“Our babies were well attended to and were as calm & contented as the day we dropped them off. Kelly & Karen are great host parents. We look forward to having them sit for us again in the future.”

“Phillip and his family created the most loving and relaxing environment for Grouter’s stay with them. He was very communicative and easy to coordinate with. Grouter had a great time and I had a wonderful vacation knowing my pup was in great hands!”

“Our Mini Schnauzer Carl had a wonderful time again with Jessica and Mochi. We receive multiple updates and photos per day. Carl got lots of walks and play time. Timeliness and detail of communication is always perfect. Thanks so much!”

“Sheena took great care of my dog, Uno. She handled introductions between Uno and her own dog really well. She updated me with photos, and Uno looked like he was having a great time. It was clear he was in good hands and well cared for. I’d definitely recommend Sheena to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive dog sitter.”

“Kate and Mark are the best! They have the sweetest children as well! They took very loving care of Bowie and went above and beyond. Kate sent me so many sweet pictures and videos and it was clear that Bowie had a wonderful time. I really trust them. And will have them care for Bowie again in the future ♥️”

“Always amazing! Zella has stayed with them multiple times and she loves it every time. They are great with communication and the daily updates! 100/10”

“Great space for dogs to play in the backyard. Nathan was super easy to work with and fast to reply. We got photos and updates throughout the stay. Highly recommend them. Cheers”

“Ellie was a fantastic host to our husky Pepper. She is extremely attentive and made sure that Pepper got enough daily exercise and also plenty of snuggles during their downtime. We love that Pepper gets along so well with Ellie’s sweet dog Bear. Overall our dog had a great time and would absolutely book with Ellie in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Jiani provided attentive care for my cat while we were away for a week. My cat, Todie, stayed with Jiani at her place, and Todie is usually very shy and nervous in new places. With frequent photo updates from Jiani, I was able to tell that Todie grew comfortable in her care rather quickly, and it relieved much stress on my end. Jiani was very flexible with picking up Todie and dropping her back off, too, which made planning easy for me! I will absolutely rebook with Jiani in the future!”

“Carolyn was fantastic! She regularly updated me on how my pup was doing. She took him on multiple outings during the weekend and it looked like he had a blast the entire time. It was a pleasure to meet with her beforehand and she clearly really cares about all of the dogs she watches. Would definitely leave my dog with her again.”
“Would highly recommend Brittney and Will if you’re looking for a Rover sitter! They were so loving and patient towards my anxious dog Phoenix and made good use of a sunny weekend by spending a lot of time outside with Phoenix on walks or sunbathing. They have lots of experience with reactive dogs and immediately made my dog comfortable at the initial meet and greet. Easy drop off/pick up and plenty of cute pictures and updates during the weekend. Thank you so much, Brittney and Will, for taking such great care of Phoenix! He’s already counting down the days until he can come stay with you again!”

“My dog had a good time at Sunmee and Patrick’s. He made good friend with their dog Winter. Sunmee, Patrick and their lovely son took good care of Nui and kept me updated with videos and pictures. I look forward to booking NUI’s next stay with them.”

“Devan was excellent with Pepper, and was extremely meticulous in his communication. We received constant text and photo updates during his stay and that’s one of the most important qualities when caring for a pet.”

“Lauren was amazing, and will absolutely use her again to watch my pup. She was great at communicating and sent lots of great photos. My dog loved her dog, and I think is coming home a happy and tired doggie!”

“Maiko and her family were wonderful. They really made Sadie feel at home and part of their family and I could tell that Sadie loved them and felt so at ease, right from the beginning. Communication was great and I really appreciated seeing pictures and hearing about their adventures. If I could give 6 stars, I would.”

“Margaret and Tony gave us the rare gift of peace of mind. From the moment we met them, it was clear how much they genuinely care for animals. They were wonderful with our two dogs—patient, affectionate, and attentive to their routines. While we were out of the country, they kept us updated and made sure our pups felt safe and loved. We came home to dogs who were content, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We couldn’t ask for better sitters.”

“Isabella did a wonderful job taking care of my cat Midna. She was thorough and attentive and I appreciated the photos she gave during the booking to help clarify things. Thanks again Isabella!”

“Andrea was a dream pet sitter for our cat, rabbit, and guinea pig (my kids call her the bunny whisperer). She went above and beyond to ensure their safety and well being, asking for clarifications and noticing behaviors. Our occasionally shy pets clearly sought out her company during the visit, with the bunny even giving her kisses. She clearly adores the animals and addressed each of our pets socially, playing with them and engaging them. Andrea is highly communicative and sent lots of wonderful Rover Cards. She was proactive with our delivered mail and conscientious of our home. We feel so grateful to have found her!”

“Jiani took great care of our two cats over a weekend, and she shared photos of them eating and playing. Cats were happy and healthy when we returned. While we are okay with people wearing shoes in our house, I appreciated that Jiani took off her shoes when we did the meet-n-greet with the cats”

“Caleb was a fantastic cat sitter! He was reliable and communicative. He sent us daily updates with pictures and most importantly, Caleb gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands. We'll definitely be using Caleb again next time we need a sitter.”

“Debs was great taking care of my elderly cat while I traveled out of the country. Even though my ability to communicate was challenging in a 3rd world country halfway across the globe, I felt confident that Debs had everything in control and would take good care of my furry friend. Debs is the best cat sitter I have ever had. I am deeply grateful for her going above and beyond.”

“Julie is such a wonderful sitter! she really cares about your animals and goes the extra mile to make sure that you and your pet are both comfortable! I highly recommend her ^_^”

“Amy has now been our cat sitter 3 times including when we were recently out of the country for over a month. She really knows cats, and our cat really loves her, despite being shy with most pet sitters. She played with him every visit and sent updates with lots of photos, and even set up a new treat puzzle we had bought but hadn’t set up yet. I plan to keep booking Amy whenever we can!”

“Madysen stepped in to board my two cats at the last minute and was a lifesaver! The kitties were happy, safe and comfortable and that reduced their (and my!) stress immensely.”

About: I have had cats for most years of my life, but am currently cat-less for the first time in many years after my old orange kitty bud died at 24 years. I am not sure if life aligns right now to get another pet, but caring for others could be a good fix! He gave me lots of experience with med administration and health issues monitering, and I also took care of another friend elderly cat for years as well. I am great at understanding cat behavior and cues, giving meds, and am sure to communicate well because I know how reassuring that is!

“Caroline did a great job of winning over my skittish cat! She was reliable and her feedback made me feel reassured that all was going well. I would not hesitate to use her again.”

“10/10 recommend!!! Allison sent constant updates on my 17 yr old kitty while I was on a long trip. She made me feel informed and relieved that my old guy was in such loving hands. Thank you so much Allison and I will reach out if I need your help again!!!”
“Clive was wonderful to work with. He is attentive and caring with my two cats. He is thorough with his daily reports. I would recommend to anyone needing a cat sitter.”

“Caitlyn was my first Rover-sitter, and I will most certainly ask her to check in on my little pal again in the future. She's timely in her communication, and attentive to details.”

“Anatolii was the kindest, most attentive pet sitter for my bird Coco and treated her like family. He brought her healthy fruits and veggies as treats, spent time with her, made sure her environment was comfortable and safe, and spotlessly maintained the house. A caring, reliable pet sitter. Five stars - recommend! I hope Anatolii will come back and care for Coco next time I travel.”

“Wonderful experience! My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable during her time with Margot. Communication was great, and I really appreciated the care and attention. I've already booked again! Highly recommend!”

“We're so happy to have found Lorena! Our trusted sitter was unable to sit any longer and we scoured Rover to find Lorena. She is in tune with the pups, kind, thoughtful and has a very relaxed environment for the pups. Bear loved his visit and we're ecstatic to have found a loving environment for him.”

“Darlayna and her boyfirend were awesome and able to host my pup on short notice while I went snowboarding! My dog came home sleepy and happy and was even given a bath and had her blankets washed after she dug up a hole in their yard (oops!). I really appreciated how flexible, communicative and understanding they both were. Thanks again :)”

“Yufang took such great care of Taco! Her home is well set up for dog care — safe, clean, and comfortable. Taco got plenty of playtime, attention, and belly rubs, and came home happy and relaxed. I really appreciated all the pics and video.”

“Brittney and Will were by far one of the best Rovers we’ve used to-date. Our 90-lb Sheppard-Pitbull Theo is a high energy and somewhat nervous dog and they were the perfect match for him. It’s always a stressor leaving our boy in care of somebody else but we were at ease leaving him with Brittney and Will. Brittney kept us updated on Theo very frequently which we loved and you can tell they have such a love for dogs. Thanks you two! Until next time! 😊”

“Always a good day with Carmen! A full day at a dog daycare feels like sensory overload for my busy puppy. A full day of care with Carmen feels like Georgia is at a friends house with one on one care. Tons of updates and she comes home tired and happy.”

“Wilbur had a wonderful time with Katherine and Hana. It usually takes him some time to settle into a new space but he really seemed to feel at home. We are looking forward to next time!”

About: I work from home and love dogs and cats! However I cannot have my own at this time. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, having had both. I have a fenced yard with a great outdoor space. I also live close to the Burke Gilman trail and love walking to Matthews Beach park or Meadowbrook park. I have a car so can drive to other destinations.
“Super appreciative of Sheena watching our dog for the first time on such short notice. She kept us posted and gave us a great recap of what the day looked like for our pup.”

“I brought TWO dogs to Chunli very last minute. I had my dog and my daughter's dog. Chunli was incredibly sweet to them. She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! They each had different feeding instructions and different dog foods and she followed all the instructions to the letter. The dogs were picked up at the end of a long day happy and barely even noticing I was there. I would totally use Chunli again.”

“Elli was great ! Responsive and accommodating to my needs for my yorkie Milo! He was so excited to see her for day care, she took great care of him!! Will definitely book again!”

About: I have lived with and cared for a number of animals in my life (primarily cats and dogs). I am experienced with breeds of a variety of sizes and behaviors. I work for a public school in Seattle so I have a lot of availability in the summer! I am usually happy to start early. I like to give animals their space and let them come to me if they wish. I try to be as attuned as possible to an animal’s body language and communication.
About: Hi! My name is Melani. I grew up with cats and dogs, so I swing both ways when it comes to furry friends. I love all dogs and breeds, big and small. I do have a special spot in my heart for rescue animals, as the loving owner of a rescue dog named Lola (she gives lots of love in return). My experience adopting, training, and caring for a rescue animal gives me insight into caring for your pet. I know the importance of keeping an eye on your pet's behavior and staying aware of triggers, so your pup can be safe and have fun. Safety is my #1 priority, and my #2 priority is fun. I love meeting other animals, and I'm excited to meet your pet!
“We are so grateful for Andrea! We hired her short-notice following some unexpected injuries and she was on-time, reliable, and absolutely wonderful with our dog. He would cry with excitement every time she came to pick him up. She was a great communicator throughout and flexible with our shifting needs. Would recommend her to anyone.”

“Isabella is awesome! We’ve used her several times for walks now and Frankie always comes back super happy. Will definitely continue using Isabella for more walks in the future”

“Harper is great! She is extremely punctual, patient and thoughtful. On the hot day she brings water bottle so that my dog stays hydrated. My dog loves going for walks with Harper!”

About: I have extensive experience caring for senior pups and administering medications. I’ve cared for all types of dogs, from nine to ninety pounds! I love pets and I’d love the opportunity to care for your four legged friend!. I currently work part-time and I’m off school for the summer! My schedule is very flexible and easy to work around. I have no conflicts which can’t be worked around! I’d prefer to care for your pet in your own home, as I have a pup of my own and she can be a little persnickety!
“I was extremely pleased. Debs & Paul were perfect, professional & punctual. So many Ps! I needed someone last minute to walk my kidz: two rambunctious Rhodesian Ridgebacks. D&P are nearby so we scheduled a meet&greet. Charly, my girl, barked and Paul just stood straight and didn't look at her. He gave her a few cookies and D&P were totally unfazed by her! That moment showed me that D&P clearly understood dog behavior. My kidz came back from their first walk happy, tails a-waggin'. D&P sent photos of their walks and how the kidz responded to other dogs. I'm very happy with D&P and am planning on going one-step further and have them housesit.”

“My husband and our lab Sammie walk together every day. While he was away for 2 weeks Anatolii and Svetlana provided great walks which Sammie absolutely loved. She waited at the door for them to arrive, and when they returned she was happy and tired for the rest of the day. They loved Sammie as much as she loved them and sent us wonderful pictures. They are friendly, reliable, always on time. Would definitely recommend and will have them walk with Sammie again.”

“Caralyn was great! She asked thoughtful questions about my pup during our meet and greet. She communicated before and after picking him up and taking him for a walk and sent pictures.”

“Margaret did wonderfully with my nervous dog Kona! She pays close attention to detail and followed the care and access instructions to a T. She is very good about reading dog body language and understanding when a pet may be too hot, or too tired and goes off of the signals sent by the dog. She is super sweet and detail oriented and even takes great pictures of the pets under her care! Would absolutely book again!”

“Elli did an awesome job caring for my active, high-energy pup. She was very flexible, responsive and kept me up to date. Great experience all around, I highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have close to a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 3‑month‑old black kitten I adopted last month. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.
“Booked a walk on short notice since I overstretched my calf and Angela was willing to walk Uber the same day. They went 1.5 miles in an hour despite Uber being the type of dog to sniff every few feet. Uber came home happy and smiley. Would book with Angela again.”

“Sheena really knows dogs and clearly loves them. My dog took to her tight away. She has been completely reliable and consistent. I come home to a relaxed, calm, contented dog.”

“Dylan was great! She was on time walking my pup and always logged the bathroom breaks and took pictures. I could tell by the pictures that my dog warmed up to her immediately!”

My goal in pet care of any kind is making sure your pets feel as safe, loved, and happy as possible. I’m very comfortable working with reactivity in dogs and will ask all dog owners what their dog’s limits and preferences are with common triggers during walks. I also have experience with senior dog care and medication administration. I’m a PhD student with a flexible work schedule during the school year and full daytime availability during the summer. I am also a part-time musician. The safety and comfort of your pets is my most important priority. I commit to following the “leave no trace” rule when visiting in client’s homes.

“Ziyan is a fantastic sitter. Her home is heaven for dogs with a large fenced hard and a dog door that allows GG to go outside whenever she wants. Ziyan was very attentive and kept me informed throughout the day. GG came home happy and tired! I will use her again without hesitation.”

“Tunyi was calm and wonderful with our dog. She made a special effort to encourage him to eat and sent many pictures and videos each day. Highly recommend!!”

“Peter is a phenomenal rover. He treated Tito just like one of his own dogs. Tito got tons of attention, activity, and most importantly, playtime in with Peter and Nova. Couldn’t recommend him enough if you’re looking for a safe place for your dog to be while out of town.”

“Hazel had a great time with Samm T, plenty of love, walks, and playtime with other dogs! She was truly well-cared for and we appreciated the frequent updates. Thanks again!”

“Wendie did an excellent job taking care of Pepper as evidenced by her generous use of photos and update messages. We could tell that our pet was well-loved while also well-monitored during her time with Wendie. Would highly recommend Wendie and will absolutely board with her again!”

“Kay did a great job taking care of Luna! Luna came back happy and well cared for. Kay communicated frequently, made sure Luna had her meals, and Luna clearly had a fun time with Kay and her pups. We really appreciated the care and would happily recommend her.”

“Michael was an amazing sitter for my dog and communicator for me!! We had a last minute schedule change and were traveling to Seattle unexpectedly. Michael was so helpful and accommodating to make this work with less notice than usual! He was prompt and communicative sending me pictures of Sox updates along the way. His dog Ellie was very chill and seemed to get along with Sox great. I definitely would (and will!) work with Michael again!”
