“Anne was awesome! She took great care of my two cats while I was away. What impressed me the most was her clear, concise communication and the effort she put in to bond with my kitties. She took extra time to play with them and give them company, alongside the brass tacks of feeding and cleaning. As long as she is willing, I’ll be trusting her with my cats anytime I need a sitter.”

“Krys was amazing, keeping Bender company and making certain he was well cared for on my first trip away from him. I got photos and videos, and it looks like they had the best time away. Krys's handling of Bender allowed me to focus on my work during my trip. She's highly recommended!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, from guinea pigs and parakeets, to dogs and cats. I volunteered at the local humane society walking dogs and taking care of cats during high school. I’ve done a good amount of pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors through the years. I’ve had to travel for work much of my adult life, so very much relate with being the pet parent entrusting my fur babies to someone else. I treat other peoples’ pets how I’d hope my pet sitters treat mine, and care for them as I do my own. I work from home during the week so would love to do daycare or overnight care for dogs that get along well with cats, and other dogs, even anxious shy-at-first small dogs. I have a cat and a little dog, who both love meeting new friends, although my dog can be territorial initially with new dogs in our home. For this reason we will need to meet any new dogs outside for a short walk before coming in, to familiarize them. Xavi tends to feel territorial with larger, very active dogs, so just offering daycare and boarding to smaller dogs, or dogs of all sizes that he is familiar with already. I have a covered patio and plenty of play space inside my apartment, and live in a very dog friendly and walkable area.
“Dawnula was an amazing pet sitter. I felt so good knowing she was going to take care of our babies. She was very responsive. I would definitely ask to book her again. She won over our cat so definitely recommended her!”

“Hoi Yan did an excellent job taking care of my senior dog during an afternoon drop-in. I booked relatively last minute and was grateful for her quick response and proactive communication before and detailed recap after this visit. She sat with him while he ate his gruel and gave him plenty of attention, treats, and a brisk walk. I would recommend Hoi Yan and will book again!”

“Desi would have preferred we stayed in Canada. He was very happy with Shelby. She communicated and shared pictures proactively so we knew how he was doing the entire time we were gone. We will be using her again!”

About: Hi! I'm Joey, a lifelong dog and cat lover who grew up in a home full of furry family members. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to sweet senior pets, I'm comfortable caring for animals of every age, personality, and energy level. Whether your pet loves long walks, endless games of fetch, cozy couch cuddles, or simply sticking to their daily routine, I'm happy to provide the care and attention they deserve. I'm also experienced with administering medications and understand the extra patience and care that senior pets or those with medical needs require. I know every pet is unique, and I treat each one like they're my own. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away so that you can travel with peace of mind. I can't wait to meet your four-legged family members! I'm currently working full-time, which means I'm available to provide reliable pet care during evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight stays. Whether you need someone to stop by for walks and feedings after work, spend the weekend with your pets while you're away, or stay overnight to keep them company, I'm happy to help. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I make it a priority to stick to their normal routine, including meal times, walks, playtime, medications, and plenty of affection. My schedule allows me to dedicate quality time to your pets when I'm with them, ensuring they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved until you return home.
“Our experience with Karen, from messaging, to scheduling a meet and greet, to the actual visits, were smooth and easy. Karen took great care of our cats. She was on time and sent pictures and information each day, so we knew how they were doing.”

About: Hi! I’m Joni - an experienced, reliable, and genuinely animal-loving sitter based in Seattle. I grew up around animals (including time spent on a farm), so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. I’m comfortable with a wide range of pets, from the largest dogs to the smallest cats. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, routine-driven, or a little quirky, I’m patient and attentive to their individual needs. I’ve also always been a pet parent myself, so I understand how important it is to know your animal is in safe, caring hands. I prioritize consistency, clear communication, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m happy to follow detailed routines, administer basic medications if needed, and provide regular updates so you have peace of mind. I follow a vegan lifestyle because I care deeply about animals and their well-being, and I bring that same level of care and respect to every pet I look after. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays, I treat every animal like they’re my own - and I’d love to meet yours! I have a flexible schedule and am able to prioritize pet care throughout the day, including regular walks, feeding, and attention. I’m typically home for much of the day, which allows me to maintain consistent routines and provide pets with plenty of companionship and care. I plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for to make sure they’re comfortable, well looked after, and getting the attention they’re used to. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment for every pet in my care. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so I can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible - whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-safe space and closely supervise pets, making sure they’re secure and never left unattended for long periods. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any changes so I can respond quickly if something seems off. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully, keeping routines consistent and providing regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals - from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, and farm animals - so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs and ensuring every pet feels safe, cared for, and at ease.
“Erica was able to accommodate us last minute and even put up with our post-move chaos boxes. She was incredibly communicative and we'd absolutely book with her again!”

About: I've raised and trained 3 champion bloodline boxers from puppyhood through every life stage, so I'm very comfortable with high-energy dogs, giant personalities, structured routines, and the occasional stubborn streak. Today I split my time between consulting work and pet care. One unexpected benefit of leaving the traditional corporate tech grind is that I finally have the flexibility to spend more time doing something I've genuinely enjoyed for years—working with dogs. These days I provide structured walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and boarding throughout Ballard. I also care for pets on another pet care platform, where I've worked with everything from energetic puppies and adolescent chaos agents to shy dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra time to build trust. After years of calendars, conference calls, forecasts, and executive meetings, I've discovered I much prefer helping a nervous dog gain confidence on a walk or convincing a puppy that the mystery object they found on the sidewalk is not, in fact, a snack. The dogs are usually easier to negotiate with. Through the canine grapevine, I've also learned that my official title is apparently "The Liver Treat PEZ Dispenser." I've also spent plenty of time on the owner side of pet care. Between work travel, conferences, and long weekends away, I've personally used kennels, daycare facilities, walkers, and sitters. A lot of what I do today comes from building the kind of reliable, communicative pet care experience I always wished I had available for my own dog. My boxer Mabel serves as the unofficial Director of Backyard Operations. Her duties include squirrel surveillance, neighborhood patrol, welcoming dog friends, and eventually collapsing somewhere dramatic after a hard day of absolutely nothing. I know trusting someone new with your pet can feel stressful. My goal is simple: provide calm, structured, reliable care with plenty of communication, photos, and updates along the way so you can feel confident your dog is safe, understood, and having a great time. Pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. Dogs here get lots of attention, outdoor time, backyard breaks, play, naps, and relaxed company throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I’ve almost always had multiple dogs, so different personalities, energy levels, and routines feel pretty normal to me at this point. I do occasionally step out briefly for errands or appointments, so dogs staying here should be comfortable with short periods alone when needed (generally around 30 minutes to 1 hour max). Weekends around here are usually pretty relaxed — backyard time, toy play, projects around the house, and eventually everybody crashing somewhere around the dog suite afterward. I keep things calm, structured, and low-volume both in my home and when caring for pets in a client’s home. At home, I have a fully fenced backyard with direct outdoor access, high-drainage pet turf, and pavers to help keep things clean, safe, and low-mud. Dogs get supervised outdoor time, backyard play, potty breaks, naps, toy play, and their own clean crate setup for downtime when needed. I pay close attention to introductions, body language, energy levels, and overall group compatibility instead of just throwing dogs together and hoping for the best. I currently cap: - daycare at 3 dogs - boarding at 2 dogs For drop-ins and walks, I’m very respectful of people’s homes, routines, and instructions. I’m a homeowner myself, so I take trust, communication, home access, and safety very seriously. My overall approach is attentive, communicative, and low-chaos for both pets and owners.
About: What sets me apart is my reliability, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand that every pet has unique needs and routines. I'm committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and fun environment while keeping pet owners updated with regular photos and messages for peace of mind. I am patient with puppies who are still learning routines and commands, and I am attentive to senior pets who may need extra care, medication reminders, slower-paced walks, or additional comfort. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while their owners are away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide pets with consistent attention, walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so regular walks and exercise are something I genuinely look forward to. I am also organized and dependable, which helps me stay on top of feeding schedules, medication needs, and any specific routines a pet may have. My goal is to make sure every pet feels comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owner is away I am very flexible, and I can take dogs on walks, feed them and play with them. I am a super reliable person, who takes my job seriously.
“My dog is very sensitive and she rarely gets along with pet sitters. Pablo did an amazing job bringing a dog with severe anxiety out of her shell. He took her for walks every day and handled here with sensitivity. I got daily updates and pictures. Would highly recommend!”

“Connor is fantastic! He is very reliable and communicative about availability and updates. Mo has taken right to him. Knowing that she gets some attention makes going back on site easier for us both. I truly appreciate Connor looking after Mo!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Magnolia
Chandler was so communicative, friendly, went above and beyond, and most importantly, so sweet with our boy! She’ll easily be our go to Rover sitter moving forward and we’re so grateful to have found her. A perfect fit and it was clear Benito was over the moon with her. Thank you Chandler!

Faye is one of our go-to sitters for our two senior kitties. Faye is great at keeping us updated on how they are doing and patient with our cat that has to take meds (and really doesn’t like to take them!). We know our boys are in good hands when Faye is watching them!

Shelby was amazing. I was out of the country for 2 weeks and the person who usually takes care of my 3 cats was unavailable for a significant period of my absence (due to my own fault - typo in my text). When my friend and I figured out the error, I had less than 24 hours to find someone to cover. I sent several requests to individuals on Rover (which I have used once several years ago), and Shelby replied almost immediately. I connected Shelby and my friend, and Shelby took over. I don't know what I would have done without her. I will absolutely hire her again.
Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our senior calico while we were away! Our plans came together pretty last minute and Rebecca was kind and communicative throughout. Our sweet kitty Clover seemed to love her! Rebecca gave Clover medication twice a day and was very skilled and conscientious in her care. I highly recommend Rebecca-she does an excellent job taking care of furry family members!

Malaina was great! Wubz doesnt tend to like…anyone, really, but it seems she warmed up while I was away. I got updates and AMAZING pictures of my fur demon while I was gone. I came back and everything was clean, food was full, and poops were sufficiently thieved. Such peace of mind to return to!
