About: Over the years, my husband and I have shared our lives with all kinds of dogs: farm dogs, little dogs, a Great Dane in a studio apartment, and now our Mini Australian Shepherd. We have learned and refined our dog ownership skills over time, finally investing in professional training for both our dog and ourselves in 2025. That experience shaped the kind of care I offer today. I believe dogs thrive with clear structure, consistency, and calm communication. I strive to provide the kind of boarding experience I wish I could find for my own dog, where training, routines, and boundaries are respected while you're away. I work from home full-time, so pet care fits naturally into my day. We have a large, fully fenced backyard, daily walks, and a very friendly Mini Australian Shepherd who enjoys canine company. Your dog won't be left alone for a typical workday. I do leave the house for school drop-offs and pick-ups, errands, or weekend activities. Dogs should be comfortable being alone for a few hours. Because I have both a young child and my own dog, I only accept dogs that: -Are friendly with children and other dogs. -Are up to date on vaccinations and flea prevention. -Can comfortably settle into a family home.

I work remotely, so I’m home throughout the day and able to give your dog plenty of attention, walks, and playtime. Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine, with regular breaks for outdoor time, meals, and playtime. My home is a safe and welcoming space. Inside, pets can relax in a clean, cozy environment with plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, I take dogs on regular leashed walks around the neighborhood or to a nearby park for exercise and playtime.

Have a lot of free time particularly during the day and work short hours which goes well with watching pets. I am from the San Juan Islands originally, so my pets have a big yard to play around in. I make sure that my pets are active and getting proper care. As for other people, I do what is requested whether that is just spending time with their pet/s, or walking them, or just checking in on them. I know that pets tend to get more lonely when someone isn’t around so I love to be there to help out when I can!
