“Sitter was super nice, place is super clean and has a backyard for dogs to play. She took great care of my dog he seemed happy in all the pics and when I picked him up. I’m glad to find a sitter I trust!”

“Alexa and her family were such great hosts and caretakers for our dog Bo - lovely to coordinate with and obviously provided a super good care. Could tell Bo was relaxed and happy from the regular photo/video updates. Will definitely try to rebook with Alexa again soon! 🐾 🦮❤️”

“Isabella and Gui were the best hosts! Bobo truly had his own vacation in form of dog parks and couch snuggles. Your pup would be lucky to be cared by them!”

“Lucy loved her time with Casey and Ron. She got tons of love and activity and came back home super happy. Now she pulls towards their house when we go for walks. 10/10 would use again.”

“Phillip and his family created the most loving and relaxing environment for Grouter’s stay with them. He was very communicative and easy to coordinate with. Grouter had a great time and I had a wonderful vacation knowing my pup was in great hands!”

“I highly recommend Lorena for pup-boarding! My jack-chi Philo stayed with Lorena and her family while I was out of town for 6 days, and - like someone else had mentioned about their dog - I feel like he had his own little vacation. My previous go-to sitter had moved out of town and I was a bit worried about finding someone who could meet the needs of my sensitive little boy. After reading Lorena's reviews, I had a very good feeling, and she even offered a meet and greet in person or phone beforehand. The care was excellent, with lots of pics of Philo out walking and updates. Their house was a great place for him too, with room to explore, get outside, and enjoy nature. And he even made some doggie friends while he was there. As Philo does sometimes, he wasn't eating all his food at first. After checking with me (I'd mentioned chicken is his favorite) Lorena gave him some chicken and he got a healthier appetite. The whole trip, I wasn't worried about Philo and knew he was in good hands which was a relief. Thank you Lorena!”

“We are so happy to have found Kathryn and Mark to care for Rosie. They put up with her silliness (eg, raiding their pantry) and took very good care of her. We have already booked with them again.”

“Nathan and his family were amazing sitters for my cat Curtis! They sent me the cutest photos and videos every day and gave him so much love. I can tell that he was very happy and he even became buddies with their cat Milo. I would recommend Nathan to all of my friends and family and I will book with him again in the future!”

“Sheena did so well with my two kiddos! Sterling can be a bit of a handful--he has anxiety and special needs (and is a bit of a grumpy old man). I can tell that she followed the most important directions I gave her based on his condition when I picked them up, I am very grateful. 🙂”

“Our pup came home tired and happy from a weekend of fun adventures with Carolyn. She truly cares for your dog as her own. Would highly recommend and will rebook with her again!!”
“Kelly & Karen were awesome! Kelly made sure to send daily photos & was very responsive overall. They were also flexible with pick up/ drop off times. Maggie enjoyed her stay!”

“It was wonderful having Ziyan care for Odessa. She was so caring and thoughtful. I felt very confident that Odessa would be very well taken care of, and she sure was. The updates and pictures were very well received and Ziyan was so attentive to Odessa’s needs. I would highly recommend her!”

“Jessica is amazing! She sent TONS of high quality photos of our dog every day. We can tell she took great care of him and he had an awesome time. We would definitely recommend her and plan on boarding our dog with her again!”

“Jiani provided attentive care for my cat while we were away for a week. My cat, Todie, stayed with Jiani at her place, and Todie is usually very shy and nervous in new places. With frequent photo updates from Jiani, I was able to tell that Todie grew comfortable in her care rather quickly, and it relieved much stress on my end. Jiani was very flexible with picking up Todie and dropping her back off, too, which made planning easy for me! I will absolutely rebook with Jiani in the future!”

“Yingqi was outstanding. Very communicative sending photos and videos and took excellent care of our dog. I felt comfortable knowing that she was in great hands and my dog looked really happy being there. Would definitely book again!”

“Jerica and Nori were amazing! Nori was playful and accommodating with a new dog on his turf and he and Toby played so well together! I got lots of photos and updates from Jerica during Toby’s stay and it was clear Toby had a great time and was well cared for. Highly recommend Jerica! We will re-book in a heartbeat!”

“This is the second time we’ve had Amy take care of our cats, and she has been wonderful. We wouldn’t have been able to enjoy our two-week trip without knowing our cats were in such good hands. She fed them wet food every day—even though our cats are usually not very comfortable with strangers, they love having her around. She even figured out how to refill the cat feeder without any instructions. Our cats really enjoyed her company. We’re very grateful and would absolutely book her again!”

“Sonja was really great with my kitty and was kind enough to take the job on short notice. She was super amenable and sent me plenty of pictures to keep me updated on how my little guy was doing. I’d happily use her services again!”

“Caroline helped us in a pinch. She was clear, kind and thoughtful in her communication. But more importantly our cat LOVED her! We knew he was well cared for.”

About: I have had a cat in my life since I was born. I learned how cats operate and how to read them very early on. My soul cat was a rescue I got at 11, thinking I would give him a good last few years. He lived to be 22 thanks to careful learning directly from cat specializing vets and extensive personal research. I have rescued kittens off the street, and taken care of many people’s cats over the years!

“Thank you, Isabella, for checking in on our two kitties while we were away for a few days. We really appreciated the regular communication, with pics., each morning. 🙂🐈🐈⬛”

“second time having meriam watch our kitties while out of town and will continue to rebook whenever we’re away. such thought and care, and the best photos (plus video!) of your babies.”

“Debs was great with our elderly cat. She gave her lots of love and we returned to a contented feline with a clean litter box. Debs was terrific about communicating with us, too!”

“Jiani took great care checking on my cat. She was kind and attentive to her needs. She sent a detailed update complete with photos. Would be happy to book her again.”

“Caleb was a fantastic cat sitter! He was reliable and communicative. He sent us daily updates with pictures and most importantly, Caleb gave us peace of mind knowing our cat was in good hands. We'll definitely be using Caleb again next time we need a sitter.”

“Nicolas is a fantastic cat sitter! I got photos and updates after each visit and my anixous kitty warmed right up to him. My cat had a slight dental emergency while I was away and he kept me updated”

“Julie is such a wonderful sitter! she really cares about your animals and goes the extra mile to make sure that you and your pet are both comfortable! I highly recommend her ^_^”

“Working with Bonnie has been great this past week. Our dog Sadie can be finicky with her walkers and also with other dogs, but Bonnie won Sadie over really fast. Sadie looked happy at every walk and was super happy when we came home. Thanks, Bonnie!”

“Allison is dependable, and takes great care of my cat. I especially appreciate the updates and pictures she gives with each check-in. I know my cat is getting time and attention as well as basic care, and that’s really important to me. Thanks again Allison!!”

“We're so happy to have found Lorena! Our trusted sitter was unable to sit any longer and we scoured Rover to find Lorena. She is in tune with the pups, kind, thoughtful and has a very relaxed environment for the pups. Bear loved his visit and we're ecstatic to have found a loving environment for him.”

About: I work from home and love dogs and cats! However I cannot have my own at this time. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, having had both. In my free time, I used to volunteer taking dogs from a nearby shelter for walks, I find it personally just very rewarding (and great exercise)! Because I work from my home, I can be more flexible with my schedule. I live next to the Burke Gilman trail and love to take walks. I am active as a person (swimming, running, water polo) and can help get those energetic doggos get moving! Since I work from home I can manage my schedule (more flexibility) and can either walk dogs in the afternoons or evenings. Weekends can be more flexible depending on the weekend. I have a fenced yard with a great outdoor space. I also live close to the Burke Gilman trail and love walking to Matthews Beach park or Meadowbrook park. I have a car so can drive to other destinations.

“Darlayna and her boyfirend were awesome and able to host my pup on short notice while I went snowboarding! My dog came home sleepy and happy and was even given a bath and had her blankets washed after she dug up a hole in their yard (oops!). I really appreciated how flexible, communicative and understanding they both were. Thanks again :)”

“Super appreciative of Sheena watching our dog for the first time on such short notice. She kept us posted and gave us a great recap of what the day looked like for our pup.”

About: I have a variety of experience house, dog, and cat sitting for animals of all ages, and many with medical needs. I am personable and punctual, and have a very flexible day-to-day schedule and love to meet new pets! Open for short notice bookings! I work fully remotely, and so have a very flexible daily schedule, into which some pet time fits great. I have plenty of free time on a weekly basis for unique needs and timing. I have extensive experience pet sitting at client's homes, including overnight. I think caring for pets on their home turf is a great way to get to know them and provide enrichment and fun times!

About: My husband and I are lifelong dog lovers with more than 20 years of experience caring for dogs. Because our friends know how much we love dogs, they often trust us to care for their pets while traveling, from short stays of a few days to extended stays of a month or more. We treat every dog as if they were our own family member. Pet care is a natural part of our daily life. I am a stay-at-home mom, and my husband works remotely from home, so dogs are never left alone. We have two responsible teenage boys who also enjoy spending time with dogs. With our own Golden Retriever and frequent dog guests, our home is set up to provide plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and a loving family environment throughout the day. We have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely go outside to play and relax. We make sure every dog is well supervised and feels comfortable, safe, and at home. Dogs get regular potty breaks, daily walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. We always follow each owner’s routine and instructions, including feeding and any special care needs. I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my husband works remotely, so there is usually someone at home during the day. Our two teenage boys also love spending time with dogs, so your pup will get plenty of companionship and affection. We really enjoy having dogs in our home and treat every one like part of the family. Our goal is to make sure your dog feels happy, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

“Carmen is wonderful! She took such great care of our puppy. The updates and photos she sent helped this first-time puppy mama feel at ease knowing my pup was having fun and in such great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Michelle was great! Our girl was relaxed and sleeping when we picked her up at end of day and smiling in the photo from their walk. We would be happy to have Michelle watch Soleil again in future.”

“Kenny was great! He provided regular updates, was on-time for pick up and drop off, and provided special care for our dog who has a few unique needs. Our dog came home calm and happy. We hope to book with Kenny again!”

“Brittney and Will were by far one of the best Rovers we’ve used to-date. Our 90-lb Sheppard-Pitbull Theo is a high energy and somewhat nervous dog and they were the perfect match for him. It’s always a stressor leaving our boy in care of somebody else but we were at ease leaving him with Brittney and Will. Brittney kept us updated on Theo very frequently which we loved and you can tell they have such a love for dogs. Thanks you two! Until next time! 😊”

I have a 12-year old cuddly, low-energy senior dog, a fenced backyard and am in a walkable area of Seattle. I am home most of the time so your doggo will likely always have company. About: Hi! My name is Jeanine. I work full‑time as a Fellowship Program Administrator, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. I offer house sitting, drop‑in visits, and dog walking. Because I mainly work from home, I have the flexibility to care for your pets’ needs throughout the day. Though I’m new to Rover, I have a decade of experience pet sitting for friends and caring for my own cats. I currently have two cats: a 7‑year‑old tabby I adopted at 7 weeks old, and a 4-month‑old black kitten I adopted in late May. I see pets as family members and believe all animals are part of a vulnerable population that deserves just as much care and respect. My cats are my children! I’m a lover of all animals, and if I had the means to provide excellent care, I’d absolutely have an animal sanctuary. In late November 2025, I lost my 11‑year‑old cat to aggressive GI lymphoma. Caring for him through multiple health conditions gave me invaluable experience. He had asthma, inflammatory bowel disease, a throat tumor that blocked 90% of his airway (which was successfully removed), hip dysplasia (also a successful surgery), and a luxating patella that required an ankle brace. Going through all of this taught me how important it is to be in tune with your animals; recognizing signs of distress or pain, noticing small changes in behavior or routine, respecting boundaries, and staying aware of potential toxins or safety hazards in their environment. I also have experience with: - medication management (pills, liquid meds) - basic wound care (applying ointment, bandages) - shy, anxious, and reactive cats - kittens - dog walking - following routines (feeding schedules, walks, play, downtime) - comfort with senior pets and pets with chronic conditions - knowledge of cat behavior and body language - experience with multi‑pet households - providing frequent photo updates so you always feel connected and reassured Whether they’re shy, silly, senior, or full of zoomies, I’m excited to care for them exactly how they need. And until I can open my dream animal sanctuary, I’m grateful for every pet I get to love and care for. I work full‑time, with four days a week working from home and one day a week in the office. Since I’m home most of the week, pet care fits easily into my daily routine. Depending on your needs, I’m flexible during weekdays. If I’m house sitting, I can provide playtime, walks, feeding, and cuddles throughout the day, as long as it doesn’t overlap with my meetings. If you’re booking dog‑walking only, I’m available early mornings, midday during my lunch break, and after 5pm. My availability is open and flexible on weekends, so I’m happy to accommodate whatever your pets need. Safety and comfort are huge for me. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I want them to feel completely safe, seen, and cared for while you’re away. I stick to your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and I’ll always check in with you if anything needs to shift. In your home, I’m big on keeping things clean and cozy. I scoop litter boxes 2+ times a day, wash food bowls after every use, refresh water daily, and keep the space tidy. I’m also super mindful about safety. Food, drinks, plants, hair ties, strings, and any little “oops” hazards get put away so curious paws stay out of trouble. I keep the vibe calm and gentle, and I always let pets come to me on their own terms. No forced interactions. I follow their pace, their comfort level, and their boundaries. I’m extremely careful with doors and entryways, and I’ll never assume it’s okay for any pet to be outdoors unsupervised. And when it comes to cats, I never assume it’s okay for them to be outside under any circumstance. I double‑check (sometimes triple!), and do everything I can to make sure no one sneaks out. For dog walks, I stay alert and aware of our surroundings. I’ll wait for other dogs to pass or cross the street if needed, and I keep treats on hand to encourage positive behavior and make walks fun and rewarding.
“My first experience using a walker on Rover and Caroline has been punctual, responsive, and took great care of our boy! She also included such great pictures!”

“Do you remember Liza Minnelli's Ring Them Bells about a girl who travels the world to find a guy next door? Well Deb and Paul and in walking distance to my house! It was so funny figuring that out and getting to know them as they came over to meet my girls and take them for a walk. I loved getting pictures and know they spent quality time with Sienna and Canella. The girls told me that they can wait to see Paul and Deb again.”

“My snobby anti-stranger Basenji took to Darlayna in very short order. She really knows how dogs operate, and she totally gets my dog’s triggers and willful nature. I know my dog will get exercised and get plenty of houndly sniffs, and he will be SAFE.”

“Great dog walker highly recommended. She has been great with my high anxiety dog and really helped her get used to new people and new situations. My dog is incredibly happy to see her.”

“I highly recommend Julie. We hired her to walk our dog, Jemma, while Jemma was staying with a family member during a trip. Julie is kind and caring, and it’s clear she truly loves dogs. Jemma adored her and eagerly waited by the door for her daily walks. Julie is organized, communicates well, and sent us plenty of pictures. It gave us great peace of mind knowing Jemma was in such good hands.”

“Twyla had a great stay with Wendie! She was happy and kept entertained. Wendie was communicative which I appreciated as Iove seeing photos when my dog is away. Super flexible with adjusting our pick up time too! Twyla will be staying again in a couple months!”

“Tunyi was calm and wonderful with our dog. She made a special effort to encourage him to eat and sent many pictures and videos each day. Highly recommend!!”

“Rachel was so great with our dog Charlie. Communicative and sent lots of pictures each day which made me feel so much less anxiety about leaving him knowing that he was getting such great care :)”

“100% would book again. Adam was very patient and understanding. I have a VERY rambunctious and excited husky and chose Adam because he had raised a husky and knows the breed. He was on time, asked all the necessary care questions and made me feel confident that Riku was in good hands. Riku came back happy and I was able to have a nice night out with no worry.”

“Michelle is amazing and took such great care of our pup Moosie while we were away. She is reliable, caring, trustworthy, and a quick communicator. We already have her booked for more visits and Moose can’t wait to see her again! Thanks Michelle :)”
