“Sabrina was so so great! We were able to set up a meet & greet beforehand where she got to know my pup. And she was extremely communicative during my pup’s walk and made sure to go above and beyond to mark sure he was comfortable. I got many photos and will definitely be reaching out to book again :)”

“Alex has been walking my dog, Oliver, occasionally for a few years now and she has always been great, but she has been a real life saver in the last few weeks. I fractured my leg a few weeks ago and ended up on crutches full time - Alex has been working with me since to make sure that Oliver gets his exercise while I rest and heal. Oliver absolutely loves her and is so happy when she arrives. I would give her 6 stars if I could!”
“Elizabeth was wonderful! I recently had surgery (and realized after I got home from the hospital, there was no way I could walk my dog during the recovery period.) I used Rover for the first time and hired Elizabeth for the first week of my recovery (and then rehired her to help the second week.) Elizabeth arrived on time, had great energy, and helped us during a time of need. We will hire her again. I was very pleased with this service and will recommend Elizabeth and Rover to others.”

“Stacey is super communicative and kind, and great with our extra-sniffy Lab. We just moved to the area and are so happy to have someone great in the area we can rely on!”

“Mira walked my pup Peanut who can be a rascal on the leash and did a great job. Also super accommodating with some issues on getting into the building which was much appreciated! 100% would book again!”

About: Had dogs primarily since I was a child, spent most of my life raising large dogs and spending occasional time with Cats. Very active and love to walk/hang out with any and all fur babies. I am taking a break from my regular full time career (Bartending/Restaurant Management) to spend more time pursuing art and music, and would love to have an income source that is both fulfilling and schedule flexible. I believe in relationship building with any pet I spend time with: every dog or cat is different and has different needs/quirks that require a different approach; mine always starts with trying to establish trust and a playful/happy rapport with the pet so they know I can be trusted and respected when I’m in their space, and vice versa. My apartment in particular that I share with my girlfriend is rather small, so I will mostly be taking jobs that are in clients’ homes or are just check ins/walks. However on a case by case basis I could possibly accept boarding, we don’t currently have a pet and are entertaining the idea, so a bit of in home practice could be welcome.
About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood, and learned to care for many different types of dogs early on in life. While completing my undergrad I spent 3 years as a live-in caretaker for someone with a dog, 2 cats, and a parrot (cockatoo). I have also spent 3 months caring for a service dog, however other than those 3 months I lack much experience in that field. I'm about to start my masters degree at UW, where i'll be studying music performance. This means there will probably be times everyday where I will need to be out & about. I will have a better idea about schedule flexibility once we get closer to semester start! Once I have the info I need I will edit this section accordingly :) I have worked with animals of many behavioral styles and daily routines, and happy to provide whatever specific care your pet needs. I always keep a positive & engaging attitude - treats are present but definitely kept at a minimum ;) It can be an unsettling time for your pet when their people(s) need to leave for a bit, so it's important that they know that someones there for them until you return!
About: i have loved animals ever since i was a kid and have had cats my whole life. Before i got my current dog i always wanted to watch my friends and families dogs. i have been officially watching dogs and cats for two years now and have met so many amazing cuties! i love the dog park and will take your pups without a doubt! i’m currently a freshman and western washington university with only 2 classes a day so every weekday (especially my evenings) should be open for walks and stop bye. if more is needed i can make room in my schedule! if you have a yard i will always keep watch if i am letting the dog out and keep a good eye on walks as well. i care for these pets as much as myself and want them to feel comfortable in my presence.
“Taylor was absolutely amazing with Rae! Reliable, friendly, and went out of her way to make Rae feel comfortable. I so appreciate all love and care for my pup while I was out of town!”

“Rhea helped take care of Tusker on short notice. It's clear that Rhea can read dogs well and cares about their well-being. Rhea provided detailed updated, which helped my separation anxiety!”

“Alana is awesome! She took my two dogs out for walks while I was out of town. I have a boarder collie mix that can be leash aggressive and she handled him professionally (her dog has it also). I'd 100% recommended her!”

“Very communicative and responsible; takes the time to make sure my pup gets in a great walk, all her things are put back, and water bowl is refilled (important with this heat!) - happy to have Ben as our walker!”

“Katie was great! She arrived on time and was great with communicating. She included pictures of the walk and gave detail about her visit. Will ask Katie to walk my dogs again. Thanks so much! Highly recommend!”

“Paula was super responsive and showed up promptly for her walks with Brandy. We got very detailed cards after each walk and Brandy was a happy pup when we got home. We’ve already booked Paula for future walks and dog sitting!”

“Deanna is very sweet, punctual, communicative and not to forget: really good with dogs! To say Odin loves her is an understatement. The walk ended about 20 minutes ago and he is still staring at the door, hoping that she will come back :). I will absolutely book her more regularly.”

About: I have over 20 years of experience working with animals personally and professionally. I worked professionally at the Tulsa Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from 2005-2008 and became the manager of puppy care. Upon returning to Seattle, I volunteered for PAWS Animal Shelter providing foster care for bottle feeding kittens and litters too young or sick to reside in the shelter. My former pets include three rescue cats (one with special needs), and one rescue dog. I currently have a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier / American Bulldog that I also rescued from PAWS Animal Shelter about a year ago. We love going for walks and hikes together, and visiting Sniffspots around the Seattle area. I love caring for animals and will treat your animals like I treat my own. I currently reside in Ballard and work from home. My work schedule is flexibleal which makes last minute walks and drop-ins easy for me. I have recently reopened my Rover account and hope to get some new clients over the summer months! I work a flexible, part time schedule from home. Both my flexible work hours and the fact that I work from home make both regular and last minute walks and drop-in visits easy for me to do in Ballard and surrounding areas. I always offer free meet and greets either around the neighborhood or in your home to make sure that I am a good for for both you and your pet. When I come to your home for drop-in visits, your animal(s) will be my one and only focus. I am highly respectful of privacy and understand that having a new person in your home can feel vulnerable, especially at first.
“Dylan is a fantastic dog walker. He was so patient with my Pumpkin. He was able to accommodate my very unexpected need for a dog walker. Pumpkin and I are grateful for Dylan's kindness! We would definitely rebook with him.”

Rylie was so lovely to work with! Super responsive and trustworthy, we had her come to our house while we were out of town to walk Sunny and she did a lovely job. She took Sunny on epic walks and made us feel like our girl was well taken care of. Will gladly work with her again!

Cece is a gem! I think Oliver had the best walk of his life with her. She came exactly on time, spent such good time with him, let him meet neighbors (he's a bit of a local celebrity), and sent amazing photos. His absolute joy was so obvious. Thank you, Cece! We can't wait to have you walk Oliver again.

Katie is awesome!!! I haven’t used Rover much and was a bit hesitant but needed to get my girls out while I had an unexpected shift. She was prompt with accepting the request, great with my babies, and sent pictures so I could see them while I’m at work. Thank you, Katie!

My dog can be picky with dogwalkers, but loves Caitlin, which I think is all you need in a review! She's communicative, flexible with time, and I appreciate that she made the effort to do a meet and greet prior to the actual walks. She's definitely at the top of our list for petcare moving forward.

As someone who typically works from home, I was incredibly anxious about having to leave my 2-year-old, 85-pound pup, Colin, for the first time while I was away. Finding Edith completely changed everything and gave me total peace of mind. From the very beginning, she was a true professional. She came over for a complimentary meet-and-greet to get to know Colin before our schedule started, and she asked all the right questions to make sure she understood his routine and quirks. Colin is a giant ball of pure energy, but Edith was absolutely amazing with his size and pace. She was so attentive that during a walk, she even noticed when Colin got super excited and immediately recognized that they were passing his best friend’s house! Edith was incredibly reliable, always on time, and great about sending updates when she was on her way. She left the house exactly as she found it, always making sure Colin’s water bowl was topped off and rewarding him with a treat after his walks. Having a walker like Edith made a stressful week feel completely effortless. She is the absolute best, and I hope to use her again and again and again. If you need someone trustworthy, attentive, and great with high-energy dogs, hire Edith!

Eleni did a great job jumping in to help us with a puppy walk and play last minute! Our puppy got the exercise and snuggles she needed. She was a happy puppy when we got home. Eleni asked thoughtful questions, was responsive to messages, and was a clear, responsive communicator! We look forward to working with her again another time!
