“Van did a great job with our high energy boy, Tuki! She followed instructions very well, was respectful of our home, and sent lots of photos and updates. Will absolutely book again!”

“Can’t say enough good things about Justin… communication was great, he was thoughtful about logistics and flexible as we figured out key hand off and meeting our two dogs. I’m certain the house was cleaner than we left it for him. After a long, long travel day it was wonderful to come home to a clean house and two happy dogs. Thank you so much Justin!!”

“Myranda did an amazing job watching Sunny. We got updates on how he was doing and when we came home we could see how happy and relaxed he was. We know he was really well looked after. And Myranda did a great job keeping our house in order. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely book with her again next time we travel. Thank you Myranda!”

“Davied is starting to feel like family. Our dogs adore him and we do too. I love his updates and videos, and he handles mishaps with grace and flexibility. I see why he is a Rover star ⭐️ .”

“Yasmin was great with our 8 month old puppy while we went out of town and was super communicative throughout! Would definitely recommend her to anyone!”

“Amanda was just fantastic! She took care of my dog (Coton de Tuléar), cat (Balinese) and plants for a weekend, and did everything I asked so beautifully. My pets warmed up with her very quickly, which shows her kind and loving personality. Also, I was very impressed to see how clean the house was. I will definitely ask her again.”

“Meagan did a wonderful job house sitting for Teddy. We came home to a tidy house and a happy dog. She was very attentive to him, provided thorough updates, and was very mindful of his needs as an elderly pup.”

“Rachael was absolutely amazing with our cat and dog during our two-week trip. From the very beginning, we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such capable and caring hands. She provided exceptional care and truly treated our girls like her own. Rachael kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which made being away so much easier! We could see how happy, comfortable, and well cared for they were. When we returned home, we could immediately tell the difference - our cat was noticeably happier and far less standoffish than she usually is after we have been away :). That alone speaks volumes about the bond Rachael built with them and the level of care she provided. On top of that, our house was left clean, which was such a thoughtful touch after traveling. We cannot recommend Rachael highly enough and will absolutely be booking with her again. She is truly a gem of a pet sitter!”

“We had a great experience with Emma! She stayed at our house and took excellent care of our dog, who can be reactive toward other dogs and has some unique behaviors. She was patient, understanding, and really worked with him to make sure he felt comfortable and well cared for. Flyn got plenty of long walks, and we received frequent updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Communication was clear and consistent throughout and she left the house as clean as we left it. Highly recommend using Emma as a rover sitter!”

“Jeff has stayed over with our two pups multiple times now, and he’s consistently a 10/10 dog sitter! Our dogs now get excited when we tell them Jeff is coming over! He kept us updated with cute photos and videos, and our house was very clean when we arrived home. I really appreciate having a trustworthy person caring for my fur kids while I’m away. Thank you, Jeff!”

“Julie was wonderful with our cat Snacks, sent us action photos and great communication on how he was doing. Would absolutely call on her again to watch our munchkin. Thanks Julie!”

“Melissa was excellent! Took great care of all my critters (1 dog 2 kitties) and sent daily updates. Super easy to work with and everyone was happy and healthy when we got home!”

“Paula was incredible with our senior cat and special needs kitty. She was able to provide them the care they needed while giving us regular updates and peace of mind. I’ll definitely be booking with Paula again.”

“Katya was great! She sent lots of pictures of Nico throughout her stay and was very communicative. She left our place clean and organized. I would highly recommend Katya to anyone looking for someone to house sit their beloved pets.”

“This was the first time Lucky had anyone other than a close friend or family member stay at the house with him. Jason did a great job of introducing himself through his meet and greet. Several days before his stay, he came by to get the key and played more with Lucky for familiarity. Kept me apprised daily how things were going including photos. Very friendly individual. Would strongly recommend Jason!”

“Stacey is amazing and I am happy to have found her! She cared for our two big dogs and cat while we were out of town. We returned home to content pets and a clean home (the latter of which was a bonus). I really appreciated the updates and videos while we were away and the feeling our fur family was in good hands.”

“Elle took such great care of our two dogs, cat, and house! She came through with last-minute pet-sitting and we feel so lucky to have found Elle! She sent regular updates with photos and videos, kept our pets safe and happy, and left our house in immaculate condition (probably cleaner than when she arrived). She cared for our dog who has separation anxiety and took extra steps to ensure he was happy. She also played with our active cat to keep him happy.”

Crown Hill pet parents share their Rover experiences
SJ exceeded all expectations! Her communication was stellar and the amount of care was extraordinary for our senior pup that requires a bit of extra TLC. She provided regular photo and video updates, administered medication and even left our house spotless before leaving. SJ is a true gem and we are so grateful we found her.

Mandi is amazing. She took wonderful care of my shy cat as well as my house! With other sitters my indoor/outdoor cat would stay outside a lot but my cat was super comfy with Mandi and clocked in her daily nap-intensive schedule inside. The house was in great shape upon our return - tidy and in good order. Mandi was a great communicator and sent pics & updates daily. Highly recommend.

Ami-Lee was an amazing house and pet sitter! She gave daily updates and pictures and was very responsive with messaging. She graciously solved problems as they arose (chirping smoke detector😳) and left our house clean and pup happy! We would invite her back to house-sit in a heartbeat.

Rachel is an actual angel and a consummate professional, and deserves more than five stars. Our cat Amira is challenging, to say the least - she has diabetes, asthma, hyperthyroidism, and pancreatitis, and requires multiple medications every twelve hours, including insulin injections and an inhaler. She also needs her blood glucose monitored pretty closely because of the complex nature of pancreatogenic diabetes. As if that wasn't enough, she's an intelligent, temperamental cat who can be very difficult to medicate. (Sometimes I think the shelter made a mistake and let us go home with a panther instead of a housecat.) We normally don't travel much, because it is so hard to find adequate care for a cat who is both fragile in health and willful in personality. In our previous city, we did eventually find a great pet sitter who was able to meet Amira's needs and enabled us to travel a little more. With that in mind, we planned a week-long elopement/honeymoon in Hawaii. Then we moved to a new state.. and had about two months to find a new pet sitter to care for our complicated cat during one of the longest and most crucial trips of our lives. We talked to at least a dozen different pet sitters, but Rachel was immediately a standout. It was clear from the start that she knows cats inside and out, and we are so grateful to have found her. While we were gone, she truly treated Amira as though she were her own cat. She quickly picked up on the nuances of Amira's personality, and was extremely attentive to her health and well-being. Pretty quickly into Rachel's stay with Amira, we collectively discovered that Amira is very resistant to letting anyone other than her parents do blood glucose tests with an AlphaTrak glucometer. That meant that the only way to monitor her blood glucose would be to have a CGM applied. Rachel got the CGM application appointment scheduled on her own, took Amira to the vet, figured out the CGM setup on her phone, and basically handled the whole thing super smoothly and calmly, without needing any hand-holding from us (which was very appreciated, since this happened to unfold on the day before and day of our wedding). This was pretty much the trend throughout the stay - Rachel proved herself to be a great communicator, highly knowledgeable about feline medical care, and outstanding at solving problems independently. She took the cutest photos of Amira, and it was clear that in spite of the difficulties at medication time, Amira still liked Rachel a lot and felt comfortable with her. We came home to a nice clean house and a well-cared-for kitty. We really hope to hire Rachel again in the future, I can't imagine anyone better suited to pet sit our panther!

Jess was absolutely amazing! She stayed at our home for 10 nights to watch Max, and also came back for two additional drop-in visits after — and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provided. From the start, Jess went above and beyond. She kept us consistently updated with messages and photos, took Max on plenty of walks, and made sure he was happy, active, and well cared for the entire time. Max is older and needs a bit more unique attention and care, and Jess handled that perfectly, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She also left our home cleaner than we left it, which honestly blew us away. She even took the time to water our plants — truly going above and beyond in every way. On top of that, she went the extra mile in such a thoughtful way — she helped organize a balloon/gift surprise for my brother’s 40th birthday while he was heading home early. Totally unexpected and incredibly kind. Jess is reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares. We would 100% trust her again with Max and our home. Highly recommend!
