Our first meeting was a relaxed and helpful meet and greet before our trip to make sure Issa would get along with Richard’s dogs (who are super cute by the way). During the stay Richard sent me very frequent updates, pictures, videos. It was obvious Issa warmed up to her new temporary home quickly and got LOTS of love from Richard and his partner. “We gotta say, we’ve had rover sitters before (some good, some not so good) but Gregg by far has exceeded all of our expectations. We asked him beforehand if he was okay with one of our reactive and pulley dogs, and he said he was. We set up a meet and greet before booking and both our dogs took to Gregg immediately. He just had such a kind, warm demeanor to him, and although we had other meet and greets scheduled throughout the week, no one even came close to Gregg. The booking itself was exactly what we thought it would be — amazing. Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and because of that, we are just so grateful to have found him!!! He is going to be our go-to sitter going forward, and we know our dogs can’t wait for their next adventure with Gregg!!!”

About: Hello! We’re lifelong pet parents currently sharing the world with our rescue pup, Olive Butterscotch. We have a home in West Seattle with plenty of room to share. We like the location for pet-sitting because it’s across the street from a park and a waterfront trail which makes it easy to take walks and get some good cardio. I’m a military kid who grew up with several cats and dogs. Jason is a veteran and medic who usually works from home (he used to give his boxer IV’s when she got sick) so your loved ones will enjoy lots of attention and cuddles in a safe home.
About: I know that each pet is an individual with unique needs, interests and temperaments and I will do my best to make sure they are happy and healthy in my care. Growing up I wanted a cat, but my parents preferred dogs. When I moved out I immediately got a cat, then two cats, then my sister moved in and brought her cat. Lots of cats! I helped build a dog daycare here in Seattle, so I’ve spent years learning how dogs actually behave—who wants to play, who needs a break, and how to make sure everyone stays safe and happy. At home, we keep that same vibe—but way more personal. Our dog Bud (2 years old) is the host. In our home, dogs are part of the daily routine—not just “watched.” We provide structured care with three walks a day, supervised play, and plenty of downtime when needed. We do have a partially fenced yard, but we don’t rely on it—dogs are always supervised outside and primarily get their exercise through regular walks. Because of my daycare background, I pay close attention to each dog’s personality—whether they want to play, relax, or have their own space—and make sure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

About: I’m a local native! I grew up in Tacoma where we adopted our dog Pixie when I was about 10 years old. Pixie now runs around with Old Yeller, Marley, and Balto in dog heaven, but she was an eccentric, energetic pup through her late years. Melba, my cat, was our family pet up until I moved back to Seattle in 2016, where I had the pleasure of keeping her until her dying days in late 2019. I now have my 3.5 yo Siamese/bengal— the sassiest cat around who loves to adventure and hunt outdoors. I love to go for walks and as I don’t have a dog right now, Rover is a great way to walk with a buddy and help your pupper (or cat) get exercise. Camille and I have a routine schedule- he is usually out for most of the day exploring. (He really is a confident cat). He’ll come back home for dinner+snuggles and he’ll be up by 5am ready to go back outside for a new day. I met a friend’s rescue pup who gravitated to me because we shared the same type of trauma history.. I love animals. You can see when their little minds are flustered and I am always happy when I can bring the care and relief of stress to animals that need it.

“My 2 year old Springer Spaniel Boxer mix, Edie, had a wonderful time with Jana and her family! When I normally leave Edie at her doggy daycare to travel, she barely eats and seems anxious when I come to pick her up. Not the case this time! Edie ate all the food I had packed for her along with all the treats! She loved running around and puppy style wrestling with Hazel! Jana gave me updates twice a day with pictures and videos of the ladies playing. I truly do believe that Edie had a dog vacay with Hazel and Jana!”

I appreciate their regular updates and pictures on how Luna is doing, especially considering that this was the first time she stayed overnight at their place. :) I truly feel like they love and care for Luna as if she were their own dog. Thank you for being so patient with Luna, making sure she is taken care of and feels safe and loved. I appreciate you going on so many walks despite the weather being rainy/not the best at times. “Seth was amazing with our dog. We have a very strong dog that has had some issues with reactivity and resource guarding. He has been through training, but isn’t perfect. Our dog really needs someone that will provide him with structure and hold firm boundaries. Seth did all that with so much care. I didn’t want my dog to impose too much on their family, so my expectations were just to give him walks and yard play time. Seth made sure he got walks, a ton of yard play, and indoor cuddles with his family. I highly recommend Seth! Thank you so much!!!!😊”
“Elle and fam were wonderful, they kept me updated on their goings-on with texts and photos, and she’s got a sense of humor in her captions! I was relieved to know that they were very familiar with elder dog care and had two cutie furbies of their own. My eldest dog hadn’t been displaying much of an appetite when I returned from my last trip during which they stayed at a kennel, this time he had increased his daily intake to nearly pre-kennel levels while in their care. My dogs showed no signs of distress and my lab made himself at home as soon as we walked through their front door. I highly recommend them to anyone regardless of your dog breed or age. Plus, you can’t beat the attention provided by someone who works from home. It was an all around excellent fit!”

“We gotta say, we’ve had rover sitters before (some good, some not so good) but Gregg by far has exceeded all of our expectations. We asked him beforehand if he was okay with one of our reactive and pulley dogs, and he said he was. We set up a meet and greet before booking and both our dogs took to Gregg immediately. He just had such a kind, warm demeanor to him, and although we had other meet and greets scheduled throughout the week, no one even came close to Gregg. The booking itself was exactly what we thought it would be — amazing. Gregg was very communicative, with constant updates/photos/videos throughout the day, was very attentive towards both of our dogs needs, kept them engaged throughout their stay, followed all instructions on feeding/walking times, and even kept a close eye on one of our dogs paw chewing. When we came to pick them up, it was very clear they had a blast with Gregg, and even bonded with him as well!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and because of that, we are just so grateful to have found him!!! He is going to be our go-to sitter going forward, and we know our dogs can’t wait for their next adventure with Gregg!!!”
“Steve was great! We needed a last minute sitter and Steve was super flexible with us! He was very careful and receptive to Oliver’s needs regarding interactions with other dogs which can sometimes be overwhelming. His backyard is a huge added plus! Oliver seemed to have a great time staying with Steve for a night and I would definitely book with him again!”
