“Isabella took exceptionally great care of my little kitty! The notes she always left after each check-in were very thorough, and I loved all of the pictures she sent. She was very accommodating and helpful, and really went the extra mile! I would absolutely recommend her as a sitter for anyone who wants complete peace of mind while they are away on a trip 😁”

“Our pup seemed to really enjoy visits from Brittany! She was punctual and very easy to communicate with and we enjoyed the pictures that she left after each visit.”

“Nicolas is a fantastic cat sitter! I got photos and updates after each visit and my anixous kitty warmed right up to him. My cat had a slight dental emergency while I was away and he kept me updated”

“Camille was great! She stayed with our dog for two drop-in visits over a weekend. We did a meet and greet ahead of time and felt extremely comfortable having Camille look after our dog. She does great updates and extensive Card summaries. Wouldn't hesitate to book her again!”

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have hands-on sitting experience, so I know how to read a dog's needs and keep them comfortable. I'm also very active — I'm currently training to hike the Enchantments at the end of the summer and log a lot of miles each week, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and enrichment on our walks, not just a quick trip around the block. I'm currently working part time, which means I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week to give dogs the time and attention they deserve — walks aren't rushed, and visits aren't squeezed in between a packed schedule. I have a large fenced-in yard, so dogs have plenty of safe space to run and play. I also have one dog at home — she's friendly and great with other dogs, which makes visits comfortable and fun for everyone.
About: My entire life has been spent in the presence of all kinds of different animals! I have a very open schedule and would love to take care of any pet responsibilities. I have a very good relationship with every animal I come across. I like to be very active and loving with my animals, I encourage walking, hiking or a simple trip to the park with your loved one! I am a grad student studying my master’s in Seattle and would love the opportunity to help out with your pet! I never feel a dull moment when I am around animals and would love the opportunity to share an exciting moment with yours. Whether you need a walker, sitter or check-ins I can be very flexible to your needs! Thank you very much and I hope you can consider me. I am working towards my masters ant the moment and working part-time as a behavior therapist. I have a good amount of free time during the day and can be flexible! I always keep the dogs I watch close by and leashed to ensure their safety while going on walks. I will be trustworthy in keeping homes safe as well as tidy since I’m a bit of a neat freak!

My range is set close so that I can take a break and come check in on, walk, feed and play with your pets! I'm flexible with times throughout the day, very reliable and I enjoy getting to know neighbors and their pets. I love getting to spend more time with animals as I am currently petless for the first time in years! I follow instructions well and make sure to follow all directions to provide your pet with the routine they rely on. I know how important it is to maintain that routine while your pet is stressed with your absence, but still it fun! I have watched others animals for years, and have consistently been told that folks wouldn't trust anyone else! I also have had and taken care of multiple rescue animals with triggers and can learn how to recognize and adapt to make them feel safe.
“Elli is such a nice, calm and wonderful human! Our pups had a great time with her. I would recommend her to anyone who needs someone that they can trust with their furry family members!”

“Caleb was a fantastic cat sitter! He was reliable and communicative. He sent us daily updates with pictures and most importantly, Caleb gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands. We'll definitely be using Caleb again next time we need a sitter.”

“Victoria was great! Attentive, communicative, timely, and most importantly she gave the dogs really good quality outside time— threw a ball for Vesa and tried to engage juni (who probably just wanted to get out of the cold since hunting wasn’t on the table)— the dogs look happy. We appreciate you!”

About: I have sat for 5 families of multiple dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments. This included checking in multiple times a day for walks, meals, bathroom breaks, etc. And of course lots of pats and treats! I just moved to the area and am looking for new summer clients! I am flexible and largely available throughout the week including daytime hours (8 am to 5 pm) and late evenings hours (8 to 11 pm). I am unable to host your pets in my own home, but I am more than willing to take care of them in your house! If you are out of town I can turn lights on and off, bring mail in, water plants, etc in addition to taking care of your pet and respecting your space!

About: Hi! My name is Emery, and I have several years of experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Ever since I was young, I’ve helped my aunt care for dogs and cats through her in-home pet care and boarding business, giving me hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets and their individual needs. My passion for animal care began while helping care for my own elderly dog, which taught me the importance of patience, compassion, and paying close attention to each pet’s comfort. I also have experience administering oral medications, including providing my elderly dog with GABA as part of his care. Whether your pet is energetic and loves long walks or is a senior who needs a slower pace and extra support, I’m happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. If your older dog still enjoys getting outside but can’t walk long distances, I’m more than willing to accommodate them, even if that means using a stroller so they can safely enjoy some fresh air. I understand how important it is to keep your pet’s routine consistent, so I’m committed to carefully following all instructions and preferences you provide. I’m dependable, attentive, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I also love keeping owners connected while they’re away and am happy to send regular updates and plenty of photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether I’m stopping by for a walk, a drop-in visit, or extended care, my goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and secure. I would be honored to care for your furry family member and look forward to meeting both you and your pet! I’m a college student and am currently only taking classes from 6-8:30 pm, Monday and Wednesday. Outside these windows of time I have plenty of availability! I am comfortable walking your dog outside and have had experience with protecting my own dog in hostile situations whether that be at a dog park or on a walk. I am able to crate your dog based on their needs, administer medication as needed (capsule or oral), or even follow strict feeding regimens.
“Amy was great! Sent me so many cute pictures of my kitty and even tied a new bag on the litter genie when she noticed it was getting full. Highly reccomend!”

As a college student on summer break, I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets. Im available all weekdays and most weekends, I can stop by whatever time is best for your furry friend! About: Hello! My name is Stephanie. I am a resident physician in Seattle WA and looking forward to love and care for your pets! I wasn’t allowed to have any pets growing up, so ever since I became an adult Ive been making up for lost time! My experience in pet care is from having my own pets after college and caring for dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs of family and friends over the years. I can almost never stop myself wanting to say hi to dogs being walked on the street! I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals and their personalities! I have 2 cats named Zuko and Oliver, who I adore, who provides me countless hours of entertainment. Some hobbies that I have are; DIY projects, running, watching anime, and cooking :) I have a very flexible schedule. As of right now I am available everyday including evenings! For House sitting / overnight stays: I only offer house sitting to repeat clients as I would like to do a few drop-ins before to get a good idea your pets temperament. I like to ask clients what their expectations are with house sitting (ie 8-8 with mid-day drop-in vs day sitting vs multiple drop-ins throughout the day). If interested, please let me know! I currently live in a very safe and pet-friendly community with walking paths nearby. At your residence I will abide by all boundaries and routines you have set in place for your dog/cat and will not have any difficulty doing so.

About: I’m a dog owner and have experience with cat and dog sitting! I am very attentive to detail and will make sure to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I’d love to help with feeding, playtime, walks, and any other care! I am currently a student at the University of Washington so I have a pretty flexible schedule throughout the day, especially through summer as I will still be in Seattle. I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. My own dog has several health issues, so I’m experienced with providing extra attention and administering care as instructed. I always follow owners’ instructions carefully and provide thoughtful care!

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Laurelhurst
Amethyst provided the most attentive and loving care for our Miyuki while we were gone. She gave us updates on how she thought Miyuki was feeling and adjusted the environment and her approach to make sure Miyuki was as happy and fulfilled as possible while we were away. She even found out ways that she liked to be petted! Her communication and coordination are fabulous. We will definitely rebook with her when we have to be away again. 💯 Recommend.

This is my second time booking Rachael, trust she will be my first ask next time I need a pet sitter! Rachael does a wonderful job looking after my sweet kitty, always sends lots of photos, spends plenty of time giving pets, and goes above and beyond making sure my kitty is content while I’m away. Thank you!!

Claire was very sweet and accommodating. She made sure my cat was well fed and exercised, ensuring to stay the entire time we booked for! She even helped us out with signage for our maintenance team to access our apartment for service and took out the trash. Would book again :)

Clive took great care of our two cats while we were away. He is very thorough, kind, and caring. We’ve found a lot of people don’t know how cats “play” but Clive does, and took great care. He also sent lots of photos and was very personable to work with. We will absolutely book him again!

Caroline is such a pro and genuinely loves animals. I totally trust her to give my cat with cardiac issues the medication that he needs. She was great at following the schedule needed as well! I loved the pictures she sent with every visit of the kitties enjoying their favorite treat. She updated me frequently and asked questions as they came up. I wholeheartedly recommend her to any special needs pet parent looking for a sitter.

So easy to work with! Zephyr followed instructions to an t and sent detailed updates with plenty of pictures. When my return flight got canceled I was able to add an extra drop within minutes which was so appreciated as an anxious cat parent. I’ll absolutely be rebooking for my next travels.
