About: Farm kid from Pennsylvania here! I grew up taking care of everything from dogs and cats to piglet runts, cows, chickens, and yes — a pet raccoon. If it had fur, feathers, or a heartbeat, I was probably looking after it. Your pet's in experienced (and genuinely animal-obsessed) hands. I'm currently between design contracts, so I have plenty of flexible time — perfect for daily play, drop-in sits, or extended boarding whenever your cat needs me. In my home, my responsible, loving 8-year-old happily plays with visiting pets. I keep cats safely indoors, offer healthy treats, and give them affection and attention all day.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life. From docile Labs to energetic Boxers to retired Grey Hounds. I’ve personally owned a Border Aussie. I got her as a puppy, taught her to herd my chickens and trained her on verbal, visual and whistle commands. I am comfortable with all life stages and even with medical needs (had to rehab my herding dog through a TPLO surgery). I have no issues administering medication orally or subcutaneously. I work full time from home, my schedule is a little flexible. I typically don’t have mid day meetings which is where I’m looking to fill my lunch with a furry friend. I am off usually around 4/4:30 so my afternoons can be filled with furry friends as well! As pet parents we are all going to have different ways of managing our pets. I’m not here to rewrite rules, break routines or bend the rules because “the parents are gone”. I want your pet healthy and happy. I will treat them as my own. I will treat your home as my home.

About: I’ve owned cats my whole life up until my recent move (had to leave my bonded pair with family). I love all animals but have a special spot in my heart for all cats - playful, sleepy, quiet, vocal, attached to you or afraid to leave their corner! I would love the opportunity to help you care for yours. I’m currently a barista and in school part time. I generally work or take classes for part of the day (gone for about 4-9 hours at the most). I believe that your pets take priority. I try to first address basic needs (scooping litter, walking them, ensuring they have enough food/water, etc) then move on to making sure their emotional needs are met as well. This varies based on their personality but typically involves playing with them, cuddling or petting, and any other activities your pet enjoys.

About: I’ve always had at least one dog and cat of all sizes and love working with animals. I am available to house sit, walk, and more! I have experience working with farm animals like horses, sheep, and cattle in addition to 2 years of volunteering at a dog and cat shelter. One year of experience as a veterinarian pharmacy technician. Please let me know if you are interested! I am always available to visit test it out! Currently house/pet sitting for work while adjusting to recently moving back to Seattle. Available 24/7 with occasional visits back home to restock/check-in. Not able to take pets in but can house sit. I do not accept pets into my home but am always available to house sit! I take all precautions to ensure the pet’s safety at home, on walks, and in cars. About: As a former dog daycare employee in the Queen Anne/Magnolia area and a current volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter, I have plenty of experience with these loving animals, sometimes watching up to a few dozen of them at a time. I have lots of experience in pet sitting/walking friends and family dogs! I'm currently available most days, morning to evening. I’m a volunteer at the Seattle Animal Shelter and the Regional Animal Shelter (King County) but only a few hours a week. I will make sure to keep this updated frequently. Especially on walks when there are other dogs/humans nearby, I will make sure to keep your dog at a safe distance to ensure the safety of everyone!

About: I've pet sat for friends and family members for years. Just show and tell me how to care for your extended family members and I assure you I can and will do it. I love getting to know the individual personalities of pets and bonding with them. Being a cat owner myself, I understand the trust it takes to allow someone new into your life and home to care for your pet when you're away. I like to take my time getting to know a pet and their owner(s) so we can establish a solid bond. I am currently working part time so I have lots of free time to offer towards caring for your pet(s) and whatever else you may require from extra help. Currently I can drop in for visits twice a day to provide feedings, water, play time, and or dog walk twice a day. Cats too! Each pet owner is different so I really go off of instructions from the pet owner for how to best care for their pets while they’re away.

About: Hello, my name is April! Although I'm new to Rover, I have taken care of multiple cats and dogs for friends over the past 10 years while they are out of town on weekend or month long trips. I've also owned pet rats and cared for a friend's hamster, so I'm comfortable with small animals too. I have experience with giving oral medication to cats and rats. Most of my pet-sitting experience has been with cats, but I love dogs too! I will only accept 1 client at a time per day, so I can make sure your pets get all the attention they need! I would like to do a meet and greet with new clients before accepting bookings, to make sure that your pet and I would be a good fit and that I can provide the care that they need! What to Expect for Overnight Housesitting - I have a foldable mattress I can bring to sleep on, so you don't need to worry about setting up a bed for me. I don't mind sleeping in a bed with your pets though if that's what they prefer. - I can stay with your pets during weekdays since I work from home, as long as I can use your Wi-Fi. - I can also go back to my home for a couple hours everyday to shower/get food, as long as your pet is okay with being left alone for a few hours. But if you would like me to stay for 24 hours a day, that can be arranged as long as I can use your shower and kitchen. - I may ask if my boyfriend or a friend can come over during the day if you are okay with me having guests over. I can bring my boyfriend to the meet and greet as well so he can meet you and your pets. Schedule: I'll try to follow your pet's regular schedule as much as I can! I recently quit my job to take a career break, so my schedule is very flexible. I'll be sure to respect your space and make sure your pet feels at ease while you're away! I'm also happy to share my location for overnight housesitting if that would make you feel more at ease about your pets not being left alone for too long. I can also provide as many daily updates as you need.
