“Jennifer was great as always! She is our go-to dog walker & for drop in visits, and I always feel confident our pup is well taken care of with her. She is very reliable and has excellent communication.”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for over 20 years. I currently have two family dogs of my own, in addition to countless fur “nieces and nephews,” aka our friends’ dogs who my boyfriend and I care for often and love like our own. I have experience with dogs of all ages, temperaments, breeds, energy levels, etc. I can’t wait to love on your pup! I have a hybrid job that allows me to work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. However, my boyfriend of 6 years (also a huge dog lover) works from home full-time and will be able to take your dog out on walks when I’m at the office. When I’m working from home and on the weekends, I have plenty of time to take your pup outside, play, give belly rubs, and send all the pics your heart desires! I live in a spacious two-bedroom home on Bitter Lake with my boyfriend of 6 years. We have tons of room for playtime and beautiful walking views. Your dog will be so loved in our home!

“Communicative, easy going and flexible! Faith got to meet and get comfortable with Justin before he was scheduled to walk her. He was on time for walks and helped out with feedings too.”

About: 10+ years of experience caring for rescue, older and anxious pups. I love making pups and their parents happy. I am very patient and provide compassionate, individualized care to animals. I am responsive and reliable and truly love caring for animals. I live in a large 2 bedroom apartment with my golden retriever Bhodi who loves friends to play with and we have a fully fenced shared yard for them to use and go on many walks and adventures daily. Also available for drop ins and walks. I work from home 3 of 5 days a week and never leave my pup home for long even on my 2 in office days. I live in apartment with a shared fully fenced yard and close to many trails and dog parks. I take pups out on several walks daily and make sure they have ample water, food, treats and love at all times.
About: I’ve been fostering and caring for cats since I was in first grade, giving me lifelong hands on experience with animals. I also worked at a doggy daycare for 3 and a half years, where I developed a strong understanding of animal behavior, group dynamics, and body language. I had a dog of my own, previously worked at a veterinary clinic, and currently work part-time as a veterinary assistant at an animal shelter. I am currently working part-time so I will have plenty of time to spend time and give lots of love to your puppies! I’m available during the weekday after 1 o’clock and then anytime on the weekends I offer dog walking and daytime care, with plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. In a client’s home, I’ll keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible, follow their normal feeding and walking schedule, and give them plenty of patience and reassurance so they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I live in a first floor apartment with easy outdoor access for regular walks and potty breaks. I don’t currently have any pets, so I can provide a calm, pet free environment for dogs to stay. I’m also happy to accommodate crates or anything else that helps a puppy or dog feel secure.
“Tanja is reliable, kind, and compassionate. She helped us with our two senior pups and two cats and took the time to learn about our pets and take great of them. Thank you so much and we will call Tanja in the future for help.”

“Amanda is a reliable, communicative, and kind person. Blossom loves her and is ready for her walk as soon as she hears her voice! My Mom and Blossom are at Cogir Memory Care, and Amanda is respectful and comfortable in that setting. Amanda is wonderful and I would undoubtedly hire her again :)”

One of the benefits of the area that I live is that we are surrounded by nature so there are many animals here. Sometimes when I open my front door in the morning there are deer in front of my gate waiting to see what will happen at breakfast time. Travel/Work/experience: 1993-1994 Worked for a historical museum in Ukraine. Was responsible for finding and conducting video interviews with Ukrainian Holocaust survivors. Specifically we were looking for survivors of Einsatzgruppen events. 1994-1995 High school History/English teacher in Bratislava, Slovakia. 1995-1997 Teacher and then manager of a private language school in Moscow, Russia. 1997-1998 Manager of a bar/restaurant, Koh Samet, Thailand. Yes, exactly as in the Deadliest Catch but 7 years before the show started. Was on my boat each year for between 8-10 months. 2002-present. Owner of a private Language School. I have slowly grown my school into one of the largest language schools in Slovakia. I currently have a staff of over 50 teachers teaching English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Italian as well as Slovak for the many foreign managers living and working in multinational companies. My school cooperates with most of the large multinational companies in the area. I also cooperate quite closely with the local and state police departments as well as the mayor and city council all of whom are my students. While I will be house-sitting for you I will be managing my private Language School online. I will always have time to take care of the homes that I sit for as well as the pets regular routine. I always try my best to maintain the same pet schedule. 1st of all I LOVE ANIMALS! Our home in Slovakia is located up on the hill in the woods overlooking the lake. We have a large orchard and our nearest neighbor is about 300 m from us. We currently have 7 cats in various phases of either living, hanging out, or adding us to their busy social/feeding routine. During the Summer I take care of 2 friends' homes so I take care of their dogs, cats, fish, and even a very old turtle. as well. I travel to the U.S. regularly to visit friends/family each and this website is a perfect fit for my lifestyle as I manage my school remotely. To be quite honest, for all of the travelling I have done over the past 30 years, I have not travelled nor experienced the U.S. much which is another reason I have joined this website. I thought it would be a great way to see the U.S. as well as spend time with lots of great pets! I could take you anywhere you wanted on the Budapest metro blindfolded but have never been to Washington D.C. for example. Please feel free to contact me so we can speak in person about your pets, home and your requirements.
About: I've had dogs for my entire life - big, medium, and small, and usually more than one at a time, and I love them! I also used to groom dogs professionally, so I know how to take care of them and keep them happy even when they're stressed. I worked with and trained with horses for over a decade too, which means I'm comfortable working with dogs of just about every size. I also have some experience training dogs and some training in emergency first aid for animals. I work a full time job but I have my own vehicle and a flexible schedule so I have a lot of availability. I can run with your dog, take them to a park, whatever you or they need.
“Greyson absolutely adores Finn. She treats him so well and they have a special bond. We have completely trust and confidence that he will have an amazing, enjoyable walk.”

About: I've owned dog all my life and have done lots to help raise and take care of them, especially in the last few years I have taken on more responsibilities and for the last three months I worked with a dog training facility and taught classes for puppy training, obedience, and agility training! I even now have a cat that is my entire child and I work with dogs on the daily. After my job shut down unexpectedly, I have all the time in the world and I never mind a long drive! I can do anything from taking your dog on a walk or hike, to staying overnight taking care and doing some training with your pets. The only thing I can't do is take them into my apartment. I have lots of experience caring and working with other people's pets, I am good at listening to instructions and will never step out of your boundaries on purpose. I love to spend a day relaxing and playing with my dog at home and making sure they get the enrichment and affection at the end of each day.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. As of 2026, I recently lost my dog Lily, and about a year and a half ago I lost Hayzel, who was my soul dog. Hayzel was 11 and Lily was 13, both pitbulls that I trained myself. They were truly the best dogs I could have ever asked for. I’ve also worked professionally in pet sitting, dog walking, and dog training for several years. Hayzel and Lily actually assisted me in working with other dogs, especially those with anxiety, which gave me a deep understanding of behavior, energy, and trust. I’ve been in the holistic health field for over 20 years, and that naturally extended into working with animals alongside humans. I now work in nervous system integration, photography, and coaching, and I bring that same grounded, calm presence into how I care for dogs. I work especially well with large breeds, but I’m always happy to spend time with smaller dogs as well. I’m also the kind of person who will stop to help a loose dog find its owner—I actually did that today as I’m writing this. I live a quiet, clean, minimalist, and sober lifestyle. While I’ve spent a lot of time alone in recent years, my dogs were my constant companions for over 13 years. After losing Lily, I realized just how special that connection is. I’m not quite ready for my next dog yet, but being around them still feels deeply important to me. I care for every dog with attention, presence, and respect for who they are, not just what they need. The pictures I included are images throughout the years with my dogs. It was a bit hard to go through them, but oh am I happy that I found them. My main role at this time is photography and I set my own schedule. I tend to only work 4 hours a day and when my shoots might extend longer on certain days, I am easily able to fit in visits for those pets that need outdoor time a little quicker than others. I care for pets by paying close attention to their individual needs, routine, and energy. In a client’s home, I aim to keep everything as consistent and familiar as possible so your dog feels comfortable while you’re away. I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific instructions closely, while also making sure they’re getting real attention and presence, not just a quick check-in. I bring a calm, grounded energy and take the time to build trust, especially with dogs who may have anxiety or need a slower approach. I’ve worked with a wide range of temperaments, including high-energy and more sensitive dogs, and I adjust my care based on what each dog responds to best. If they’re playful, I’m all in!! I will absolutely play like a kid with them and let them get it out. If they’re cuddlers, they’re going to get a level of cuddling that might rival what they’re used to 😅 I genuinely enjoy being with them and meeting them exactly where they are. I also understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I’ve been on that side of it, and I’m very mindful because of it. I’m conscious of where and how I eat so nothing is left out for them to get into, I make sure doors are always secure, and I keep a constant awareness of their safety and environment. I’m very respectful of your home and space. I keep things clean, communicate clearly, and will send updates so you know how your dog is doing. My goal is for you to feel at ease knowing your pet is being genuinely cared for while you’re away. If I’m doing drop-ins or walks, I make sure your dog gets quality interaction, not just the basics. Whether that’s playtime, a relaxed walk, or simply being present with them.

“Nikki has bee such a great partner and caregiver to our new puppy. She super attentive and flexible with shifting schedules. She's given great updates on the walks and I really feel supported. She's easy to communicate with as well. Couldn't recommend her enough!”

About: Hey there! I love dogs always have always will. I have had 3 dogs myself and grew up with many others. I love to train and meet new dogs and have completed a few training sessions with the Tampa Humane Society where I found my older dog Donny . First dog park trip is 9 AM everyday, Second is at 12 noon. I go to shoreview off leash, near Shoreline CC. Perfect place to interact with other dogs or go walk the many trails behind the park. Please let me know of any special requirements for your furry friend and I can 100% accommodate. Just ask and I will supply pictures, videos and updates.
“Lizzy had a great meet and greet followed by 4 days of great walks with Andrew. Lots of pictures and different routes. I've already hired Andrew again for another trip I have.”

About: Hi there! I go by Titi. You may know me as Bandit's momma. I'm currently in school and will be graduating this summer. I have experience with disabled dogs, senior dogs and high energy dogs. I'm also happy to administer oral meds or spend time outside walking or reading at the park with your pupper or kitty. I like to meet ahead of time for home visits, so there is trust between your pet and I. Let me know if you have any questions. Pet care is naturally built into my active lifestyle. I exercise 1-2 hours a day, so I love taking high-energy dogs on runs. For more mature or relaxed pets, I enjoy spending quiet time stretching or reading with them. It’s all about matching their energy and needs. Whether in your home or mine, I treat every pet like family. I follow their regular routines, ensure they feel safe and comfortable, and give them plenty of love, play, and attention. I provide clean spaces, fresh food and water, regular walks, and personalized care based on their needs. You’ll get daily updates and photos so you always know your pet is happy and well cared for.
“John helped us with walking our Dachshund, Cody, daily for the past week. He was amazing—I will definitely work with him in the future and recommend him 100%. He was willing to come do a meet and greet and was so good with Cody. He is very attentive to Cody’s needs. He also sends detailed updates after each walk that I really appreciate. And took lots of cute pictures of Cody for us! Very reliable and above and beyond care.”

About: I’m a grad student at UW studying biology. I love animals and have always taken care of them since I was little! I grew up with four cats and currently have one cat of my own (a sweet black kitty named Gizmo). I have been cat sitting, dog sitting, and dog walking for neighbors and friends since I was a little kid. I would be honored to sit your cats and dogs! My schedule is flexible and I am able to work from home around half the day each day. My husband is also able to work fully remote. Because our schedules are flexible, we can be sure to schedule our day around your pet. We have a house with a small fenced in yard for pups to run around in, and live close to a bigger park! We also love daily walks for ourselves and any furry friends who are with us!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bitter Lake
Chelsie is lovely to work with - she helped me out a bit last minute by taking my dogs on a walk while I was out for a few hours. Her communication was excellent and she took pictures and sent updates during the walk. The dogs seemed very content and comfortable when I got home, I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Chelsie to watch the pups again in the future!

He has been incredibly reliable, communicative, and thoughtful with my dog. He’s patient and kind, as she is a puppy with a loud bark! He is always on time and does a great job keeping me updated, which gives me so much peace of mind when I’m not home. What really stands out is how attentive he is to her individual needs: she has a very thick coat, and he goes out of his way to take her to shaded, forested areas so she can stay comfortable and cool during her walks. He’s also been incredibly helpful when she’s had accidents or diarrhea in the house, including cleaning everything up without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend!
