I’ve had an immense love and passion for animals since I was a kid. My whole life I’ve had a variety of pets, everything from dogs and cats to to lizards and hamsters. I’ve grown up walking and caring for dogs for my neighbors of a variety of breeds such as labs, pit bulls, chihuahuas, and standard poodles. I’ve been dog walking for over 10 years now and have loved every second of it. While living in Bellingham, I volunteered for 3 years at a local rescue where I ended up adopting my own dog named mason. Volunteering at this rescue not only helped me meet my best friend but also taught me so much more about dogs than I ever knew before. Being around animals is truly one of my favorite things. It is always a pleasure to care for your animals and I thank you in advance for considering hiring me to be that person. I truly look forward to meeting and hanging out with each and every animal I take care of. I love being able to develop my own special relationship with them depending on their needs and interests. It’s always so nice meeting new animal friends and getting to learn about them and their likes/dislikes, quirks, and personality.

Sonja did an amazing job looking after our cat. We got daily updates and photos, and of course most importantly we came home to a very happy and healthy pet. Can’t recommend Sonja enough!

Sonja was really great with my kitty and was kind enough to take the job on short notice. She was super amenable and sent me plenty of pictures to keep me updated on how my little guy was doing. I’d happily use her services again!
Two paws up for Sonja! My dog, Lucy, took to her right away despite her trust issues related to being a shelter dog. It takes a special person for a dog to feel comfortable around them right away and Sonja is that person! Sonja also fulfilled all my specifications for care and I came home to a very happy dog. Schedule
Rover is my main job right now and is one of my main priorities at the moment so I have a lot of flexibility and free time on my hands to accommodate to you and your pets needs :)
