“Kim is wonderful! My dog is a shelter rescue with separation anxiety. This was her first doggy daycare experience. Kim checked in with me within the first 20 minutes to reassure me that she was doing well, and updated often with photos and videos. We're so lucky to have found her! I've already booked again.”

“We are very happy with our new sitter, SJ! We adopted our dog earlier than expected without having a sitter set up. I messaged her as I was driving back from Canada and asked if she could sit for us the next morning. SJ was nice enough to offer to come (by bus) and meet Jaxson that very night as I got back into town. The meet and greet went well and she sat for him the very next morning. It is such a relief to have someone like SJ to look after him during the days when we can't. Thanks so much, SJ!”

Mariya M.

“I recently had the pleasure of leaving my Pomeranian, Whidbey, with Mariya for doggie daycare and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. As a dog parent, I was initially worried about leaving Whidbey with someone new, as he can be quite anxious and emotional when separated from us. However, Mariya quickly put my mind at ease with her kind and attentive nature. Mariya was extremely patient with Whidbey and took the time to understand his unique needs and temperament. Despite being a pandemic dog with limited socialization, Mariya assured me that Whidbey got along well with the other dogs at the daycare. This was a relief, as I was concerned about his ability to play and interact with unfamiliar pups. One aspect that truly stood out during Whidbey's stay with Mariya was the regular updates and photos she sent me. These gave me great peace of mind, as I could see firsthand that Whidbey was in good hands and enjoying himself. Mariya's thoughtfulness and commitment to keeping me informed were greatly appreciated. Overall, I couldn't be happier with Mariya's doggie daycare services. Her genuine care for Whidbey's well-being and her ability to provide a safe and comfortable environment for him were commendable. If the need arises in the future, I would definitely entrust Whidbey to Mariya's care again. Thank you, Mariya, for the exceptional doggie daycare experience and for taking such good care of our beloved Whidbey!”

About: I had a beagle who lived to be 17 years old. Her name was Hussles. I used to use Rover to get her pet care when I was traveling, now I'm using it to help take temporary care of her kin. I can do some basic elderly care, and live near Cowen / Ravenna park for walks. I live in a small apartment not very suitable for large dogs, but if they're mellow it might be OK. If your dog needs pills daily I can do that. If they need creams, ointments, or more diligent medications applied, maybe not so much. Please no aggressive barkers, I don't want to upset my neighbors. I am an Event Planner and Creative Project Manager, much of my work is done from home and on my own schedule. My schedule is often flexible and changing, so I'm used to adapting to schedules as they come up. Pets are family members and will be treated as such. For boarding, they'll just be hanging out with me while I work from home, and will be walked periodically as prescribed.

Tracey G.
“Tracey and her 2 sons love animals! They would do a great job giving your pet a home, lots of walks and extra love. Relationships are a priority for this family - whether its with humans or their furry friends. You can't go wrong!”

Jen G.

“Jen was absolutely fantastic! She was able to have my old man stay with her last minute while I was visiting from out of town. He was comfortable and happy when I picked him up, and Jen added some super cute photos of my little Chewy! Would highly recommend.”

Dillon B.

“Dillon is great! He sends frequent updates and photos and my dog loves playing with his dog. They love his yard and my dog slept for several hours after picking him up!”

Maiko N.

“This is my first time using Rover as I had a last minute daycare need for my puppy. Maiko was very flexible in helping me on such short notice. She was wonderful and so caring with my puppy. Throughout the day she was communicative with everything and took amazing pics of my pup to keep me updated. I could tell Mako was in great hands and was well loved. Mako had a great time with Maiko and her family and we’ll definitely come back!”

About: I have raised and trained dogs my entire adult life. I’m in my 30s now and have decided to take a little career break from tech to enjoy more time with my family and animals. If your doggos need an experienced dog mom to care for them while you’re on your next trip, I’m available! I’m taking a career break so my schedule is very flexible! I also have two dogs of my own (who we book care for all the time) so I’ll follow your instructions for when you want me arriving and departing your place each day. As a doggo mom myself, I know how important it is to keep care consistent. I have completed dog training with my own dogs, so if you’d like me to work with yours as well on basic commands, I’m game! Overall, I’ll care for your pet the way you want them to be cared for. ❤️

I don’t have any pet at home currently but I have a six years old who LOVES animals, especially dogs.

Gideon & Rissa C.
“Gideon and his wife have consistently proven to be exceptional pet-sitters. Having entrusted my furry companions to their care on multiple occasions, I can confidently say that they go above and beyond to ensure the well-being and happiness of my pets. Upon the first meeting with my dogs, they had covered all with checking in on their routine, quirks, and personality traits, and was even able to make them pay attention to him when I was having a hard time controlling them. I was worried about leaving my babies when I went on a trip once, but I felt so assured and relieved by the regular updates and exceptional communication that they provided. The biggest thing is the sense of relief knowing that my babies are in capable hands, and I give nothing but praises to Gideon and Rissa! 10/10 would recommend.”
