“Grace was flexible, communicative, and easy to work with. She took such good care of my cat, making sure he had his basic needs met and giving him lots of attention and affection. I highly recommend Grace for your pet-sitting needs!”

“This was my first time using Rover and I do not take leaving my two feline furbabies behind lightly! Nicole, above and beyond, made me feel comfortable from the get go. During our "meet the cats" visit she sat down and talked through all of the things she would do and how she would communicate. She was open and receptive to some changes I asked about and was really just embodied calm and confidence. There wasn't a moment I worried while away during my 5-day trip and I really (really!) appreciated knowing the times I could expect to hear from her every day (she came over twice a day). Will ask for her help again and in fact am going to send her a message now (meow?) !”

About: I’m a lover of all dogs and cats! I trained my husky-mix Lila from a pup to a dog in her prime and have house sat many cats. I’ve attended many advanced obedience and agility classes and would love to teach your pets these skills when out on our walks and home visits. If a friend is out of town, I’m the person they call to help with their pet. I’m a dependable, kind, pet owner who would love to befriend your fluffy loved one! I’m currently taking a break from the corporate life and have a lot of time on my hands during weekdays! Unfortunately, I’m not available most weekends, but I can make exceptions. For the first meeting, I like to meet the pet with the pet parent to get a sense of their temperament and comfort level with me. From there, we can start walks or home visits if everyone is safe and secure. I’d love to send photo updates to brighten your day!
“Brian was so wonderful with us as nervous cat parents who left copious notes and with our shy cats. He gave us detailed summaries of his visits every day and followed our instructions and requests with care. We'll absolutely be using Brian again for our next trip!”

“I have never used a service like Rover and was somewhat hesitant. Maggie and I both met SJ and immediately felt at ease. SJ caring for Maggie was like having my best friend look after her. So happy!”

About: I have been caring for pets since I was a teenager. From my animals on my parents farm to dog and cat sitting for friends and family, I have a wide range of experience with animals of all ages and energy levels. Having owned two German Short Hair Pointers, I am great with big high energy dogs. I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule. When I am not doing school work, I am usually with friends or doing something outdoors. I am very gentle and loving when it comes to animals. Being raised on a farm I learned how to interact with all kinds of animals. From angry steers to sweet ducklings to very hyper puppies, I know how to manage all kinds of critters. I am very affectionate and playful with even tempered animals, but I can also coexist peacefully with more reactive animals.
“Spencer was great with our cat, Matcha! She takes a long time to warm up to people normally, but she seemed to warm quickly to him. We will be using Spencer again in the future without a doubt!”

About: Walks are great exercise for our pets, and I'm here to help your dog have a fun, safe, and engaging time outside seeing the world. I'll take pictures and keep you updated on our adventures, and you can be sure that your pet will get plenty of exercise. Walking is one of my favorite things, and I love spending as much time as possible outside! I can walk your dog, take them to the park, or drop-in for some play-time and a check-in if that's all you need. I work from home and have fairly flexible hours, so if you need someone to drop in midday, I'm here to help. I'm experienced working with dogs who have anxiety, so if your dog is fearful, I'd be happy to chat with you about your walk preferences and helping your dog have a comfortable, stress-free time outside. I also offer house-sitting for those going out of town! I work from home, so I am flexible and can fit a walk in midday, if that's what your pup needs! I am also available in the afternoons and on weekends. Every pet's needs are different based on what they're comfortable with, so I'd like to chat with you prior to meeting about your dog's habits, needs, and any other considerations. We can chat about it! I am here to make sure that your pet has a safe and comfortable time.
“We brought in Justin to help supplement Morsel's care while away on vacation. He was punctual and very responsive. We would absolutely continue to work with Justin on future trips.”

“Carly got back to me fast, and we managed to set up a meet and greet before her first drop-in with Baloo. Good communication, and she sent a quick note with some pics of him during her visit. I’ve booked her before and will do so again.”

“I cannot recommend Carissa highly enough! After a terrible, last-minute debacle with a different sitter, we were incredibly stressed about leaving our dog, Walle. Carissa stepped in and completely saved the day. She followed our instructions perfectly, was wonderfully communicative, and showed such genuine kindness. It gave us immense peace of mind to know she was in our home providing over-the-top care while we were away. If you are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and truly cares about the animals they look after, Carissa is absolutely the person you want.”

About: Hi, I’m Constance! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with dogs, have cared for everything from cats and fish to reptiles and amphibians, and even managed a pet store. Spending time with animals genuinely makes me happy, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, snuggles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m also experienced with administering medications and caring for pets with special needs. In addition to dogs and cats, I’m happy to care for fish, and other small pets. I can help with feedings, water changes, tank maintenance, and checking water parameters. My goal is simple: to treat your pets the same way I’d want someone to treat my own with patience, attention, and lots of love. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry (or scaly!) family members! I work in healthcare, so spending time with animals is a part of my week that I truly look forward to. Caring for pets is a wonderful balance to my work, and I love getting outside for walks, playtime, or simply spending quality time with animals. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and my flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable, attentive care throughout the week. Whether your pet is energetic and adventurous or prefers a quiet companion, I enjoy making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I currently live in an apartment, therefore I don’t currently offer boarding. However at clients homes I ensure the safety of the animal first. I make sure to create a pet-friendly environment for them to feel comfortable and secure. For walks and exercise, I take advantage of nearby parks or walking paths, so pets get the outdoor time and activity they need. My care is changed and adapted depending on the animal. Wether it is a senior dog who needs a little extra time to lap the block or the high energy puppy who needs to run laps I’m happy to accommodate my walks. I make sure to follow any specific routines, provide lots of attention, and ensure they feel right at home. I’m also great at keeping things clean and organized to ensure a stress-free environment for both the pets and their owners!
“Caroline took wonderful care of our cats, Fern and Huckleberry! Even our shy cat warmed up to her quickly. She was kind, communicative, and very understanding when our plans changed last minute due to illness. We’d happily book with her again!”

“Yasmin dropped in to take care of our 2 pups while we were away. Our dogs (even our anxious shy boy) were excited to meet her during the meet & greet, and she was very responsive leading up to and during the visit.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and always felt a special love for them. Growing up, my dad was a dog sitter/ walker so I spent a lot of time helping out and getting used to dogs of all types. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to put the trust of your pet into someone else's hands, and do not take this lightly. I would like to get to know each dog individually, and hope to help you out! As a college student home for the summer, I will be able to help out as needed as my schedule is very free! I am flexible, and can help out on weekdays or weekends. As someone with a dog, I understand the imporrtance of feeling comfortable and confident in who cares for your pet. This is something that I take seriously, but also want to be a positive light in your dogs day! Each dogs needs and personalities differ and I will get to know them with this in mind.
“Mackenzie took great care of my senior kitty! It was such a relief to find someone to feed and give attention to my cat while I was out of town. I hope Mackenzie is available the next time I travel. Thank you!”

“Kathleen was absolutely fantastic with Biscuit, super attentive to his needs and played with him so much!!! She sent tons of pictures and updates! A package was even delivered to my door that wasn't mine and she took the initiative to find the correct owner and get it to her--so above and beyond! I'd recommend Kathleen to anyone looking for a sitter with attention to detail, great communication, and a great connection with animals! Thank you Kathleen!!!”

Astra was very happy and relaxed when I got home, which is always a good sign! Kimberly did a great job meeting Astra where she was and not pushing her boundaries, and was very accommodating and helpful. Her cards were great updates while I was away, and gave me great peace of mind.
