About: I’ve loved animals since I adopted my very first cat at age 8. Since then, I’ve owned, loved, and cared for many animals, young and old, from cats and dogs, to horses and chicks. I’d love to cuddle with your cat, take your dog on a nature walk, or make sure your bunnies have the care they need. The bond between animals and humans is such a magical thing, and I’d be honored to care for your companions. I own my own website design business. I work from home and my routine is entirely my own. I have all the flexibility to take care of your animal companions. I am a careful, quiet, empathetic human being. I care for my friends’ and clients’ homes with the care and attention to detail I care for and protect my own.
10. Amethyst T.
“Amenthyst was amazing! She cared for toki really well while I was away, providing him with frequent attention, cuddles, walks and she even went out of her way to buy him peanut butter for his snacks when I was out. She will go above and beyond to make sure your pet is well taken care of, she communicated the whole time and sent frequent pictures. Would definitely book with her again.”

About: I’ve been a dedicated dog sitter and walker for over six years for friends, caring for everything from energetic Huskies to smaller breeds. My experience with large dog breeds has given me a deep understanding of their unique needs, energy levels, and personalities. As an active and detail-oriented person, I’m committed to providing your dog with the attention, exercise, and love they need while you're away. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just some extra belly rubs, I’m here to make sure your furry friend is happy and well cared for. Let me be your trusted partner in giving your dog a safe and enjoyable experience! I work from home Mondays & Fridays with a fairly flexible schedule during the day. Tuesday - Thursday I do work in office, but have time in the mornings to fit in some morning walks. When it comes to dog sitting, your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I believe that pets feel most secure in their own environment, so I prefer to care for them in their own homes, where they are surrounded by familiar sights, smells, and routines. I am dedicated to respecting all the rules and boundaries you set for your pets, ensuring a consistent and stress-free experience while you're away. With me, you can trust that your furry family member will be safe, happy, and well-cared for at all times.

About: I have ALWAYS had a furry friend in my life and I couldn't imagine my life without them. I have personal experience with dogs of different ages, needs, and breeds. This ranges from adopting puppies to senior dogs, taking care of dogs with physical and emotional needs, as well as dogs with varying personalities and energy levels due to their breed and who they are. The first dogs I grew up with were three American Eskimos that we adopted at different times, but each of them were under 2 when they became part of our family. They all were rather nervous and independent dogs, but we knew that loving them was giving them space. Afterwards we adopted an 8 year old samoyed named Lexi who similarly had a nervous personality. However, she needed help trusting people because of her previous experiences. It took some time for her to get there, but with a lot of patience and coaching we were able to get her there. Later on, I was able to convince my parents to get our first newfoundland, Mongo, who we adopted when he was 6. He was an absolute lover boy, but had problems later on in life with mobility. My dad and I built multiple ramps and adopted things in our house to make it easier for him to get around. Similarly, we now have two other newfoundlands named Finley and Cole who also have mobility problems. Finley, who we adopted when she was a puppy, needed knee surgery when she was young which meant she needed similar mobility adjustments. Cole, who we adopted when he was 5, is still doing okay mobility wise, but constantly needs his nails trimmed so he doesn't slip on our hardwood floor. Of course I have also been around so many other dogs that my pets have met or my friends have had. I hope to bring the experiences that I have had with my dogs to your pets to give them a fun and caring experience that I would give my own pets. Currently, I am a masters student at UW looking for a part time job and can't think of anything more fun than being around pets. My daily routine is similar to a public school schedule because I am a student teacher, so my availability is early morning (6am-7am) or evening (5pm-8pm) during the work week. My availability during the weekend is flexible to the needs that you have for your pet. I am someone who treats other people's pets like they are my own. I know that so many people say that which makes it feel like it loses value, but I couldn't be more sincere when I say that. Similarly, I would treat your home with the utmost respect and care because it is critical to me to establish a trusting and caring relationship with my clients.
14. Maddie A.
“Maddie was a great cat sitter while we were out of town! She was communicative with us and timely for all check-ins (even bringing in a few porch packages so they weren’t sitting outside all week). Despite our old cat’s grumpiness, Maddie was patient and kind and sent us photos and thorough reports. We appreciate Maddie’s care and look forward to having her pet sit again!”
15. Michael P.
“I've had Michael watch over my Buddy a couple times already. My dog has a lot of wants and needs at his old age, but Mike has been able to look after him with no issues. He's inquisitive and thorough with walkthroughs. He's also communicative so you never have to worry about what's going on while you're away. Would hire him again when needed.”
16. Aileen L.
“Aileen was very good with my shy cat. She gave her love and attention while I was away. She even swept up the litter box area. I would definitely book her again.”
17. Summer S.
About: I have owned three very large dogs over the past 30 years. My last pet was a Bernese Mountain Dog named Arlo who was my constant companion for over 11 years. I have taken puppy training courses with each of my pets and am very attentive to each dog's unique disposition. I am a huge dog lover and have recently moved back to Seattle. I have complete flexibility to both housesit and take care of your pets unique needs. Dogs can tell I a am a dog person at heart. I am open to learning what your specific needs are for your pet when taking care of them within your home and around your neighborhood.
18. Charlie J.
“Char is the most wonderful, caring, thoughtful, flexible pet sitter I've ever had. I never felt nervous leaving my two fur babies with her (one cat, one dog) and she always sent me updates and pictures while I was away. She's flexible and always puts the animals first. I cannot recommend her enough.”
19. Emma B.
“Emma grew up with both dogs and cats in her family. In addition, she played a key part in training their current dog (a three year old Australian Shepard) to respond to hand signals. Emma is reliable and has cared for my two cats. I would be pleased to have her do so for a future trip.”
