“Davis was fantastic with our dog, a 75 lb mixed breed. She is very anxious when we leave her with a sitter. She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”

“Although my 6-year-old miniature dachshund, Piper, has stayed with friends/family before, this was my first time using a professional service like Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Maria was exceptionally responsive and flexible with timing. She sent plenty of photos/videos/updates during our short weekend trip that truly set our minds at ease. Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. She even took Piper out to a cafe in a stroller for enrichment since she physically can't walk far on her own! Considering my partner has experience petsitting for over two decades and I worry (perhaps too much) about the care my dog will receive while I'm away, we were both impressed with Maria and would gladly hire her again to take care of Piper.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since a was young and love being around them! I’ve also trained a few of my family’s puppies. My older dog recently crossed the rainbow bridge, so I have extra snuggles to give your dog! I am used to potty accidents or dribbles in the house after having an older dog. I currently work 12 hr shifts at UWMC so I have blocks of days off depending on my schedule. My husband works from home and was previously taking care of our chihuahua when I was at work, I love playing fetch at the dog park and going on walks. If your dog wants to stay the night, no problem! I have extra dog beds and toys to make your dog comfortable, except for rawhide or other bones. Dogs are allowed on the couch and can sleep at the end of the my bed. I’m also able to give your dog any medication or special diet if necessary.

About: I got my first pup when I turned 11 and have cared for them ever since, going on 14 years of owning a pet. Both dogs and cats! My husband starts walking all of the dogs at around 8am. I will open my fenced yard at midday for a midday pee break. My husband will come back at around 6:30pm to give all of the dogs another walk. We usually feed the dogs their morning and evening meals after they come back from their walks. We will open the yard again before bed for a late night pee break.

She’s also sometimes stand offish with men she doesn’t know, but she liked Davis immediately when we met him in a meet and greet before our trip. Davis’ calm, confident way with dogs put us at ease, and we felt comfortable leaving our pup with him for a full week. A few days before our trip, our dog got a dog bite that got infected, so we had to leave her with new medications and care instructions. Davis handled everything with no stress, made sure she got her medication, and took great care of her while she healed. We came home to a happy, healthy dog and would absolutely hire Davis again and recommend to others.”

“Peter was the best dog sitter I could have found for my pup. Luke is 14 yo, so leaving him with someone isn’t always easy. Peter made the whole process incredibly smooth and friendly, and he made Luke feel right at home. He even took him on little adventures with Nova, while being very mindful of Luke’s needs and limits. Not only did he make Luke feel like part of his pack, but he also gave me great peace of mind with daily updates and photos where I could clearly see that Luke (even though he probably missed me) couldn’t have been in better hands. I’m especially grateful to Peter because when my return travel plans got complicated and the schedule didn’t quite line up, he was extremely flexible and helped me so much, making sure Luke got home safe and sound. Without a doubt, he will be my go-to person to take care of Luke the next time I have to travel.”
“Samantha was absolutely wonderful taking care of Teddy. Teddy had lots of fun playing with Samantha, meeting her friends and taking very long walks with her! Samantha was so patient with Teddy when he was first nervous. She sent me consistent updates on Teddy & each time, it looked like he was having a blast. In fact, after she took care of Teddy, Teddy & I ran into her on a walk and he was soooo excited to see her again. Definitely recommend Samantha - she was kind, responsive, and made Teddy feel right at home in her place.”
“Babu stayed with Jennifer and Ken for the second time. What’s best about them is that they are both passionate about dog care and equally experienced with dogs. This gives me a great peace of mind. They shared a ton of pics and videos of Babu playing and then dozing off exhausted from the fun. I am grateful he got that attention, time and care from them and they went above and beyond to make sure he was taken care of just as their own dog, who Babu gets along with super well. I am super comfortable with them. Will book again for sure.”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime.
