“Scott was great! I’d highly recommended him to care for your dog. We have three pups which can be a lot for one to handle which Scott did with ease. He was dependable and prompt and is a great communicator. Daily updates and pictures were especially appreciated and provided regular assurance. Thanks Scott - will definitely use again in the future!”

“Brittany was great! She kept us updated each day with pics. of our kitties. And responded quickly to our messages and simple requests. Thank you!”

About: I believe that every animal deserves to be absolutely and utterly spoiled for all the love, joy, and let's be honest- therapy they give us. Every dog is a good dog, no matter how difficult they may be. Every unwanted behavior has a cause and it's up to us to learn how "talk" back and keep them safe by meeting their needs. That's where I come in! I've grown up with dogs my whole life and I've spent the last year fostering multiple dogs so I'm uniquely aware of the different needs of different dogs! I've had or worked with small and large dogs, deaf dogs, reactive and aggressive dogs, high prey drive, leash pulling, anxious dogs, and just generally high energy dogs. I would love to get to know your furry friend and hang out with them! *If there are special/extenuating circumstances that make my services unaffordable, please send me a message* I'm in my first year of grad school at UW which means my schedule does vary but I always make time for the fur babies! My own dog thrives on routine and gets a 30 minute morning walk, 1-1.5 hour afternoon walk, and a few short potty walks as needed. I'm happy to maintain or supplement your fur babies routines! I'm happy to meet beforehand and make sure that we're a great fit and you feel confident in leaving your fur baby with me. I promise to treat them like my own and ensure both your and your animals comfortability and safety. I do have two cats but they have their own room with a door that closes.

“I booked the wrong day and Maria was so accommodating and able to come last minute ! Appreciate her very much!”

About: I've cared for dogs and cats both as my own pets and as a caretaker for others while they've traveled and needed someone responsible 🙂 I'm currently a graduate student at UW looking to incorporate Rover into my schedule as a flexible way to earn money and hangout with pets! I take the specific needs of mine and others pets very seriously and have a strong respect for making sure I'm attentive to specific needs.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats from all walks of life (both young and old) and have two cats and a dog of my own. I am able to administer meds as needed (experience with oral pills, syringes, eye drops etc) put on diapers, monitor and prevent Houdini escapes from cones....you name it...I'm your girl! :) Also coming from Colorado and being an outdoors girly, I am no stranger to the outdoor elements and ensuring that our furry friends are safe! I am working part-time and don’t have any trips on the calendar for the immediate future, so I am available for any house-sitting, drop-ins and or walks! Having a dog and two cats of my own, I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet in the care of someone else, so my job is to make sure that all parties involved feel as safe and as comfortable as can be! Now this begins with me doing my due diligence and getting any special instructions that are needed during your absence (meds, physical requirements, behavioral actions etc) and then realistically, just treating them as if they were my own and giving them ALL the TLC they deserve!

“Christopher took great care of our dog Daisy while we were out of town. I appreciate his clear communication and frequent updates.”

“Sarah is an amazing Catsitter who took such wonderful care of our three kitties. We got lots of updates and pictures that showed how much fun our cats were having. Sarah really understood the personality of each individual cat which also meant a lot. 10/10 kind person, would absolutely recommend Sarah!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for friends and relatives since I was a child. Over the years I have helped friends with their dog walking businesses while they were aways and dog and house sat for friends (and their friends/family) for years, so I have some experience in this field. I'm now hoping to do pet care more seriously so I'm starting a Rover account. I love working with all sorts of animals regardless of their size and I have experience working with therapy dogs, sensitive/emotional dogs, large dogs, small dogs and everything in between. I have learned how sensitive animals are to a human's emotions and state of mind, and I make sure to provide a calm and positive energy to the animals in my care. I believe the keys to a happy and well-adjusted dog are providing positive redirection when the dog is doing an undesired behavior and making sure the dog has daily exercise and mental stimulation. I am happy to do meet and greets ahead of any booking and discuss any questions you have in advance. I'm available for drop-ins or walks almost anytime (if it shows as available on my calendar) including early morning/late nights as needed. For house sitting, I'm available for overnights with your pet and can review my schedule for the days you request to make sure my daytime schedule matches your needs. In general, though I can do potty-breaks/walks every 4 hours. For dogs that like to go for car rides, I'll bring the dog(s) with me most everywhere I go and will leave them alone as little as possible. Since I have a small apartment, I do not offer boarding services unless it is a dog that I have worked with before who I know would be OK in the apartment. The dog would need to be kenneled when alone in the apartment. For taking care of pets in your home, I'm happy to work with any house-rules you have for the pet regarding rooms it is allowed to go in or any other special setup/schedules in the home. I'll treat your home with respect, and I am a single and quiet person.

About: I work fully remotely and only look after cats from one household at a time to ensure I can give your pets the relaxing vacation experience they deserve while you’re away! Since I work from home, I’m available for boarding all day long on weekdays. On weekends I can sometimes be gone for half a day, so it’d be good to get advance notice (2 weeks would be best) if your cats cannot be left alone for that long. I have a three story townhouse so there should be lots of space to accommodate your cat and their toys and furniture if needed. My house is smoke free, alcohol free, and kid free. Also cats are allowed on furniture and bed!

About: I have lots of experience caring for my own pets and other people's too! I grew up with both cats and dogs which has given me an appreciation for both as pets. The experience of training my Australian Shepard, Cleo, has given me lots of tools for working with dogs. Likewise, the experience of patiently taming my cat Terra has taught me how to befriend even the most prickly of cats. Also, because of my kitten Casper, I consider myself a master at the dynamic art of swirling cat-toys. I am currently studying for graduate school (I am hoping to become an elementary school teacher!), so I would love to take some time away from my computer screen to walk your pups and cuddle your kitties! For your cats, I'd love to play with them with whatever their favorite toy is! If they like treats or catnip, I'm not above a little bribery to win their trust :) With dogs, I'll need their leash (and harness if they wear one) and a little bag of their favorite treats. That way I can reward them for being the good boys and girls they are!

“Elli is such a nice, calm and wonderful human! Our pups had a great time with her. I would recommend her to anyone who needs someone that they can trust with their furry family members!”

About: I’ve loved animals since I adopted my very first cat at age 8. Since then, I’ve owned, loved, and cared for many animals, young and old, from cats and dogs, to horses and chicks. I’d love to cuddle with your cat, take your dog on a nature walk, or make sure your bunnies have the care they need. The bond between animals and humans is such a magical thing, and I’d be honored to care for your companions. I own my own website design business. I work from home and my routine is entirely my own. I have all the flexibility to take care of your animal companions. I am a careful, quiet, empathetic human being. I care for my friends’ and clients’ homes and companions with the care and attention to detail I care for and protect my own. **Please note: I drive a small car that’s not very compatible with large dogs. I cannot guarantee the safety of your dog in my car, and many dogs do experience anxiety or overwhelm in unfamiliar, smaller cars. Car rides will be reserved for emergencies only.

9. Allie L.
“I recently entrusted my beloved Australian Shepherd girl, Snoopy, to Allie for five days while I attended a wedding out of town. I could not be more thrilled with the exceptional care she provided. From the moment Snoopy and Allie met, it was evident that Allie treats every pet as if they were part of her own family. She welcomed Snoopy into her home with warmth and enthusiasm, quickly establishing a bond with her. Allie took meticulous care of Snoopy’s dietary needs and ensured she received ample outdoor exercise. She regularly took her to the dog park, allowing her to burn off her endless zoomies, and making sure she stayed active and happy throughout my absence. Allie kept me updated with frequent photos and messages, which reassured me that Snoopy was being loved and well cared for. Her thoughtful communication and attention to every detail of Snoopy’s routine made my time away worry-free. I returned to a content, well-exercised, and joyful dog. I wholeheartedly recommend Allie as a pet sitter for your fur-baby! Her love for animals and dedication to their well-being is just paw-some!”

11. Christopher C.
“Chris has watched our two cats at least two dozen times over the years. We always asked him to spend the night so he can house sit as well. He was always reliable and communicative. Based on the stories he would tell, the cats loved having him around as we have many pictures of our cats on his lap, or in his face.... only cats that trust you would sleep or take naps with you! We always came home to a clean house and a clean litter box; he was always respectful of our home and our space. Both our kitties are gone now, but when we do get our next pet, we will be sure to reach out to Chris for our pet and house sitting needs.”

15. Andrew T.
“I have known Andrew since 1996. During that time I have known Andrew to take excellent care of his German Shorthaired Pointer named Tank who lived to a ripe old age, as well as his black cat Binx. Andrew has also taken great care of my three mischievous miniature pinschers. I've also observed Andrew taking care of many other people's dogs long before Rover was around. Andrew takes great joy in bringing adventure to animals' lives, from long walks to several different off leash dog parks, to camping when appropriate. Your dog will love spending time with Andrew!”

16. Annabelle Z.
“Annabelle took care of our first kitty many times. He always had the softest fur after coming home from his "retreat" at Annabelle's home. We can tell he were happy and comfortable every time staying with her. Unfortunately, he passed away earlier this year and now, we have 2 new floofies! They just did their 1st boarding as kittens with Annabelle. We are grateful that she gave our kittens the most positive experience. We highly recommend her as your cat-sitter when you are traveling.”
