About: I want to walk your dog! I love meeting new dogs, and I also love going on long walks, short leisurely strolls, runs, and everything in between. I am responsible and dependable and understand that if Max needs to go out at 2, he is ready and waiting at 2 pm for that potty break! I love dogs and cats and have years of experience dealing with many personality types of the four-legged variety. I have grown up with dogs my whole life and am familiar with contemporary pet training techniques. Currently I don't have any pets that live with me. I miss the canine and feline companionship and I want to hang out with your dog or cat to compensate for the lack in mine! I'm currently in graduate school, and have a lot of availability for both weekend and weekday daytime, afternoon, and/or evening walks. My availability is more limited on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Safety is my number one priority. I want to make sure that your pet is comfortable and happy while in my care. I have previous experience with reactive dogs and am good at reading and respecting behavioral cues.

About: I grew up raising and taking care of dogs my entire life, both my own and those of family friends that I would house sit for, and have had a cat now for 5 years. From 2023-2024 I was a professional dog handler at the Downtown Dog Lounge and took care of all sizes, temperaments, and ages of pup every day. My responsibilities included keeping them safe during play, taking them on walks, one-on-one play, as well as administering oral medications and eye drops. I have had my cat for 5 years and learned a lot about cats and their care during that time. As a COVID kitty, he had some behavioral quirks when I began to return to work, so I have plenty of experience being around cats with separation anxiety and that are heavily food motivated. I love every pet that I come across and take care of them as my own. I have been a house-sitter many times and am comfortable taking care of anything that needs doing while you are away. I currently work a flexible part time research job at the University of Washington, so I can take care of your pet whenever is needed. I am generally available during the week for walks and pop-in visits, and a little less so on the weekends. My cat is an indoor cat due to living in an apartment currently, so I am used to spending lots of time during the day entertaining and playing with him. I am comfortable providing any service you may need for your pet, whether that be something as simple as letting them out for supervised outdoor time in a yard, or providing well-being checks for any pets that may need it during the day.

“We had Paula look after two cats - of of whom was a special needs kitten - over Christmas! She did a great job updating us and ensuring they were getting extra treats over the holidays, and was communicative about any questions. We came back to our apartment just as we left it, and to happy well fed cats.”

“Caroline watched our two cats for 2 weeks and was an absolute gem! We came back to two happy kitties and couldn’t be more happy with Caroline’s care! Thank you!”

“Kate did an excellent job walking our anxious little dog. I appreciated her messages and photos. She spent time playing fetch and giving our guys some love before she left. Great dogwalker!!!”

“Alexa was awesome! We were in a bind and she was able to help us out last minute which we were so grateful for. She sent lots of pics, very communicative and overall awesome! We look forward to her loving on our golden Taz again!”

About: I grew up mostly with cats and got my first dog in my early 20's. I can't imagine now, how I lived so long without a pup in my life. I've cared for several dogs in the years since. And they've been fully integrated in daily life, from morning walks or runs around Green Lake, trips to the grocery and other errands, to lounging on the sofa after a days work. The dogs have free range in most of the house and nap or play while I work between potty breaks. My dogs like to get out and stretch every couple hours, so I structure my days around those active breaks outside. My dogs are fully integrated companions and we do pretty much everything together. They like to get out for a walk every couple hours or so. So I structure my day around those active breaks. Typically, we'll do 1 big walk or run a day depending on how they're feeling. We also make weekly trips to Marymoor or out the mountains or coast for unstructured play time. Each dog has their own preferences. I am adaptive to the needs of the animal. We have an elderly dog and a young dog in our household. They have similar but different nutrition and activity needs that we adapt based on feedback from the animal. There are several beds around the house they can use during the day. Open access to fresh water. Regular feeding schedules. And toys to play with. We're out of the house regularly for walks but they also will ask for attention when extra is needed.

About: I'm new to Rover but not to pet care. I've owned cats and dogs almost my whole life. My family has adopted two and fostered a handful of rescue dogs from overseas shelters, which has given me valuable experience with those who may be shy, reactive, or have behavioral quirks from their past. I've provided pet-sitting and care for dogs, cats, horses, and even a bird. I'm responsible, caring, and will go above and beyond to make your pet comfortable and happy. I just graduated college and am home for the summer to study for the LSAT -- that is my only commitment, so my schedule is very flexible. Safety is my primary concern. I discuss safety measures with my clients ahead of time, and follow care instructions diligently. I keep a close eye and monitor pet behavior, providing regular updates while clients are away.

Justin K.
“I would trust Justin to care for just about any pet! He puts in the same thought and effort caring for high-energy, high-maintenance dogs that he does caring for timid and skittish cats. He has been a phenomenal caretaker to my special cat after I struggled to find a willing sitter due to some behavioral quirks and medication needs.”

“Chris was awesome and so caring with my lil' guy. I know he's got a ton of experience with multiple dogs and it shows. My pup is usually quite shy and nervous around males but he warmed up to Chris right away and is always so excited to see him. I'd never hesitate to have my dog left with Chris!”

Always confident that Lula is in good hands when Dawnula is taking care of her. We look forwarded to the photos and notes she leaves on the rover cards while we’re traveling.

Sica is great! My dog is super shy and Sica was patient and kind with her, and so sweet with our two cats. Have already booked for future trips!

Maryia is responsive, responsible, and an excellent pet sitter! She took great care of my cat 👍👍 Highly recommend

Heather's cat sit for my two old boys a few times now, in two different apartments/neighborhoods. They need daily medications, so I can't leave them solo for the weekend like when they were young. It was a handful of months since Heather last saw them, but when she came to get the key, she remembered who was who, and greeted them like old friends. She truly cares about them, and they like and trust her. She's competent at giving oral and topical medications, minor wound care, and is the kind of sitter who comes in and gives my cats the rubs and attention they want, as well as feeding/scooping litter/etc. Would definitely recommend Heather as a cat sitter.

Hilary did an amazing job watching after our cat while we were out of town! Sent pictures and detailed updates on how He was doing each visit. I would highly recommend Hilary for taking care of your pets.

Sami took such great care of my cat Hazel while I was away for a few days. She kept me updated with regular videos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. Hazel looked so relaxed and well cared for! Sami also left the place clean and tidy, which I really appreciated. Would absolutely recommend her and would book again!

Courtney went above and beyond to take care of our vet Cleo while we were gone for over a week. She was flexible, communicative, and we came back to a happy kitty :) Thank you Courtney!!

Briana was great and my cat loved her! She was timely and communicative and provided lots of cute photos. I appreciated how Briana was attentive to what my cat wanted and/or needed most during each visit.

Fabiola is a star sitter and cat whisperer! She took great care of my older cat while I was away, including helping her stay calm while administering a medication that my cat has difficulty with. Will definitely re-book in the future.

Erin is the best! I sent this request last minute and was so grateful for her saying yes. She is on top of instructions and very communicative.

Conner did a great job communicating and keeping me updated during the drop ins. Took great care of my pup!
