I've been caring for other people's pets for years, which is how I ended up on Rover. I'm vegan and am passionate about animal welfare, so caring for your pets is an extension of how I already live. I practice yoga daily, and I move through a house or a walk with the same calm attention. Dogs and cats seem to really appreciate that. I handle large, strong dogs confidently on leash, and I follow medication routines for senior pets exactly as written. I know great routes - the quiet blocks, the good sniffing spots, and the ones to skip during rush hour. You'll get photo updates with every visit. If you want someone who genuinely cares for your pets, I'm your pet person! I work from home, which means your pet isn’t sitting around waiting for someone to show up. I’m already taking breaks to walk around the neighborhood anyway! Adding your amazing dog to that routine is honestly just more rewarding. I approach all pets with patience and respect for their personal space. I take my walks and pet sitting with great care. I want to get to know your pet’s energy, their triggers, and what makes them happy. I keep leashes secure and pay attention. I’m not going to be doomscrolling while your pet figures their next move.

About: I started pet sitting when I was 14 years old, and caring for animals has been a part of my life ever since. I’ve had five dogs of my own, so I truly understand the love, patience, and responsibility that comes with being a pet parent. I treat every dog like family and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. As a full-time student, my weekdays are focused on classes, but I’m available Friday afternoons and all weekend long for pet sitting, drop-ins, or walks. Your pets will have my full attention and plenty of love during my available time! I believe consistency is key when caring for pets. I stick closely to their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, crate schedules (if applicable), and any special instructions. I pay attention to their behavior and comfort level to make sure they feel safe and relaxed. If I’m in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect and keep you updated with regular messages and photos. If pets are staying with me, they’ll receive constant supervision, structured potty breaks, and lots of love and interaction.

About: I had a dog for six years when I was younger, the responsibility that comes with taking care of a living creature; feeding, bathing, walking, etc. is something that has become deeply engrained in my person. I have taken care of several dogs in the last few years, (as well as one cat!). They’ve mostly been dogs on the small but I’m still super open to walking a friendly big dog! I am currently on my summer vacation, so I am free most of not all day! Let me know what times you need, (with one day in advance), so I can get started on opening up my schedule. :) In an owners home I would take care for a pet as their directions instruct me to, making sure that the pet is happy and properly taken care of, as well as making sure not to damage anything or cause any disturbances.

About: I have been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember and can’t imagine life without them! I dog sat throughout high school and am looking to continue during my college career. I love all kinds of dogs and really miss mine from home—I’m hoping to get some dog time in while I’m going to school away from home. I’m currently going to school at the University of Washington studying environmental science, so I’ll have plenty of time to hang out with your dogs! I am in a sorority and don’t currently have a job. I am willing and able to follow any instructions for how you want your pet to be cared for. I would love to go for frequent walks and spend lots of time with them so they are happy and have someone to keep them company!

About: I’ve always loved dogs and grew up surrounded by them. I was an au pair for several years, and I continue to pet sit for my former host families as well as friends and people I know. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them with the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own. 🐾❤️ I work as a nanny during the week, so I’m available to care for pets, but they would be alone for about 8 hours during my workday. Because of this, I prefer Friday evenings and weekends, when I can spend more time with them. I’m also happy to take them on walks, and my apartment has a patio where they can get some fresh air and outdoor time. 🐾 My home is a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for pets. I have a patio where dogs can get some fresh air, and I’m always mindful of their safety and individual needs. I’m happy to follow their routines and any instructions from their owners.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life. I had two dogs as a kid and now I own an amazing German Shepard Husky mix. I love and enjoy being around dogs and puppies. I work as a catering contractor. My job is very flexible and I create my own schedule. I have lots of free time to take care of your dogs. I have a large fenced yard at my house for my dog to run around in. I am good with crates and crate training if needed.
