About: I’ve pet sat for my friends on multiple occasions and even had a dog of my own (technically my boyfriend’s) for 2 years - before he took a job and moved to Hawaii. Now, I’m without my sweet, living, gentle Penny & I have so much love & care to give to other furry pets! I work 4 ten hour days Mon through Thu, so I will have my weekends open to check on, stay with or walk your beloved furry. I talk to my furry friends and I approach them in a calm and safe, not anxious, manner. I would say I’m pretty in-tune to a pets needs & dogs & cats seem to love me! But I check to make sure they’re fed, they drank water, they’re walked, sometimes they may need stimulation - so some engaging play. I can be firm if need be.

About: Hi! My name is Sandra, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home where my mom is a veterinarian, so I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Our family has cared for around 10 dogs over the years, giving me experience with puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, small breeds, and dogs with different personalities and needs. Being around veterinary medicine taught me how important it is to pay attention to each pet’s behavior, routines, and overall well-being. While I am not a veterinarian myself, I understand the importance of providing safe, patient, and loving care and recognizing when something may need extra attention. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide personalized care for your pets. About: I grew up with all types of dogs and quickly learned that they all had their own unique personalities and quirks. It doesn't take long for dogs to warm up to me, they can tell that I am a dog person at heart. I do not own a dog anymore and enjoy spending time with all types of dogs. Sometimes dogs do take time to settle in, so it's best to start out with a walk before taking them inside. I have access to a large enclosed rooftop patio to play or to get some sun. I have a lot of dog toys, but feel free to bring your own. I can also train doggos to do a few basic tricks, but I am not a professional. I go running and can take your doggo on a run if they can keep up. lol There are a lot of activities to do in my neighborhood, but when inside dogs love looking out my windows to watch all the people/dogs walk by. I will go outside w them every couple hours. Im also taking the rest of the year off from a normal job so I am home most of the time. I never leave a dog unattended for more than a couple hours. I have decades of experience and I have great reviews. I try to respond to all requests immediately. I have a large extended family and they all leave their dogs with me. Thank you!! I'm up at 7 everyday, going for long walks every morning. I have a comfy "dog couch" that they are always welcome to use. I am home most of the day so your dog will not be left alone. If I have another dog scheduled during the time you requested, you will be informed so you can make the best decision for your four legged friend beforehand to ensure a safe environment for us all. I usually will take another walk at 10pm and then go to sleep. Repeat the next day... I take safety seriously. Sometimes it's best to do a meet and greet, but not always. I'm available to come to your place or I can watch your pet at my place. I do spend a lot of time on my enclosed rooftop, most dogs really enjoy this aspect of my place. I live near Gas Works and like to go there often. I take great care in the safety of all the pets I'm responsible for and I gain their trust quickly. I try to immediately respond to any inquiries unless it's late at night. In August I will generally not be boarding, I'll only be able to do doggy day care. If you don't need boarding or day care you can also request a dog walk, or a check in. My rates are relatively low for these services. If you refer someone to me you can get discounts on all of my services!!

I currently go to school part time, so I'll have lot's of time to spend with your pets. I'm available almost every day for dog walking services, and weekends for house-sittings. I do not own a car and take the bus, so sometimes arrival times will vary. I am committed to fostering a safe and fun environment for your precious pup or kitty. I will follow owner instructions well, and communicate any issues when they happen. Animals will be treated with the upmost care, and I will ensure their comfort and safety in all situations.
