“My cats are super comfortable with Mandy! I can tell she spends time to get to know them. When I get back after a trip, they’re happy and cared for, without much anxiety. She’s conscientious and sends lots of notes and photos!”

“Katie was fantastic! She gave us such great updates while we were away and took great care of our cats. She was patient as our kitties warmed up to her and by the end of the trip they seemed to be best friends. We highly recommend Katie for your pets!”

About: I have grown up taking care of animals including cats, dogs, birds, and the smaller friends, and have looked after pets in my community for over 2 decades, including dog and cat sitting. I have taken care of newborn kittens that needed constant care, puppies with endless energy, and elderly dogs and cats that require medicine administered and careful play. I am a freelance web designer and developer with my own business, so I am able to make my own schedule, work wherever, and make time for walks and play with cute pets! I am happy to follow instructions to make sure your home and pet are cared for how you prefer. I pay attention to details and am extra cautious about locking doors and windows, making sure water is refreshed, and always have eyes on the pets before leaving.

About: I’ve had my own pup for several years previously, and know all about what makes a good walk, how to read moods, and the things that dogs love at the park! I’m looking for excuses to go for a good walk in the evening, and for the warm feelings that come with the love of a dog. I have a fenced backyard with lots of space to run—my past pup really loved it back there! I also live close to great trails for walking.
“Shanna took amazing care of our two cats and sent us some great photos along with a note with every check in. It was great to see them and know they were well taken care of! The visits were longer than expected, which I’m sure our cats appreciated too. Great care, communication, and consideration from Shanna! Would absolutely recommend!”

About: I’ve recently started taking care of pets in my community after losing my lovely dog, Layla, to cancer. Doing so has been healing in ways that I could not have imagined!! I am so excited to continue this journey of love, support and healing. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I work in office during the week, but close enough to home to allow the pups restroom breaks throughout the day. And of course, spending the evenings playing and snuggling with the doggos. My weekends are free to spend all the time with them. I follow the instructions form the caregiver and also listen to what each pet is telling me. I provide a calm yet playful attitude so that everyone feels comfortable.

About: I have cared for cats and dogs since I was eight years old, when I began helping neighbors with their pets and plants. Cocker Spaniels were among the first dogs I learned to care for at home, and I have continued caring for pets throughout my life. As a teenager, I began house sitting while caring for homeowners’ pets, and I have provided pet and home care ever since. I have also spent more than five years caring for two special-needs cats of my own. That personal experience has made me especially comfortable with pets who need patience, consistency, medication, or a little extra help adjusting. One of my cats has one eye and some spatial sensitivities. With time, patience, and gentle encouragement, she has grown from a very shy cat who hid whenever she could into a confident, playful, and wonderfully talkative companion. I genuinely enjoy taking the time to earn a shy pet’s trust and helping them feel safe. My other cat has diabetes, so I have experience administering insulin injections twice a day and carefully following an established medical routine. I am also comfortable giving pills and liquid medications by syringe to both cats and dogs. I have cared for senior pets, puppies, kittens, and animals with additional needs, and I am attentive to changes in their behavior, appetite, mobility, and comfort. I have cared for dogs with a wide range of sizes, energy levels, and personalities—from Chihuahuas, Corgis, Cocker Spaniels, and terriers to high-energy German Shorthaired Pointers and strong, enthusiastic Staffordshire Terriers. I am comfortable adapting my care to each dog’s individual temperament, routine, and activity needs. When pet parents are away, I communicate openly, provide regular updates, and follow each pet’s individual routine and care instructions closely. When needed, I have taken pets to pre-scheduled veterinary appointments while their owners were away and communicated closely with them before and after the visit. During house sits, I am respectful of the home and keep it clean and tidy. I am also happy to help with simple household tasks such as bringing in the mail, watering plants, and vacuuming pet areas. My schedule allows me to be home for most of the day, so I can provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, medication, and companionship. I am comfortable following detailed routines and can adjust activity and attention based on each pet’s age, energy level, and individual needs. I will always communicate clearly in advance about any periods when your pet may be left alone. In my home, pets have access to a large, securely fenced grassy yard, along with nearby parks and walking trails. I can also provide a private room away from my resident cats for pets who need quiet space, gradual introductions, or separation from other animals. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and supervision instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and never introduce pets without considering their comfort and safety. I provide regular updates and will promptly contact you if I notice any changes in your pet’s behavior, appetite, mobility, or overall well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their established routine and keep the home and pet areas clean and tidy.

“Veronica was awesome. She took care of Lunita and his space for several days while we were out of the country. She even bought him treats because he was running low! I’ll definitely work with Veronica again 💛”

“Maura was fantastic! She was very communicative and I really appreciated her flexibility when my travel plans changed last minute. My cat can get lonely and anxious when I'm gone and she was in such good spirits when I returned. Maura's visits made Juniper feel comfortable and cared for and it was wonderful to know she was in good hands while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Maura!”

“Cody filled in for us on a last minute need and did a good job working with our rescue dog, who can get scared and aggressive. He followed instructions and stayed calm which led to an even better second visit. Thank you Cody!”

“Aaron is reliable. My dog is typically scared around men, but she can clearly tell she is in safe hands with Aaron and trusts him to care for her. I really appreciate the extra effort Aaron makes with my difficult pup.”

“Stephanie was great! She was able to do a last minute visit which we appreciated. Her updates about our puppy, Banks, were so sweet! It sounds like Banks really liked her too!”

“I have never left my little dog Bella with anyone other than family. My son found Brandi on Rover to housesit for his cats while he was out of town. He called me and said "You absolutely will love Brandi and will not regret hiring her" He was right. Her communication and attention to detail were fantastic. I'm very thankful to have been referred to her and look forward to her helping more in the future with Bella. Happy dog happy dog Mom!”

“Jessica was AMAZING! We had to book with her last minute and she was so eager and flexible to help out and was so good to our elderly dog- it provided so much peace of mind while we were away. We will be booking with her again next time we have to be out of town! Truly, thank you so much, Jessica! :)”

“Talia was super great with our senior dog! Really communicative, sent us lots of photos and updates. Spent time playing with him, giving him treats out of his puzzle bowl, and lots of cuddles. Our dog is always a little anxious when his routine changes but she did a great job with him and we came home to a very happy dog!”

About: I have recently lost my 12 year old English bulldog. While I’m not ready for another companion, I am ready to give love to friendly pets. I have experience with special needs dogs, large breeds, and dogs with special medication needs. I am comfortable with dog-aggressive pets as well. I work full time but have a flexible schedule and often work from home. I am available to care for your pet in your home, and mine as well. Looking forward to meeting your pets! I have flexibility and with proper notice I can accommodate most scheduling needs. I have reliable transportation and often work from home. I am open to discussing your pets needs! I have a clean and pet safe home where your pets are welcome to get on the furniture if they are allowed. I will be happy to use a crate if your animals prefer it, but they are also welcome to roam the house if they won’t destroy furniture. I care for animals as if they were my own, and they will be spoiled when spending time with me.

Talia was super great with our senior dog! Really communicative, sent us lots of photos and updates. Spent time playing with him, giving him treats out of his puzzle bowl, and lots of cuddles. Our dog is always a little anxious when his routine changes but she did a great job with him and we came home to a very happy dog!

Both my cats let Clio pet them, which is surprising because they are both generally pretty anxious cats. Clio did exactly as asked, she fed them the exact amounts I asked, watched them using the litter box and documented it, and gave them some lovings. I really appreciate that they clearly trusted her. Would book again. :)

Bjoern was a delight to work with. He looked after my animals and my space very well! I have birds and reptiles and I appreciated the photo updates. All the boys were in good health and spirits upon my return and the living room where they live was immaculate. I really appreciate that Bjoern messaged the morning I left to reassure me he would be there that evening. That thoughtfulness put my mind at ease before getting on a plane.

Maura was absolutely incredible and was so sweet to our girls. This was our first time using rover and Maura literally gave us the perfect experience. She was always on time, took care of the girls’ needs, and send us detailed updates! We loved that she took time to play with them and they warmed up to her quickly which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She was such a blessing while we were gone!

Andrea did an amazing job watching out two cats. She came very prepared and asked questions about their care we hadn't even considered. She sent us regular pics and detailed messages about the cats. She even went above and beyond to fix a beeping low battery smoke detector while we were gone

Kat is the best! This was our second time booking Katherine as a cat sitter for our shy kitty. Katherine was super patient with her and quickly won her over. She provided detailed updates on her appetite & litter box. I'm grateful to have a trusted, go-to cat sitter with Katherine. Thank you!
