About: I’ve always loved animals and grew up with two cats and a dog named Rudy. I worked at an animal shelter in high school and was a dog walker in Chicago for one very cold winter. I’m currently a dog mom to a 1 year old doodle mix named Indiana (Indy). I know how important it is to have peace of mind when finding someone to care for your dog and my promise is to provide the same level of care to your dog as I do my own. My schedule is open. I’m available for one-on-one walks and am happy to walk two dogs at a time as long as the dogs are a good match (familiar with walking together). One-on-one walks allow me to focus my full attention on your dog. I like to understand from each owner what their dog’s personality and preferences are, so they enjoy the walk and feel safe and cared for.

About: I’m an animal lover at heart and believe I have a great intuition when it comes to an animal’s needs or emotions. I know our pets can’t truly speak for themselves, so I try my best to pay attention to their body language and the various noises they make. I truly just want to give animals the care and love they deserve. I was recently laid off from my weekday 9-5 and don’t have anything else currently lined up. Because of that, I have a lot of flexibility throughout my day and weeks. I pay a lot of attention to your pets when I am with them, whether that’s just being mindful of where they are and what they are doing, or petting them and giving them affection. If there are areas within the house where the pets are not allowed, I honor that, and I also make sure all doors to the outside are properly secured.

About: I grew up with cats, and I currently have an adopted American Shorthair named Stash, who is basically the love of my life. I know how anxiety-provoking it can be to leave your pets, even for a day, and I’d love to be the friendly face who stops by to give them some attention, playtime, and care. I’m regularly asked by friends and neighbors to pet sit, and I’m the person who stops to pet a dog on the street. Once at a park, someone even asked if I was a Disney princess because animals kept coming over to me. Stash has asthma, so I’m also comfortable caring for pets who need a little extra attention or medication. Whether your pet wants all the cuddles or prefers that I admire them respectfully from across the room, I’ll follow their lead—and probably send you too many pictures. I’m currently transitioning careers, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m available throughout the week for cat drop-ins, feeding and playtime, as well as dog walks and check-ins. I treat every pet as if they were my own! They’ll get all the love, attention, playtime, and care they deserve. I’ll follow their normal routine, make sure they’re comfortable and happy, and of course provide plenty of cuddles (if they’re into that!) and pictures for you!

About: I raised a Jack Russell Terrier mix from the time he was a puppy to the time he died at age 16 and three months.I then ended up moving in with a friend to care for her 4 dogs, 2 Dauschund mixes - litter mates, one of which has epilepsy, an austrailian cattle dog mix, and a service dog named pancakes that is a mix of all the big dogs. I have also regularly dog and cat sat for friends for over a decade, and did dog walking through wag 1 year until the pandimic. Im also a personal trainer, so pretty strong and fit! I have also safely rescued a friends chicken from a raccoon while dog sitting for her! I have also pet sat and dog walked, checked in on, and pet sat for seniors, puppies and special needs dogs for over 2 decades now, including cats, dogs and chickens. However, I am alergic to cats and can no longer take care of cats. I own my own personal training business, so that comes first. I do in home personal training. That has a peak season and a down season So my availability will first and foremost depend on my training client schedule. That said, most days I have some flexibility and availability and can work in dog walks and visits/check ins throughout the day.9 I will not be carring for dogs at my home, as one of ours has epilesie and cannot be around strange dogs (it triggers his seizures.) In your home, I will work hard to follow your instructions, as you know your dog best. I also will do a preliminary scope out of the intended walking area before setting out on any dog walks. Advice from you on areas to avoid or prefered routes for your dog and neighbourhood will be given full attention, as again you know your dog and neighborhood best. First visits are for getting to know your dog and their needs. Every visit will be about best meeting the needs and caring for your beloved buddy!
