I will follow any instructions on caring for your pet in your home that you provide! If out for a walk, I like to stick to residential areas to keep pets safely away from traffic, etc.

Information Kailee E. would like to know about your pet

For cats: What level of interaction they like! Some cats are very lovey and into all the pets and attention, and others like their space! It’s helpful to know which type of cat yours is. For dogs: The best piece of information to know is what sorts of triggers your dog might have so I can avoid those on walks! (I.e. bicyclists, other dogs, kids, etc.)

A typical day

For cats: It’s great to know what types of activities they like (string toys, watching birds and squirrels, just laying around) to tailor the drop-in to be perfect for them! For dogs: I love exploring and going for neighborhood walks and letting dogs stop and sniff as much as they need! Also love to snap some cute photos on those walks to send to you!

Pet care experience

Hi fellow cat people! I took a brief break from Rovering but am back in action. As the owner of a kitty with CKD and HCM, I know how emotionally challenging it can be to leave for a trip without your pet. That’s why I’m here! A little bit about me: I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in creative writing and love all things literature and the arts. I’m experienced with oral administration of medicine for cats, as well as subcutaneous fluids.

Kailee checked in on my senior cat after I made a last minute booking. She provided prompt updates and lots of pictures! She also gave him oral meds with lots of churu! Will definitely ask her to cat sit in the future.

Kailee was absolutely wonderful with my two cats! Her communication was amazing—she consistently sent updates and photos that always put my mind at ease. You could tell just from the pictures how happy and relaxed my cats were with her. My male cat can be quite shy around new people, but Kailee was so patient and gentle that she completely cracked through his shell, making him feel safe and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better cat sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her again. Highly recommend!
