About: I am happiest when caring for and bonding with animals of all kinds. As a volunteer with both a local animal shelter and wildlife rehabilitation center I have had experience providing extensive and complex care for animals with all sorts of differing needs. Growing up with, and continuing to care for, animals of my own has taught me so much about providing care at every stage of life. I have helped raise puppies, kittens, small chicks, and bottle fed orphaned wildlife. I am very comfortable understanding and respecting the boundaries of more reactive animals and will tailor my care to your pets individual needs and personality. I would be honored to be entrusted with your pets care and prioritize safety and communication above all else! I have a flexible schedule and will work with you in order to provide the best care for your pet/s where and when you need it. About: I have many years of global house/pet sitting experience on other sites but am new to Rover. I will be back in the Seattle area from the beginning of October 2026 and will be house sitting until at least September 2027. September/October 2023 L.A./Orange County. I took care of 2 homes, dogs, cats, fish, indoor plants, large garden. February/April 2024 Seattle area. 5 housesits, dogs, cats, indoor plants, backyards, garden. July/August 2024 Hvar, Croatia. 1 housesit. Dog, indoor/outdoor plants. September/October 2024. Kailua, Hawaii. I took care of 1 home, 2 cats, 1 very large dog, indoor/outdoor plants. Large garden. February/May 2025. San Francisco/San Diego. I took care of 5 homes, 6 cats, indoor/outdoor plants, backyard and gardens July 2025. Mallorca, Spain. I sat for an amazing home with two large dogs, an extremely large orchard, a very large garden as well as a nursery. September 2025. Corfu, Greece. I sat for a 350 year old original Greek stone home with 8 cats, 2 dogs, a very large garden and exotic plants. November 2025-March 2026. Seattle, Washington. I sat for 7 homes, 3 very large dogs, 10 cats, indoor/outdoor plants as well as 2 large gardens. Confirmed, upcoming sits. July 2026. Estepona, Spain. 3 week sit for a large home. 2 dogs, 1 cat, very large orchard and garden. August 2026. Malaga, Spain. 2 week sit for 2 cats. 200 year old historical flat in the centre of Malaga. October 2026-September 2027 Seattle area. I already have 2 confirmed housesits and am currently interviewing for more. One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. I ran a beachfront bar with 15 bungalows and a small restaurant. Was responsible for all operations, payroll, staffing etc. 50-100 customers daily. 1998-1999 History/English instructor for City University of Seattle. 1999-2002 Worked as a deckhand in Alaska on Salmon and Crab boats. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. About: I’ve taken care of my beloved family dog, a Miniature Schnauzer, since her adoption when I was 11 years old. Over the years I’ve done petsitting for dogs of small-large sizes, and ages 1 year-14 years, for families close to mine or with a more distant connection. I pride myself in my close attention to your pet’s health and safety: strict diet adherence (sorry doggos, I know you would prefer all the human food!), responsible leashing on walks, restraint in the car, and plenty of love and play. Most recently I cared for a very sweet medium-large Australian Shepherd who loves frisbee fetch and his squeaky toy :) My motivation for seeking pet care roles comes from my love for spending time with dogs and cats, and (let’s be honest) I’m a college student who could use a little more cash and a little more critter cuddles. I am most available on weekends, starting Fridays in the early afternoon and ending Monday early mornings. As a college student, I do have other gaps throughout the week and on breaks that I would be happy to discuss. I care deeply about safety in everything I do, and especially with your fuzzy family member. I also work in a research lab, so I am no stranger to following procedures- however complicated your pet’s routines are, I will stick to them! If your pet likes to visit parks a little bit away from your home, I’m happy to take them on short drives. I have a valid driver’s license and have never gotten a ticket, and I will only allow drives if your pet has a soft carrier, harness seat belt, or other restraints. I believe keeping pets entertained helps them stay out of dangerous mischief, so it’s a good thing scritches and play are some of my favorite things to do too :)

About: I have had dogs since I was a kid, I can navigate puppy-hood to senior care. I have experience with big and small, separation anxiety, on and off leash behavior issues. As for cats, I didn't find my feline affinity until a bit later in life. I had my own cat (miss him so!) and I have volunteered at PAWS Cat City for more than a decade where I assist with adoptions, cleaning, cat socialization and care. I even volunteer and help out with the care of local mini horses. Can you believe there are mini horses in the city?!? I have finite bandwidth but I will communicate clearly to be sure that I am a right fit for your pet. I am eager to help pet parents and provide quality care to their furkids. I live in Madison Valley and have a single family home with a completely fenced in back yard with lots of terrain and territory to explore.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since high school and raised my own pup for 16 wonderful years, so I have real experience with senior dogs and their special needs. I offer regular walks and overnight stays at your home, giving your dog the comfort of familiar surroundings. Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a senior who needs a little extra gentleness, I’ll treat them like family. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to give to your pets! I do walking trails almost everyday and I recently lost my fur family member of 16 years, so my walks need a companion. I love giving attention to high energy dogs or just chilling with the dogs that love to sniff. My passion is in giving dogs the best lives possible in their short time with us. I want to walk dogs to stay active and keep your pup healthy for many years to come. 🐾🎾🌳 I like to be with the dogs as much as possible when I am dog sitting in someone else’s home. Because I find most dogs like the company, I’ve even managed to get the grumpier old dogs to cuddle next to me. You can expect clear and timely communication from me when looking after your pets as well as a few cute photos!

About: I have had pets my whole life, grew up with a medium sized dog and have had cats through my life. very comfortably with animals and enjoy quality time bonding with them/on walks. will treat your pet like they were my own!:) Location: I live in Capital Hill and am happy traveling to UW and Arboretum areas as well. Thank you in advance! I am a college student and usually have a lot of free time during my week, as my class schedule is light. I am available for walks and check ins at varying times throughout the week and on the weekends. I always respect that this is the pets space, meeting them where they are at. recognizing their language if they need a bathroom break, play time, one on one affection, etc.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them comes naturally to me. I enjoy building trust with each dog and creating a calm, positive environment where they feel safe and happy. Whether we're playing, walking, or just relaxing, I strive to make their time with me feel like a fun visit with a friend. I am working part time and flexible. I would prefer long walks and potty breaks. I am also available to provide shuttle to and from the vet. I don’t have a fenced yard but live right next to a park and Lake Washington. As a result, time spent outdoors will be accommodated by leash.
