more space or quiet time, I’m just as happy to give them that too. I’m flexible and attentive to what each dog needs, and I do my best to maintain the environment and routine that helps them feel secure and at home. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and understood while you’re away, and to make the experience smooth and stress‑free for everyone.
“Sophia is fantastic and I know our puppy is in good hands when she drops by. Eris is very high energy and can get a little over excited especially when being alone for a while. Sophia takes it all in stride and plays with her to make sure to work that energy out. Eris is always in a great mood after her time with Eris and you can tell she's had a great exercise session to work out all her energy. We've used Sophia multiple times now and all have been great experiences. She's great at communicating and letting you know what is going on and very responsive when you reach out.”

About: I love pets and recognize each pet is an individual with unique needs, behaviors, temperaments and interests. I have always had pets including many dogs and cats throughout my life. I have also had guinea pigs, gerbils/hamster's, fish and even a rat! Throughout my life I have studied animal behavior too. I have taken many dog training classes and even pet first aid. My schedule is flexible and I am reliable, organized, and tidy. I also know a lot about greener living because I am an environmental educator. My schedule is flexible and I am available most days including weekends and evenings. I have a lot of time to care for your pets including walks, feeding, activities and lots of pets and lots of love. I have 25+ years of experience caring for dogs, cats and smaller pets too (rabbits, gerbils, and fish). I have lots of experience walking dogs in our local neighborhoods and parks. Your pets safety is my #1 concern and a close second is making sure they are happy and getting the love, attention and exercise they need while in my care.

“Tim did an awesome job! My dog gets a bit nervous around new people and tends to shell herself but around him she warmed up quickly enjoyed him stopping by!”

“Emma was responsive to us and kind to our sweet cat while we spent a few days away from home. She took the booking on pretty short notice and left home clean and tidy. Thanks Emma!”

“Nancy is terrific. She is wonderful with our dogs (they love her). She is reliable and provides us with peace of mind knowing our pups are on good hands.”

“Lisa has been beyond wonderful to our boy Benny. He can be a bit difficult and doesn’t warm up to just anybody. Lisa has been so patient and allowed him the time to get comfortable with a new person. We would be thrilled to book Lisa again.”

“Francesca is amazing! She not only checked in on our baby but spent time helping her to learn commands! Cupcakke loves her and we will use her any time she is available! Highly recommend!”

About: I've been on and off Rover as a sitter and walker for some years now. I'm good with small to midsized doggos. I'm not a big enough human to wrassle your mega-doodle when he decides he's gotta go have a word with that squirrel! Happy to feed, water, sit in the yard with, and/or wander West Seattle for a stretch and sniff with your four legged bestie. I'm very patient with slow movers or those who need time to read every single message left around the 'hood. Get in touch if you need drop-in visits or walkies. I do take overnights and day care stays, but only for dogs I already know. Please ask if you need more than walkies or drop in visits. I work at home, pet care is easy and flex. Typically we walk early, play outside mid-day, and might do a late in the day walk if weather and energy permits. I have a fenced yard where dogs get to spend time in the sun and barking at people walking in the alley, if they need to do that. Meals are on schedule, walkies are flex, scritchies are on demand.

“Joyce came for a meet and greet a couple of days before we needed her to check in on Kacey. We liked her immediately! As did our pup. Kacey was in fine spirits when we returned home after several hours on the day we needed Joyce to feed , potty and play with him. It is so great to have someone that you like and trust to care for your pup! We will be calling Joyce again.”

There are NO WORDS to describe how great Christina is! Holy! I went on a 20 day international trip and not only did she take the BEST care of Mikasa and Raven (mini panthers), she kept my house so clean I could not believe my eyes when I got back. She provided daily updates and pictures of both of my cats, figured out their personalities, which was very impressive, and gave me FANTASTIC daily reports (highly customized so you know she put in the work) that made me say awww in every sentence 🥹 i could not recommend her more, she is my absolute go to forever (this was my first time and boy was it a dream come true one)! She also watered my plants 🥹🥹

Rachel was amazing & very attentive with Pepper. I left Pepper with Rachel for a decent amount of time (9 days), and she was extremely prompt & consistent with the time she came to walk & care for Pepper. He smiled in all of the pictures she sent me while I was away. Would definitely love to get Rachel's help again on my next trip!
