About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 10, taking care of family pets, neighbors’ pups, and friends’ dogs. Over the years, I’ve trained each dog my family has owned, and I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels—including reactive or anxious dogs. “This was my first time using Rover and I do not take leaving my two feline furbabies behind lightly! Nicole, above and beyond, made me feel comfortable from the get go. During our "meet the cats" visit she sat down and talked through all of the things she would do and how she would communicate. She was open and receptive to some changes I asked about and was really just embodied calm and confidence. There wasn't a moment I worried while away during my 5-day trip and I really (really!) appreciated knowing the times I could expect to hear from her every day (she came over twice a day). About: I’ve raised and trained 3 champion bloodline boxers from puppyhood through all life stages, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs, structured routines, big personalities, and the occasional stubborn streak :) I also cared for pets on Rover a few years back when I had more flexibility in my corporate tech life. Recently I pivoted into my own consulting work and a lower-stress lifestyle, which gave me the opportunity to reignite my passion for pets and animal care. Over the years I’ve personally used everything from kennels and daycare facilities to Rover sitters while balancing work travel, long weekends away, and conferences. A lot of this setup comes from building the kind of calm, reliable environment I always wished I had in my own rolodex of caregivers. Mabel loves having dog friends around for backyard play, neighborhood squirrel surveillance, and eventually passing out somewhere dramatic afterward. I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel stressful, so calmness, stability, communication, and transparency are the environment I’m trying to build for both pets and parents. Pet care fits pretty naturally into my daily routine. Dogs here get lots of attention, outdoor time, backyard breaks, play, naps, and relaxed company throughout the day instead of being left alone for long stretches. I’ve almost always had multiple dogs, so different personalities, energy levels, and routines feel pretty normal to me at this point. I do occasionally step out briefly for errands or appointments, so dogs staying here should be comfortable with short periods alone when needed (generally around 30 minutes to 1 hour max). Weekends around here are usually pretty relaxed — backyard time, toy play, projects around the house, and eventually everybody crashing somewhere around the dog suite afterward. I keep things calm, structured, and low-volume both in my home and when caring for pets in a client’s home. At home, I have a fully fenced backyard with direct outdoor access, high-drainage pet turf, and pavers to help keep things clean, safe, and low-mud. Dogs get supervised outdoor time, backyard play, potty breaks, naps, toy play, and their own clean crate setup for downtime when needed. I pay close attention to introductions, body language, energy levels, and overall group compatibility instead of just throwing dogs together and hoping for the best. I currently cap: - daycare at 3 dogs - boarding at 2 dogs For drop-ins and walks, I’m very respectful of people’s homes, routines, and instructions. I’m a homeowner myself, so I take trust, communication, home access, and safety very seriously. My overall approach is attentive, communicative, and low-chaos for both pets and owners.

About: As a kid, I was obsessed with animals. I watched Animal Planet nightly, and truly believed that when I grew up I would simultaneously be a zoologist, veterinarian, AND own my own animal shelter. Even though I didn't quite live up to little me's standards, I have been lucky enough to gain years of experience caring for all types of pets for friends, roommates, neighbors, family, and clients. I grew up with Rowan, a vizsla, who was a lovable and sometimes needy dog companion. I continued to gain experience taking care of cats, rodents, and dogs, young and old, large and small. I am now the happy dog parent to my own dog, a retired racing greyhound. * I no longer work with dogs exhibiting reavtivity, resource guarding, or any aggressive tendencies.* Through my experience dog sitting and adjusting a rescue dog to my household, I have gained opportunities to learn and navigate behavioral issues like resource guarding, separation anxiety, and leash reactivity. I have taken care of puppies with lots of energy, shy dogs, as well as older dogs who require assistance with medication or mobility (going up and down stairs, etc). I am a relaxed and outgoing person, who loves to hike, travel, and spend time with animals. I am responsible, timely, and communicative, and I look forward to meeting and taking care of your furry best friend! We'll have a great time :) Hope to hear from you soon! About: Whether your pet needs an high energy walk or a calm comforting presence while you’re away, I treat every animal with the absolute highest level of respect, love, and attention. I currently work part time from home! So my availability is extremely open and flexible any time after 8 am! The weekends are open early in the morning to early evening. I have two cats in my apartment and they have plenty of space. I spoil my cats with attention and treats. They also like to go outside on my balcony and I safely monitor them while they're out there.
