“This is the first time I have used Rover and the first time I have hired someone I didn't know to watch our Lily cat. I met Danielle the day before I left town and knew our kitty was in good hands. She sent me photos every day and let me know how Lily was doing. I always worry when I'm out of town but not this time. I was confident Danielle was taking great care of Lily and that is so appreciated. Danielle is amazing and we will definitely be using her for our next trip. Thank you so much!”

“Shelby is AMAZING! I cannot thank her enough for taking care of our cat Izzy while we were out of town. So many pictures and updates, and I genuinely felt she was taken care of. This was our very first time using Rover and I couldn’t be happier that we chose her! We will definitely use Shelby’s services again.”

“Connor is fantastic! He is very reliable and communicative about availability and updates. Mo has taken right to him. Knowing that she gets some attention makes going back on site easier for us both. I truly appreciate Connor looking after Mo!”

“Dawnula was an amazing pet sitter. I felt so good knowing she was going to take care of our babies. She was very responsive. I would definitely ask to book her again. She won over our cat so definitely recommended her!”

“Erica was able to accommodate us last minute and even put up with our post-move chaos boxes. She was incredibly communicative and we'd absolutely book with her again!”

“Leah has done a couple drop in visits for our boys and always does great with them. Very easy to communicate with/get in touch with and our pups always look so happy in their pictures with Leah. Would highly recommend!!”

About: I’ve spent most my life taking care of our cats, and eventually our dogs. I currently have a samoyed and a husky. Known dogs to be highly energetic and working dogs. I house sit for my mom for trips. A few years ago her friends started to hire me, a few neighbors as well. I have a flexible schedule, and have taken care of small dogs to extremely large dogs. I am good with reactive dogs and knowing how to handle those situations. I love animals more than anything, and pour my heart into each one I meet. I currently attend Seattle Central College, 1/3 of my courses are in person. This means, Monday-Thursday I am there for an hour or two. No longer than that. I am available afterwards. Fridays-Sundays I am free, but will have tutoring for an hour one of those days in the afternoon. I am very flexible and able to be at the house anytime. Early mornings, late afternoons, evenings, and nights. For house sitting, I am in the home and spending time with the pets at all times, aside from my in person class times. I stick to a schedule of feedings, walks, play time, etc. I like to stay organized and I know animals enjoy structure! I am always sending photos and updates, as well as making sure I thoroughly know as much about the pet as possible before the stay. I treat my walking/feeding pets the same. Always on time and double checking I am following their routine.
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, from guinea pigs and parakeets, to dogs and cats. I volunteered at the local humane society walking dogs and taking care of cats during high school. I’ve done a good amount of pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors through the years. I’ve had to travel for work much of my adult life, so very much relate with being the pet parent entrusting my fur babies to someone else. I treat other peoples’ pets how I’d hope my pet sitters treat mine, and care for them as I do my own. I work from home during the week so would love to do daycare or overnight care for dogs that get along well with cats, and other dogs, even anxious shy-at-first small dogs. I have a cat and a little dog, who both love meeting new friends, although my dog can be territorial initially with new dogs in our home. For this reason we will need to meet any new dogs outside for a short walk before coming in, to familiarize them. Xavi tends to feel territorial with larger, very active dogs, so just offering daycare and boarding to smaller dogs, or dogs of all sizes that he is familiar with already. I have a covered patio and plenty of play space inside my apartment, and live in a very dog friendly and walkable area.
“Our experience with Karen, from messaging, to scheduling a meet and greet, to the actual visits, were smooth and easy. Karen took great care of our cats. She was on time and sent pictures and information each day, so we knew how they were doing.”

“Anne was awesome! She took great care of my two cats while I was away. What impressed me the most was her clear, concise communication and the effort she put in to bond with my kitties. She took extra time to play with them and give them company, alongside the brass tacks of feeding and cleaning. As long as she is willing, I’ll be trusting her with my cats anytime I need a sitter.”

“Shriya did a fantastic job taking care of my senior dog, spending extra time each day to establish a bond, play and ensure my girl was exceptionally well taken care of. I highly recommend her - five+ stars.”

“Austin took such great care of our two cats while we were away. His communication was clear and timely, and we really appreciated the adorable photos he sent every day so we could see how the cats were doing. We came home to happy, well‑cared‑for kitties and a tidy home. We will definitely be booking with Austin again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

I have a part time job so I have lots of availability. I am usually available for pet care! Let me know! I have a friendly golden retriever to keep your dog company, or, if not, I can easily have him elsewhere! My backyard is fenced in!

About: I have had dogs all 26 years of my life, and I love them! Plenty of experience walking, playing and cuddling dogs big and small. Have done a good amount of pet/house sitting over the years as well. I have a very flexible schedule, available during the day mostly but can make most times work! I can work around your needs/ your pets needs. I will protect and care for your babies like they are my own! I love all animals and think they deserve love and respect just like us:)

Paula is wonderful! She is personable, nice, sweet, funny, and does exceptionally well with Zucchini; she and Zucchini became fast friends over a game of fetch. Paula is quick and communicative, responsive, and very thorough in her messages, and never left me hanging. I will be using Paula's services in the future and would definitely recommend Paula for anyone looking for a compassionate pet sitter.

Carissa helped support pet drop ins for a long weekend. She was super responsive and our 3 cats adapted to her really quickly. One of our cats is a senior gentleman who needs medication in his food and everything went smoothly. Would absolutely leverage Carissa for pet support!

Simran was such a detailed communicator, and so good with my kitty Rocky! The meet & greet was thorough, she made sure to cover all the bases I missed, and I'm beyond grateful that her attention and warmth was available to us. Such a pro. Would book again in a heartbeat.
