Cats are awesome as well but I’m allergic to their dander. I’m willing to make accommodations with multiple trips a day to meet your fur babies’ needs. About: I grew up raising puppies and have had dogs around me my entire life. But more importantly, I know firsthand that not every dog is an easygoing, "walk-in-the-park" pup—and that’s my specialty. My personal dog is a 16-year-old sweet senior whom I’ve raised since he was 5 weeks old. He is reactive in his old age, and now requires additional patience and understanding. He also developed some arthritis and requires daily medication management. Flexible Workdays: I work remotely with a light meeting schedule. With a little advance notice, I can easily accommodate mid-afternoon drop-ins or last-minute walk requests! ✈️ Travel & Notice Preferences Short-Notice Friendly: If I’m in town and my calendar is open, I’m happy to take last-minute requests. Travel Buffer: I do travel occasionally for work. My Rover calendar is kept up-to-date, but recurring weekly clients get priority booking and advanced notice of any away dates! 1. Your property will always be locked and secured when I leave. 🧼 Clean & Mindful: I leave your space exactly as I found it. Paws get wiped on rainy days, mess items are cleaned up, and dirty food/water bowls are washed after every visit. 2. Safety Practices & Walk Rules Because I handle my own reactive senior dog daily, safety on walks is second nature to me: 🦮 Equipment Checks: Before stepping foot outside, I double-check that leashes, collars, and harnesses are properly fitted and securely latched. I use fixed 6-foot leashes (no retractable leashes) for maximum control and safety. 🛑 Strict "Zero-Greeting" Policy: I never allow on-leash greetings with unfamiliar dogs or strangers. I constantly scan the environment for triggers, cross streets early, and give your dog a low-stress, quiet walk. 💧 Weather & Hydration Aware: I monitor pavement temperatures in hot weather and always carry fresh water during outdoor visits. 3. Information I Need Before Our First Visit (The "Meet & Greet") To ensure your pet gets the safest, happiest care possible, please share: 💊 Medication Routines: Any exact dosages, schedule, or preferred trick to administering pills/liquids. ⚠️ Triggers & Anxieties: Does your pet dislike loud noises, bicycles, other dogs, or certain touch zones (e.g., paws, ears)? 📍 Emergency Contacts: Your preferred vet, the nearest 24/7 emergency vet clinic, and a local emergency contact. 🚪 Home Quirks: Any tricky locks, gate latches, or specific places your pet likes to hide when scared.

About: I have been trusted with friends and families fur babies for almost 8 years, and had many years living with dogs as well. I have experience giving medication, caring for dogs in times of stress and anxiety, and of course going on daily walks. I have stayed overnight with dogs whose parents are out of town and I have experience with bigger dogs, as well as smaller breeds. I have also cared for a wide array of personalities as all dogs are very different, I enjoy learning about each dog I meet and how to have a good time with them. I work part time and have plenty of mornings available for pet care, I only work late nights once or twice a week and am almost always available after 8/9pm if needed. I am often going on a walk daily and bringing a dog along with me is even better! I am always making sure to cater to a dogs wants and needs, whether that be outside time running laps and playing fetch, or having down time inside and just hanging out. I understand that each dogs needs are different and being able to provide them with a fulfilling day is something I love!

About: I have experience since childhood with walking, feeding and teaching desired behaviors with treats and positive reinforcement. Within the last two years, I can bathe and crate-train as well. My schedule is completely open, I work my own hours and can adjust according to your pet's needs. I will be quick to communicate if there are any unforseen changes with multiple day's notice. I'm very patient with animals and happy to accommodate any special needs your pet might have (frequent potty breaks, putting on sweaters before walks, crate-training, etc).

I am currently working part time, and make my own schedule one week at a time, so I have plenty of time and flexibility to plan in advance to be available for taking care and playing with your furry friends. About: (They/Them) I have lifelong experience with raising and taking care of various pets. There was never a time in my life where my family hasn't had at least one cat or dog! In my younger years, I have helped take care of smaller dogs like Yorkies and Westies, and in older years, bigger breeds like Pitbulls (I have the most experience with them!), Rottweilers, Great Danes, etc. I'm both a dog and cat person! Cats are also my bread and butter, I love any cat with all my heart. I have also raised several fish and the occasional lizard. I do not mind jumpy animals at all and have a lot of patience with skittish ones. I am experienced with both young and elderly animals. I am familiar with administering oral and topical medications as a recent caretaker of an elderly (19 years old) cat, and 13 and 11 year old Pitbulls. I am very detail oriented and will triple-check any medication dosages or food amounts. I love to spoil pets as well and give lots of affection and/or may sneak a little treat or two if you allow! ;) My parents, roommates, and friends often call me as a first resort to sit their animals while away on vacation. As an introvert, spending time with animals is my happy place! Working for Rover will be my (flexible) full time job! Most of my time commitments outside of work will be band rehearsals, performances, and nerdy activities that fuel my creative side. I am a huge night owl so I will tend to gravitate towards evening needs or overnights, but do not mind a lovely dog walk during the day! SPECIFICS: Wednesdays and Thursdays I have rehearsals in the evenings, so daytime only availability. If I am booked for an overnight, expect that on a W or Th I will be gone for 3-4 hrs those evenings depending on your location. Saturdays are usually busy for me from late Spring - early Fall, but this can be case by case. Lets chat. :) I am very respectful of other's spaces and dislike leaving messes. I operate with a "leave no trace" or "leave it better than you found it" type of attitude. I work best with clear cut boundaries and instructions in order to ensure that I am not invading or changing your personal spaces. The more clarity the better.

About: My pup recently crossed the rainbow bridge and I deeply miss going on walks. live in Ballard and work near Seattle Center. I would love to take your pup on a nice long walk, dog park date, snuggle up with a good book or practice those tricks they've been working at.
