“Anne was awesome! She took great care of my two cats while I was away. What impressed me the most was her clear, concise communication and the effort she put in to bond with my kitties. She took extra time to play with them and give them company, alongside the brass tacks of feeding and cleaning. As long as she is willing, I’ll be trusting her with my cats anytime I need a sitter.”

“Dawnula took great care of our dog and cats during a recent trip. Our cats can be especially picky and will often hide away when sitters visit, but they took an immediate liking to Dawnula, as did our dog. Will definitely be booking with Dawnula again!”
About: I’ve had pets my entire life, from guinea pigs and parakeets, to dogs and cats. I volunteered at the local humane society walking dogs and taking care of cats during high school. I’ve done a good amount of pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors through the years, and having also had to travel for work much of my adult life, appreciate being the pet parent entrusting my fur babies to someone else. I treat other peoples’ pets how I’d hope my pet sitters treat mine, and care for them as I do my own. I work from home during the week so would love to do daycare or overnight care for dogs that get along well with cats and other dogs. I have a cat and a little dog, who both love meeting new friends and having company here to play or cuddle with. I have a covered patio and plenty of play space inside my apartment, and live in a very dog friendly and walkable area.
“Krys was amazing! She was so sweet with my old arthritic cat, and helped give her painkillers even though my kitty is not the easiest to give meds to. Krys was so communicative and I had total peace of mind while I was out of town knowing that my cat was in good hands.”

“Erica was so kind and wonderful with my dogs! Despite a last minute request, she made time to meet the dogs ahead of time and they immediately were comfortable around her. Great communication to top it off, would definitely reach out again for our pups and recommend Erica to others!”

“My dog is very sensitive and she rarely gets along with pet sitters. Pablo did an amazing job bringing a dog with severe anxiety out of her shell. He took her for walks every day and handled here with sensitivity. I got daily updates and pictures. Would highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with a Havanese who is now 15 and done lots of cat and dog sitting for the past 10 years! I love all dogs and would love to help out while I am home for the summer. I can also teach your pup some fun tricks! I just graduated from nursing school and am home in Magnolia for a few months before going back to Boston. I have a super flexible schedule this summer. I am not offering boarding in my home, but open to coming to your home and keeping your dog on their typical schedule and routine.

“Anne was amazing! She responded so quickly when I reached out about booking, she took great pictures of my cat, and I could tell that he felt super comfortable with her! My cat loves to escape out the front door but Anne was careful and kept him safe. She even replaced my kitchen trash bag just because!”

This schedule is perfect for afternoon walks or evening drop-in visits while you are still at work or out for the night. I am very reliable and consistent with my timing, ensuring your pet gets their exercise and attention exactly when they need it. My experience as a licensed CNA means I am naturally observant and trained to remain calm and responsible in any situation. You will receive regular updates and photos from every visit
About: I've raised and trained 3 champion bloodline boxers from puppyhood through every life stage, so I'm very comfortable with high-energy dogs, giant personalities, structured routines, and the occasional stubborn streak. Today I split my time between consulting work and pet care. One unexpected benefit of leaving the traditional corporate tech grind is that I finally have the flexibility to spend more time doing something I've genuinely enjoyed for years—working with dogs. These days I provide structured walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and boarding throughout Ballard. I also care for pets on another pet care platform, where I've worked with everything from energetic puppies and adolescent chaos agents to shy dogs, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra time to build trust. After years of calendars, conference calls, forecasts, and executive meetings, I've discovered I much prefer helping a nervous dog gain confidence on a walk or convincing a puppy that the mystery object they found on the sidewalk is not, in fact, a snack. The dogs are usually easier to negotiate with. Through the canine grapevine, I've also learned that my official title is apparently "The Liver Treat PEZ Dispenser." I've also spent plenty of time on the owner side of pet care. Between work travel, conferences, and long weekends away, I've personally used kennels, daycare facilities, walkers, and sitters. A lot of what I do today comes from building the kind of reliable, communicative pet care experience I always wished I had available for my own dog. My boxer Mabel serves as the unofficial Director of Backyard Operations. Her duties include squirrel surveillance, neighborhood patrol, welcoming dog friends, and eventually collapsing somewhere dramatic after a hard day of absolutely nothing. I know trusting someone new with your pet can feel stressful. My goal is simple: provide calm, structured, reliable care with plenty of communication, photos, and updates along the way so you can feel confident your dog is safe, understood, and having a great time. Pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. Dogs here get lots of attention, outdoor time, backyard breaks, play, naps, and relaxed company throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I’ve almost always had multiple dogs, so different personalities, energy levels, and routines feel pretty normal to me at this point. I do occasionally step out briefly for errands or appointments, so dogs staying here should be comfortable with short periods alone when needed (generally around 30 minutes to 1 hour max). Weekends around here are usually pretty relaxed — backyard time, toy play, projects around the house, and eventually everybody crashing somewhere around the dog suite afterward. I keep things calm, structured, and low-volume both in my home and when caring for pets in a client’s home. At home, I have a fully fenced backyard with direct outdoor access, high-drainage pet turf, and pavers to help keep things clean, safe, and low-mud. Dogs get supervised outdoor time, backyard play, potty breaks, naps, toy play, and their own clean crate setup for downtime when needed. I pay close attention to introductions, body language, energy levels, and overall group compatibility instead of just throwing dogs together and hoping for the best. I currently cap: - daycare at 3 dogs - boarding at 2 dogs For drop-ins and walks, I’m very respectful of people’s homes, routines, and instructions. I’m a homeowner myself, so I take trust, communication, home access, and safety very seriously. My overall approach is attentive, communicative, and low-chaos for both pets and owners.
“From our first initial contact I could tell Conner was thorough, attentive, and caring. He asked great questions that a sitter had never asked before. We felt confident that is something terrible were to happen when we were gone, our cats would be in good hands. Our cats seemed to warm up to him quickly which is impressive for them. Conner was also very flexible and understanding about key drop off when our building had an unexpected issue.”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats since I was about 10 years old. I absolutely adore animals, which has prompted me to frequently volunteer in animal shelters where I walk, bathe and play with dogs, as well as clean their kennel, feed them, and even provide medical care. I've always owned dogs and have frequently watched friends' and family members' animals. I have proficient experience with both puppies and senior dogs. My genuine love for animals moves me to care for your pet as if it were my own. My partner and I care for animals together. So between the two of us, there is almost always someone available to walk, play with, and generally care for your pet. I'm a strong believer in frequent potty breaks for dogs and frequent playtime/stimulation if they're energetic and need more activity. I am happy to accommodate in whatever ways necessary to make sure your animal is happy and well taken care of! I am very patient and generous with love and cuddles. I understand it can be stressful for pets to be away from their families and homes, so I always go the extra mile to make sure they feel comfortable and loved while always from their favorite humans!

“Desi would have preferred we stayed in Canada. He was very happy with Shelby. She communicated and shared pictures proactively so we knew how he was doing the entire time we were gone. We will be using her again!”

I’m comfortable with a wide range of pets, from the largest dogs to the smallest cats. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, routine-driven, or a little quirky, I’m patient and attentive to their individual needs. I’ve also always been a pet parent myself, so I understand how important it is to know your animal is in safe, caring hands. I prioritize consistency, clear communication, and making sure your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for to make sure they’re comfortable, well looked after, and getting the attention they’re used to. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and consistent environment for every pet in my care. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so I can keep things as familiar and comfortable as possible - whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or quiet time. In my home, I maintain a clean, pet-safe space and closely supervise pets, making sure they’re secure and never left unattended for long periods. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any changes so I can respond quickly if something seems off. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and follow all instructions carefully, keeping routines consistent and providing regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I’ve cared for a wide range of animals - from dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, and farm animals - so I’m comfortable adapting to different needs and ensuring every pet feels safe, cared for, and at ease.
“Great care for my kitty while I was out of town, took lots of photos and made sure to go above and beyond for each individual stop in including treats, playing, and litter box.”

Ingrid was amazing! She contacted us quickly when our cats were having a negative reaction to their new food, and stayed with them until we were sure they were OK. She even cleaned up the pukes and was SO helpful in describing what was going on. 1000% amazing experience!

Jacqueline was super communicative and took lots of photos, which I appreciated! She's very warm, welcoming and I felt very safe leaving my senior dog in her care. Added bonus: she knows and feels comfortable handling dog-aggressive dogs, which was a big relief for me!

Malaina was an excellent sitter for our cat and I'd easily recommend her to anyone. She was very communicative and provided great photos and videos to help put our minds at ease while traveling. She also went above in beyond in making sure our little guy was getting a new medication and checking their litter consistently. I won't hesitate to use her services again and you shouldn't either!

Rhea is an amazing pet sitter and playmate for our three kitties. We had an extended vacation and it’s always hard to leave the cats that long. Rhea did a great job updating us daily with pics and info on how they were doing and made sure we knew the cats were doing well and we didn’t need to worry about them at all. We absolutely wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch the kitties again.
