“Amanda was so great and helpful to my 2 cats! She was thorough and made sure their areas were clean. She made sure they had extra water and food, just im case. Amanda also did a really good job communicating and letting me know what was going on. I will definitely be trying to request Amanda for future times.”

“Rosy was simply fantastic! We have three very different dogs, including Mr. Attitude, and she was great with them all. She kept us up to date with pictures and humorous summaries of her visits. I think in every way, Rosy has gone above and beyond. It goes without saying that we will look to book her again in the future.”

“Sabrina is the absolute best!! Our kitty had a bit of a poopy blowout and Sabrina cleaned up not only our fur baby, but also our home. She is incredibly responsive and responsible. Sabrina consistently went above and beyond, even watering a few of our dry plants. Don’t even think about booking anyone else, Sabrina is the best!”

About: Experienced Care for Your Pup :-) I’ve spent more than 15 years working with and training horses and dogs, including raising and training my own dogs from puppyhood. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, structured, and relationship-based approach that helps animals feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I’m happy to help with both ongoing routines and occasional support when schedules get busy, travel comes up, or your dog simply needs an extra walk or check-in. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I care deeply about creating a positive experience for both pets and their people. My resident pup, Hank, is a lil 28 pound Corgi / Cocker Spaniel mix who is great with most every guest in our house, but I've learned that big dogs with strong, dominant personalities can intimidate him (typically German Shepherds, Malinois, Boxers, Bully breeds). Retrievers, Setters and other bigger pups are typically fine :-) We also have one bossy resident cat who keeps to herself, but is good at firmly and safely setting boundaries with pups if needed - just a quick air swat and hiss. I’d love to meet you and your dog to see if we’re a good fit. I currently work from home, stepping out to walk my dog or to run errands. I also take Hank to the dog park every morning from 9 - 10am, as it's a stone's throw away. Once I get to know your dog and with your permission, dog park visits may be an option. Because of my experience, I’m often able to quickly assess a dog’s comfort level, energy, communication style, and individual needs - whether they need more structure, more patience, a slower introduction, reassurance, or simply space to settle in. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and adapting my approach to help them feel secure and successful. For boarding and in-home care, I prefer a quieter, lower-volume environment where dogs can receive more personalized attention. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medication needs, exercise levels, and behavioral cues to help dogs feel as comfortable and settled as possible. You can expect: • dependable and professional communication • regular updates and photos • close attention to your dog’s routines and needs • thoughtful, individualized care I’m especially comfortable with: • anxious or sensitive dogs • senior dogs (who are mobile - I'm in a townhouse) • high-energy dogs who benefit from structure • puppies and younger dogs learning routines • dogs who need patience, consistency, and calm handling My approach is calm, attentive, and grounded in trust and consistency. I understand how important routines, communication, and environment are for animals, and I strive to create a positive, low-stress experience while they’re in my care. I offer: • dog walking • one-off or occasional walks • repeat weekly walks • drop-in visits • overnight boarding in my home • daytime companionship and care
“Liza is amazing! She’s taken care of my cat Phoebe a few times while I’ve been out of town. Phoebe loves her, and I know Phoebe is in great hands. Liza also picked up some packages for me that were delivered when I was gone, which was very helpful. I will definitely book Liza again.”

“Allie is an amazing, reliable and trustworthy pet sitter! We are so glad we booked her to care for our two kitties while we were out of town. Her communication was impeccable and we received photos and updates daily. Thanks so much Allie! Oskie and Jango will miss you until next time :)”

About: Professional Dog Training & Pet Care You Can Trust Hi! I’m a dedicated dog trainer and pet care professional with over a decade of experience, offering pet services since 2015. I offer dog training, as well as provide reliable dog walking and pet sitting for clients who want knowledgeable, compassionate care for their dogs. I am GoodPup Trainer Certified and have completed a hands-on apprenticeship, giving me both the technical knowledge and real-world experience needed to help dogs and their humans succeed. My training style is positive, clear, and tailored to each dog, focusing on building strong communication, confidence, and good behavior that lasts. I’ve worked with dogs of many ages, temperaments, and energy levels — from puppies learning the basics to adult dogs needing structure, manners, or behavior support. Whether you’re looking for foundational training, ongoing reinforcement, or a trainer who truly understands dogs, I’m here to help. Dogs have always been a central part of my life. I shared many wonderful years with my own dog, who passed in 2025. Caring for her deepened my understanding of canine behavior, patience, and the importance of consistent, compassionate care. I also volunteer working with dogs, which allows me to continue giving back while expanding my experience with different personalities and needs. These experiences influence my care for every dog, rooted in patience, understanding, and respect. Services Offered: Dog training (puppies & adults) Behavior support and reinforcement Dog walking Pet sitting If you’re looking for a knowledgeable trainer and dependable pet care provider who truly puts your dog first, I’d love to work with you. I am available everyday, Monday - Sunday. I offer a flexible schedule throughout the day for training, walks and drop-ins, as well as overnight boarding or sitting. I am able to care for your pet at your home or my home. I will safely enter and leave the house as to not let any pet out of the door. I will ensure we have the equipment we need to have a safe and fun walk. I do ask that owners leave all necessary gear such as harness/leash/poop bags, in one area by the door for easy access. I can crate your dog if needed. And can offer outdoor playtime in your fenced yard.
About: Dogs have always been family to me. I grew up with a mom who never met a stray or rescue animal she wouldn’t try to help, so caring for pets was simply part of everyday life. I’ve cared for, played with, and halfway trained many dogs through every stage, from energetic puppies to senior companions. I’ve had perfect sweethearts and anxious grumps. I loved them all. As I transition out of traditional employment to build my freelance business, I’d love to spend some of my newfound time helping local pet owners by providing safe, reliable, and fun walks for their dogs. I’m almost always home and available, and I’d love to hang out with your four-legged family member! As a freelancer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time throughout the day for walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins. I enjoy getting out from behind a computer to grab fresh air, so dog walks fit naturally into my routine, and I genuinely look forward to spending time with animals each week. My dog Weyland would attest, but he is taking a post-breakfast nap in the sun at this moment. I find that pets are happiest when they get to stick to their routine. As a fellow dog owner who just hired a babysitter for week, I know how many bullet points and peculiarities I was compelled to jot down. It felt a bit overly involved, but at the same time I knew it was an effective roadmap for my dog’s health and happiness, as well as the babysitter’s success and ease with him. Those are the ultimate goals, so I understand how important the details are. I follow any instructions carefully regarding feeding, walks, medications, and house rules while making sure pets receive plenty of attention and affection. That’s simply what they need. My dog Weyland needs to be scowled at before he will eat his breakfast, and dinner is a whole different thing 🤷♂️ I don’t understand, but believe me, I get it.
“Lauren is a wonderful sitter! She sends incredible pictures of my cat and makes sure to give him lots of special attention so I know he’s well cared for 😊”

About: When I was just a little kid a big parrot flew into our house, and I kept it as a pet from the age of 6 to 18. Then when I went off to college my parents took care of it. After college I helped take care of my sister’s dogs. And I lived with a girl for a while who owned two cats that I took care of so I have lots of experience with different animals. I even used to own a guinea pig at one point in my life. So my entire life has revolved around taking care of pets. So I figured this would be a great job for me. I’m extremely loving and caring and will treat your pets just like I would mind. I’m a very loving and caring person. I currently am unemployed. I’m looking for a job, but as of right now, my schedule is fully open. So please hit me up whenever I need the money. Well, besides the basics like feeding them and making sure they’re going to the bathroom and drinking water, I always play with them. Show them attention when they want attention and don’t show them attention when they don’t want attention. I’m pretty good at reading body language of an animal. I love playing with dogs and cats. I know it’s important for them to get out their energy so they can have a good night sleep. I love going on walks. So I also do that in anything else like taking them to the dog park
“Great care for pippin! I always have a very happy cat when I return home. Ana is super responsive, friendly, and communicative and I’ll be booking her for future visits!”

“My cats warmed up to Leslie immediately, and she took good care of them and sent pictures! She’s friendly and reliable and I look forward to having her watch my cats again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for years, but injured my food a while back and am joining Rover as more focused on cats. My wife and I have two cats at home - Bentley and Rory. I’ll take care of your cats with the same attention that I give to my own. Clean litter box, breakfasts and dinners on time, water in the bowl, playing with string toys, and general care. I am able to administer shots, liquid medication, and pills as needed. *if you have a dog, I cannot go on long walks, but for dogs not needing long walks I’d be absolutely thrilled to take care of them. I work part time as a driving instructor with non-adjacent days off. I’m free most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays - as well as early morning until on most other days. I’m pretty easy to get ahold of outside of work. I’m happy to give your pets the same attention and care that you do. I’m good with staying on top of medication schedules, not afraid to go to the vet if something happens, and overall a highly responsible pet owner and caretaker.

Olympic Manor pet parents share their Rover experiences
My sweet Emerson was so excited today, on his 7th birthday, to have his new friend, Lauren, take him for a fun invigorating walk! I certainly can see why Lauren is so highly regarded by others who have hired her on Rover.com! She rates a 10+++ in my opinion as a highly trustworthy, personable, capable, knowledgeable dog sitter!

Noie did such an amazing job! We needed someone last minute due a family emergency and she was absolutely amazing. She came and met the cats beforehand so they knew who she was, and then she gave incredible updates while we were away. Our cats really liked her as well (as our shy cat came to see her), and she played with them as well as made sure they had what they needed!
