About: I’ve spent the past 5 years taking care of the world’s neediest dachshund since she was 8 weeks old. When she became paralyzed in her back legs, this led me down the path of caretaking for other disabled dogs or dogs with special needs. I’m trained in bladder expression, and our home is injury proofed for dogs! We love dogs of all kinds, disabled or not, and love to treat them as our own. Our dog Polly is also incredibly friendly and loves other dogs. I work full time from home with a very flexible schedule. I am able to travel to help, and am more than happy to host. We take our girl Polly on a stroller walk 3 times a day, and are more than happy to bring others along with us. We live in a townhouse that is fully secured with no avenues for exit. About: I have had a lifelong love for animals and years of hands on pet care experience. I grew up around golden retrievers and I started walking and sitting for family and friends in middle school. My own golden passed away when I was 26, and I currently have a 10 year old bunny, who I have had since she was a baby. I also previously lived with a roommate and her energetic australian shepherd for five years, so I am very familiar with the needs of high energy dogs. I also worked as a dog walker and pet sitter through Wag while living in Los Angeles for 3 years, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am reliable, attentive, and truly enjoy spending time with animals. I have mostly open availability throughout the week, which allows me to be flexible and dependable for pet care needs, whether it's daily walks, check-ins, or overnight sittings! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always aim to maintain their usual routine to help them feel comfortable and secure while their owner is away. I make sure they are fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of playtime, and go on regular walks. I follow any specific instructions, including medications or crate time, and keep the home tidy. For walks, I focus on safety, exercise, and giving each dog the attention they need. I also treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they feel loved and cared for while their humans are away!
