About: I’ve always loved cats and dogs! I have experience caring for both cats and dogs through fostering and pet sitting. I’m only offering dog walking services though, because I have a kitty who is not a fan of other fur friends. I am open to walk your pup within the Ballard area. Please contact me with any questions! About: I’ve always loved dogs for as long as I can remember. And I have a 2 year old golden retriever, named Honey, and raising him from a puppy to now has been the most rewarding experience. He loves to make new friends!! We live in a spacious 1 bedroom apartment with a large park just 1 block away. We go on 4-5 walks per day and we’d love to have your pup join us! I am currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible during the week. And on the weekends, I can make myself available as well for walks, play time drop ins, boarding, etc. I can guarantee your pet will receive so much care and attention. About this sitter: Currently offering drop ins (cats and dogs) and dog walks! I have ample availability during the week and would love to hang out with your pet. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs since I was a knee-high. I picked out my first loveable mutt, a German Shepherd, Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix, when I was in 6th grade. Since then I have always had a four-legged friend of my own. Meet my pets: James and Greta the miniature schnauzers About my yard Have a fenced front and back yard and I'm able to take your pup outdoors for a walk around the block as often as he/she needs. My experience administering medication Yes, I have had to administer medication to many pets, though I do not have experience with injections. I work full time remotely, and your dog will join me and my puppy on our daily walks and play time in the yard. We love hiking on weekends as well so if they like that let me know! Otherwise we can find other fun things to do. Also big fan of breweries on the weekend so also let me know if you or your dog aren’t comfortable with that many people around, etc. I have a fenced front and back yard and a puppy if my own. Frequent walks and play time. My puppy loves to play a lot so if your dog is high energy that is awesome.

About: I’ve had cats my whole adult life — three over the years, including Sid, a big black cat who moved with me across three states. I’m equally comfortable with dogs, at every size: I’ve petsat a Great Dane mix, a pit bull mix, and a Shih Tzu. I’ve looked after friends’ dogs more than a dozen times. I’ve also completed housesits through TrustedHousesitters and cared for family homes and pets, including a longer stay at my in-laws’ place. I’m comfortable giving medication, and I’m strict about routine — meals, meds, and walks happen when they’re supposed to. I love to cuddle up to give affection and I love a proper brushing session. My husband loves to train and to instigate play session. You’ll get photo updates without having to ask, and your home left the way I found it. Friday through Sunday I’m home, so we can accommodate any care requirements your pet has! Monday through Thursday I’m in the office. My husband is often home during the day, but he travels some weeks, so when it’s just me your pet needs to be comfortable alone for about six hours. Either way they’ll have full attention mornings, evenings, and overnight. I always know our schedules in advance and only confirm bookings where we can genuinely cover what your pet needs. We have a house in Ballard in a three-story build, tall and narrow the way most homes here are. That shapes what we can offer, so it’s worth describing. There’s no yard, so dogs go out on leash for walks and potty breaks, and there are stairs throughout. None of it is a safety risk, we can easily block stairs when required. But your pet will encounter some, so smaller dogs who’d rather be carried should be a size we can lift comfortably. We’re happy to do whatever makes them feel settled. And we don’t have pets of our own, so yours has the house and our attention to themselves.
