“Sabrina is so great with our dog. She clearly cares about her and is very communicative and reliable with us. We appreciate her notes and her flexibility too!”

“Elizabeth is the BEST! My dog Baloo had the pleasure of getting re-acquainted with her last week and loved his walks with her. She always sends pictures of his adventures and a note after each walk, which is so nice for us when we have to be away from him. Thanks Elizabeth from Beth and Baloo”

“Taylor was fantastic with my older dog. He had recently had surgery and required a few extra safety instructions and care. She was great with using a sling and giving medications. She is very quick to respond to messages and requests. Would definitely trust her to take care of my pup again.”

“Stephanie is great! She's very calm and collected and you can tell right away she has a lot of valuable experience with dogs. After their first walk, I can already tell my dog Louie is in love with her!!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood, and learned to care for many different types of dogs early on in life. While completing my undergrad I spent 3 years as a live-in caretaker for someone with a dog, 2 cats, and a parrot (cockatoo). I have also spent 3 months caring for a service dog, however other than those 3 months I lack much experience in that field. I'm about to start my masters degree at UW, where i'll be studying music performance. This means there will probably be times everyday where I will need to be out & about. I will have a better idea about schedule flexibility once we get closer to semester start! Once I have the info I need I will edit this section accordingly :) I have worked with animals of many behavioral styles and daily routines, and happy to provide whatever specific care your pet needs. I always keep a positive & engaging attitude - treats are present but definitely kept at a minimum ;) It can be an unsettling time for your pet when their people(s) need to leave for a bit, so it's important that they know that someones there for them until you return!
“Rhea helped take care of Tusker on short notice. It's clear that Rhea can read dogs well and cares about their well-being. Rhea provided detailed updated, which helped my separation anxiety!”

About: Pets have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Dogs, cats, big and small, they have genuinely brought so much fullness and joy to my life, and I truly cannot imagine it without them. I have plenty of hands-on experience walking and caring for large dogs, as well as small and medium breeds, so no pup is too big or too energetic for me! I'm also very comfortable with cats. I have one of my own at home who I adore. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a cozy cuddle session, or just someone to check in and make sure they're doing well, I treat every animal like my own. When you book with me, you're not just hiring a sitter. You're trusting a genuine animal lover who will pour the same care and attention into your pet as I do my own. Pet care fits seamlessly into my weekly routine. I am available part-time during weekdays and structure my schedule to make sure every pet in my care gets the time and attention they deserve. I work and study alongside my pet care commitments, so I am always mindful of planning walks, visits, and check-ins around a consistent and reliable routine. I believe animals thrive on predictability, so I make it a priority to show up on time, every time. Whether it is a midday walk or a drop-in visit, you can count on me to be there when I say I will. When it comes to the safety and wellbeing of your pet, I take every detail seriously. Since I provide care in your home, your pet gets to stay in the environment they already know and love, which means less stress and more comfort for them. While in your home, I make sure to maintain a calm and quiet atmosphere, keep a close eye on any potential hazards, and ensure that any interactions with other animals are supervised and handled with care. Every pet has their own personality and boundaries, and I always take the time to respect that. I also believe that open communication is key to building trust with pet owners. Whether you want daily photos and videos, regular check-ins, or just a message if something comes up, I am happy to keep you as informed and involved as you would like. Your peace of mind matters just as much to me as your pet's happiness
“Grace is very communicative and our young puppy was left happy. You can tell she's helped in training dogs in the past. We hope to use Grace again in the future!”

“Deanna was great with Zuke on his walk and patient with his puppy needs! She was communicative and sent some great pics! I felt better at work knowing Zuke was in her care. Will definitely book a walk with Deanna again!”

“Katie was great! She arrived on time and was great with communicating. She included pictures of the walk and gave detail about her visit. Will ask Katie to walk my dogs again. Thanks so much! Highly recommend!”

About: Experienced Care for All the Dogs :-) I’ve spent more than 15 years working with and training horses and dogs, including raising and training my own dogs from puppyhood. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, structured, and relationship-based approach that helps animals feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I’m happy to help with both ongoing routines and occasional support when schedules get busy, travel comes up, or your dog simply needs an extra walk or check-in. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I care deeply about creating a positive experience for both pets and their people. I’d love to meet you and your dog to see if we’re a good fit. I currently work from home, stepping out to walk my dog or to run errands. I also take Hank to the dog park every morning from 9 - 10am, as it's a stone's throw away. Once I get to know your dog and with your permission, dog park visits may be an option. Because of my experience, I’m often able to quickly assess a dog’s comfort level, energy, communication style, and individual needs - whether they need more structure, more patience, a slower introduction, reassurance, or simply space to settle in. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and adapting my approach to help them feel secure and successful. For boarding and in-home care, I prefer a quieter, lower-volume environment where dogs can receive more personalized attention. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medication needs, exercise levels, and behavioral cues to help dogs feel as comfortable and settled as possible. You can expect: • dependable and professional communication • regular updates and photos • close attention to your dog’s routines and needs • thoughtful, individualized care I’m especially comfortable with: • anxious or sensitive dogs • senior dogs (who are mobile - I'm in a townhouse) • high-energy dogs who benefit from structure • puppies and younger dogs learning routines • dogs who need patience, consistency, and calm handling My approach is calm, attentive, and grounded in trust and consistency. I understand how important routines, communication, and environment are for animals, and I strive to create a positive, low-stress experience while they’re in my care. I offer: • dog walking • one-off or occasional walks • repeat weekly walks • drop-in visits • overnight boarding in my home • daytime companionship and care
“Lisa is so great with my Lucy dog! Lucy does best with calm, confident, experienced care takers and Lisa fits the bill. Lisa is not at all phased by Lucy’s strong personality and occasional reactivity. When she comes to the house for a walk, Lucy does her “Lisa dance” and is clearly so excited! I’m very lucky to have found Lisa and cannot recommend her enough.”

About: I grew up in a house that always had cats and a few dogs. I became addicted to the love, laughs, and mischief they bring, and I have always had a knack for earning the trust of shy and timid animals. Currently, have a sweet and shy, toothless and ruthless senior rescue cat that is my whole world. When I adopted her I spend a month reading Harry Potter allowed to her while she hid under the bed until I gained her trust, love, and devotion. We’ve been a bonded pair ever since. I also am lucky enough to have two fur-nephews (Rosco and Lewis Jr.) that are fully loaded baked potato dogs and I am lucky enough to get to love and care for them on a regular basis. I know how hard it can be to leave your furry little friend for any amount of time, and I would love to be a person you can rely on to show your fur babies love and patience while you’re away. I’m currently entering my first year of graduate school. During the week I am occupied with classes in the morning, and some days stretching into the late afternoon. Most days I am done by 3pm, others I’m done closer to noon. If you’re able to accommodate any flexibility and if afternoon/late afternoon drop ins are within your comfort zone i think I would be a good fit for your needs. My main goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very detail oriented and great at taking direction, so as long as I’m provided with specifications of your animal’s needs (ie. feeding and bathroom habits, favorite toys/treats/activities, as well as transparency about any reactivity triggers) you can rest assured I’m going to give your pet the love, patience, and attention it needs and deserves.
“Paula was super responsive and showed up promptly for her walks with Brandy. We got very detailed cards after each walk and Brandy was a happy pup when we got home. We’ve already booked Paula for future walks and dog sitting!”

“Mira walked my pup Peanut who can be a rascal on the leash and did a great job. Also super accommodating with some issues on getting into the building which was much appreciated! 100% would book again!”

Sunset Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
We cannot recommend Grace highly enough. From the very beginning, she exceeded our expectations in the care she provided for our dog, Maggie. In addition to offering exceptional care, Grace was instrumental in helping us address Maggie’s training needs and anxiety. She took the time to understand Maggie’s unique personality, provided thoughtful guidance, and shared practical strategies that helped Maggie become more comfortable and confident when left home alone. The progress we saw was truly remarkable. What impressed us most was the genuine bond Grace developed with Maggie. Every time Maggie saw her, she would light up with excitement—wagging her tail, wiggling with happiness, and eagerly anticipating their time together. As pet owners, there is no greater reassurance than knowing your dog feels safe, happy, and loved in someone else’s care. Grace’s dedication goes far beyond day-to-day pet sitting. She is deeply invested in the well-being of the dogs she works with and consistently demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and expertise. Thanks to her influence, Maggie is happier, more confident, and better behaved. We are incredibly grateful for everything Grace has done and would wholeheartedly trust her with Maggie again.
