About: I've been a dog sitter with Rover for over 7 years and I love every minute of it. I'm so excited to meet you and your pet! About this sitter: Currently offering drop ins (cats and dogs) and dog walks! I have ample availability during the week and would love to hang out with your pet. Why I love dog sitting I have loved dogs since I was a knee-high. I picked out my first loveable mutt, a German Shepherd, Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix, when I was in 6th grade. Since then I have always had a four-legged friend of my own. Meet my pets: James and Greta the miniature schnauzers About my yard Have a fenced front and back yard and I'm able to take your pup outdoors for a walk around the block as often as he/she needs. My experience administering medication Yes, I have had to administer medication to many pets, though I do not have experience with injections. I work full time remotely, and your dog will join me and my puppy on our daily walks and play time in the yard. We love hiking on weekends as well so if they like that let me know! Otherwise we can find other fun things to do. Also big fan of breweries on the weekend so also let me know if you or your dog aren’t comfortable with that many people around, etc. I have a fenced front and back yard and a puppy if my own. Frequent walks and play time. My puppy loves to play a lot so if your dog is high energy that is awesome.
About: I have been trusted with friends and families fur babies for almost 8 years, and had many years living with dogs as well. I have experience giving medication, caring for dogs in times of stress and anxiety, and of course going on daily walks. I have stayed overnight with dogs whose parents are out of town and I have experience with bigger dogs, as well as smaller breeds. I have also cared for a wide array of personalities as all dogs are very different, I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and how to have a good time with them. I work part time and have plenty of mornings available for pet care, I only work late nights once or twice a week and am almost always available after 8/9pm if needed. I am often going on a walk daily and bringing a dog along with me is even better! I am always making sure to cater to a dogs wants and needs, whether that be outside time running laps and playing fetch, or having down time inside and just hanging out. I understand that each dogs needs are different and being able to provide them with a fulfilling day is something I love!
About: I have over 20 years of experience working with animals both personally and professionally. I worked professionally at the Tulsa Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals from 2005-2008 and became the manager of puppy care. Upon returning to Seattle, I volunteered for PAWS Animal Shelter in Lynnwood, providing foster care for kittens that required bottle feeding, as well as litters too young or too sick to stay in the shelter. My former pets include three rescue cats (one with special needs), and one rescue dog. I currently have a 5 year old American Pit Bull Terrier / American Bulldog that I also rescued from PAWS Animal Shelter about a year ago. We love going for walks and hikes together, and visiting Sniffspots around the Seattle area. I love caring for animals and will treat your animals like I treat my own. I currently reside in Ballard and work from home. My work schedule is flexible which makes last minute walks and drop-in visits easy for me. I have recently reopened my Rover account and hope to get some new clients over the summer months! I work a flexible, part time schedule from home. Both my flexible work hours and the fact that I work from home make both regular and last minute walks and drop-in visits easy for me to do in Ballard and surrounding areas. I always offer free meet and greets either around the neighborhood or in your home to make sure that I am a good for for both you and your pet. When I come to your home for drop-in visits, your animal(s) will be my one and only focus. I am highly respectful of privacy and understand that having a new person in your home can feel vulnerable, especially at first.
“Christine is great with my dog! She has been patient as my dog adjusts to her. Christine has a good natural sense around my dog and her behavior. Very happy to have found her on Rover!”

“Stacey is super communicative and kind, and great with our extra-sniffy Lab. We just moved to the area and are so happy to have someone great in the area we can rely on!”

“Mira is extremely reliable, timely, and a great communicator! My pup has been well cared for on her walks while I’m at work, very grateful for the service she provides!”

About: I have experience as a professional dog grooming and 15 years experience caring for pets including multi pet households. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy adventures with a furry friend. I love animals and animals love me. I also provide high quality photography of your fur baby during the stay! I have open availability to caring for pets in their home as well as dog walking. I have the flexibility to adapt to any animals schedule. I can walk up to 3x a day. I travel/remote work, therefore while sitting, I can dedicate my time to your home/animals/plants. I do not have any pets in my home, anymore. I am able to care for multiple pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, guinea pigs and aquatic pets in their homes.
“Chip did a wonderful job with our pup Cedar! He was super patient, took the time to let her get comfortable, helped with training, and communicated quite well. Chip understands dog psychology. We will be utilizing his services again in the future!”

“Katie has great communication and seemed to genuinely enjoy our dog. Anyone can walk a dog, but these are things that make the difference! We will definitely book with her again.”

About: We're new to Seattle after moving from North Carolina, and we'd love to meet some new four-legged friends! Between the two of us, we've spent our lives around animals. We both grew up with dogs as beloved family members, and today we share our home with cats and a rabbit. While we adore our own pets, we miss the joy of spending time with dogs and would love to give yours the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve. Lucas is a former dog trainer with experience understanding canine behavior and reinforcing good habits using positive interactions. Des is happiest with a tennis ball in hand and is always ready for a game of fetch, a long walk, or plenty of belly rubs and cuddles. We enjoy caring for pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies to gentle senior companions and everyone in between. We also have experience with cats, rabbits, and other small animals. We're comfortable administering oral medications and have experience giving subcutaneous fluids to senior cats, so we're happy to care for pets with extra medical needs. Although we can't host pets in our apartment, we're available for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting in your home. We'll follow your pet's routine closely, treat your home with respect, and send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing they're in caring, capable hands. Every pet is unique, and we'll make sure yours receives the love, patience, and individualized care they deserve. We can't wait to meet you and your floofy family member! We both work remotely and have flexible schedules which means we can work around your pet's routines and needs. Fitting in multiple visits or walks per day is not a problem. Safety is my #1 priority when it comes to my own pets and it will be with yours as well! Dogs will always be on a non-retractable leash (I have my own, if you do not) and we will be sure to follow whatever house rules you have in place. Cats will never be allowed outside unless that is something you prefer and specifically request.
“Reza is so wonderful! He is thoughtful and caring, giving me thorough updates on how my dog is doing. He is flexible and understanding, and willing to adjust our schedule if things come up. He is reliable and consistent, and I can always count on my dog being well taken care of if Reza has stopped by. My dog gets really excited to see him! I feel lucky he’s taking care of my pup. Highly recommend!!”

About: Hi! I'm Cassie, and I provide dependable, attentive care for both pets and the homes they live in. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you're away by treating your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. My background includes house sitting, pet sitting, managing residential properties, and hosting my own Airbnb, giving me extensive experience keeping homes secure, organized, and well cared for. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes, following detailed routines, administering basic medications when needed, watering plants, bringing in mail and packages, and keeping you updated with regular messages and photos. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and routine. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or simply wants a calm companion nearby, I tailor my care to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I have a flexible schedule, communicate promptly, and pride myself on being dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful of every home I stay in. My goal is for you to return home to happy pets and a home that's exactly as you left it. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Please note that my sweet lemon beagle, Harper, occasionally accompanies for overnight stays with other friendly pets. She is 3 years old, house trained, crate trained and extremely friendly with other pets, children and other people. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine. I have a 25-pound beagle named Harper, so my days naturally revolve around regular walks, playtime, feeding, enrichment, and making sure she gets plenty of attention and exercise. I'm attentive to routines and understand how important consistency is for helping pets feel comfortable and secure. Beyond caring for my own dog, I have experience house sitting and caring for pets in their own homes, following each owner's instructions closely to maintain their normal schedule. Whether that's walks, meals, medications, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I enjoy making sure pets are happy, relaxed, and well cared for while their families are away. Because I have a flexible schedule, I'm able to provide attentive care throughout the day and keep owners updated with regular messages and photos for added peace of mind. Every pet has a different routine, so I start by learning their schedule, preferences, and any special instructions before the stay. I follow feeding, walking, medication, and exercise routines as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and reduce stress while their owners are away. In your home, I treat both your pets and your property with the utmost respect. I keep the home clean and secure, bring in mail and packages if requested, water plants, and make sure everything is well cared for until you return. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. Safety is always my top priority. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets securely leashed unless instructed otherwise in a safe enclosed area, monitor them for any changes in behavior or health, and follow all household rules and emergency instructions. My goal is for you to come home to happy pets and a home that's exactly as you left it.
“Alana is awesome! She took my two dogs out for walks while I was out of town. I have a boarder collie mix that can be leash aggressive and she handled him professionally (her dog has it also). I'd 100% recommended her!”

Rayan was an excellent choice to take care of my boxer while I was away. He was very attentive and paid attention to every detail. He was always on time and did a great job managing my dog, who can definitely be a handful. He also handled unexpected situations that came up very well. I felt confident knowing my dog was in good hands and would definitely recommend Rayan.
