About: Had dogs primarily since I was a child, spent most of my life raising large dogs and spending occasional time with Cats. Very active and love to walk/hang out with any and all fur babies. I am taking a break from my regular full time career (Bartending/Restaurant Management) to spend more time pursuing art and music, and would love to have an income source that is both fulfilling and schedule flexible. I believe in relationship building with any pet I spend time with: every dog or cat is different and has different needs/quirks that require a different approach; mine always starts with trying to establish trust and a playful/happy rapport with the pet so they know I can be trusted and respected when I’m in their space, and vice versa. My apartment in particular that I share with my girlfriend is rather small, so I will mostly be taking jobs that are in clients’ homes or are just check ins/walks. However on a case by case basis I could possibly accept boarding, we don’t currently have a pet and are entertaining the idea, so a bit of in home practice could be welcome.

I’ll care for your pup with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own Corgi, and always keep you updated.

About: Hi! I’m a friendly and reliable dog lover living in Ballard! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so I love being around them and have plenty of experience looking after them, including senior and special needs dogs. I have a great understanding of what dogs need and will always ensure that they are happy, safe and well cared for! I offer dog walking and drop-in visits. I’m very comfortable caring for dogs of all kinds, big or small, and all personalities. I’m at my happiest when cuddling or walking dogs, so I would love the chance to take care of yours. Your property will always be locked and secured when I leave. 🧼 Clean & Mindful: I leave your space exactly as I found it. Paws get wiped on rainy days, mess items are cleaned up, and dirty food/water bowls are washed after every visit. 2. Safety Practices & Walk Rules Because I handle my own reactive senior dog daily, safety on walks is second nature to me: 🦮 Equipment Checks: Before stepping foot outside, I double-check that leashes, collars, and harnesses are properly fitted and securely latched. I use fixed 6-foot leashes (no retractable leashes) for maximum control and safety. 🛑 Strict "Zero-Greeting" Policy: I never allow on-leash greetings with unfamiliar dogs or strangers. I constantly scan the environment for triggers, cross streets early, and give your dog a low-stress, quiet walk. 💧 Weather & Hydration Aware: I monitor pavement temperatures in hot weather and always carry fresh water during outdoor visits. 3. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs all of my adult life - from nurturing my own fluff balls to taking care of my friends’, I’ve got you covered! I understand that each of them have their own personalities, preferences and quirks, and will work with you to make sure that they’re well taken care of while you’re away! I’m currently working remotely (east coast hours) in a laid back job, which gives me a lot of flexibility to take care of your pets. I also get done at 2pm everyday, giving me a lot of time in the evenings. Not offering stays in my apartment currently (so that both my pets and yours are safe!) Whether I’m caring for pets at my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. At home, I maintain a clean, pet-safe environment with plenty of enrichment and calm spaces for rest. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep doors securely closed, and double-check food, litter, and meds to avoid any mix-ups.
