“Sofia has been a perfect fit for us and our dog. She was easy to communicate with and flexible in scheduling. We really enjoyed working with her and was happy to see photo and video updates throughout her time caring for our dog. Looking forward to seeing her again soon and so is Winston!”

“Although my 6-year-old miniature dachshund, Piper, has stayed with friends/family before, this was my first time using a professional service like Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Maria was exceptionally responsive and flexible with timing. She sent plenty of photos/videos/updates during our short weekend trip that truly set our minds at ease. Piper has cerebellar hypoplasia (the wobbly disease) and has trouble with fine motor skills. Maria had no issue altering her care to suit Piper's limitations. She even took Piper out to a cafe in a stroller for enrichment since she physically can't walk far on her own! Considering my partner has experience petsitting for over two decades and I worry (perhaps too much) about the care my dog will receive while I'm away, we were both impressed with Maria and would gladly hire her again to take care of Piper.”

“Our Mini Schnauzer Carl had a wonderful time again with Jessica and Mochi. We receive multiple updates and photos per day. Carl got lots of walks and play time. Timeliness and detail of communication is always perfect. Thanks so much!”

“My dog had a great stay with Diane and Hank. Diane was communicative and provided regular updates with photos. My dog looked like she had a lot of fun during the stay and she was well taken care of. I’d recommend Diane to others and I’ll be using her again in the future!”

“What a kind and generous family! This was Winston's first stay with Amanda and Noah. I was glad he was staying with a family who owned and know Frenchies as they have their specific needs and energy level. Amanda had shared about her previous Frenchie who passed a couple of months ago and said it was wonderful to have Winston spend some time with them now, especially with their children and dog. Winston had some of his classic GI challenges in a new environment and I received detailed information each day. He received lots of cuddles and love. I was not at all worried leaving him with Amanda. She also shared some tips on food choices and nutrition from her previous experience as a Frenchie owner. Winston came home clean, relaxed, happy and well. I definitely will request Amanda and Noah to take care of Winston in the future. Great find!”

“Gabby was easy to communicate with, gave great photo updates and was a pleasure to work with. Her and her husband were super kind. I will 100% be leaving my pup with her again!”

“Juniper had another great stay with Matt! Matt made sure Juniper was getting enough exercise and rest. He took her to the park every day and sent us cute videos and updates. Matt was very understanding to her puppy needs and made sure she wasn’t getting overstimulated. Juniper loves hanging out with Matt and Larry!”

“Tiffany was a wonderful host for our pup! Couldn’t recommend her enough. She sent lots of pictures while we were gone and was a great communicator. We’re so glad to have found someone like her we can trust to take amazing care for our fur baby!”

“Vadzim was great with my sweet girl Lucy. He sent lots of photos, and was very communicative. My pup is very clingy and requires lots of cuddles and I feel very confident that she got that while I was away. Would highly recommend!”

“I highly recommend Laure & Matthew! Their house is on a quiet street with a big backyard and I received pictures and updates daily. My dog, Gracie, is a rescue with a few issues - she has 3 legs, is food obsessive, has a high prey drive for squirrels, and doesn’t like to walk on wood floors (lol). They worked with all of her quirks and I knew she was well taken care of. In the future, I will rebook with Laure/Matthew to watch Gracie anytime I’m out of town - I’ve already rebooked for next weekend!”

“Jill is such an angel and my dog absolutely loves her. She even made him a custom sweater when the groomer cut my babies hair too short. My Leo loves her so much and enjoys being in her company. He jumps on her the moment he sees her.”

About: Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with all kinds of dogs: farm dogs, little dogs, a Great Dane in a studio apartment, and now our Mini Australian Shepherd. We have learned and refined our dog ownership skills over time, finally investing in professional training for both our dog and ourselves in 2025. That experience shaped the kind of care I offer today. I believe dogs thrive with clear structure, consistency, and calm communication. I strive to provide the kind of boarding experience I wish I could find for my own dog, where training, routines, and boundaries are respected while you're away. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, daily walks, and a very friendly Mini Australian Shepherd who enjoys canine company. Your dog won't be left alone for a typical workday. I do leave the house for school drop-offs and pick-ups, errands, or weekend activities. Dogs should be comfortable being alone for a few hours. Because I have both a young child and my own dog, I only accept dogs that: -Are friendly with children and other dogs. -Are up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. -Can comfortably settle into a family home.
“Emily is the dog whisperer! My senior dog who dislikes most people thrived in her care. I felt she was well taken care of and had limited to no anxiety because of it!”

“We’ve booked Ponyo multiple times for our two dogs. She’s great! Our dogs love her and we can trust that they are in good hands. She updated us daily, gives medicine to our one dog who requires it, and we’re happy repeat customers!”

“We fully recommend Dawnula! She doesn’t shy away from a challenge and our pups Hunter and Turtle loved their stay. They are sad to leave her house when we picked them up! Hunter needs twice a day meds and Dawnula was able to ensure he was taken care of. We will be booking her again.”

“Melissa was great — super communicative, sent pics and updates the whole time, asked all the right questions, and gave my dog genuine, attentive care. Highly recommend”

“Devan was excellent with Pepper, and was extremely meticulous in his communication. We received constant text and photo updates during his stay and that’s one of the most important qualities when caring for a pet.”

“Hoi Yan was absolutely fabulous! She watched my golden retriever for a long holiday weekend and it was clear he didn’t want to leave at the end of it. I received morning and evening updates with pictures of their adventures. He was extraordinarily well cared for. By far the best rover experience I have had.”

“My dog loved Don! He took such good care of my girl. Lots of walks, lots of pets, lots of updates. I felt very comfortable leaving her in his hands. I’d definitely look to book with him again.”

“Simran was an outstanding pet sitter for our cats while we were out of town. Aside from her background as an experienced cat owner, her communication is excellent, she is kind, professional, punctual, and we felt very comfortable leaving our pets under her care. Book with confidence.”

“Jill was wonderful! Very patient and gentle with my shy senior cat. Was able to give him meds and gave lots of attention and pets to both cats and rabbits as well. I’ll feel much better going on trips knowing she is looking after them.”

“Rhea is so awesome! My husband and I booked her for drop in visits for our kitty while we were visiting friends for the weekend. She is very communicative and sends lots of photos. I was so anxious to leave our kitty alone for the weekend but Rhea took such great care of him and it really put my mind at ease. Will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

“Abbey and Gabriel took care of my two cats for 5 days (twice daily visits). They made every visit and sent us cute photos photos and updates after every visit. The place was clean when we got home. I will book with them again.”

“Emma is very communicative and flexible- and got our antisocial kitties to open up! We appreciated the detailed feedback and pictures each day. Much thanks!!”

About: I’ve been raising my Corgi for over 8 years, and caring for him has taught me how to understand different personalities, body language, and daily routine. Dogs make the world a better place, and it’s a privilege to earn their trust. I believe every dog is unique, so I always adjust my care to match their energy level, personality, and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping your dog company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m responsible, patient, and have a flexible schedule, so your pup will receive plenty of attention and care. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I currently am working a remote job so I have a very flexible schedule. I can easily accommodate your pet’s routine and provide plenty of one-on-one attention. I can provide drop in service. During every visit, I’ll carefully follow your instructions and respect your dog’s routine so they feel as comfortable as possible. I know every dog is someone’s family. I’ll care for your pup with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own Corgi, and always keep you updated.
“Tyler was great with our kitties! The communication was prompt, he was also very helpful in setting up the automatic feeder since I didn't have time to do it before my flight! Cats seemed happy and content when we were back!”

“This was my first time working with Paula and I'd absolutely have her back again. She was communicative and sent pictures daily and my kitties seemed nice and comfortable with her. All good!”

“Kris was incredibly attentive and patient with our shy and cautious kitty. This was my first time getting a sitter from Rover and I’ll ask for Kris again next time! I trusted her and loved her updates and pictures. Highly recommend!”

“Anne was awesome! She took great care of my two cats while I was away. What impressed me the most was her clear, concise communication and the effort she put in to bond with my kitties. She took extra time to play with them and give them company, alongside the brass tacks of feeding and cleaning. As long as she is willing, I’ll be trusting her with my cats anytime I need a sitter.”

“First time booking with Rover and had a spectacular experience with Ingrid! Super friendly, communicative and went above and beyond grabbing packages from outside and putting them in my house. Thanks a ton, Ingrid! Loki also thanks you :)”

“Malania is amazing. She was communicative, and very sweet with my little cat, Merlot. Merlot trusted her right away and I had total peace of mind knowing that she was being cared for by such a great rover. Thanks Malania!!!”

“Marcia was very friendly and great with our kitten. We were nervous to leave her alone for the first time, but Marcia sent lots of pictures and took a lot of our worry away. Will definitely be contacting her again in the future :)”

“Briana took great care of our kitties when we were away for a few days! One of our cats is on the shy side, but he warmed up to her very quickly which is always a great endorsement for a sitter! Briana is very conscious and took excellent care of our house overall as well.”
“Faye is wonderful with our two senior ladies! They are so communicative, professional, and kind. Our household especially appreciated their experience with administering kitty medication, and all of the photo and text updates!”

“Justin does such a great job taking care of my cats! I always know they are in good hands when he is housesitting. He is my first choice whenever we leave town!”

About: Had dogs primarily since I was a child, spent most of my life raising large dogs and spending occasional time with Cats. Very active and love to walk/hang out with any and all fur babies. I am taking a break from my regular full time career (Bartending/Restaurant Management) to spend more time pursuing art and music, and would love to have an income source that is both fulfilling and schedule flexible. I believe in relationship building with any pet I spend time with: every dog or cat is different and has different needs/quirks that require a different approach; mine always starts with trying to establish trust and a playful/happy rapport with the pet so they know I can be trusted and respected when I’m in their space, and vice versa. My apartment in particular that I share with my girlfriend is rather small, so I will mostly be taking jobs that are in clients’ homes or are just check ins/walks. However on a case by case basis I could possibly accept boarding, we don’t currently have a pet and are entertaining the idea, so a bit of in home practice could be welcome.
“Elizabeth was very professional and thorough. She checked in on my cat while I was out of town and provided excellent updates during the process, which put my mind at ease. I hope she's available the next time I'm out of town!”

“We booked Felix on short notice for evening daycare, and he was very thoughtful in assessing whether our dog would be a good fit for his setup. We really appreciated the detailed updates and feedback throughout the stay. Felix has a strong understanding of dog behavior and group dynamics, which gave us peace of mind, and our somewhat nervous dog seemed to fit right in with his pack. Thanks Felix!”

“Sofia has been wonderful with my shy guy dog with separation anxiety. Her adorable dog, Dona, has such great calming energy and seems to be a great friend and mentor for my dog. Sofia is great with updates and communication, and is a natural dog person. I’m so grateful to have found her!”

About: i have loved animals ever since i was a kid and have had cats my whole life. She was very understandable about Poppy’s reactivity and checked in about her typical routines. Great communication and cute pics. Thanks Tiffany! We look forward to Poppy’s next stay!”

About: Experienced Care for Your Pup :-) I’ve spent more than 15 years working with and training horses and dogs, including raising and training my own dogs from puppyhood. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, structured, and relationship-based approach that helps animals feel safe, understood, and comfortable in my care. I’m happy to help with both ongoing routines and occasional support when schedules get busy, travel comes up, or your dog simply needs an extra walk or check-in. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I care deeply about creating a positive experience for both pets and their people. My resident pup, Hank, is a lil 28 pound Corgi / Cocker Spaniel mix who is great with most every guest in our house, but I've learned that big dogs with strong, dominant personalities can intimidate him (typically German Shepherds, Malinois, Boxers, Bully breeds). Retrievers, Setters and other bigger pups are typically fine :-) We also have one bossy resident cat who keeps to herself, but is good at firmly and safely setting boundaries with pups if needed - just a quick air swat and hiss. I’d love to meet you and your dog to see if we’re a good fit. I currently work from home, stepping out to walk my dog or to run errands. I also take Hank to the dog park every morning from 9 - 10am, as it's a stone's throw away. Once I get to know your dog and with your permission, dog park visits may be an option. Because of my experience, I’m often able to quickly assess a dog’s comfort level, energy, communication style, and individual needs - whether they need more structure, more patience, a slower introduction, reassurance, or simply space to settle in. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual and adapting my approach to help them feel secure and successful. For boarding and in-home care, I prefer a quieter, lower-volume environment where dogs can receive more personalized attention. I pay close attention to routines, feeding instructions, medication needs, exercise levels, and behavioral cues to help dogs feel as comfortable and settled as possible. I am American Red Cross certified in Pet CPR (Certificate ID is 02D1BHP). You can expect: • dependable and professional communication • regular updates and photos • close attention to your dog’s routines and needs • thoughtful, individualized care I’m especially comfortable with: • anxious or sensitive dogs • senior dogs (who are mobile - I'm in a townhouse) • high-energy dogs who benefit from structure • puppies and younger dogs learning routines • dogs who need patience, consistency, and calm handling My approach is calm, attentive, and grounded in trust and consistency. I understand how important routines, communication, and environment are for animals, and I strive to create a positive, low-stress experience while they’re in my care. I offer: • dog walking • one-off or occasional walks • repeat weekly walks • drop-in visits • overnight boarding in my home • daytime companionship and care
“Kristen was amazing with our newly adopted shelter pup! We did a small meet & greet the day before and after I dropped my dog off, she provided picture/text updates. Not only that, but she helped bring the dog supplies and bed back to my car since my hands were full. First time using Rover and was definitely nervous especially since we only had Saber for about 2 months; but she set the bar at a great height.”

“Paula was super responsive and showed up promptly for her walks with Brandy. We got very detailed cards after each walk and Brandy was a happy pup when we got home. We’ve already booked Paula for future walks and dog sitting!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire childhood, and learned to care for many different types of dogs early on in life. While completing my undergrad I spent 3 years as a live-in caretaker for someone with a dog, 2 cats, and a parrot (cockatoo). I have also spent 3 months caring for a service dog, however other than those 3 months I lack much experience in that field. I'm about to start my masters degree at UW, where i'll be studying music performance. This means there will probably be times everyday where I will need to be out & about. I will have a better idea about schedule flexibility once we get closer to semester start! Once I have the info I need I will edit this section accordingly :) I have worked with animals of many behavioral styles and daily routines, and happy to provide whatever specific care your pet needs. I always keep a positive & engaging attitude - treats are present but definitely kept at a minimum ;) It can be an unsettling time for your pet when their people(s) need to leave for a bit, so it's important that they know that someones there for them until you return!
“Mira walked my pup Peanut who can be a rascal on the leash and did a great job. Also super accommodating with some issues on getting into the building which was much appreciated! 100% would book again!”

“Taylor is great with our dog! She walked her while having a bad recovering hot spot and gave us helpful updates each day as well as helped put her donut cone back on.”

“Elizabeth was wonderful! I recently had surgery (and realized after I got home from the hospital, there was no way I could walk my dog during the recovery period.) I used Rover for the first time and hired Elizabeth for the first week of my recovery (and then rehired her to help the second week.) Elizabeth arrived on time, had great energy, and helped us during a time of need. We will hire her again. I was very pleased with this service and will recommend Elizabeth and Rover to others.”

“Deanna is fantastic! Potato loves his time with her and looks forward to her visits. Deanna is very communicative and is a great help with our leash/puppy training!”

“Dylan was fantastic with Appa during her two walks! He was attentive, and clearly great with dogs. Appa came back happy and relaxed each time, and I appreciated the updates and care he provided. Would definitely recommend Dylan to anyone!”

“Alana is awesome! She took my two dogs out for walks while I was out of town. I have a boarder collie mix that can be leash aggressive and she handled him professionally (her dog has it also). I'd 100% recommended her!”

“Alia took great care of my dog and cat. My dog gets anxiety when we are gone and she did a great job with him and provided updates on how he was doing each day. She was prompt in responses when I reached out about specific needs (she was watching them over the 4th of July and I was concerned about fireworks affecting the anxiety). I would definitely have her look after my pets again in the future!”

“Isabella was so so great with our dog, Benji! She kept us updated on how he was each day and really went the extra mile with making sure Benji was comfortable. Really appreciate the great care and I wouldn’t think twice about leaving my dog with her again ! ❤️”

“Eric was great with our dog Bloo. He sent us lots of pictures and updates each day. It gave us peace of mind to know our pup was being taken care of so well while we were away!”

“Where do I even start?! Sarah and Andrew were absolutely amazing and so were their kids! I have only left my fur baby with other people a few times so I get nervous about him being away but I felt completely at ease with him in their care! They sent regular updates with adorable photos, I could tell Tito was having a great time and felt so safe. He immediately was happy and calm when I dropped him off. They’ll were also so sweet and flexible with my delayed flight! I will ABSOLUTELY book with them again and I certainly encourage you to do the same if you get the chance! Truly a wonderful family and beautiful humans that take this seriously and love watching pups.”

“Catherine was so wonderful with Pip! Sent lots of photos and updated us on all their activities. They did plenty of walking and playing! Catherine also knew the perfect times to take Pip outside to avoid crowds and other dogs. Highly recommend Catherine!”

“Delaney and Macaroni were wonderful! Laney was exceptional at communicating with me and it was so easy to get updates, discuss plans, and I appreciated her flexibility! I also felt so comfortable after meeting her and Macaroni in advance of our trip, she is so compassionate and supportive. My dog had a great time playing and going to parks while we were away, I think Laney took such good care of her. I would recommend Delaney to anyone and felt will definitely reach out in the future for other boarding opportunities.”
