“Kathleen was absolutely fantastic with Biscuit, super attentive to his needs and played with him so much!!! She sent tons of pictures and updates! A package was even delivered to my door that wasn't mine and she took the initiative to find the correct owner and get it to her--so above and beyond! I'd recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a sitter with attention to detail, great communication, and a great connection with animals! Thank you Kathleen!!!”

“Chandler is the best! We booked her last-minute and she completely exceeded our expectations. She was incredibly responsive, flexible, friendly, and made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Our dog absolutely loved meeting her and spending time with her, and it was clear he was in great hands while we were away. We felt so comfortable knowing he was being well cared for. We would absolutely trust Chandler for all of our future pet sitting needs and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring!”

“Jolene was an absolute delight to work with and to entrust my beloved Wiggles with. Jolene sent me pictures of Wiggles in her happy places with a happy face. Jolene also took the time to water my thirsty plants in this hot, hot weather. Showing how considerate and caring she was of our home.”
About: Hello! I'm Felix—the neighborhood Liver Treat PEZ Dispenser dogs have secretly been talking about. Today I split my time between consulting work and pet care. One unexpected benefit of leaving the traditional corporate tech grind is that I finally have the flexibility to spend more time doing something I've genuinely enjoyed for years—working with dogs. I've raised and trained three champion Boxers over the past 20 years, from puppyhood through every life stage, so I'm very comfortable with high-energy dogs, giant personalities, structured routines, and the occasional stubborn streak. Along the way I've trained through AKC Canine Good Citizen puppy classes, German Schutzhund foundation work, and advanced off-leash obedience. Each of my Boxers could confidently hold a stay with distractions from over 50 yards away, recall on command, and walk at heel completely off leash. Whether it's a quick neighborhood walk or a longer stay, I treat every dog like my own—with structure, focused play, plenty of one-on-one attention, earned rewards, and yes... probably a little too much silly dog talk. My goal isn't to create dogs that depend on me—it's to provide care that reinforces the healthy routines, confidence, and life skills you've already worked hard to build at home. These days I primarily provide structured neighborhood walks and drop-in visits throughout Ballard and the surrounding neighborhoods, taking advantage of the flexibility my consulting schedule provides. Most of the relationships I build begin with walks, drop-ins, or a meet and greet. Over time, dogs who thrive in my care and are a great fit may earn an invitation to boutique daycare or boarding, complete with a fully fenced backyard that's a bit of a unicorn in Ballard's dense city environment. I intentionally keep those services lower volume so every dog receives the same calm, structured attention that earned them a spot in the first place. After years of calendars, conference calls, forecasts, and executive meetings, I've discovered I much prefer helping a nervous dog gain confidence on a walk or convincing a puppy that the mystery object they found on the sidewalk is not, in fact, a snack. The dogs are usually easier to negotiate with. I've also spent plenty of time on the owner side of pet care. Between work travel, conferences, and long weekends away, I've personally used walkers, drop-in providers, daycare facilities, kennels, and sitters. A lot of what I do today comes from building the kind of calm, reliable, and communicative pet care experience I always wished I had available for my own dog. I know trusting someone new with your pet can feel stressful. My goal is simple: provide calm, structured, reliable care with plenty of communication, photos, and updates along the way so you can feel confident your dog is safe, understood, and having a great time. Because I split my time between consulting and pet care, my schedule is intentionally designed around a smaller number of clients instead of maximizing volume. That gives me the flexibility to provide neighborhood walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and boarding without rushing from appointment to appointment. Whether your dog is here for a quick visit or a longer stay, they're part of my daily routine—not just another stop on the calendar. There are plenty of potty breaks, walks, play sessions, naps, belly rubs (when requested), and photo updates sprinkled throughout the day. I also keep my calendar flexible whenever possible, so if your plans change or you need help on short notice, don't hesitate to reach out. If I can make it work, I'll always do my best. I believe the safest daycare groups are built intentionally, not by simply saying yes to every booking. That's why I prefer to build relationships through walks, drop-in and/or sitter visits, or a meet and greet before welcoming dogs into daycare or boarding. Whether the care takes place in your home or mine, my philosophy stays the same: learn your dog's routines, understand what helps them succeed, and provide calm, structured care that's tailored to their individual needs. My home was designed specifically with dogs in mind. The fully fenced backyard features pet turf, pavers, and excellent drainage, which means zero mud—even during Seattle's rainy season. Dogs have room to zoom, play, sniff, sunbathe, or conduct important investigations that only they understand, all while play sessions are supervised by a constant referee. Dogs who demonstrate appropriate social behavior also earn access to the community toy box stocked with balls, rope tugs, chew toys, and other favorites. It keeps play rewarding, helps prevent unnecessary resource guarding, and ensures every dog has a positive experience. Cleanliness matters just as much as play. This is my home and backyard—not just a dog pen—so I take pride in keeping everything tidy, clean, and welcoming. Friends, family, guests, and dogs all enjoy this little Ballard unicorn of a yard, so it's maintained to the same standard I'd want for everyone. I clean consistently with pet-safe products and intentionally keep my daycare and boarding groups small so every dog receives plenty of attention, supervision, and opportunities to decompress throughout the day.
“Connor is fantastic! He is very reliable and communicative about availability and updates. Mo has taken right to him. Knowing that she gets some attention makes going back on site easier for us both. I truly appreciate Connor looking after Mo!”

“Madeline was able to swing by for a meet and greet and do a couple of drop in visits on short notice. She was on time, always provided a couple of pics during her visits, and seemed to give my pup lots of love.”

“Marcia was very friendly and great with our kitten. We were nervous to leave her alone for the first time, but Marcia sent lots of pictures and took a lot of our worry away. Will definitely be contacting her again in the future :)”

“Another great experience with Allie! She watched our kitty for the second time and took such great care of him during the drop in visits. She always sends the best photos and videos, and has been patient and caring with our quirky cat who has multiple personalities. We will be booking her again next time! Thanks Allie!”

“Carissa does a wonderful job with our puppy and we are so grateful for her help. Excellent communication and updates. Sucia is always so happy after walks with Carissa. We will definitely work with her again!”

“Caroline took wonderful care of our cats, Fern and Huckleberry! Even our shy cat warmed up to her quickly. She was kind, communicative, and very understanding when our plans changed last minute due to illness. We’d happily book with her again!”

“Spencer was great with our cat, Matcha! She takes a long time to warm up to people normally, but she seemed to warm quickly to him. We will be using Spencer again in the future without a doubt!”

About: I’m a lover of all dogs and cats! I trained my husky-mix Lila from a pup to a dog in her prime and have house sat many cats. I’ve attended many advanced obedience and agility classes and would love to teach your pets these skills when out on our walks and home visits. If a friend is out of town, I’m the person they call to help with their pet. I’m a dependable, kind, pet owner who would love to befriend your fluffy loved one! I’m currently taking a break from the corporate life and have a lot of time on my hands during weekdays! Unfortunately, I’m not available most weekends, but I can make exceptions. For the first meeting, I like to meet the pet with the pet parent to get a sense of their temperament and comfort level with me. From there, we can start walks or home visits if everyone is safe and secure. I’d love to send photo updates to brighten your day!
“Chip was great! Felt like I left my cat in great hands! I got the sweetest pictured during his drop ins which made me very happy! Will absolutely book with Chip again in the future!!”

About: As a life-long pet owner, I know the peace of mind that comes from knowing your Pets are not in the hands of some random stranger. I have cared for cats and dogs over many years, all with a wide spectrum of temperaments. From cuddly to standoffish, I am friendly and capable of caring for all kinds of your little buddies. Responsive and always on time, I'm a dependable choice if you're in need of Petcare support! I work from home with a flexible schedule, which makes it easy for me to check in on pets throughout the day. Whether you need a mid-day walk, a quick visit, or regular care while you’re away, I can usually adjust my hours to fit your routine. I care for your pets and your home just like I'd expect from someone I'm trusting with my precious pets and space. For pets in their own homes, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and environment so they feel safe and relaxed. I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs before every visit. I always double-check doors, leashes, and gates for safety and keep owners updated with notes and photos so you never have to worry while you’re away.

“Carly was amazing. She was communicative, reliable, and gave Bodie excellent care. Her check-ins were thorough and prompt and I would absolutely utilize her again. Highly recommend Carly for your pet needs!”

“I have never used a service like Rover and was somewhat hesitant. Maggie and I both met SJ and immediately felt at ease. SJ caring for Maggie was like having my best friend look after her. So happy!”

Virginia helped take care of my kitty when I was out of town and it was such a joy. I had previously had a pretty unreliable cat sitter so finding Virginia was such a relief. Virginia communicated wonderfully, followed instructions to a T and even brought in my packages that had been delivered early. Not only can I recommend Virginia endlessly, I will be rebooking without a doubt!

Amy did an incredible job taking care of my two cats. She was incredibly attentive and proactively informed me about an issue with my fire alarm, even offering a solution before it became a problem. I highly recommend her services and will definitely be hiring her again in the future.

Sami is an amazing sitter! She took care of our 2 cats over an extended vacation and her thorough updates and great communication throughout really put our mind at ease. She even got our very shy cat to come out of his shell and enjoy playtime and cuddles! Highly recommend.
